Dadamar, no, it is not. This is pretty much entirely on Microsoft's end. The update was sent to cert a long time ago, so it isn't on the devs.
Normally it is about a week or so for the more major ones to come out due to how Microsoft works.

It shouldn't be like this, as it was a conflict in their new automated system, but since it's not specifically a problem with us (but between engine and their system) I can't really make any guarantees.
We have no intention of the same happening again and both GSG and our publisher Coffee Stain is set on not repeating this.
Personally I feel the normal 1-2 weeks the Xbox build has to wait sucks, but it is necessary all things considered. A month and a half added to that is unacceptable, especially since it was a machine error.
That said, it was also a series of unfortunate events - a new automated system, which should make it easier, but didn't - then E3 adding extra delay, and then summer holidays on top of that.

I'm really liking everything about the update, though maybe it's just me but my FPS are consistently lower now, unless it's just the fact it's early access and/or the fact I don't have an Xbox One X and only have the standard console.

I like the changes to the lighting. Makes the caverns look more dreary. The scenery from the rig is awe inspiring. Little details like textures on the elevators platforms and empty magazine cartridges on the ground are a really nice touch. I'm having fun running through the grenades at this time. My wife thinks the end-level walk up by the team is cheesy but I enjoy it. Especially when the wounded dwarf falls from the sky.

The Loot Goblin is great. Like the diversity of grenade use. Finally the Gunner can use a decent BBQnade. Loving that in tunnels. Keep those nasty bosses large and mean.the new specs make play a little easier so if you’re thinking of up-ing the dmg from bugs, that might be the balance of making resupply a necessity.

Yeah, ambient occlusion shall destroy your FPS. I have everything but one setting on low and I still go below 60 FPS the vast majority of the time. I think my average during combat is 35 or 40. Sometimes it goes down to 20.

I’m getting about 50 FPS on ultra settings and I noticed a random bug with controller it just randomly made me go look up and spin in a circle during PE
I should mention I only have one resolution setting and that’s 4K

Getting stuck inside drill area is sometimes caused when pc players joined your game only way to leave drill area without leaving game is have someone kill you. Works about 99.5% of the time. .5% doesn’t work when killing player before drill starts moving.

I know I've been quiet QA team, but I'm having a blast with the update. I love the updated visuals, sound effects, and grenades. Still trying to figure out what the bizarre clown laugh or sound is every 45 seconds or so on xbox (every mission.) A few FPS issues, which you're aware of. Number of crashes has increased, but I believe that's also tied to the framerate. Things like bulk explosions and a lot going on seems to cause clients to crash on Windows 10.
Gawd I am sick of egg hunts though. I wish there was something that could be done to make them more enjoyable. Perhaps altering the appearance? Everything is so ugly, but they are glyphid..sooo...
But I love the little battle charges and cries now from the little glyphid. Please give your sound team a pat on back.

is anyone else having trouble joining friends on xbox when playing on pc? Even when my friends send invites to me I dont get them. They can join me just fine though. Open Nats all around.

The Xbox app is garbage and notifications don't work most of the time, especially game invites.
Usually what I have my friends do on Xbox is host a public session and then I join through the server list. Then they can change it to private or leave it as is.
There is a bug that when a player disbands the team, it breaks the game for you until you restart.
It prevents you and other randoms from joining their session (say if they went to promote) and it prevents the server list from working for the clients who got disbanded (waited 10+ minutes and it never worked).
Really buggy and frustrating, I've become accustomed to just restarting my game several times a night for the UWP version.
You sometimes just have to have everyone restart their game to join each other.

mine has actually worked pretty good for other play anywhere games like forza 7. no problems getting invites and no problem joining games in progress through the gamercard screen, so i was just wondering if it was a DRG issue

@wraith compass I've had a lot of the same issues getting friends together since we got the game on the xbox app a few months ago. Occasionally encounter issues with notifications with Sea of Thieves but way less commonly

From my experience, most people on Xbox can't handle Hazard 5.
I have a group of some that can do fairly well, but my luck is much better on Steam for Hazard 5.

I would like to know if there will ever be any new mactera enemy’s in the game as well as any bosses that are mactera or other species other then glyphids also I just feel like after you get to a high enough level where the alternative weapons are available it makes the deadnought seem like a mini boss then a real boss because of auto cannon and breach cutters
To be honest I like the dreadnought but it should not be a boss a mini boss yes but not a boss boss. If you do another boss i feel like it should be an event mission that has a chance to appear and by killing that boss you get a lot of xp and loot but don’t just make it feel like a boss make it look the part as well to me the dreadnought looks like a praetorian on steroids
But this game is gonna go places it really is devs like you should be getting payed millions for this stuff
