@odd glen That's preeeetty much the same build I use although I always take anti-mactera on Subata. If something's burning, it's probably dead anyway but I sure as hell use the Subata a lot on Mactera.

I used to use +mactera damage on my subata but I switched over to +damage vs burning targets because it's effective on everything but dreadnoughts.
What made me switch was discoving how good the range boost upgrade is for the flamethrower, 20m is good enough to hit fliers and targets on most ceilings. So setting a bunch of them on fire and then finishing them off with the subata with the massive damage boost is very effective.

so there is this guy , having a small youtube channel with DRG content and he does hard challenges like "Elite Deep Dive Solo no Upgrades" and i watched some of his gameplay. After some watching i noticed that his FoV seems to exceed the usual max of 110. So i did some screenshots to compare (used the Droppod interior since it provides the same geometry , making comparsion easier). So , is my FoV slider broken ? Then i noticed that the Spread of his projectile weapons (stubby SMG for example) looks also very low. I really would like to check that but its hard since i cant match the visual settings this guy is running. So my question is , if obtaining a FoV like this means altering gamefiles or running 3rd party software , is that cheating ? Maybe you consider it modding like i tend to ... but what if stuff like weapon sprad and recoil can be affected by thesee modifications aswell ?

@limber belfry Ever use Nvidea Experience? The screenshot option has some settings and you can get a insane FOV-just for the screenshot as far as I know. Just surprised me that it can alter the FOV in game like that...

You can edit your settings file with a custom FoV, UI scale changes the size of the reticle allowing for cheat looking spread.

So you have to resupply midbattle often, so the pheromones are there for that.
And swarmers, holy moly swarmers are a nightmare.

Speaking of meme builds, I've been trying stuff outside the meta lately. I got some success with the auto cannon by using big bertha with mag, firerate upgrades, and the resistance at full rof. I tried pairing this resistance with the max veteran depositor and it does seem to stack a little. When standing by the mule I could take quite a bit more abuse from cannon fodder enemies like swarmers and non slasher grunts. This allowed me to save my shield when normally I'd need to wip it out to not lose half of my health.
It might be better to go with more damage at max rof paired with Vet Depositor defense, as even with the big bertha oc it was kind of hard to put some enemies in the ground

@elfin jolt there are a lot of factors that preceded this situation.
Essentially, we had a storm just before the clip, the scout went down, threw a pheromone grenade and notified me in voice. The only issue is that the canister hit only one enemy which was immediately killed by the sentry. Which I didn't see due to the storm and expected macteras to fight each other, giving me enough time to restock and blow them up before ressing scout.
