So if there is a trolly/tram, you’d like the option to have a center bus lane so all the pedestrians wait in the middle? Instead of trolly/tram passengers waiting in the middle and buses on the outside lane? That way if they need to transfer between the 2 transit systems it’s more convenient. I can understand that. But the second part, why do you want multi lane bus dedicated lanes? Is this a road with no cars, but multiple bus lines and different stops in different areas? In my opinion if you have overlapping bus lines, they will typically share the same stop so it’s a transfer location, and in that case you wouldn’t need buses to pass other buses, they’d be forced to wait on the bus in front of them whether there was another lane or not, so no need for multiple dedicated bus lanes going in the same direction. But maybe you have a build that’s will require it, please share your idea. So I can better understand.
