#A little help

Are you sure that you want to compile your own OpenMW instead of using precompiled release versions?
https://github.com/OpenMW/openmw/releases/
OpenMW is an open-source open-world RPG game engine that supports playing Morrowind. Main repo and issue tracker can be found here: https://gitlab.com/OpenMW/openmw/ - OpenMW/openmw
yea kind of cause i want to use MCP features like swift casting
Gotcha
I cant help with compiling though 🫠
What mcp features are you talking about?
There are not new MCP features hidden in openmw which are only made available upon building it yourself.
I am almost certain that you actually just want to download the latest .49 RC from that page.
That’s not built into any version of openmw, nor has it ever been.
There is a mod called QuickSpellCasting that can get close.
this build implements MCP features in OpenMW
my question is how to compile these files into a working game
ive already have the repo cloned but thats about it
This build of openmw is over eight years old
You simply don’t compile it into anything remotely useful
Because it is not
Fortunately the Lua api has progressed enough you don’t need to download random dead engine forks to do stuff like this.
Not even close. There is eight years worth of work here, and at least one of these features is actually in openmw now
Repo is of zero use at this point
just a quick question do you know if i can use these animations with quick spell casting
