transport fever 2 is highly underrated for its road/rail tools

you can pretty accurately make smooth roads and train tracks that follow contours, you can in every other game it just looks way nicer and is also easier

yeah, you have a lot less control over cities tho, they grow automatically and you can't place buildings manually without mods, but there's some incredible builders who take things very far

it's very different from cs because you don't have services or any of that to worry about, and your only source of revenue is fares from your transport cendeavours

but I recommend steering the process and adding some mods otherwise the cities will become very boring with just square blocks everywhere with no consideration for terrain whatsoever

you can make road, rail, water- and air-based transport links

I play it mostly to make cool rail lines as it is much better for that than CS with curves and slopes and switches and connections and everything, in my opinion anyway

ur probs right, my experience would’ve been much more enjoyable with mods but regardless i didnt feel like losing the 51 dollars for the game
