I understand 1939 is doing this to help maintain the gold economy, but it makes for less incentive to play
Personally, if I'm close to getting the 300 gold necessary for an Officer's pack, I'll extend my playing session, knowing a few wins will get me to my target. I'm sure it's the same for those getting close to a Base pack (100 gold). If I'm not close, I'll end my session early to wait for the 50 gold 1st win to reset the next day. Getting rid of the 10 gold for 3 wins, will definitely cut down on players playing the game, hence longer wait times.
Instead of scrapping it entirely, how about a compromise of either:
10 gold for only the FIRST 3 wins of the day (nothing after)
OR
10 gold for every 5 wins (instead of 3 wins)
It's just nice to have some incentive to keep playing beyond the 1st win (skirmish is messed up for this same reason as well)
If preserving the economy is important, I'd be all for removing the free card for visiting the Shop (seems unnecessary)
