the new search bar sucks for usability with how it has arrow keys to navigate
instead of what most people expect which is arrow keys used for moving the text cursor around to say, edit words. It just focuses on the search results instead.
Which honestly just drives me up the walls, not because the arrow key function isn't neat and all, but just because not even things like ctrl + arrow keys work
on an additional note, dark theme seems to have the same behaviour as the old site's login behaviour which is that it doesn't actually apply the theme to pages unless you explicitly reload each page

another one is that tags dont seem to be validated in terms of length, so you can basically just attempt to create an incredibly long tag which looking at logs seems to crash the client which then just leads to the loading animation running forever, also rate limits idk what they're set to but I got CF banned from top.gg just for making a big tag.

New site sees this as being false though so idrk. Another alternate is that ads are just broken in general.

premium link button takes you to a 404 because it goes to https://top.gg/me/subscriptions
with the advertise page the navigation bar doesnt change background on scroll, so this ends up being pretty hard to read when reading down the page
although tbh i assume the page isnt finished because the buttons dont work
if not then, well, buttons dont work, that and nav bar just doesnt work
Colour theme basically follows the same issues as the previously mentioned background theme e.g. pages need to be explicitly reloaded to load the set colours
assuming these bars are supposed to be ratio bars or something similar, they seem to be inactive. If not, then this seems a lil weird

sorting by trending causes a feedback loop and infinitely searches, which has once again got me CF banned
and switching it back to votes also gets it stuck in a loop either because it keeps re-trying on a ratelimit / error or just gets completely stuck in the same loop
okay this seems to be more of an issue with the system re-trying and going over and over again
I think https://top.gg/api/client/entities/search is wayyy to heavily rate limited if I get ratelimits just by toggling the buttons twice

Im assuming you're still using a custom system @amber bane but the fuzzy searching seems to either not exist or hasn't got the right edit distance
if you got to url https://top.gg/search?q=crunchyroll you would assume it would match bots and servers that contain the term crunchyroll in the short desc, etc...
instead it just defaults to the top voted bots
tbh im not actually sure if this is a search engine thing or a cache issue because I get mixed results depending on if the query is crunchyroll or crunchyrol

Yea, I've noticed some issues with search too... its very hit or miss. Some days my bot will appear, some days it wont. And the results for each term seem to change on a weekly basis. Search definitely needs some work.

I think I found a bug -
if we search for something that doesn't bring up any result or isn't a tag, top.gg just shows up the top bots.
Whereas in the older version it scrapped through the bot description and only showed the bots which had that keyword in the description.
Even though there are different bots with word "HomeWork" in their description, they don't show up
Also, this keeps loading forever and never actually creates the tag for some reason.
It is creating tags in the non-beta version tho

The create tag seems to be working okay in the server list.
However, if we try to create a tag/add a tag after the number of tags has reached 5, it keeps on loading forever rather than saying something like "Maximum number of tags reached"
