yanno, I'm glad that lures and pheromone grenades were added, I'd suggested a dwarf with those kinds of gear items (a dart gun that did low damage but the pheromone effect, and his grenade being a lure) and while those ideas may not have been why we have those grenades, it's nice to see that the devs have the same train of thought as us at times

@random karma I thought that this was pretty interesting. The Glyphids could come down from anywhere (was testing if the walking cost stacks) but with fear applied they always went to the same opening. Guess they have different situations based off of fear and whatnot.

With the exit area not a tunnel on the inside, but on the outside, they still ran into it. When I made a tunnel to go around to go towards that exit they climbed up the walls. So they will ignore it at a certain point to just get out.

Reducing the damage to ~450 instead of ~650 in exchange for 2 extra shells doesn't really change any "thresholds" for what it does or doesn't already kill so that'd basically be just two free shells.
If you fire the Fatboy into a good choke (say in a tunnel during a large wave), the explosion will kill most things in its radius and the radiation will kill or severly injure anything that passes through for several seconds.

The leeches make a very distinct sound when reaching towards you, and if you strafe around in a circle, they can't track you very well and will pull back into the ceiling while you shoot at them

I'd probably agree that speed boost is least necessary on scout (compared to other classes, who really need all the speed they can get for kiting), but it's just a nice QOL thing for me. Grapple is usually enough to keep you alive though.

as other classes...for me that is gunner and engineer,i usually find a way to kill the things that pursue me before i have to take much damage
as engineer that is the grenade launcher or the L.U.R.E. if there are too many
also Grenade jumping helps escape things
for gunner that is the incendiary and main weapon
...seriously,the incendiary deals so much damage to things walking through it
just pop one right behind you and the wave is cleared

I sometimes bring it as solo gunner, but I usually bring AC with fear mod which makes kiting a lot easier. As engineer, I always bring it, because he just feels really immobile to me without any good "get-out-of-jail-free" abilities since L.U.R.E. only attracts (iirc) 10 bugs max now
