Buddies in my discord have dubbed them "nightmare rooms" they can only happen on Morkite/Refinery/Drill missions. And if you want to know it is one. That black background is one of the dead giveaways

A few other indicators would also be a large load screen time. Lag upon opening your map. A scouts flare not making the shot across the room itself. And those cylindrical shapes strudled about the entirety of the generation.

My advice with the EDD is going two gunners and two engineers. I’d say it went well considering the highest down count was 5 for one person and we did it our first try. Having shields whenever you need them is amazing

the last mission is just a bit bs because it drills trough an egg which overlaps with the dozer swarm, in a haz 5.5 shield disruption on magma core. it's pretty much all the bad things at once.
you can cheese it if you know the situation ahead, by drilling to and getting the egg out before you even start the dozer.
