So, I'm wanting to make music in the metal genre, currently I just want to do something small by myself, the problem I'm finding however is that the only things I have are an acoustic guitar, a violin and my voice. All of this surprisingly fits a style I'm wanting to try. The problem however is that I don't have any drums. Do yall think that it would be worth investing in a small drumkit? (Couldn't be big because I don't have much space for it) or would it be better to use an online source, if so, are there any sources you can suggest?

i’m not an expert on production but the specific genre i believe you’re talking about with the violins is metalcore or deathcore, i highly recommend listening to lorna shore if you want inspiration.

but a small drum pad will definitely be enough :)
