But i've really studied this whole vocal classification thing and to be honest theres more to it than meets the eye

You'd typically be classified as a tenor

It just means you're not fully trained to sing the full tenor range

Yeah idk its very confusing a teacher once told me im bass, and my new teacher told me im a tenor, but I'm struggling with the higher notes and feel more comfortable in the baritone range. But i guess it's all about practice and technique after all. I'll just see myself as a mix between baritone and tenor for now 🧍‍♂️

Range is something you can always improve on, mainly on higher end, less likely on the lower extremes. But timbre, that’s something that you have biologically. You can try to sing like another voice type, but you won’t have the natural tone and timbre of it.
