There is a cube-shaped terminal next to each machine event. You activate it, and then the machine offers to start the event (by pushing 4 buttons on it). If you successfully finish the task before time runs out, the same cube-shaped terminal will offer you to pay 1 blank matrix core to get one of 3 randomly chosen weapon overclocks or cosmetics
You can get blank matrix cores by doing the Weekly Core Hunt assignments or Deep Dives (regular or Elite)

depends what OCs you have, face melter I use this one. but on tier 3, fuel flow is for damage, but the 75+ ammo extra ammo is good too.

i found more success with that clean ammo oc on the flamer with all damage mods, leaves it at like 15 dmg per particle with 450 total ammo plus you dont get your speed halved while firing

I've also got the green sticky flames. kinda low ammo count tho, could trade tier 2 sticky flames for extra heat/set on fire faster, or on t4 for more ammo. I think fear and explosion only happens when you're directly holding m1 so I usually don't take them. if it applied fear to sticky flames, I'd go heat and watch them all run away burning to death. 😇

it was an average mining mission nothing to eventful. but then came the evac. we were making our way to the drop pod when the driller falls down. me and the scout go to revive while the engi secures the pod. as we were zipping back up a bulk appeared. the driller and scout had never seen a bulk and were quickly downed by it. i jump back down to avoid it as the engi distracts it. i revived them and i killed the bulk. me and the engi stayed back to allow the greenbeards to retreat and as we were retreating two more bulks appeared. the engi sprints pass them but i didn't have enough time so i threw down my shield and prayed to karl i would survive and i did. when i made it to the drop pod area it was hell driller was down and engi grabbed by a trawler. the scout helped the engi while i went for the driller. with only 15 seconds left and bugs swarming the pod we narrowly got past and escaped. NO DWARF LEFT BEHIND

It's kinda odd to think about sending in stuff as supply pods, nanite bomb dispencer and drop pod. The supply is point accurate, while the dispencer is accurate near a crystal that's supposed to mess with the radar and possibly more equipment (lorewise), let alone the drop pod that usually lands on the other side of the caves. Yet the drill lands on perfect spot in escort duty.

Sometimes mapgen happens in a way that the "center" of such a resource (compressed gold, Jadiz, Bittergem,...) is in the open. So they just fall down and are visible in the terrain scanner from the start of the mission.

I'm going to tread on sticky territory here, but I just wanted to know what thoughts some people have on this. SEA region has a bad reputation for multiplayer games, but I'm not really so sure about gatekeeping others like this as a subculture. For the record, I'm seeing these pubs since I started. It's not an isolated case. Does this regularly happen in your server region also? Don't get me wrong, I understand the frustrations of carrying clueless players (as someone active in other multiplayer games)

I Mean, I always host my missions anyways because I don't want to have to deal with ping, but still.
The only people I see doing that here in North America are for Elite deep dives, which I figure is fair.
Plus, if you're the kind to raise others up with you, Hosting is a better option for that too.

That's a very interesting place to put a magma geyser. One of the bugs got too close to it and got vaporized in seconds. The ground under me also collapsed just as I neared the ramp due to a well timed quake. Well played game....well played.
