Can you give me more details?
You want to play co-op together?
yes
Can you send a screenshot of the issue you are encountering?
GG @quartz raven, you just advanced to level 1!
Have you set it up like this?:
Privado VPN Instructions
Getting the VPN and setting it up:
- Go to https://signup.privadovpn.com/free
- Select the "10 GB limit" plan
- Enter the E-Mail address you want to use with your account
- Click "Create Your Free Account"
- Verify your account with the link sent to your email
- The website will now display you your password for the love of god save these credentials
- Click the "Download PrivadoVPN for Windows" button beneath your login credentials (in case you cant find it)
- Install the program and run the set-up
- Now you can choose between taking the tour or just starting the app, up to you
Setting the app up correctly: - Select the "Settings" button (bottom left of the window that opened)
- Select the "Bypass" option (NOT the tunnel option!)
- Now add all applications on your device that you know are eating much of your internet data, like browsers and Steam. This way, you will prevent going over your 10 GB limit too fast. Make sure NOT to add any of the Command & Conquer games to this list, otherwise they won't work
- Set the location the VPN connects to, to "The Netherlands" to assure its functionality
- Exit the settings
- Enable the VPN by clicking on *"Click to Connect" * within Privado
What to do in game:
- Open "Settings/Options"
- Go to "Network"
- You will find alternative IP-addresses in a drop down menu. Select a different one. Know that these IP-addresses are NOT the same as the one shown within Privado
- Now try to connect to multiplayer
- If it still doesn't work: go back to step 1 of this section and try any alternative IP-addresses that are still left in the dropdown menu.
- Let us know whether any of them worked.
Let us know whether this worked for you or not. If you encounter any issues, also please say so.

No, not the issue
Could you check if you've set it up correctly?
ye i rechecked and try to fix but my ra3 game said launcing but after 5s didnt open
Wait a bit longer please
Did you apply any other mods or tweaks besides Privado?
Ok:
Reinstalling the game after wiping everything
- Go into the installation folder of the game.
- Wipe EVERYTHING in it from existence, delete ALL the files thus of the game by hand.
- Simple uninstall through EA or Steam might not help!
- No registry cleaner needed.
- Reinstall the game then through EA or Steam. Or validate/verify installed files.
- Then boot the game once.
- Then after that redownload and reinstall Tacitus.
yeah i tried but i couldnt find out that mod files where and reinstall by steam does not help
Again, don't uninstall only by steam, but follow actually this whole advise, don't skip a thing
okey just like you said i delete it all of related files and now game can launch ill notiffy if if playable
but i have just one question other than multiplayer, when i hit skirmish my screen goes black and sound are normal even i can alt+tab it is there any way to fix
???
How often has this happened?
Then reinstall Tacitus
If you hadn't already done so
always goes black screen in singleplayer skirmish
GG @quartz raven, you just advanced to level 2!
Are you using DXVK?
whats that
Nevermind
Please do the following for me to gather info about your PC hardware and drivers:
- Type in
dxdiagwithin the Windows Search option/bar within the taskbar - Open this, it shows it with a blue round icon with a yellow cross in it
- Click on
Save All Information...at the bottom of the screen that popped up - Save it to a location of your choice
- Please upload the saved
DxDiag.txtdocument here- *Even though it might look like private info, know that it only contains extensive info about your hardware and drivers and **zero *private info!
- Wait till we have to analyze its contents and help you further
I'll look at this later today... please ping me if I haven't responded in two hours
Did you really actually followed ALL of these steps properly?
Where are you from btw?
