Most of this was working back in 2023 but I had to revert all unfinished functionalities and UI changes because of the last minute release date announcement. So I didn't have that much work to finish this release after Season 5 came out :)
Still, there might be a few bugs, as common for software updates with numerous new features. Do hesitate to contact me if you find weird things or bugs, My only tester has 5 kids so I try not to disturb him too much.
None of your settings or presets should be lost (except custom caps), I worked hard to make sure of that. If you lose settings anyways, sorry I messed up.

- MAJOR overhaul of the mod that took almost a year to do since the last build. It's not perfect, some stuff is still in development - but it's about time I make this version stable & massively revised, again.
WARNING - this update has reset your MCR settings to alleviate issues encountered during play testing due to the save game overhaul! This means that you will need to customize your experience once again.
I remade nearly the whole mod from the ground up (nearly a year in the making) using new coding practices for better stability, performance, feature creation for future content. It's also a helluva lot more impressive & immersive. This mod continues to be a WIP though & relies heavily on feedback.

Added over 30 new ambient tracks!
Fixed the chances given to certain songs to play so all of them can be heard more consistently now (for example, while Cheshyre has a lot of songs in the extraction sequence, most of the songs used to not play as the chances were in the favor of other artists that have fewer tracks. Just a simple mistake on my part).
Changed the random parameters to be truly random when selecting a track (experimental change, might reverse in the future).
Tried my best to balance the volume of a lot of songs to now be more in line with one another. The most problematic track types were the ambient and the extraction ones (some of them, like Pit of the Maimed, were too quiet, and others, like most of the Locknar ones, were a bit too loud...), but now everything should overall be more consistent!

The Nemesis MKII has appeared to have been downgraded in terms of speed. The Rivals appear to be losing more credits the longer they stay at war with us and the horrors of Hoxxes! They've diverted their funding towards fortifying their data vaults with Assault Bots instead...

GRAVE ROBBERY:
The more artifacts we extract from Hoxxes, the weaker the supernatural forces of the Burial Grounds become. Ghosts have a greater distance to spawn and have an increased delay of 2 minutes per wave.
SCREAM OF DEATH:
The Deeptora have managed to better articulate themselves around the vocal structures of Grabber carcasses. Their screams of torment and peril have become louder!
EXPERIMENTAL REWORK:

Primarily a bug fix patch but has some new additions & tweaks.
- Fixed Expedited Drywash not being able to be played due to some experimental code that I left enabled when trying to make the drop pod descend sooner.
- Fixed the Nemesis dropping infinite bomb barrages if the rework for it was disabled & infinite duration ragdolls were enabled.
- Fixed a driller armor set being seen in Chimera Formation, this was used as a size reference for the ice crystal & was not intended to be shipped. It is now editor only.
- Fixed the pickaxe secondary objective not destroying the pickaxe after being picked up as well as fixed the body disappearing after the pickaxe was removed.
- Added a rework for Glyphid Crassus Detonators; they now produce gold at bomblet locations & smaller compressed gold chunks to help ease the grind but still allows Pots Of Gold to help a fair bit.

I have taken all of the tracks and put them under the "Loudness Normalization" effect in order to get them all at roughly the same volume. This is both great for me (I don't have to fiddle with volumes in Unreal Engine 4) and great for you because you can safely alter the in-game music slider as much as you want with basically no risk of getting your ears blasted by a random track. I re-downloaded every single file under MP3 and instead of using Audacity's "Loudness Normalizer" used MP3Gain to set equal volumes. THIS will be the proper method moving forward as it is far more consistent than Audacity's option.
FILE SIZE OPTIMIZATION
I cut the file size down by about 80MB. Do not ask why I kept the 30 MINUTE long cut of Roller Mobster in my mod for so long, because I have no answer to the stupidity...

Attempt to fix randomization issues, for songs with multiple cues (Ambience, Escape, Normal Wave and Looping Wave) the first cue still has every song, and every following cue has songs split between them. The main issue was that even if different cues were being selected, since every cue was identical the same songs were getting chosen every time. This change should hopefully make the songs more random.
Next update will have new songs.

- lowered the average volume of the songs by roughly 40%
- changed the audio cue system in an attempt to mitigate the small delay between intro and loop.
in case anybody reads this, i will now give context to the "if you know, you know" picture.
in unreal engine, music is handled with this thing called "cue."
it does not support something as basic as adding looping points, so i had to cut every song in 2 pieces, a beginning and a loop.
i then played them both at the same time, with a delay on the looping part of the same length as the intro.
this caused problems with pitch changes and pauses.
if a bulk detonator exploded near you or if you got downed the music would play at a lower pitch which messed up the delay timer, as did pausing the game in singleplayer.
i replaced the delay mixer with the concatenate node which automatically plays the beginning and loop back to back, but this intruduced a small gap between the opening and the loop playing.
i felt this gap was worth it because the previous problem was
