Hopefully it'll be fixed tomorrow, I've found a work around for apps not launching that Microsoft put put for other apps that wouldn't launch like this but I'm hesitant to try it because it involves deleting the liscence caches.

In my opinion they should add a code redemption in options so they can compensate for future problems but only after they fix these problems first

They do have the supporters DLC for steam players, just not for us. It give gold skins for all armors and weapons as well as a unique icon next to your name and in chat.

Sure I could play DRG on steam but I deleted game and reinstalled it on Microsoft version thinking it was that simple to fix so I lost save file on Microsoft version and I can’t transfer the save file over.

No it doesn't, that would be cool tho, online multiplayer is really laggy and server connectivity for console versions is soo annoying. for example I live in AUS and i try to connect to an AUS server. won't connect no matter how long you wait, can connect to US players but it is laggy as hell making the game annoying to play. Solo is nice on console and thats about it.

@rustic scroll I do play the game on windows 10 for cross platform ability, I even bought it a second time as a gift for one of my gaming buddies who is on xbox I game with a lot.

Crossplay is usually difficult to make work, and developers often have to make in house solutions for it. Xbox and windows store is easier to make crossplay due to both running on UWP

Not disagreeing with that at all. But were at a point in time when we are calculating individual Ray's of light for video games, I believe its within our sphere of abilities these days.

I think it's more a cooperate competition thing mostly, but that's just my opinion.

Alright, a new version is in Certification now. It should be available to you in 1-5 hours.

It should fix Windows Store version so it, you know.. opens the game
Mouse on Xbox might work now
We have improved some memory, which should help on the crashes. How much we dont know, we will have to wait and see.

We will continue looking at the no music/control speaks on the Windows Store version and further memory optimization on Xbox tomorrow.

We submitted a new build that is in certification now. It should be out in 2-6 hours.

It contains more work on memory optimization, so it should crash less. If its only a little or a lot, we dont know until we see the stats.

@high creek Several weeks/months ago Microsoft announced a major revamp of gaming on Windows. Some of the
things they want to do is getting rid of the UWP requirement for Windows Store games and making it so games could be crossplay with Steam, if I recall correctly.

That being said, I 'm pretty sure it would still be up to devs to implement solutions once Microsoft makes it possible, and it's probably way too early for any dev team to announce anything to that end

Duo crossplay with myself on Windows and friend on Xbox base model, played for a bit on the newest update. 1st mission went smooth, 2nd mission didn't crash, but it did disconnect him about 30 minutes in. It might be a bit better? But at least it doesn't seem worse

You need to have completed at least one normal deep dive to unlock the elite version and you need to be promoted on any character to do them in the first place.

You can replay the deep dives as much as you want, but you only get the rewards once per stage, so long as you complete it.

yeah, it was just two of us as well. and while i agree that there is a lot of randomness to this game, the deep dives are not supposed to be very random. they are relatively quite controlled with set map layouts and enemy spawns and mineral locations.

@bright briar That's not accurate. A recent dev post on Steam confirms that the Deep Dives are completely procedural. They are not crafted or curated, and that's intentional. Some weeks will be harder and some weeks will be easier

The latest hotfix changed the Dreadnought egg location and the 2nd room in stage 2 of the EDD. This resulted in our team actually being able to beat it, despite being a driller and 2 engineers.

The bug that prevents server listings from ever loading if you get the "Multiplayer Session Has Ended" message still exists, which requires a relaunch (disbanding, etc, does not work).

My game crashed maybe 3 minutes into a random game in an actual mission. It froze for a second, continued, then black screened and exited.

But at least my computer didn't freeze.

I have successfully joined a space rig lobby with someone else and had another player connect without my computer freezing or the game crashing.

i use a controller and i can't honestly tell there is any aim assist

#

i don't think aim assist would be very beneficial in this game anyways because there are often many various enemies on screen at a time and aim assist would really mess up your ability to pick and choose which targets to shoot at first

#

you might want to shoot the praetorian in the back of the mob of enemies but the aim assist would attempt to pull your crosshair toward the nearest enemy instead.

There is minor aim assist on Xbox. When you aim at an enemy, your sensitivity is lowered slightly.

#

It's hardly noticeable but truly makes a difference.

So still having significant trouble with people getting disconnected randomly. Crossplay, with Windows 10 host, one Windows 10 and one Xbox One original joining. Both clients get dropped at the same time, and host stays in mission. Attempts to reinvite to the mission have been failing, saying multiplayer session ended. It's dropped the clients while in the space rig as well as in mission. Our last two attempts at playing a mission together has dropped the clients within the first 10 minutes of the mission

I have experienced a crash. It was within the Dense Biozone and the mutators at the time was Gold Rush and Shield Disruption. Hazard 4. We got attacked by a swarm of Praetorians and the crash happened exactly as I threw a prox. mine at one of the Praetorians. Hope this helps in any way

We have a fix for people losing skins when they crash. However we dont want to take the risk of having a nonfunctional or buggy build out during the weekend, so we will continue to work on optimizations, and will likely put out a new build monday

hello, i have a technical question..

my friend (win10) and i (xbox one) were able to play drg coop thanks to the crossplay feature.

#

the first issue being that he did not get my party invites no matter what we tried, but as soon i invited him instead, everything seemed to be working fine.

#

our first run went fine, but then some strange things happened.

#

i was not able to use the "stats" terminal where you're supposed to spend perk points. nothing happened when i pressed "x" in front of it on my gamepad. as soon as i left the party, i could access it again.

#

then our second run was unplayable for me, because there was some serious desync with the terrain. what i saw graphically did not match with the level geometry actually in place, resulting in me getting stuck in invisible rocks/wall all the time.

#

are these known problems? are they related to crossplay?

On a Windows 10 machine, bought the software from the MIcrosoft store. I am trying to play the game, and can play fine in solo mode, but when I try to access my friends list, I get the message "Something went wrong when loading this section :(" I also tried to access the server list to join a game, it just hangs there. I tested another multiplayer game from the same computer, no problem. I checked with the XBOX Windows folks, they said no problem on there end, I am connected to the network and working fine. I tried deinstalling and reinstalling the game, same thing. Any thoughts on this? BTW, I did disable the firewall completely, just in case, same problem. @zealous glade

We have identified some additional areas we need to test when we drop update 26, to hopefully avoid some of the issues we have had this update. With that said, there will 100% be bugs when update 26 hits too, since 2 testers just cannot cover the same amount of ground that the live players can, not by a longshot.

When you finish creating your app's submission and click Submit to the Store, the submission enters the certification step. Security tests: This first test checks your app's packages for viruses and malware. If your app fails this test, you'll need to check your development system by running the latest antivirus software, then rebuild your app's package on a clean system.
