I'm looking for folks who are talented with pixel art, storytelling, writing, as well as someone whose more familiar with GDevelop than I am.

I'm a beginner when it comes to game dev and pixel art, but I have an idea for a game that's story driven that's been on my mind for years.

I want the story to be lighthearted, but a little bit deep and I've been working on the game by myself for awhile now, but I don't know what to do with it in terms of gameplay or more accuretly, what should be the main hook of the game.

I want the gameplay to be something simple, but fun and interesting that makes sense for the game’s story. Maybe something that has to do with a enemy's emotions and how you, the player, can change their emotions whether it be good or bad, depending on your actions in the battle.

I've made multiple prototypes for it over the years, but nothing has really clicked for me yet.

If anyone's interested in helping out for the long-term, please let me know. This is just a passion project that I want to make.

I got some songs for the first part of my game done for now, but I'm more than happy to have another composer onboard

Awesome

I've been wanting to do something interesting for the gameplay of my game, but I'm not sure exactly how to do it properly.

What do you want to do

Thanks

But for gameplay, I was wondering if it was possible to have a lot of things happen within one scene instead of multiple scenes.

Example: I want an enemy to shoot fireballs at you, but you get an item that makes the enemy stop, and do something completely different like charge at you.

I've been trying to do something like this for just one scene instead of (scene 1: shoot fireballs) then (scene 2: charge at the player)

Like I said, I'm still a beginner, so when it comes to doing certain things, I may be a bit lost

#

Basically, I was looking for a way for a enemy in this case to have different... attack patterns... lack of a better word... and have all those patterns and items be within one GDevelop scene, as apposed to multiple

#

And when you get an item or something that makes the enemy change their strategy, I don't have to make multiple scenes, just for one fight,

Okay this can be done easily

@paper ember You wouldn't happen to know how to have an enemy in this case have different attack patterns and items be within one GDevelop scene, as apposed to multiple.

And when you get an item or something that makes the enemy change their strategy, I don't have to make multiple scenes, just for one fight?

I can do that that is easy @lucid shadow
