@shrewd lynx It's a fairly common issue that is only affecting the Xbox version. As nibbles mentioned, it is being worked on for the next update, but in the meantime it is frustrating. My friend on Xbox usually tries to power through if it's not too bad, but sometimes the mission becomes unplayable.
If the textures on a dwarf bug out, the only thing that will fix it is if that player leaves. Those are the worst case scenario. If it's the textures on an environmental object, usually destroying that object (if possible) will make the issue go away.
My friend thinks that a full reboot of the Xbox seems to help increase the time he can play before experiencing texture issues again, but it's a completely unpredictable bug and we've found no ways to reproduce it or avoid it entirely. Update 32 should fix it, and there should be a beta version of Update 32 made available for users to test to make sure it's fixed

The update aims to primarily improve network related activities like joining/latejoining and reduce (or even eliminate) the random disconnects that some of you guys have been experiencing every once in a while on Windows 10 in particular.
The exploding geometry bug has also been resolved.
It is unlikely that gameplay related bugs have been fixed, unless the falling through the map bug you're speaking of is network/sync related.
Just to temper your expectations.

I hope so. I really enjoyed the game when it was in preview still, I was just looking for a game to play with my PC friend and found DRG. I had a lot of fun, got the itch randomly maybe a month after it went full release and have probably talked 8+ people into buying it, but it’s been way more buggy than what I remember it being in preview.
There’s a lot more stuff and I’ve enjoyed it all greatly, I love everything that keeps getting added, even if tyrant weeds and BET-C keep spawning together and being a nightmare.

The draw distance and as far as they’ve seen have never had the texture starburst exploding character models thing that seems to plague Xbox.

Xbox, and consoles in general, are pretty closed off in a lot of ways to reduce peoples' abilities to figure out exactly how they work and reverse engineer them, so a lot of diagnostics are just not available on the front end

I did a lot of research when I was buying, was between Samsung and the Philips and didn’t consider the price difference worth the compromise on anything. Samsung I’m pretty sure had fewer ports and the color was washed out looking comparatively. Looked at reviews online for both, seemed more people were happy with the philips at the time.
But truth be told if I could afford to replace it I would. The sound is absolute garbage, and while both were pretty bad, my philips rings, so, bad.
It drives me nuts. I have to wear my headset or have the volume way up to drown it out.

If you go to the top of the drop pod entry tunnel you run into an undiggable ceiling. Easy and quick to do with a scout with Low Gravity mission modifier
