As the title suggests, I am having issues connecting to anyone inside a lobby. ironically I don't have similar issues in Kane's Wrath, only Tiberium Wars.
after following another similar thread, DirectPlay through windows features and AltPeerChatPort are on. I dont need the VPN to connect to online services and Privado VPN does not seem to fix the issue either.
Any help is appreciated.

When you join in a lobby what does the connection symbol look like? Is it like a red circle with a line diagonally, is it like a grey connection symbol?

its the yellow variant
at least initially. the issue happens when connecting to another player, it attempts the connection but does not succeed.

Is the other individual a person that you particularly know and have planned to play with?

yes. we were all attempting to play with the tiberium wars advanced. I am the only person that fails to connect to other players

This is a strange case esp since TW and KW engine wise are almost the same game internally. Do you have them in the same directory?

What about running the Tiberium wars .exe (not the launcher) as administrator?
