The city is lovely, but strategically placing bridges where they make the most sense would enhance it further. Rather than constructing bridges at the widest points of rivers, which engineers tend to avoid, building them at narrower points would be more beneficial.

Also, consider following the natural curvature of the coastline when designing roads. This approach will create a more organic look and prevent relying solely on a grid pattern.
