Really. While Half Life’s universe and dimensions are cool. I think a lot of it completely falls apart when you think about the universe outside of Earth, and how it’s endlessly expanding with a relatively infinite amount of planets and potentially infinite amount of life.

Not truly infinite. Because it’s not. There’s only so many galaxies with so many stars. But there’s too many of them for the human mind to really comprehend, so it may as well be infinite to us.

Just like how there aren’t an infinite amount of seeds to generate Minecraft worlds from. But there’s 18.4 quintillion of them (2^64 since Java is a 64 bit engine. Interestingly enough, Minecraft: Bedrock Edition only has 4.3 billion seeds which is 2^32. As it is a 32 bit engine instead. Found that interesting). So you may as well say that there’s infinite Minecraft worlds because it’s impossible for anyone to see them all.
