That is absurd. I just don't like going out of my way to do quests honestly, so I haven't gotten the quest exp ones, but yea, I get the high exp per zombie now, and about 1.5k per loot container I open.

Yea, we definitely don't have enough ammo. I mean, it's not like we have literal boxes full of it that I've been actively scrapping because it's so useless to us.

Yea, I put all the books in the wall.
We have so many.
Finished sorting everything, and cleared out those wall cabinets so you can remove the hanging ones Hexy. You may also need to make another medicine box, because we're full up on all that too.

Also, we have so many pieces of armor, from now on I'm just scrapping any armor that's level 4 or lower.
All of us have level 6 anyhow, so could probably do the same with level 5, but I figure we'll keep it just in case anyone else decides to start playing when one of us who can make it isn't on.

I disagree.
Partly because I get a lot of exp from looting.
But also because it feels kind of lackluster to not get anything from killing them, even if we have plenty of loot.
The loot problem is more just because we ransack buildings constantly. 
And both of us at least have all the loot bonuses, so we get more stuff from doing so.

The loot EXP from zombies is the same as looting from containers.
You probably just looted the body while the kill exp was also listed, so it combined them.
Then you definitely have done something that isn't working as intended with exp. I do think that that quest exp skill is actually working for all your exp. I only get like 1.5-2k exp per container/zombie I think?

Actually, I think I might have realized why you get so much. If I'm not mistaken, I think the exp you get from looting is based on your current level to some degree. Since you're more than double my level, that's probably why you get so much exp from it.
I have noticed that as time has gone on, I get more exp from things, even when I haven't put more points into perks that boost it, so I do think there's some sort of scaling that happens behind the scenes. If so, it may affect things that don't give shared exp more. I still get more exp per kill than per loot, but obviously I can loot a lot more than I kill.

That is annoying, but fair. I'll have a look at it when I hop on. If the steel blocks do as you say though and can be used for horizontal support, I may go around a few spots and add steel beams to spread the weight around better.

Ugh. It's annoying that it's kind of hard to look up info about this stuff as well, since the wiki is super outdated and still has stuff listed from earlier alphas with only a note saying "it may not be accurate now", rather than whether or not it's actually changed.

This gives me a couple of ideas on where I can upgrade things specifically to help out. In particular I can upgrade the wall that exists at each floor and it should help out. Will end up looking a bit weird but it should theoretically improve the structure a lot.

And yea, after I watched that video I have a better understanding of how it all works. Theoretically horizontal beams do add a bit more support, but only because they're pulling from whatever wall block they're attached to, which means that the max support they can provide is capped by the wall block.

Yea, my sleep got really thrown off the other night, (still kind of thrown off actually), because we had a power outage that started right as I was going to bed, lasted an hour, then after it came back on I waited like twenty minutes to make sure it would stay on, only for it to go out again immediately after I tried to go to bed again. 
And unfortunately between the noise from my neighbors, and the heat, I can't really sleep without my AC on unless I'm absolutely passing out.
Also, sorry I haven't hopped on in general lately. I've been trying to wrap up some stuff in Eiyuden Chronicles since I'm at the end of the game and I've got a really bad habit of not finishing games fully. I'm off now. I basically spent the entire time I was on reorganizing the basement. vehicle parts now go into one of the columns in the center, and any electronics and traps go into the column on the other side.
All the weapon and tool lockers on the wall are organized by type. It should just be as simple as quick stacking to put whatever you find in there. From now on I'm scrapping anything we have more than five of until it gets down to five, and all the lower tier weapons aside from one of each type so you can quick stack into those chests.
To that end, if anyone has stuff they want to scrap but it'll take too long, there's now two boxes beside the workbenches that are dedicated to putting stuff in to scrap. I also doubled our capacity for ammo on the wall, just because, but still feel free to scrap any spare ammo you find instead of storing it.
I toned the loot down a bunch, added a new zombie boss, better stack limits, and....removed the buggy extraperk mod since it was kind of broken.
To compensate, I added an update to our base perks and added a new multiplayer damage mod for weapons that you have to craft up. This is the more recommended mod path according to the forums.
Everyone will need to respec to clear out the bugs since the extra perks are no longer available. I can't compensate for Aldi abusing the hell out of the EXP perk though.
Losing the extraperks effectively makes punching even more useless so I need to respec as well, but makes the game more balanced and more of a challenge for everyone. There's a brawler mod I may try just in case.

Honestly the extra perk mod wasn't that buggy though was it? I think the only perk that really caused issues was a base game perk for healing that you and Aldi had, not the extra perks?

I'm definitely going to miss the damage and exp bonuses for sure. Exp in particular, since enemies give so little as you get to higher level.

Yea, it's just that having the extra skills gives something to work towards. As is, it's not like we need loot or to explore or anything other than to level up, and with it being a longer to grind to level up, it makes exploring a lot less rewarding on top of having less to look forward to. I do agree that Aldi took it to the extreme from leveling so much via questing in particular, but he also plays more than the rest of us combined.

I was just trying to find a way to balance the game since Aldi was at an extreme and I couldn't play other than staying in base
I'll have to have a look in game at these new perks to really make up my mind. Are those changes just the new version, or is it that effect in addition to the base perk's effects? Because if they're not, it seems like a few of those are straight downgrades compared to the base game's perks. Like that list just says Deadeye, the sniper perk, effectively increases range and durability, but doesn't increase the damage they do anymore unless you were already hitting the damage falloff distances.
Let me hop on real quick and have a look.
I'm not against balance changes at all. It's just kind of an issue in my book if we end up having less to do as a result, or if it ends up too far on the other end.

Stack limit is definitely a massive improvement. Will really have to see regarding the perks and all though. We may end up needing to disable the stronger zombies from that one mod, but will have to see. I didn't have a chance to reset before the blood moon, so I'm not sure if my bad damage during it was due to that or not. Felt like my bullets were doing nothing to the strong guys even with hp ammo.

I'm off for now. I do definitely think we'll need to consider turning off that stronger zombie mod, because they take so many bullets to kill now. Fought a small hoard with a couple of them and my SMG nearly broke trying to go through them all. That said, I'll leave it up to you all to decide how you feel, because it could just be me.
@red drum I am sorry I've been so negative about it. I know part of it is just that I'm extremely cautious about changes that take away stuff.
The problem really is that we used that extraperk mod so long everyone was used to it
it made it untenable
it made zombies too easy and there was no challenge, so we had to add challenge, and then we relied on it more to the point of abuse, which meant there was no way to go from there
I think part of it is that we need to find some sort of middle ground. Particularly since while there was some stuff to abuse there, there was also a lot of nice small QoL things as well.
Also, while I might be in the minority on this, I never really had a problem with the zombies not being difficult. In some regards that's more fun to me than if they're just bullet sponges.
I could also remove the lootable zombies
and add the zombie hunter mod now that it's updated
it has it's own version of lootable zombies
but also perks and craftables
to give you something more to work towards
That could be worth checking into.
Honestly, one minor thing I'm missing right now is that I had 100% loot speed, so I didn't have to wait every time I opened a container. 
But regardless, I'll wait until you all play some and see what you think. Like I said, I know part of it is just that I'm naturally very skeptical of changes.

I went through so many bullets. I crafted full stacks of HP ammo thinking they'd last me a while. Then the hoard came and they didn't last a single night.

I get why only visual mods would work with the zombie hunter mod, since they change the way zombies react to being damaged with certain effects, so any "new" zombies wouldn't get that benefit.
Hmm. Give me a link to that elite zombie mod. I might be able to make a patch that would make them function the same. I'd have to look at the code for both mods a bit, but just glancing at the hunter mod, the way it works seems pretty straightforward.
I'll try to look into it a bit more tomorrow night, since I do need to go to bed soon because I've got to visit my family tomorrow, but honestly I don't think it'll be too hard to go off of the existing mod's code to add it in.
I lied. I haven't slept yet. @red drum No idea if it'll actually work, but in theory it might. Only way to find out is to test it. Should theoretically be able to install this like any other mod, and as long as it loads after the other two, it should work?

Basically just added the loot script from the hunter mod to add onto the elite mod's zombies. They should, if it works, all be able to be hit with the hunter mod knives to get the same loot a radiated zombie would have.
Again. If it actually works. I'm half asleep and I did an easy copy/paste with entity names replaced.
In theory it should even just work server side, but if it doesn't I guess try installing it client as well then test again.
Should work for all the elite zombies unlesss I missed one.

Like I said, you should just be able to put it in your mod folder like any other mod.
If it doesn't end up working, I'll delve deeper into things tomorrow, and see if i can find another way to patch it. I'm not 100% sure if mods can even patch each other or not with how the game handles them, so if it can't serve as a patch, I'd probably have to add in the code directly to the elite mod's entity list.

Also, couldn't sleep. My brain was stressing out too much about why that mod I made wasn't working.
Turns out, the name file for the mod couldn't have a space in it in one spot, or the whole thing just wouldn't load, so that's why it wouldn't work. I've fixed that now, so I could give Hexy the new version so elite enemies will be harvestable, but there is an error I want to fix first that isn't an actual issue, but it'll help if I fix it to bring it in line with the rest of the hunter mod.
And done. Hopefully for real this time. I tested it out in my own world, but @red drum here it is and I'll leave it to you to test it and make sure I didn't mistype at the last moment or something. Should be able to be loaded onto the server only without any issues, since it just uses data generated by the Elite mod and the Hunter mod.
The name has those two ZZs in front because load order isn't a thing unless they're lower in the list alphabetically. The way the mod works is just that it adds the loot scripts to the elite zombies, so now they can be cut up with the hunter mod blades for materials, and now their loot drops pull from that mod's setting for radiated zombies.
I did increase the drop rate of the two radiated materials from them when compared to normal radiated zombies by 5%, meaning they have a whopping 25% chance of the lower tier material and 20% of the higher one, instead of 20% and 15% respectively. Still low, but it's a little better to represent it being a harder enemy.
And now with that actually done, and off my mind, maybe I can finally sleep.

Yea, there's a lot going on with them. And any changes you make to one you have to duplicate across all of them.
I'm just editing out chunks of the groups
so that instead we just see less of them
but it looks like there's like 1000 rows for different game stages
if it breaks, I just replace with a backup

Then yea, just look up steel block in the menu, then you can use the shape method like normal. Just be careful with placement because you can't pick them up like you can building blocks.
Best way to do it is use building blocks to figure out what and where you want to place something, then replace them with the steel version.
You can craft bars straight up but they have so little health, but the default ones that spawn on map creation have a ton more

Yea, the knockdown on the veteran is super annoying honestly. I died at one point because I was at full health and literally couldn't move while it beat on me due to the knockdown animation. 
That's probably an issue with my patch. I thought I had put them all right, but let me double check it and fix it.
Alright. @red drum Here's the updated version that should fix that. Hexy will have to put it in the server's mod folder when no one is on to implement it though Aldi, so for now just be prepared to close the console whenever you kill a radiated fat elite zombie.
The problem is that whoever made the Elite mod shortened the names of the versions of some of the zombies he added, compared to the base game, so when I set up the loot lists some of them were slightly off. I thought I had fixed all of them, but I guess I missed one. That one in particular is called "zombieFatCop" in the game itself, not just "zombieCop".

Truly I have reached the peak of all my hopes and dreams. 
I did actually get asked to try and do a couple of other patches between Zombie Hunter and a few other mods, so I may look into it. Two of them seemed kind of "meh" in my book, but the last was basically just all the minibosses done by the guy who did the ELITE mod, and I think we use a couple of those don't we? If so I may look into that first.
Honestly, with how basic the code is for 7 days, I could probably also do mods for us in general if there's anything we wanted such as new gear, items, or zombies. Obviously I would just have to reuse existing assets unless someone wanted to do custom models, but it wouldn't be too hard to theoretically add our own variations of stuff in.

Yea, that seems kind of annoying.
By the way Aldi, if I'm reading this code right, the Veteran has 210,000 health.

And every time it triggers its knockdown effect, we've taken it past a 35k health threshold.
And regenerates what I believe may be 1500 hp per 2.5 seconds, though I could be reading that one wrong.
It's probably also why it'll trigger that knockdown back to back sometimes, if we take it below one of those thresholds, and then it regenerates back above it.

so that was anticlimactic
Were you close to the base when you did it? I only tried the lower version and was outside the base and it just didn't work, so I think maybe the landclaim block being nearby screws it up?
Also, which weapons? On my own world at one point while I was testing something I learned that lower ranked weapons didn't seem to be able to use it it seemed like.
