Normal, not a bug
Covert units cannot be targeted by deployment effects or orders unless they say so specifically
No, covert is just special in that way
Yes it's a unit, but no it cannot be targeted by enemy orders
Or deployment effects
Until it is attacked by another unit to reveal it
Covert cannot be targeted by deployment effects
The only can only be flipped over by attacking them directly
and currently fight is not actually an attack (different rules of how units damage each and what not)
It's the same way you like won't be able to fight the king tiger

Since it can't be targeted by deployment effects if it's in the backline
Roger. Thanks for the feedback
I’m down for special needs
Even in the military
Covert troops are people too
Covert are already so weak.
If they can be target by deployment effect. Then why we need covert
Because you only get targeted by Fight (and it's still a fight) and some specific effects.
You can't get targeted by artillery, bombers, CMs , majority of orders, etc...
I think people missed the fact that Fight is its own effect like Retreat or other. Fight is weird because it ignores heavy armor but not passive effects. It also applies before any buff or debuff
👆
technically speaking they can also be flipped over by at least 2 cards: the polish Lublin fighter and Hidden Plans (as far as I know)
and by that german countermeasure
yeah though I wonder how much it is a "flip it over" vs. a "comes into play suppressed and not flipped over"
The whole point of Covert is that they can't
Oddly enough, it triggers healing effects

good find yeah
Tip of the spear also allows
healing effects like?

ah yes
Fiat G50
because it doesn't specify combat damage, but any damage
It's an odd interaction, but it's less problematic than it seems at the surface
basically anything is applied to fight if it DOESNT specify combat
heavy armor specifies combat therefore doesn't work
yeah passives don't specify combat specifically
yeah I hope it gets a bit more streamlined/clarified
currently hull down is a bit worse since part of the tanks' value (the HA) doesn't apply
It also just isn’t clear exactly
Not intuitive which is never great
Define healing, like, when this unit is attacked give it +1 +1 type of thing? Cause that's just a passive so yeah it makes sense.
Countermeasures also activate mostly after Fight, some like deployment effect Countermeasures work before it but yeah
Healing I mean adding HP to the HQ
Oh yeah I noticed that
Some units it makes sense like the Soviet one which converts damage received to HQ health. But yeah Fiat for example isn't really clear to me lol
no thay arent weak?
You never see a covert deck or even a single covert unit in FM
I think covert is a fun way to play. But they are so limited. All being cost3 meaning, you aren’t fast enough to compete with aggro and not bulk enough to hold the board with control deck
There’s some tech choices with them, but it’s few and far between
They are more gimmicky than anything else
