I'd suggest doing a clean reinstall and being wary of what mods you install. Some mods fiddle with vital game components recklessly and prevent the game from launching

All I can advise and suggest is a clean RA3 install, running the game at least once then going to https://cnc-online.net/en/download/ and downloading and installing tacitus. Then go into the game and press Ctrl+T to see if a menu pops up on the top left then trying to log in

With regards to mods, its best to check reviews of the mod and if possible reach out and enquire with the mod creator for mod specific issues

Uninstalling the game then installing it again should solve your issues in regards to a corrupt RA3 install for the base game.

Same, I was able to play RA3 on steam two days ago with Tacitus no problems. Today both me and my friend had issues with launching

You shouldnt be getting a Generals Error if you're running RA3. Do you have generals installed with Gentool or Genpatcher?

Try verifying file integrity of all of the C&C games installed via steam

I don't even own generals xdd

I've tried verifying, reinstalled twice on different drives, unresolved, always fails after I select play from the RA3 boot menu

Apparently some others have had an issue with this because of an issue on steam's side. Try again later today or tomorrow whenever you are able. Verifying game files fixed the issue for most of them.

Try double checking for updates on steam as well before verifying the game files again
