Piedmont (CA) and the metro area are all connected by the Piedmont Bay Area Metro, or (PBAM).
The downtown and Bayview, the largest suburb of Piedmont have light rail running on their largest streets.
BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) has also connected their orange line to run to Piedmont from San Jose, CA in this universe.
