Your name has been noted is very polite imo. I use it because the other "poke" emotes sound passive aggressive. I think the most toxic ones are "Didn't think you had it in you" and "Achtung!"

Emotes is a weird topic. There is a bunch that mainly for shittalking, there is a a bunch that can be like that given the timing... But u could also have fun like when my opponent said "ur name have been noted" and I've answered "Marco?"
The issue here that cannot be fixed is as meaning is dependent on the pragmatics, I fail to see how we could have a bunch of slightly different emotes that r just nice greetings and such and couldn't be used as sassy remarks etc. So this issue could be mitigated, but not eradicated unless u just don't see emotes.
And that is a solid solution I see brought up a lot. Just let us set cut communication as a default so I won't have to see em when I'm really not in the mood for bs.
And yes, it might be nice to replace a couple to make things a bit more mild, but Kards emoting is already mild compared to some in-game chats. It does it's job: giving just a pinch of communication while keeping the most disgusting stuff out well enough.
