Request: DnD style mapmaker

Any interest out there in making a standalone mod (a bit like “CSL Map View”) which would give us the ability to plan out our cities? I’m imagining something like a DnD mapmaker mod, but instead of drawing walls and adding monsters you’d be able to place modern symbols for services and infrastructure and have the ability to draw highways, subways, rail, park areas, etc. Ideally you would be able to export a map from CS2 directly into the mapmaker program and then mark it up as you want. A bonus would be the ability to then import your marked-up map back into CS2 as an overlay as you build your city…

You can do that now with Carto and QGIS, but it's a bit of a learning curve.

I happen to use QGIS a bit professionally and I would definitely say it has a much steeper learning curve than the kind of tool I have in mind…
