AFAIK, right now we have to manually search "IJN" or "KM" or something similar to pull Navy cards, rather than just search for "Navy" type cards and have them all come up for deckbuilding.

when you search navy you'll get navy cards and cards with navy in the textbox

but yes there should be subtype searching
