I especially loved the "Salt Pillar forest" located within the first cavern.
The cave gen in this game can be so beautiful sometimes.

About the victorian thing (so in England under Victoria's reign) : Red was associated with the uniform. So because boys were younger men, they would wore pink instead of red. Most clothes were white though because of no chemical dyes, the color would fade away at some point (because boiling the clothes was a thing).
