I think there should be a ranked game mode where a couple players are put together into a tournament.
The most engaging part of Kards is winning against a difficult opponent, or creating a fun deck.
Currently, pvp is pretty low stakes, and the rewards are pretty minute.
Playing Kards feels like a grind every day, or a game to play on a toilet.
If we had a tournament mode, there could be more stakes - more build up - more emotion.
It would also be awesome to spectate enemies in the tournament - that would add a whole other layer to casual play: the premeditative strategies and preparation. In contrast, typical play in Kards is just taking the most successful common deck and running it until you reach the top, eg. after you find what works, you don't really have to think about preparation after that.
