#How accurate is fps_real anyway?

Is it normal to have sudden drops in FPS for no apparent reason? I'm running a simple project on Windows 7 with GM Version 2022.8.1.53, fps_real is 6000-7000 for a while, then takes a nosedive to 2000-3000, then goes right back up to over 6000 again.

fps real drops logarithmically, and sometimes without any noticeable reason. so yeah, best to avoid taking it too serious until its like 2 or 3 hundo
