The clues pointing at the evening star pub were so slim that I totally thought it was misdirection or an artifact from the theme of the operation. It really caught me ny surprise when you left for the pub and dispatch chimed in.

Would be interested in knowing how much that was planned vs improvised.

Yea, probably just legacy code that printed out in game. Wasnt accounted for during the live event.

I believe if you choose not to send in the Reactivation Form you will stay at Red Clearance. This will give you access to any missions that are not taking place in the real world aka Live Ops. However, even with Live Ops there are online components you can help solve. Though some clues will be distributed via real-life channels and you will have to wait for other agents to share those clues.
