@white prairie So far I've been able to join and host public matches without any disconnect having done those things so thank you! I am still having issues with the server list spooling(not loading) and having to restart the game frequently. "IP Translation Configuration Service" as you mention also keeps turning off for me and returning to its manual state after I keep changing the settings and starting the service. "Xbox Live Game Save" also keeps doing the same.
@white prairie I've also taken to leaving the services window open while playing with the hope that it won't have a mind of its own and start turning them off again.

I am on a <2000 version and couldn't join a single public game today, even though it was fine over the weekend. I was able to join a game again. 1. re-enabled Xbox Live services pictured here, 2. Ran the first two restart terminal commands at https://support.xbox.com/help/Hardware-Network/connect-network/troubleshoot-party-chat 3. Rebooted, did the Xbox Live multiplayer Check Again, saw the statuses were reasonable again, and played
Note: I also updated to Windows 2004 before those steps. Also note: Since playing, I see Teredo is unable to qualify and Server connectivity Blocked again
It's possible solely turning on the Xbox Live settings fixed it. I don't know why this stuff reverts

My understanding is you will always get Teredo is unable to qualify and Server connectivity Blocked after rebooting, because nothing you do permanently fixes that stuff. I gave up trying to fix that a long time ago, since it doesn't seem to make a difference for me

In Task Manager, go to services, don't go to open services, instead look for IpxlatCfgSvc, right click, start if it's not on, right click again and go to details

Yep. They're replacing a huge chunk of code that resulted from an outdated and no longer being updated engine plugin. It's been causing a whole bunch of unpredictable and hard to reproduce issues, and the rework should resolve a lot of that. There should be a beta version available for testing when it's ready

It's frustrating right now, because it works great for some folks, and for others there's a few things to try that improve stability, but then for a significant number of other players nothing helps and we haven't been able to determine why, so it really is "your mileage may vary," unfortunately. Hello everyone sorry to be a bother. I've been trying to google this issue but everything ive found doesnt fix the issue. My friend recently downloaded DRG off of the windows store since he owned it on xbox so he could play on pc. I also have the windows store version. When he tries to join me he gets the message that multiplayer session ended. He however is able to join when he switches to his xbox. One of my other friends is able to connect to me via pc. When we try to join the friend that cant connect we just get an infinite joining screen and the cancel button doesnt even work. we have to force close our game to be able to do anything. If anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated.

@frosty sandal You may have better luck if everyone exits the game to the desktop, and then relaunches the game within a few minutes of each other. Wait until you are loaded into the Space Rig before accepting invites or trying to join. If this doesn't work, you can take a look in the pinned messages in this channel (pushpin at the top of Discord). There are a few things to check and try, but they don't work for everyone unfortunately. There are some known, unpredictable, hard to reproduce issues caused by a plugin no longer being supported for newer version of Unreal Engine, and the devs are already working on replacing the whole framework to resolve this and other issues that result from the outdated plugin

Do try the "everyone exits and relaunches the game together" method, as that has worked more than 95% of the time for my friends and I. If it doesn't work the first time, everyone rebooting PCs (and Xboxes if anyone is playing on console), and then launching the game together might do the trick. And it used to be important to fully load into the game before accepting an invite or trying to join a friend

@long harness It's being worked on. The devs have to replace the whole networking system because the engine plugin used to build the Xbox and Windows Store versions is no longer being updated for newer versions of the engine. It's a big project and it takes some time,, but it's the right way to fix the problem. Last we've heard, they're on track for getting the work done in time to be included in the next update (#32), and they are planning on releasing a beta update before that we can test so they can be as sure as possible that they've fixed the issues

I don't see why not, because you're using the same account, but I can't say for certain
There was (and maybe it's still there) a bug with achievement progress resetting when new DRG updates came out, so that's something to be aware of. Achievements based on the number of times you've done a thing were resetting to zero with each patch, so that could have affected the amount of progress you thought you made towards certain achievements

Not true. You still earn achievements if you play the Windows Store version. At least, I sure have
When playing the Windows Store version, you're using your Microsoft account, which is to say you're using your Xbox account

It will be nice when the connection issues are reduced (or gone entirely if we're lucky). I just hate to see people frustrated with Deep Rock, because it's such a good game. These days it can be hard to get information out; with all the various social media options there's so many places that people go for info. I get a kick out of interacting with the lovely regular folks here, so I tend to check in when I see some activity, and if I'm here I might as well do what I can to get some harder to find info out to folks when they come looking for answers. Sometimes all someone needs to feel a bit better is to know they're being heard and that the work is underway to remedy the issue(s) they have. There's enough nonsense in the world these days, and games can offer a nice break from some of the negative stuff, so I just try to make sure at least this game contributes as little as possible to any negative feelings people might be experiencing
