Hi, Im having problems with basic breathin

sooo, basically whenever I breathe naturally, whether its singing or not, comes very noisily and with much tension.
how do I eliminate this? Any help is greatly appreciated!
I can sing riff and runs nicely, but with this problem, it makes me really hard to sing one without tension.
