Constance is a fictional Welsh city, located in the south of the Fribourg region.
It is the largest city by the lake of the same name. It is also the capital of the borough of Colmar. Its historic center is landlocked on the southern shore of Lake Constance.
The climate is moderated by the presence of the lake which allows the cultivation of the vine (white wines).
An important city in the Middle Ages, it currently has 85,770 inhabitants.
