A lot of DRG employees say they’ve joined the company because they enjoy science fiction, and have read a lot of comic books and played lots of video games when they were little, hoping to explore the vastness of outer space one day. Recently, some mad lads from Deepcore and Subata created a weapon design that would make any user relive those childhood memories once more. Some of the many breakthroughs of the “Stingray'' include a simplified Ommoran Heartstone power system and a clipless capacitor charge mechanism which is initiated by pulling back the foregrip and awkwardly pointing the weapon upwards. If that wasn’t enough, by holding the trigger, you force the “Stingray” into overdrive by rapidly depleting the energy in the capacitor in the form of a giant focus beam that will vaporize anything in its path 8000 times faster than a Mactera sting.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I think you need a clear coat so the mug becomes safe to use.

Yeah, acrylic can react badly with alcoholic drinks

And if you 3d print it, there can be particles of plastic that break off easily and get into the drink, I definitely don't recommend it without something like a metal liner or just using it as a can cozy

If you're feeling brave, you can print with a high temp nylon or ABS then use food safe or medical safe silicone to coat the inside (e.g. Dragon Skin) , then you would have a dishwasher safe mug, but that's a very involved process

You would print the nylon/ABS base, run it through the dishwasher, dry it out with a lintless cloth, then coat the inside with silicone and let it set, then run it through another cycle.

You may have to modify the inside to give it a good texture for the silicone to grip on to so it doesn't come loose, or just deal with them separating

You might even coat the entire mug in clear silicone, but that may be difficult to do

And you definitely want to find the right silicone to do it, because not all silicone is food safe

if you can get your hands on some. Also, very important but "food safe" doesn't mean it's safe to hold liquids and put your lips on it, far from it. Only direct and prolonged food safe is actually good.

I'm also thinking it could be possible to make a 3d printed mold, coat that in a thin layer of wax to smooth it out, then do some ceramic slip molding with that, but that's getting to be a very very involved process

That would need additional glazing and a kiln to fire it, but that would also allow you to paint it to look like the in game DRG mug

You'd also need to adjust the thickness, the comically thick DRG mug would have a hard time drying out and is likely to crack in the kiln if you don't give it enough time
