TL;DR Game Crashes when starting multiplayer online after count down.
I have Tacitus installed and we can play co-op online, but when we try to start an online match, it just crashes. tried re installing and quick fixes but nothing worked so far. please help. Thanks. @alpine plover

In search type out windows features then open, go to legacy components and ensure DirectPlay is enabled
Ctrl+T then network and enable UseAltPeerChatPort

i just tried right now, and I couldnt make one, same issue, it crashes too.
the only thing i can play is campaign or co-op campaign

So you cant play offline in a skirmish vs AI only?

Also it might be worth going into your graphics panels, checking if RA3 was detected and putting all settings in the graphics panels to default to ensure no graphics driver settings are being overridden and causing a crash

they didnt work but we tried something different, We went back to version 1.13 instead, basically erasing the -runver 1.12 from the launch options then tried doing skirmish AI it worked. and finally the Online multiplayer, fortunately and gladly it worked as well. Thanks for the quick response bro. 👌
