Since the game has random crashes from time to time, having autosave turned on by default would be good. If you don't like it ON by default, at least consider adding a popup question, either in the beginning of the tutorial or even the city creation menu. I don't want people to loose as much progress as I did.

Autosave crashes even more as far as I remember.

if oyu play modded, you can use SMC+

you can save options profiles for general game options, keybind settings and mod settings, which then get automatically loaded on every startup, regardless of your settings resetting due to a crash
