I'm still wrapping my head around game dev and some of the basics elude me...I know the canvas is set to a 32x32 grid, but the sprite/tile sheet I have is coming out to 70x70 per tile. I also know it's a challenge to scale down with visual quality. However in the long run will I create problems for myself if I increase the grid to 70x70 or should I endeavor to bust the sprites down to 32x or 64x?

Nowadays there's not any real benefit to having sprite/tile sizes be powers of 2
People still do it because of old convention, but there's nothing wrong with 70x70 tiles
I have 80x80 tiles myself
you can change the grid size in the room editor too, to whatever you want
🙏🏾 prefect....Thank you! A lot of this feels so open ended because you can do what you want, but I'm always concerned about painting myself into a corner and having to start over or something silly. haha. Appreciate the info!
