Verified mods are only on your side, he would need to also install the mod to hear the same thing. Check the pinned messages for an explanation of how the different mod categories work.
Nope, that's just a cheater. The mods are purposely categorized to keep the normal gameplay in line.
Only thing you can really do is kick players like that and move on. I've only seen like one leaf lover like that in my 1000+ hours.

does having audio/visual mods decrease the money earned from missions?

How exactly would a strictly audio/visual mod affect mission payout and rewards? These two are different and completely unrelated categories of mods. All mods that change mission payouts are sent into Approved/Sandbox depending on the changes' severity.

Remove All Particles (or the alternate version of it that retains weapon/tool/Bosco particles) and Instant Ragdoll could be quite useful if you want to optimize the game while sacrificing quite a fair bit of visuals.

I have a question, after restarting the game, the mod hub 0.2 does not work. is anyone experiencing this problem? I deleted and installed the mod 5 times in total and the problem was not resolved.

Best place to ask for help is the modding discord. Mod hub does work fine but mod support has trouble loading mods sometimes. Its being worked on. Some mods make the problem worst, best thing to do is eliminate 1 mod at a time from your list and see if that helps.

you can try installing DRGLib, it has a failsafe attached to it that seems to help, but otherwise you sorta just have to wait for it to get fixxed on modio's end

I've now for real started my work on the kobold voice pack mod.
I'm shocked to see that there is a total of 3,347 lines total... And I'm gonna do them all!... eventually.
The lines that I had shown previously were just little tests, I have now done my best to edit the audio and keep them at the similar format and decibel level as the originals.
So far all I've done is most of the Molly and Bosco callouts.
I'm still debating on whether or not to stick with the cheer "Rock and Stone!" or replace it for something else with the kobolds (as much as it pains me) at first I thought "Bold like kobolds!" But I've been getting other suggestions such as "gold and scales!" which could also be said as "golden scales!" or even "gold 'n' scales!" And I can see some other potential lines for it like "The golden scale, live to tell the tale!" or "whale you lot, give me GOLD 'N' SCALE!"
Well, I'll have plenty of time to ponder this while I record the other lines.
Feel free to pitch in any suggestions.
For now, here is me recording some generic kill lines... And I think I went a bit too far this time, I'm gonna have a weak voice tomorrow... worth it! XD

A question about the "mod hub": A few days ago my mod hub was opening on the left of the screen with a key that I could rebind, I was able to modify like the weapon heat crosshair mod and such, and now it's at the bottom and hardbound to H (which is one of my movement key), any idea what changed in the last few days and if I can at least rebind it ?
weapon heat cross hairs i believe recently moved from DRGLib to ModHub for its settings pages, DRGLib settings pages i believe were removed and the use of ModHub for that function is encouraged instead, the ModHub keybinding has been discussed an i am uncertain whether a customizable ModHub keybind is planned -- @ebon juniper can elaborate/confirm

question what is a good vanilla small quality of life mods worth getting?

more like bigger zoom on a terrain map or third person perspective
Live mission stat tracker, crosshair heat indicator, platform effect indicator, and platform placement preview are ones i use
better spectator & 10 waypoints also worth a mention imo

Manually installing mods from anywhere else other than Mod.io restricts you to Sandbox solo only because nobody is able to connect to a lobby with such mods. There are certain restrictions in the mod support system, and that's one of them.

There's a very common problem of BPMM not loading which makes mods that are dependent on it not work.
Happens with most natively spawned mods.
DRGLib should have a fix for that issue by forcing the native spawn again, right?
Support Pods is my first and oldest blueprint mod so it is very jank and not done well but there should be little to no reason for it to stop working outside of loading into the rig and the player controller ID being changed.
I will be remaking the mod from scratch after I finish my current mod.
Yes, Grey, but it does have some problems with certain setups with native spawning.

The mod creator quit modding DRG so it would have to be remade. I haven't heard of a replacement mod yet.

Don't know if I the only one with this problem but the "Remove all Particles But WeaponsNTools for DRG" stopped working for me when I downgrades to Win10 (Previous OS was Win11). Tried reinstalling the mod and it doesnt work. :(
mhh guys I need help I joined a server, my game crashed and when I load the game again it crashes again, it says my files are corrupted, I verified them and I have the same issue, is there a way to delete mods without being ingame?
If you go to the run options on the game and put -disablemodding it should start it without mods

white red sugar will look a lot like the glowing crystals in the salt biome.
white nitra should be fine, it'll just look like sharkteeth sticking out of the wall.
@silver void please advise on what color you want just red sugar or just nitra. it can be any color.
please keep in mind though, if the color matches the color of any existing biome's walls or features, you may still get misled by color.
however, i can re-color other minerals if you want red sugar to look like umanite. for example, umanite doesnt spawn in the sand biome, so making it orange would be perfectly viable in all the other biomes.

i installed the danger, darkness, barrels mod to look at it, decided to disable and unsubscribe yet some assets are still barrels in my game. did i do something wrong?
"Some assets" as in what? Not everything is changed to barrels, I have a list of things that it should change.
If things I have listed are not being changed, make sure the mod is enabled in your mod list and restarting your game.

I think about problem seeing color red, you can try white because I assume it's easier to see than other color?
Actually I think about blue because I kinda like blue (light blue so it's easier to see in the cave)

@vagrant wren @silver void I'm going to combine your requests and make blue sugar and orange nitra. Those two colors are the easiest to see for the most common types of colorblindness. The purple and green mods were requested specifically btw hence my questioning. Thanks for input I will put it together later today

It should be compatible, Brighter Resources just affects the shimmer IIRC. I use that mod too and I have not had any inconsistencies

Pink's not popular, it's often confused with gray which aint great when two biomes have gray walls

It's hard for me to balance, because I'm getting advise to put colors on the opposite sides of a color wheel together
Orange and blue, or red and cyan, or green and purple, but green and red are common colorblindnesses
But orange looks like gold.
I have a few more ideas. Nitra has multiple colors zones. I could try mixing orange and blue together on nitra.
It'd stand out from gold because gold is all one color
The devs had a similar thought with bismor and croppa. They have dueling color schemes
If that fails, I'll just make light blue nitra and dark blue sugar.

Twitch integration is available through the Spawn Menu mod. There's a channel dedicated to setting it up in the modding Discord, but I think it's currently in a bit of a rework in preparation for the next season.

@rich oriole do these nitra/sugar mods require texture changes or just value changes? Because if you could make it configurable... you could have a color picker.
I don't know how to make it configurable, that's way above my skill level.
Nitra has a file for the vein material and a file for the chunk (the dropped part if bosco mines for you). Red Sugar has a file for the chunk, the crystal material, the light in the crystal, and a 4th one that I'm not sure what it does.
material files require 4 different values, like a range of colors. For example for nitra I made it a burnt orange and then put 3 additional shades that varied 10% from the previous shade
I've been meaning to get into modding. If you give me details about how you're changing it, maybe I can take care of the scripting side.

There's a tool called Umodel that will allow you to open up and extract models from the game. It's available among the modding tools available in the DRG Modding Discord in #fan-communities.
That will yield you .psk files that you can import into Blender using a plugin. The process is pretty straight forward once you set everything up. I think the general guide/model replacement guide will have a better tutorial of what to do.

I have a question: i want to learn how to make mods, not just for DRG but modding other games too. Where do i start? How would I do it? Im assuming some games are significantly easier than others to mod but i have no idea where to even start.
Finally finished recording all 132 lines in the laserpointer folder for the Kobold voice mod.
I think there's just a few more folders left that are all organized, and then it's on to the rest of the files that are bundled in one with the date they were released.
Really hope my delivery on some of these lines is good.

Had 60 mods installed yesterday, logged in today and noticed that all of my mods have been uninstalled somehow. I'm still subscribed to them (so it should technically sync up with mod.io) but only 4 have been successfully reinstalled. Que?
Edit: deleting the Mod.io folder as suggested in the Mod Troubleshooting Guide did the trick.

You MIGHT be looking for something like 'Mission Control' ? Its kinda like a dungeonmaster but has a free camera fly around mode from what I could tell.
Also, if you have an Nvidia card, you can use Ansel to fly around and take screenshots. It's not the best but it definitely works. I think the hotkey is alt+f2 or similar to open the menu for that.
I had an odd question how do I pull pickaxe models from the game and put them into an stl file (was looking to get a 3d printer and wanted to print a custom pickaxe using different parts from different pickaxe sets)

In the modding Discord (linked in #fan-communities) there's a tool called Umodel that will let you extract files from the game, models will be in a PSK file format. Then you can use a Blender plugin to bring the models in and export them as whatever you need, like STLs. The general modding and model replacement guides in the modding Discord explain the process.
It's a little bit of effort to get things setup but the process should be pretty straightforward.
If you wanna try it yourself and get stuck, feel free to ask for help in the modding Discord or hit me up as I've worked with the models from the game a lot recently.
So would it extract a pickaxe part or a whole custom model are there any limitations?
Or would I just have to pull the specific parts I want and then combine shells?

The pickaxe parts are all separate, so you'd have to extract each one and can combine/play with them in blender.
I have not streamed myself modding before but I was considering doing something like that eventually if people were interested.
I would love to see how it is done one of these days by someone who has worked with the software before

The technology... is finally here. Remapping Dash and HB to proper controls is gonna be the first thing I do when I get the mod. That said, have you got any plans to do the same for Berserker (and any other perks with custom activation conditions if there are left)?

"I do not use Berserker because it activates when I don't want it to" is a thing I've heard often.

anyone else have the issue of mods just being disabled when you start the game? i only use verified mods and sometimes theyll just be disabled when starting, with no notification. its usually the most important (heat crosshair) too.

I've been craving for a lobby expander option or mod for so long and I expect I'm not the only one. What is the possibility or (atleast) difficulty of expanding a game's lobby manually? And is there already a way to do so?

Most are changeable during mission, the section for stationary enemies, those are spawned with the cave gen, aren't. There's tooltips saying as much tho.
Pick up DRGLib if you haven't already. It has a failstate checker which will retry loading mods that sometimes fail to load correctly (and disable, the effect you are seeing)
Its my understanding that it will effect NEWLY spawned mobs.. but ones that already exist/are spawned it will not change.

Friday/Saturday? -- Reason I ask is; there was an update to both mods.. and there is this odd disabling effect that occurs because the mod sees dependencies that aren't there due to updates, and therefor autodisables... had this occur to me on Fri night I think it was.
I guess what Im asking is; is this a consistent issue, or is it occuring when there are mod updates?

googling let me to a reddit thread which said to delete "C:\Users\ username \AppData\Local\mod.io" which was somehow created some months ago (might be related to the date i joined the union) after renaming the folder i started the game again and the mods started to load```
the json files seem straight forward enough for me to edit them to my liking (basically just double or triple enemy amount on haz2/1) i will look into it the coming days; hope i dont delete a hazard level or something.
Custom Difficulty won't permanently change any hazards. It will return to normal when you disable the mod.
havent loaded that one yet, does it alter preexisting ones? or add some? also you are the creator it seems. thank you so very much for making great games even better!
It replaces hazard 5, which is commonly replaced by most difficulty mods. I could technically create a new hazard, but then it wouldn't show up in the server list for others to join. And thanks, happy to see others getting use out of my mods. :)
okay so it seems like your mod overrides the preset (e.g. empty for haz 5)
if my assumption is correct i can load in haz2 and make changes to the "EnemyCountModifier" (4 variables correspond to the amount of dwarves would be my guess)
now other difficulties on the github page also change the enemy cap, can i keep it as is or should i make changes there aswell? (if i dont plan to play on higher than haz5 enemies)
are there other paramters i should adjust to make an easy but more exciting round? (i dont get the weight and range yet)
Anyone know if there is a mod that makes enemies have an outline/high contrast? My friend has visual impairment(he sees everything blurry) and trouble playing the game at higher than haz2. Yet he really enjoys it and wants the excitement of haz3. The main problem he has is not seeing the difference between the normal grunts and the background. Everything with a weak spot is easy for him to see.
holy shit, this was close to the most fun i had in drg (edit #1 beeing beating the edd on merit and #2 playing anything with friends)
All vanilla difficulties (haz1-5) have an enemy/swarmer cap of 60 enemies. If you are increasing the enemy count beyond hazard 5 it is recommended that you increase the enemy cap.
Swarm Control (Swarm Size Control) is the approved mod you are looking for; Its made by the same person who made Starship troopers mod. Be sure to pick up a corresponding enemy cap mod (Higher enemy cap - I think is the name)
ok so I haven't modded DRG in a long time- there used to be somehting called 'absurdly long missions', but I can't find that anywhere on the .io

Swarm Control and Custom Difficulty are quite similar and can both accomplish Hazard2 with higher enemy count. Custom Difficulty forgoes a pretty interface to expose all the nitty-gritty details in the hazard file (plus many values outside of it) whereas Swarm Control aims to make it simple to adjust common values on the fly with just sliders.
So, it seems I had a very interesting Swarm Control situation. I'm 100% certain something with SC just flat out broke, I only had the slider at 3.0x.
Salvage Mission, Golden Bugs. I see first mini-mule, go to fix it up, boom, 50 Mactera Spawn, followed by 50 more Mactera Spawn. A bit intense, but I satchel them. Okay, now I can go fix t-
100+ Exploders. The ground below is now just solid gold. I proceed onwards, delete two Brood Nexi, and it DOES NOT STOP spraying swarmers all over the place. 20 at a time, and I swear there were like 300 or more, maybe 500 in totality before it stopped, spraying gold all the while. And then, infinite detonators exploding somewhere below me. This continued until the game went to slideshow, and I clipped out of the level.
I still made 5K credits, just because I collected well over 1K gold before I fell out of the map due to 1 fps.
Is it possible for anyone to share a modding template to plug and play our own music into the game? My buds and I have endless playlists we’d love to be able to build and share with one another/everyone! (Very unfamiliar with how to code mods but am willing to learn! :))
That.. sounds like some other combination of issues.. and note; the sliders work with eachother... So if you set 3x main control and 3x disruptive enemy pool, you actually get 6x.
Note; every time you unbury a leg to repair a minimule, you get a cohort (ninja wave) spawn. So if you broke 3 out really fast and started repairing, thats why you got so much mactera.
Disruptive enemy pool does not really increase number of enemies, but determines how many disruptive enemies are pulled from pool of disruptive enemies and added to the enemy pool.
For each wave, the game selects enemies from the enemy pool to spawn.
So I wanted to install a mod from the client's modding option, but the privacy policy seems rather user unfriendly with how much data it's allowed to collect, is this the case?
Nope that was not the case. In fact it started as I scanned for legs. The other sliders were 1.5x. I don't think that explains producing enough exploders to tank my computer and clip me through the ground.
Just finished updating V0.4 of the kobold mod with a new DSP setting, and Resupply, ammo, Explosive, and Tool-handling lines are now all dubbed.
One step closer to finishing all the base lines, then it's on to all of the later added lines as the game got updated.

after some tweaking and discussion with friends: haz3 enemies and enemycount at 1.5 (haz3 default is .5) seems fun while not overwhelming (cap doubled for enemies), will investigate further and only played 3 rounds ( for myself it is kinda stressfull so i will stay at lower haz combined with lower count probably)

I do not think that'd be very straight forward to implement as the assets for borders are not class specific. But it's definitely a neat idea.
Was this recently? (lets say 4days+ ago) -- the reason I ask is.. there WAS a bug where if you were like 1.99 instead of 2, it would have strange behaviors... so if you weren't exactly on an integer that could be what happened. It should be fixed now per NBC (mod author)

You could probably delete the modhub mod save file, or mayhaps there is a better way. Let me see if I can find the path for the modhub mod save. Note just because I’m talking about deleting saves, do not accidentally delete the actual game progress save file by mistake.

(with the game closed) then start the game up again, i think itll regenerate a new one with the default "h" for you -- if something goes wrong restore that backup to put it back to how it was

Saw a streamer playing the mission control mod but it seems like it would work a lot better if they could have a 5 player lobby for a 4 man team versus the mission control player
No. Steamworks player limit can't be bypassed with mods.
Not gonna lie, the more I play Swarm Control, the more I wish there was a slider for Bulk Detonators. Enjoy most of it, but it makes Escort Duty an instant

Yeah but there's no doubt that Swarm Control is a lot easier to get into.

For example, I wouldn't know how to get a list of all the names of the enemies, inside the code. The github page for custom difficulty repositories only names a few common ones in the schema page.

how does modifier for changing stationary and standing enemies work? Is it like multiplicative / exponential / whatever else / unknown?
I set stat enemies to 5 and got room filled to brim with leeches and spitballers, like literally 30-40 of first and 60+ of second
I think it might be multiplicative, it stacks with the Starship troopers multiplier
I was expecting it to be such too, but for room to have 60+ spitballers on *5, it needs to have at least 12 by default
didnt have 12 in a room of medium size even in most toxic edds / egg hunts
I found out what was wrong, the DRG Lib mod forced to mods to load in their required terminals

Can you clarify this statement; was DRGLib causing a problem? It does have failsafe which forces mods which fail to load to try again (its usually very helpful)
Everything it does is multiplicative. This includes within itself (the master control bar, eg; the top most slider).
So if you have a 5x main modifier, and a 5x stationary enemy pool modifier, and you run starship troopers on top of that.. You'll effectively be playing 5x5x2 = 20x 50x stationary mobs.
Try grabbing DRGLib if you haven't already. It runs a failsafe check which forces mods which fail to load to try again (and usually succeeds)

I have read their tweet... but they're not going to be on vacation for months and months are they? This is the first time there's been an issue with morkite amount in the 5 months I've played, so rushing to make a mod for it seems silly to me.
If someone wants to make a mod for it then by all means, go ahead, but since the devs have acknowledged that they won't have time to fix it "right now" it does imply that they are going to fix it.
The issue will resolve itself on deep dive reset anyway. This was a one in a million fluke based in map gen

Uh..anything that works. So far I've found success with the 'starship troopers Gunner' mod
There's a '<class> for starship troopers' set of mods currently in sandbox (they'll work till the 28th), they are sandbox because they don't list a dependency on a difficulty mod... but the author is incommunicado. They might be what you're looking for... but yea, your best bet for 'mods that buff classes for huge swarms' will be in the sandbox section/filter for now.

Depends what you mean by lose access?
You will not automatically carry over 'subscriptions' to mods to a new account I would assume... but the mods are still there and can be re-subscribed to with a new account.
I believe there is more information about this on the MODDING DRG discord (There is a specific textchannel set in that discord for twitch integration stuff). I believe there is a link to this discord in #fan-communities -- Please note; its possible this is paused in preperation for the big update hitting 4/28.. I only lightly read that section and that was the impression I was left with. But I could be wrong so definitely take a look.

I will not carry over subscriptions on the account, but can the game download mods from an older account if i'm logged in with a new one? Got an impression that it could.
We're kinda saying the same thing in different ways; ANY new account can subscribe to existing mods and download them. By making a new account, you simply have to find each mod you want and resubscribe to it.
My current account downloads even deleted mods so i'm hoping that the new one won't.
You cannot download older version of a mod from the mod website AFAIK. its part of its method of keeping everything up to date (if you were asking about older versions)

if you have 2 modio accounts, you should be able to merge them into a single one, it may be easier to just resubscribe as mentioned above though -- i had to merge mine because of some login issues with the steam overlay and both accounts being attached to the same email address

ah, so.. My assumption is you are subscribed to a bunch of older mods, specifically ones that require BPMM.
BPMM is .. depreciated/abandoned. and WILL NOT WORK starting 4/28, at all. Period.
Which is why a majority of those mods are now hidden (to prevent people from getting them now)
That mod was hidden for a while now.
I assume they will be deleted after 4/28 (to prevent people who haven't played in a bit from logging in with the mod and crashing their game
So.. at this point regarding your problem; Like Kumae said above; either you'll have to somehow merge the mod(dot)io accounts, or no, you won't get access to hidden mods on a new account.
((I am no help regarding merging accounts.. I've not had to do that or even hear about it till just now.

I highly recommend not trying to use old hidden mods, especially ones reliant on BPMM.

In the season 2 update I think there are mod loadouts which may achieve what you're looking for
I believe mod loadouts simply let you quickly enable/disable a group of mods. I don't see why they would influence load order (but I haven't tested)

If he wants features from two different mods, but part of them conflict with each other, the only way to resolve that is to remake one or both of the mods to not conflict AFAIK.
I believe mods load order is determined by their mod ID on mod.io. Mods with lower IDs are loaded first and can be overwritten by mods with higher IDs.
The game can't dynamically resolve two mods editing the same file and merge their changes into one avoiding conflicts. UE assets just don't work like that afaik.

Besides the mods I have in this pack, the other mods that help with FPS are:
- Instant/Shorter Ragdoll Duration (note: host has to have this for it to work; otherwise, this works if host also has the mod or you host yourself/do solo missions)
- No Camera Shake

Is there any difference in Auto-Verified and Verified mods? As filtering just Verified dont show any auto Verified ones.

Auto-Verified and Verified are literally the same thing. The (meaningless) distinction came from the automatic verification system the devs set up - anything that goes through is auto-verified immediately while Verified mods have either been added before that system came or haven't passed the automation due to certain specifics in their changes but were then added to Verified category manually by moderators.
Unknown doesn't truly exist as a category. Run the game with those mods so the mod support system syncs them up to either Verified, Approved or Sandbox. Approved/Sandbox mods disable achievements, Sandbox requires a new save file to even run.

Auto verified means the mod author has determined themselves that the mod should be placed in the Verified category. Verified means that the developers and/or modio team has reviewed the mod and determined it to be fit for verified.

Why am I seeing over 100 additional mods in the autoverified filter if there isn't a difference?
auto-verified doesn't need to be manually approved
those mods alter specific files, the game sees only those files are altered, it gets verified automatically.
My understanding is that there isn't a difference in how the game treats the mods (they're all verified at the end of the day) but they are tagged separately on the modio side of things depending on the process that marked them as verified (either manually or automatically) so you'd have to check both tags to see everything that's actually treated as "verified".
err, sorry there appears to be some confusion here; I have no concern about how the game handles them. (They are verified, thats fine!)
The issue is that finding them in the first place; there are 259 mods that show up under verified filter, and 374 that show up under auto-verified filter.
So any user that uses the default interface to filter for verified mods is not seeing ~110 mods?

Basically there appears to be some issue in how the website is showing mods based on the verified filter and NOT correctly showing 'some' mods that are autoverified.
Auto-Verified and Verified are two distinct flags on mod.io, so the filters are working as intended, even if unintuitive.

It seems to sometimes happen with the modio website; try having all the mods pre-installed and enabled. Highly recommend DRGLib as well (even if nothing requires it) for its failsafe system which helps mods load if they fail to the first time.

I've been having trouble finding the specific memory addresses to change, and I end up changing a bunch of extra ones that are wrong and causes my game to crash lol

And if you're talkin about modifying your save or something to unlock things, we don't do that here. All of the goodies are gonna be moved to being unlocked by other means so they're not disappearing and you'll still be able to get everything once season 02 drops.

Verified mods do not have any effect on anyone else, do not flag your game as 'approved' or 'sandbox'. You are perfectly fine using any verified mod at any time.

err, that's an audio only, so it should be verified (or auto-verified), which is effectively the same thing ingame (it screws with filtering to find mods tho on the modio interface.)

basically; its POSSIBLE I'm wrong, you'll get a popup requiring a sandbox save if so, which you can cancel/click no out of. OR, you'll see it as approved in your ingame list. But as long as its audio only, it should be verified.

Hey i tried installing my first mods earlier, but DRG wasnt syncing with modio, so I tried resetting my currentmodiouserid in FSD\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\gameusersettings and now its stuck fetching terms of use

Ya can encourage them to be more generous with the Scout's flare gun, or check out one of the mods that increases the brightness of flashlights or something.

It's from my mod, Remove Decals. How I made the mod is by removing the textures for the decals. Unfortunately the game engine has a default texture that replaces removed textures for some decals, and it just so happens to be that the most of the splats in the spacerig is one of these decals.

With season 02 we have updated the engine of the game - this unfortunately means that most of the mods currently on mod.io will break (yes - even the cosmetic ones).
So do not be alarmed if the games crashes when you try to launch the new update.
If your game have not yet updated I would recommend that you uninstall the mods you currently have or at least enable "Auto disable outdated mods" in the modding menu.
Launching the game with "-disablemodding" in launch options the first time you launch the game, might also prevent crashing - since it will uninstall all the mods you currently have installed.
After launching once with "disablemodding" - remove it from the launch options and go into the game and unsubscribe from the mods that are not up to date with Season 02.
It is up to the modders to update the mods and this might take some time, so please have patience.

If you mean the backups that the game creates - in the cloud and locally - then no, they will still work 🙂

Modders will usually update version number - you can enable "auto-disable outdated mods" ingame too.

I'm having a bit of an issue. I have two mods installed - Fabulous Molly and Blueprint Mod Manager - that I can't uninstall from my game. I also can't unsubscribe from them on the mod.io, as they don't seem to exist anymore.
Is there a directory I can go to where I can forcefully rid my game of those mods? Because I think they're causing some crashes on startup.

Well i can tell you how to remove all mods from your computer: You can start by going to the mod.io page in browser and unsubscribe to the mods- then go to the mod.io folders on your computer and delete them - they will be located in C:/users/public and c:/users/YOURNAME/Appdata/local (notice appdata is a hidden folder - so you need to enable "view hidden folders" to see it) - then launch the game with "-disablemodding" in launch options - close it and open the game without the launch option.
Why do you want to do this? because you want to subscribe to mods that are not yet updated to current version?

Hello, not sure where to post this (please tell me if there is a channel it does belong in)
I purchased the game, and my first time playing was with a friend, who had me install 2 mods in order to join their game. Since it was my first time ever playing, I had no idea about any of the mod stuff nor how it would affect my in-game progression.
The mods were 5x Flashlight Range and Karl Class. I did not make use of Karl Class.
After about 12 hours of playing solo games, I decided I was ready to try joining some matches, only to find that I couldn’t join any because the save I was playing in the whole time was in Sandbox mode.
I tried using that DRG Save Editor to edit my main save to have the progress I made, with no luck, and then ended up blowing up the Sandbox save while trying other ways of converting it to a non-Sandbox save. I really don’t want to have to grind the 12 or so hours again. Is there some way to create a non-Sandbox save file with some set level of progression?
I can provide a screenshot from the DRG Save Editor showing all the progress I had made before accidentally corrupting the save… Thank you!
if you click on "Restore Save" in the save menu can you at least get your sandbox save back?

Did you keep playing with the mod activated? because the mod should prompt you to change save when you launch the game with no sandbox mods activated?
Should be noted that using a savegame editor is considered cheating - and if you corrupt your save by using one, please don't ping us to help you fix it - because we won't.
Try clicking "Manage mods" and wait a bit then close the browser window - and see if that triggers the apply prompt. You can also try to unsubsribe and resubscribe to the mod. Edit: manage mods not mage mods - tho mage mods would be cool

I have tried deleting Mod Hub settings from Deep Rock Galactic\FSD\Saved\SaveGames\Mods\ModHub but not even that worked
Its the new mod presets, it means its saved in loadout A which is selected by default
Try clicking loadout b, you should switch to a set with no active mods. Clicking A again will switch you back

Yeah, they are outdated engine builds and files anyways. That error is basically saying "Hey, this pak file was made for UE 4.25 and you are using UE 4.27, so this crashed the game".

This is hex editing, and it's one of the easiest mod types possible. Just gotta know which file and parameters to tweak.

mod.io is run through a web browser with your account linked to your steam account. It runs just fine when playing through proton.
How can i replace some of the music with my own?
there's a tutorial in the modding server, linked in #fan-communities . basic idea: get unreal engine 4.27.2, learn what the music you wanna replace is and where it is, and then make the same folder structure in unreal, make your music the same name as the music you're replacing, then package it and pack it. tutorial explains it in detail

Get Mod Hub instead. BPMM hasn't survived the transition to UE 4.27 and won't be maintained because the original author has left the community.
