Hey! I had a suggestion for you guy's new game. So far I've really enjoyed this game, it is unique and I love the style! However, it does seem to get a little repetitive doing the same mining missions. I see a solution for that though. Maybe there could be more modes for players to use more than just mining? This game seems to be built around mining, but maybe there could be a playground mode for players to check out the mechanics and hangout with friends. There could also be mini-missions where a player is tasked with small challenges to complete while in the mines. I was just thinking maybe a few things could be added to give us a little more exploration to do in this game. Overall though this game is pretty awesome!

Three words
More alien gore
Maybe improve it a bit. Add leg dismemberment, have some low poly chunks missing from them or some shit one they get shot at
Maybe more blood?
A new enemy that disguises itself as a mineral, before hiding and waiting for his favorite snack: Dwarven miners who think they're about to mine some Croppa or Nitra, but are actually about to be pounced and eaten up by it. Yu,!
Oh hey that would be quite neat, maybe theyre kind of crablike and burrow into walls and floors but for their mineral encrusted shell
Maybe be extra evil and make it use Red Sugar as a Bait? ;)
OH THAT'S GOOD
I think the biggest problem with stealth type enemies might be the ability to mark them anyways. And making it so someone almost always has to have the marker out... meh
If you wanted to make a stealth type enemy, invisibility is the wrong way to go. Its stealth aspect should be based on movement and positioning.
Its not about invisibility. But more the hiding in plain sight aspect that a stealth enemy should utilize in this game i think.
Speaking of which: Make the red sugar thing explode when you try to mine it. Or what if the red sugar tip is its Maw and you are then stuck to the wall while it chomps you to pieces
shouldn't look like the one thing in the game you'd actually want to hit in an emergency
the point of playing at developer is not to flip the player the bird
Or: Its a snake like enemy, the red sugar is its tail and somewhere closeby you might be able to say some part of its body protruding from the ground or walls. So when you approach the red sugar it slowly moves towards you with its head and then grabs you.
If you mark the red sugar on the tail the dwarf might call something like: "Its a trap! But it looks so delicious/tempting~"
@limber lichen it would be a rare eneny or perhaps limited to crystaline caverns
While I love biome-specific enemies, I don't know if the game needs mimics. If anything, it should use precious minerals (like lootbugs and now hoarders), where the dilemma becomes risk/reward as opposed to death/not death. Making the red sugar the lure might disincentivize players from taking red sugar because it might kill them instead of heal them (the assumption being that players only need red sugar at low health, and are also easier to kill at low health).
But, if you had a bug that was covered in say, gold, and it stays asleep unless you agitate it, that becomes a case of risk/reward with a decent payout. Like a golden lootbug but evil.
But I'll be a fan of just about anything the devs add that plays into a biome's specific nature. Like the radioactive bugs in the exclusion zone.
A cuddly toy loot bug. I suggest one is made and purchasable.
I also think the driller should get fewer throwing axes (2 or 3 max) and be able to retrieve then out of enemies. Mordhau might have influenced that one.
While that is a nice idea, i dont think what we need is gunners and drillers effectively kiting everything. That could almost make them unkillable.
@xx there would certainly be some way to tell them apart. Like maybe the mimics sugar glow pulsates with its heartbeat. And i said it grabs you,i didnt say it outright kills you. But being a developer is about makong the game challenging while not making it impossibly hard. I always look at drg and think: what horrors await me today? I want the game or rather the bugs to give me a run for my money
Could also always make it Haz3+ or Haz4+
Could have there be a slight tell, perhaps there's a faint snoring rumble or the crystals rise and fall gently with its breathing, so if youre observant you can always catch it, but it will probably catch you off guard occasionally
I suppose I just like the idea of an (optional) boss-tier monster you get loot from - particularly if it was special resource loot. Or gold. Can never go wrong with more gold.
I have an idea for a new hazard mutator: Flashlights don't work so you have to rely on flares or scout.
Or a semi-passive enemy that rushes to light sources and seeks to smother them, since they feed on light.
That eats flares yeah
I'm sure this has been suggested before and if not im shocked. I dont know how long ago it was when the ace of spades hat was implemented in memory of lemmy. Can we get the facial hair and a nice stack of hair in memory of Bob Ross. With the caption of something like "we dont make mistakes, just happy accidents"
New upgrade for gunner's zipline by timaasdasd posted this at May 27, 2019 at 02:53PM : https://trello.com/c/jn7Z8pkt
When using gunner's zipline, you can fell off from it, when taking damage. With new updates there much more enemy variety who can shoot you or fly to you, such as mactera, naedocyte, acid/web spitters, spitballers, shellbacks, glyphid meneace. My point is, it's dangerous to u...

Regarding the class icons, it would be better to have unique symbols for the different classes rather than a default portrait, since you can customize the appearance of your character, they will not match the icons. Maybe a drill for the driller, a wrench for the engineer, a minigun for the gunner and some sort of flashlight or lantern for the scout? :)
yeah, it would be great if when you use your laser pointer it had a little icon above the outlines of your comrades because i can never tell who is what class so if i need the engi or driller to do some specific task it'd be nice to know if they were nearby. it's not helpful to ask for platforms to be put up if the engi is on the other side of the map.
heres the google translate for this ^
davs .. and thanks for a great game .. has 518 hours clockwise .. i have a request .. could not do so so that only those who hosted the game could call on the plug. it is the mega iret when people ion just before they are done and you want it all because they then call the drip before you are completely finished. just because they want fast XP. It would probably remove many sour eulogies for me. if i so laved it like it was something you hit or from it meant nothing ... pliccccccccc and thanks
What if there was a drink from the bar or possibly for another class that highlighted nodes of minerals that you could mine. Sort like the Spelunker Potion from Terraria
drink that makes fossils glow like the sun plox
That's what bosco is for.
This is probably for further down the line since it's not really a gameplay thing, but I think it would be really neat if any upgrades made to weapons would result in minor cosmetic changes to the weapon in question. For example, clip upgrades could result in longer/larger clip sizes which in turn could result in a change in reload animation or reload speed could have two clips tied together for quick loading. Changes in bullet damage could mean a change in the muzzle flash, the ejected spent cartridges or even a change in material for the gun barrel and/or ejector port to signify an upgade in materials to handle the greater stresses and heat the weapon is subjected to. The weapons are already delightfully detailed as-is, but I think cosmetic differences could lead to a difference in gameplay as well when players use weapon upgrades different than the most "optimal choice" in favor of a sweater looking weapon (since it's something the player using it will be able to see rather than other players in terms of beard/mustaches/hats)
Better voice actors that actually sound like middle aged (or older) pissed off scotsmen
Also something else might be interesting would be to add arrows/triangles on the Drop Pod at 90/120 degree angles, so during high stress situations (i.e. little time left and the pod landed in an enclosed area that has to be dug around to extract) they'll show the shortest route to the pod doors, or in the case of sign being on the opposite side of the Drop Pod showing a diamond or a circle indicating the extraction side is on the opposite end
like on the top of right of the hud?
I was thinking more on the Drop Pod itself since in that situation the attention is drawn to the center of the screen rather than the perimeter
It's more of an observation of a recent match I saw where the team was scrambling on the last few seconds of extraction and couldn't figure out where the pod doors were in the panic
oh just arrows that points to the door? on the drop pod textures?
Yeah!
Pretty sure I've played a game that's used a similar feature before, but cannot for the life of me remember what game it was
Kind of like how a box sometimes has a "This Side Up" on it
I know cars use it next to the fuel gauge to show you which side of the car the fuel cover is located
Low gravity space moons to dig on the surface off? like galactic XD rock... that is deep in the surface (I just want to see some light, i've been down here for days)
I'd love to have more music (DLC even?) on the jukebox but also.. on MOLLE ! To be able to take the music with us into the tunnels (even if it means it attracts more bugs..). Me and my fellow regular miners love to hammer the V button whenever possible, so more (again.. I'm okay with DLC for this) voice emotes would be absolutely lovely after release.
having tunes on the mule could also have a neat doppler effect as it moves through the tunnels haha
let us in mission control... WHAT SECRET COULD POSSIBLY BE soooo bad.. not to let us EXPIERENCED! miners in
Mission Control's doing yoga?
XD Molly upgrades... pretty obvious mission control knows the struggle going down on the planets in fighting hostiles, Molly would be perfectly fine with carrying a bloody ammo refuel station and or some sort of turret.. especially since WE ALL KNOW! mission control loves us and would rather have us alive and safe, rather than us doing our jobs and getting them resources (drop pod leaves without me again.. ''its alright guys.. ill um.. get the next one?'')
Can we add these?
a random event (Like Bet-C) that we get random drop pod attacked by Goblin Space Pirates where its
- Only spawn in the following mission types: Mining Expedition, Salvage Operation and Egg collection.
- Initially signaled to the dwarves by mission control about an unauthorized sortie towards your cave.
- Would attempt to steal molly from us, and her contents. They wouldnt rush towards your face unlike the alien bugs, but instead they will rush towards molly and paralyse her as well as start slowly draining the ores deposited inside of her.
- Huge XP/credit bounty reward when succesfully defended chance slightly increase when holding more gold/extra minerals)
- Would use mostly weapons they find "advanced" but are mostly impractical, would fire projectiles you can manage to dodge with proper reflexes and movement. Just like any of the range enemies.
Big idea, play as the dungeon master.
Competitive idea, two teams go into the same mine and complete the mission scoring more for the delta in time among other things.
Also pre gen mines with ghosts.
Time trial!!
My other suggestion
Ancient Ruins Area proper name pending:
- Accessible once collected 5/10+ ERR:// Artifacts by the session host.
- Unconfortable to solo but not impossible, cannot latejoin, requires to assign a team on the spacerig before sortie if wanting to go as a team. (Due to the game having support for DCing or quitting to go back to its original spot, it's manageable to rejoin if DC'd if the host sends an invite throught steam)
- Looks from an ancient unknown race civilization, would consist of mazes and puzzles (place shaped objects around in the right shapes, remember symbol patterns and press a panel with them later and/or press platforms in a certain order indicated by some ancient circuitry marking their pathways, punishment for doing incorrectly triggers the trap) with artificially made walls, traps and security systems (laser and plasma alien turrets, pitfalls with acid pool below and sounding a strong alarm that will indirectly instigate a wave or sometimes a swarm or even a dreadnaught).
- Abandoned millenia ago, now the hive area for the alien bugs.
- They would have most minerals in containers and deposits.
- Classes would work differently in this area (Scouts illumination might be vital for the spotting of traps, engineer and gunner are helpful for fighting since there will be more hazards and ziplines and platforms can get across large pitfalls that would create shortcuts and not taking the longer and more trap-laid paths, Drillers can breach worn out walls, creating shortcuts as well.
- Hardest area of the game, would not spawn often in the mission selection scanner, would have high max complexity and high reward.
- Clear milestone on this area will give 3 stars instead of 2.
- Area Minerals: Jadiz Abundant - Enor Pearl Scarce (Requires to solve puzzle to open their container).
Rpg for the gunner
I'd like the ability to chat on the loading/drop/extraction/credits scenes. Basically, all the scenes where I lose control of my character and are stuck waiting for the game to return control, I should at least be able to chat. Overwatch has spoiled me in this regard.
Yeah, then you can tell your team you're buying the next round!
A way to toss your bag of minerals at will to teammates/near molly so that you could save a couple trips, like the resource bag that drops when someone disconnects.
Active mission camera. Would be great to be able to click on any of the missions already active to view before joining in or just watch for fun. Joining in I could get an idea if the mission is being attacked or not prior. For just observing it could be great to see how other players run a class in higher hazard types. The player camera from downed Dwarves already exists so it should be easy just to patch in to that. Also a Molly camera could be fun as the main camera over view.
Molly Sandwich Storage.... as mentioned before in the weapon upgrade screens losing a space for sandwiches. Have Molly store sandwiches on the side that you can retrieve at cost of gold for a speed boost or health regen. One sandwich per player per game.
Depositing 2 ammo drops on the Mule to be used later
that's probably against regulations
I don't think anybody in R&D cares about regulations
Bosco skins
A new additional secondary weapon per class, bringing the total to three.
Also, linking to @normal crag ... Stored sandwiches in Molly, one per player every run, as a sort of freebie from management to keep the miners punching in rocks with maximum morale and energy.

@silent karma I mean, terrain is a thing. Even if you can move at ludicrous speeds, obstacles block movement and force you to dig. Or worse, you could run off a cliff or fall down a pit.
The bane of mobility is forever the risk of fall damage and entrapment due to speeding away without paying attention in a skirmish.
Furthermore, enemies tend to come from all directions and not all chase. Some prefer to sit and spit.
Anyhow, on the topic of new secondary weapons... What ideas do you guys have?
I'm thinking, like, a melta-type (WH40k inspiration) pistol for the Driller. Oneshot hot vent-blast of molten gas to smelt anything just beyond melee range. Single-shot reload, massive damage, slags armor.
You Should be able to get a reaction from throwing your mug at the bartenter bot, possibly multiple different reactions
Super Rare Gems... Diamonds, Emeralds, and Rubies... Have them be biome specific and worth a small fortune.
Driller Flamethrower: more environment functionality... Fungus Bog clear the sticky goo.
@tight pike There is a turret prioritization mod available already
Maybe the cryo gun could freeze the goo instead?
Now that we have the new mission completion screen, any plans to implement an MVP spotlight?
I don't think having an MVP would make sense in this game
Unless everyone votes on it?
highlights would be cool
like most damage taken and most kills and most picked up yadda yadda
have the drillers, drills not over heat so quickly
Can we get more support tools, like how they did it with the weapons?
My idea as a example would be a Jetpack for the Scout as a replacement for the Grappling hook, it would allow you to move vertically easily, but sacrifice the speed and distance the grappling hook could travel horizontally. It should obviously be balanced enough so it's not worse or better than the Grappling hook, as it's meant to serve more as a "variant".
Hi
Oops - sent prematurely.
Hi everyone, some really cool suggestions in here, and super cool to see such a large and rock and stone community.
Myself and my friend had some suggestions and it seems like they've been touched on previously.
Firstly, the combat medic.
Nothing too fleshed out, but we love the idea of a medic class that feeds fellow dwarves with either buffs/healing brews and meads. Perhaps their gadget could be a small table laden with beers that heal you 30% so you can get tipsy while you mine. Primary weapon could be a vector-like SMG, small capacity, okay damage, and secondary could be some kind of whiskey-injector which provides a buff to your resident gunner - something akin to the heavy/medic combo from TF2, whether it be crit damage, mutual invulnerability or a speed boost. I think a class to this effect would be such an immaculate fit in an already well-rounded and finely tuned game. It would make haz 4+5 much more manageable with something like a 'supercharge' for when there's just a few too many enemies surrounding your squad.
Secondly, we love the idea of humanoid encounters - the idea of massacring parasite-infected elves (Or even dealing with a parasite enemy that infects your teammate and causes them to turn on you) would be super cool. I saw mention of a competitive pirate dwarven mining faction which I think is such a great suggestion.
Totally understand if that's not the direction ya'll wanna take the game, but would definitely be cool to have your standard mission be flipped upside down and have the added challenge of dwarven pirates dropping in on you.
Big thanks to the devs for working so hard on such a sweet game.
Keep up the good work ❤
Add a mod for the pickaxe that reduces the slam cooldown by 5 seconds on each (melee) kill.
Achievement-based cosmetic, ie a glyphid skull hat for killing 2 dreadnoughts at once
Having a customizable HUD would be a great addition. I'd love to have just my health bar and crosshair appear on screen; It makes the game much more immersive.
Competitive mode:
win based on points
time plays in the score
All teams in the same mine
Leaderboard ladder structure
A better colour for the supporter pack items. Gold is awful and tacky. It's the only reason I didn't buy the supporter pack. Morkite colour maybe?
Suggestoin: Research terminal enteries and nerd data(Binomial nomenclature names?) for Hoxxes lifeforms.
New Mob... Centipedes, which have active camo, move very quiet, and wrap around miners to slow strangle kill.
Discord Suggestion: add a looking for channel for players to join the pod, example: LF HAZARD 3 egg hunt pod 1
I’d like to see the ability to set up multiple profiles per class. Essentially create a preset setup of mod and gear selections. Could select these when joining a game, and could created, edit and name them from the equipment terminal. Gives some limited ability to select gear when joining a mission in progress, as well as making it easier to setup different mods for mission types or something. Perhaps additional profile slots could be unlocked by higher tier promotions. Early on you probably wouldn’t mess with them, or only set up a couple, but the more you learn a class, there could be some real convenience in having several different profiles.
a Loadout system, effectively.
Secret cave rooms that can randomly generate, no dirt marking the way to it, you'd have to notice it on the scanner. Could hold various things such as bonus ore, dreadnaught cocoon, BET-C, or other weird things as like a fun hidden side objective that you gotta have an eagle eye for
Using the little mule for long mining purpose. This little mule need to be emptyed on the bugest one. Just to help around the splitted team sometime. So a 4 player team can decide or by random choose to get the little mule to go mine on another side. If they does they are binded with the smaller mule. By exemple guy1 ecide to split guy2 ress a bouton to bind himself on the little mule. Guy3 and guy4 can bind too but they still on the biguezt mule if they dont. It could grant a bigest size to the game than little session. More imersive quest and maybe a story out of it. But keep the splited mule and session bigger goal than 200 morkite or taking few eggs. It could be a way more interesting than simple mining.
By the same point could ask real teamwork mecanics from it. Fine mining and taking ressouce is good. But more action than shooting bugs and wendering arround could give a less repetitive sence on the game himself.

A cloaked/invisible enemy type. Meant as a scout it can cloak/invisible maybe from time to time, can be spotted only by a flashlight, Scout's flaregun or High-intensity flares (Medium-intensity flares or normal flares will be unable to expose its position) However it will leave small traces of footprints. Once this enemy spots or "marks" you, it will let out a scream or alternatively spit the same ball from the Dreadnought containing "Pheromones" what follows this is a small-scale swarm of swarmers, glyphids or Macteras that will obviously attack you. This enemy type will not have any armor move a little bit faster than a normal Glyphid Grunt. Would probably be called "Stalker, Phantom or Ghost ||Ship Games||"
Perhaps a Predator ; ]
That works too, but for what the concept is (Not a direct attacking enemy) the name "Predator" doesn't seem to fit in
I was referencing the aliens from the film series Predator, haha, but a more serious name could be called a Lich, as an allusion to cloaking itself in shadows and siccing its minions onto the player
A chaperone, bug that works in the hive as some sort of worker that helps focus the bugs on tasks, like a shift manager but it’s a spider, throws pheromones to help focus the glyphid horde
Call the forward scout a "Mactera Vanguard" and anyone it marks will be targetted by macteras with greater accuracy? IDK.
Its not meant to fly though, so i didn't feel like it should include the name "Mactera"
i wish you could hit another dwarf with the mug and get a reaction
and be able to spill drinks, angering the command
dude
An "extarmination" gamemode that works just like elimination but you destroy Mactera hives and fight Mactera queens, they should only be able to spawn in very large caverns
On the engineer's turret, in "defense mode", add lasers or some sort of effect to indicate that it is a defense mode turret, and where its scan radius is.
A spinoff strategy game named mission control where you have to guide the dwarves though the missions and send in resupply pods etc
You have like an upgraded terrain scanner veiw of the caves
If a dwarf do t make it to the pod at the space rig he should be sent in using a personal drop pod besides the big one
^^
i posted an idea about individual bonuses, most kills, most revives, most minerals mined, etc. as a way to get extra xp and credits on a mission
Suggestion: Super random chance Event - When you start a mission, management drops you 'in the wrong spot' though, its a (mostly open) large cavern full of Gold and rare minerals (for building up your weapons).
Management realizes their mistake as they sent you in 'too deep', but allows you to "Have fun with this unscheduled team building event".
The catch is, it is in a zone that is either:
A.) Falling apart rapidly (timer until the room collapses and your dead) - Easy
B.) Never ending/no break waves of increasing difficulty. to the point of Madness - Hard
Again, this would be a super rare occurrence (similar in chance to entering 'Wimsyshire' in Diablo 3) , so it couldn't be abused that badly. Its also possible that due to your own greed, you'll end up dying in it because your trying to grab too much while fighting/racing the clock.
whats whimsyshire
perhaps instead of "sending you too deep" instead they send you to where they intend, but the rock collapses into a sinkhole because of the instability, so you plummet said treasure trove cavern but the cacophony has both wrecked your pod and drawn a lot of attention. Effectively a random modifier that sometimes proccs in team games that essentially combos it with the latter half of a salvage mission.
Subtitles could use a second pass. Even in English, they're inconsistent and a bit awkward at times.
A good example is whenever a character hums as they deposit, or the Gunner's "Brrm!" voice line. The subtitles are just completely out of whack.
On a completely different note, a few perks could really use tweaking:
- 10% fall damage reduction is cool. Having it upgrade by a paltry 1% per tier is not. Maybe 2 or 3% per tier would be worthwhile...?
- I'll admit I haven't tried it, but Vampire seems fairly useless. Considering that base health is 125 (140 if you maxed your armor), healing 2-4 health on a melee kill is... Paltry at best, at least on paper. Not to mention you probably won't be going out of your way to melee enemies if you can help it (it slows you and does awful damage compared to simply shooting them). It's especially not worthwhile on large enemies like the adult rollers, who have probably bumped off a good bit more than four Health.
you guys need to stop giving away the minerals for crafting.. just remove that reward completely
it removes to much of the grind/fun playing and earning stuff
also the drillers pistol is overpowered - far more effective than the GK2
it would be nice if you can drop all the minerals on you so someone else can pick them up.. encourages new teamwork situations
flare gun duration could use a huge boost.. like triple the duration bonuses for upgrades
@solemn jackal vampire is actually incredibly OP with the iron will perk. because if you get a melee kill you won't go down as long as you dont get hit again
Huh, I hadn't thought of that.
One message removed from a suspended account.
Still, it's not much of an upgrade or perk outside of that Iron Will synergy.
I mean, I can see it being useful then, but I don't see why it shouldn't have some merit on its own.
Again, 2-4 health on a melee kill is pitiful. :/
Unless they're the very last monsters in a wave, you're gonna get munched once and go down anyway.

What would be Nice is when for example a dwarf is left behind the game doesn't end there for them, you stay alive but no way to call in more drop pods of supplies , no comms and Endless Waves of aliens till you succumb, kinda like how Karl died, abandoned and alone perhaps an options to off yourself. We should have more drinks at the bar maybe one that doubles that amount of gold you get I call it gold beer
Midas Tears
Also, bombadier beer. Gives you flatulence maybe, for comedy or literal lighting your farts with the flamethrower for random damage behind you.
or it randomly provides extra propulsion when jumping around
What about nitra cola it’s gives you the ability to call in a supply pod at the beginning of the match
put slow mode on both channels
What about introducing a new buyable droppods. Maybe like a stationary turret from point extraction, or a portable heater that will heat up the bugs (and dwarves) around it.
Also i had a second idea to buff solo play (but its probably overpowered). Add an upgrade to Bosco that will replace two ammo racks with a charge station where Bosco can get his revieves back (one per supply pod)
https://www.pcgamer.com/microsoft-games-on-steam-announced/
In light of this announcement, is there any look being taken at letting microsoft store and steam cross play when they get on the same patcb schedule?
Can the intro/company flash screen volume not be max and instead match your in game audio settings? Its so loud D:
Love the game 😃
Maybe look at the words for mission names, and prevent specific combinations?
... who cares? it's not deliberate, so it'd be a racist AI/algorythm
we can always blame mission control.
Suggestion: New mission modifier: Permadeath - When this modifier is active, you are no longer able to be revived when you go down. This modifier could be toggled at will and will GREATLY increase rewards
karl's Beard that's a horrifying prospect...
ooh yeah, thats intresting
Please make a setting that you can turn on that allows the host the only one to push the drop pod button, unless they are unable to. or some system that prevents a random player that late joins from pressing the button. It happens way too often when we are trying to complete the secondary objective, or collecting minerals, and some guy that late joined pushes the button when we aren't ready.
Suggestion: New Beer options
- Heat/cold resist?
- Movespeed buff?
- Explosive resistance?
- Pickaxe swing speed?
Void Brew/Dragon's Breath Ale, The Twitch (electricified beverage)... not sure about the last two
Just some more variance
Because Dark Morkite does not have what THIS growing dwarf needs
dark morkite would be better if it effected all minerals mined, increased yields on everything
or even just the rare minerals and gold
More xp but not worth it
exactly. change it to boosting yields from NON mission-required materials like Magnetite, Gold, etc.

suggestion, can we have a loot bug be in the hub, kinda like a pet, they are cute.

lil domesticated lootbugs
somehow, make this stop happening, because it makes no sense
or molly is just that great
suggestion: please adjust the volume down for the two developer logos. It's been unreasonably loud since I first got the game. Or...make them skippable after I've watched them twenty times.
really loud logo noises
GHOST SHIP GAMES
@floral sphinx Movement speed buff + oxigen rich atmosphere. Imagine the yeetage on that lol.

Make the error cube give the first player to pick it up a fake blue screen and warped audio for a couple of seconds, along with a fake "[player] left the game" message and hide them from the HUD. (give them invulernability while it happens so they dont get killed)
Give glyphids random voice lines like: "ooh I can taste you already", "im gonna eat ya", or "where are you looking?, I'm over here!" but have them rare to mess with the players.
Any chance the locked achievement logos could be changed to a greyed out lock, it would make it much easier to distinguish between locked and unlocked achievements (they may be separated in some screens, but others the locked and unlocked are mixed together)
A moustache emulating Doctor Eggman; call it the Egghead
Like this?
I had already said this once but please put slow mode on the suggestion channel instead of the suggestion discussion one
I would like to see some more advertising to get fresh blood into the game. Last few weekends in a row matchmaking at least for me has been slow and inconsistant
maybe a free weekend or something on steam

If/When lava terrain is brought in, can we bring have a mob based on the Uhini Nene Pele (pardon the lack of proper vowels) Lava Cricket?
Effectively, I want to have something like this on rivers of lava, spitting fireballs like the glyphid acidspitters, only they surf around like water skeeter bugs and dodge like mactera.

This game is cool and all, but dwarfs kinda suck and it needs elves. Dwarfs be too much like ugly smelly grumpy and dumb midgets who get tired for walking 2 steps. Elves are superior. @idle quartz
Can we throw this guy in the dumpster
Error cube themed outfits that are black and white plaid please. 🆗
Edgy outfits 2? Idk about that
Simple request: silver on hoxxes.
Similar to gold, but not worth as much
There's been an icon of "HoxIron" since early access release. A dev claimed it was originally like the compressed gold we have now
Building off of the Pet Lootbug in the Hub idea by @thorny kraken, it could be unlocked by an achievement called "Alien Ally" or something similar where you go 10/20 missions in a row without killing/harming any lootbugs
Also, other hub achievement unlocks like a taxidermized dreadnaught for "Big Game Hunter", and so on. These could be spread around the hub ship and maybe even have their own section, ||maybe up in the secret tunnel you need gravity recalibration to access||.
hi, playing DRG I thought of a mission that could be interesting but that looks a little like "save the MULE": it would be a rescue mission of MULE / survivors but with a cave that is destroyed over time (like earthquakes in the volcanic biome). Once the survivors have been saved, the escape pod should be repaired as in "save the M.U.L.E." I think that our flight and the world that is destroyed as and when can add stress
hmm, i like that idea, a sorta time limited mission, but i don't like the idea of a cave being slowly destroyed. I think instead it could just be a drop pod on a limited timer so as not to change your experience moving through the cave and ruin it with screen shake. Make lines like "We're on a tight schedule here" actually mean something
u know when u take a egg there is a "GROAAAAAAAAAAAR" of the queen (i guess) but we never see her, so maybe instead of destroying the cave make the queen come if you're too slow. But i prefer the idea of cave collapse (sry for bad english btw)
oh yea thatd be good too, like an unkillable monster you have to run from? that might work too. my concern is it'd just be hard to make a cave "collapse" with the current engine, seems like that'd take a lot of terrain moving all at once. (your english is pretty good as well, don't worry about it)
collapse is a very big word but just cracks like in the lava biome could be enough with the same earthquake but more often
i posted these in #drg-gallery a few days ago but thought i'd share here. new idea for a mutator called bizarro world. it's just for some silly fun
hey little guy, are you lost?
some giant swarmers
big enemies are small, small enemies are big, cave leeches on the floor, really weird random stuff
i thought it would make for a fun mission
but with same stats as before?
i dunno, maybe
Adjust Gunner's guns so he isn't awful unmodded. Once he's fully kitted out, he works well, but until that point he's really lacking.
Look into toning down the heat mechanic of the Minigun, and/or at least making the heat gauge more visible (a HUD meter or something). He's supposed to be all about more dakka, and it's just awkward to choke because you were a bit too trigger happy.
Bear in mind he's also a new player's first impression of the game
I've a suggestion for Bosco. When a player joins Bosco instantly explodes. This leaves the 1 original player for a few moments without any kind of support completely out of the blue. I think Bosco should remain for at least 5 to 10 more seconds before gracefully taking his leave.
Suggestions Restated...
Sandwich compartment on the Mule that will give you back half health once per match.
Training gives you option to pick class and environment.
A third person camera to spectate a match before joining so you know what you are dropping into. An option to pick witch person to spawn near as well. Also have the spectate work for matches already in process.
Please bring back the spitballer goo (the blue stuff after you killed it that would squish when you walk over it) in some form or another. It was fun to squish and made a nice sound.
how about an external view when the drop pod is leaving the mission, to see all the bugs you're leaving behind, with them getting obliterated by the exhaust flame....
Maybe stop Cave Leeches from reaching quite so far sideways for tasty dwarves. Maybe especially not through tiny holes in the terrain.
Or directly through an entire eggshell
Please let us hear/see the countdown timer when in a menu.
Dunno if some already told this: maybe will be useful preventig bugs spwn on mining head in point extraction, and at the same way fix bugs glitching in mine head platforms. They are able to hit you, and you cannot. Mine head is the most dangerous place in haz 4-5 due to this bug (lol).
can we get at least a little credit for secondary objectives even if it's not complete? it feels like a slap in the face to spend forever before giving up on finding the last fossil or needing to leave due to time restraints only to get 0 XP for all the other ones
Something i think would be a cool QoL addition, no longer have the drop pod automatically leave when all live dwarves are inside and there's a dwarf downed on the outside.
Many times me and buddies will be filing in and the low HP guy on the tail end would get downed on the ramp right outside the drop pod and we'd already be inside and cant react to pick him up and it sends us out.
When all dwarves are alive and inside then automatically extract, when a dwarf is downed somewhere, do NOT automatically extract and instead have a push button you interact with like on the MULE that you push to finish the mission while leaving the downed person behind. would save alot of accidental dwarf-left-behind and give the devs an opportunity to add more "no dwarf left behind" meme's by chastising those that use the button.
What if you could pet molly, or tap her or something to that effect?
Being able to change the Dwarves body types and faces would be kinda cool.
Maybe even have female dwarves 🤔
Giving mission control guy some personality beyond 'guy on the radio'
like, maybe he actually gets worried if the team starts to do poorly, and sends in a free resupply, or something to that effect, ya know?
single player: Give Molly a turret.
if/when the Space Rig gets its overhaul, perhaps give the dwarves have different rooms. That is to say, like Vermintide. Where each of the characters have their own room in the Keep where with their personal belongings to give you a better insight into that character
Gunners room could be full of weapons and ammo, books about guns
Engineers room is full of turret parts, schematics
Drillers is messy and filled with dirt and his drills, maybe gems and crystal scattered around
Scouts is has a bunch of extra lights in it and maps of different biomes
What about Mission Control?
filled with booze and barrels bolted to the floor
Giving the Dwarves names: yay or nay?
I think it would be better without, the current system of no names and instead brother gives off that "team" vibe
fair enough 🤔
Remove Dwarfs, and replace them with elves. They are superior in every way.

Kick (Press E) - Crossover Concept + Kick utility game by professorhazard posted this at June 3, 2019 at 07:09AM : https://trello.com/c/jOOzOSg3
We all love kicking those barrels on the station, but there's no reason to learn to do it when it comes to the actual gameplay. What a disappointment! How about a mission where kicking is not just encouraged, it's a necessity - and it gets to be a fun crossover with another s...

Do we have any plans to boost assault rifle? It is a bit useless compared to sniper rifle
it's just straight up useless compared to the m1k...
if the m1k is supposed to be an alt weapon, deepcore should have a use
as of now,it doesn't have any accuracy nor damage
The Zhukovs do the Deepcore's job better.
And the M1k does the Shotgun's job better.
Hello, I'd like to suggest that when the drills are equipped we get some sort of hud display on the screen that tells us our vertical angle. It would be useful to be able to easily determine if I'm angled up, down or straight ahead while digging tunnels without having to back up and look around.
Also, will this game provide support any modding, because then I could implement this myself if devs don't think it worthwhile?
Modding is up in the air currently
Hey, I'd just like to suggest making it easier to notice the chat box when someone types something down. I always miss what they're saying and it becomes a detriment to the communication in the team.
do devs read this? i hope so
you need to fix the engineers mobility - make his pads bounce you up at least 10 feet
that will fix his mobility issues and give him a good team role
(apex implemented this with their jump pads)
also - the difficulty scales poorly with multiple players. its harder on 5 with 4 players because you run out of nitra. if you make the resupply cost less based on the number of players, it would fix this
80 -1p, 70 2p, 60 3p, 50 4 players
If more characters are added in the future, why not a group of elves joining DRG?. Would love to see the animosity between the varying teams and how they would interact with each other/mission control.

karl is an elf
Please implement a quick options wheel for pings, instead of merely pinging one thing, you can give alternative commands with a simple twitch of your mouse instead of relying on one of two buttons, one of which makes bosco fire rockets for instance.
Serious Suggestion: Visual queue for sound queues, aka subtitle of noises or close captions.
I am hearing impaired, and I'm very sure there are Deaf players out there, a [Mactera Grabber noise] or [Omnious Noise of Big bad] would be very good and very much appreciated
[extremely loud huuli hoarder noises]
[the cries of men and lamentations of women]
Maybe some more common beers that let you mess around a bit more in the hub. Perhaps one that makes everyone run super fast for some racing action or a beer that enables fist fighting similar to Vermintides pub brawl event. Passing out is great but some variety is the spice of life.
Maybe a mode like point extraction, but with no aquarq, just standing your ground as long as possible and getting resources and credits every 5 or so hordes you last. It would be cool to have to conserve Nitra because you only gain it through withstanding hordes of enemies.
have items be affected by the geyser and hot spring's steam wind so that items like eggs and minerals don't get stuck inside their vents (same logic for the sandblasted wind tunnels)
Have the base camp customizable through a branching upgrade system so that you can make your base camp special with various minigames and cosmetics that may not be in another person's base camp
PSA: The latest word from GSG regarding inclusion of alternate fantasy races/creatures (besides dwarves) is a resounding no.
Maybe in a DRG2; that is, if GSG still wants to work on the IP after the first game.
does it add anything besides more work
Just a thought I had about the resupply mechanic: Instead of having a pod drop into the play area when enough redstone (forgot the name) is mined, why not just have the Mule manufacture resupply? The mule could either have extendable racks like the current resupply pod, or it could just spit out 4 resupply pickups.
I find it weird that ore we mine and deposit into the mule is just magically transported to home base for them to send in resupplies. It's especially jarring when all other materials needs to be transported back to the escape pod.
Speaking of Mules, is there any planned feature for upgradeable & customizable Mules? For instance, maybe something similar to Bosco's upgrade terminal but for Mules. I could only apply if you are the Party lead?
Have Noses added in vanity customization, many games I played that had dwarves or dwarflike races had distinctive noses on top of their moustache and beards to be distinctive.

Slower projectiles for the Breach Cutter.
Shorter effective range, but more damage output within said range.

how would it rain undergroun
I’ll post my response in suggestion discussion.
Clouds (or at least moisture) can form underground.
Honestly?
Biggest thing I really want?
Better flash light
Or longer lasting flares
Like
I don't want the flare and flash light to be so powerful as to make the Scout pointless
But
Just a little bit better.
Nah, the darkness is part of the game
Halloween event, change the Salvage Operation mission slightly. Have a eerie distant voice of the cries of help "please come rescue me" in an new voice. The voice of Karl, calling out to his former team mates. Like how you can hear BET-C, You reach the drop pod and then you suddenly cant hear the calls for help anymore. Spin it in any direction from there.
what rescue mission?
well guess its not a rescue, its more the rebuild and retrive the mini mules
part of me feels like iv heard mission control refer to it as a rescue effort but its probaly just the mini mules that are getting rescued, not the previous miners
Its the " Salvage Operation", will cahnge my post now
dont stress it, just a small misunderstanding
There are problems with griefers now.. particularly people either player killing in missions, or disbanding the group near the end of the mission. We need the ability to report players for griefing, and some sort of block list to make it so people you block can't group with you anymore
Many people have discussed about adding a 5th class, and we all know how much work that would take (some more than others, though). But what if, maybe, we had a second Class Unique Tool?
For example, a Driller is very useful to buy time by digging those tunnels and creating paths, but what if he could change his drills for a mineral gathering drill? A ranged drill that had less fuel than the regular drill, but it would almost instantly gather (or simply mine it, as if you had just sent Bosco, but way way faster) an entire mineral veil in a certain distance (maybe quite shorter than the Scout’s grappling hook, so that the game doesn’t become too easy).
Having that means he could think of a build where he actually uses explosive sachet to dig tunnels, if the team needs to buy time.
There are many possibilities, if you consider the classes’ purposes, like how the scout has the ability to go on ahead and help other dwarfs see everything. Maybe his Flare Gun could be replaced by a Threat Recognizing gun, that would reveal all enemies (as if you pinged them) in a quite decent range around where he shoots. This could help the team prepare if they are hearing a lot of alien noises, but they don’t know where it’s coming from. Could also be used to see if there aren’t any sneaky exploders or exploding plants on the other side of a wall, so that the driller doesn’t drill his way into the afterlife. He could also use it for a quick check for Cave Leeches. All of that in exchange for more light. Tough choice.
Since the text is already long enough, I will post what I thought for the Gunner in #suggestion-discussion
most of times if i spawn afther others game drops me in midle of 20 bugs and i spawn dead .there is no time to trow sheald of decoy.i think when u spawn u shoud have 1-2 second time to react
@sullen dove I made a suggestion about this already.
Individual Drop Pod
A new feature of the DRG Base is the Individual Drop Pod. Now when you are late to the mission you can select your loadout, get a quick drink, then drop in to the mission when you're good and ready. You also have full comms with your te...
I really sugest to hire more voice actors to this game. It's like one voice actor for each class with different tone. Even when you enter the mission, you can hear the talk between characters, its always Driller and Scout, even if they are not there.
More cosmetics would be cool too, tbh. Removing the lvl's limit, coz right now 25th lvl is the higest you can get.
If we removed the level limit how would we promote our dwarves?
i feel like if they got different voices at this point it would feel wrong
like when you first start playing its weird that theyre one voice
but thats how itd feel now to veteran players if they suddenly changed em
and then theyd have to decide which character retains the original voice while the others change
New class that has a hammer or axe as a weapon and a force field shield. The character would emit light around in a limited field of view. Jump height would be a double jump or even a jet pack, would have a pistol for 2nd
when we put in the hardcore mode, we shold use the drone ;-;
Could we have actual upgrades with equipment? Night vision/heat sensing goggles. Improved visibility but doesn't highlight minerals as well or turns off with flares? Respirators decreasing poison damage, or even helmets decreasing fall damage?
In regards to more voice actors, be kinda interesting to have an option to select a different voice for a dwarf. Like back in the day of worms.
What about a mission modifier where there's interference of some kind and supply drops don't land where intended
More weapons sounds good to me. Going from 16 guns to 24 would really make your load out design more personalized. Maybe the third option for a gun would be kind of niche, something kind of different from the other types they currently have. You wouldn't use it all the time but you wouldchanging it up situationally per mission. I think it would encourage people to ask their squad mates what build style they are going to use. I think engagement seems to be something that is hard to draw out of a lot of people. So if there is more incentive to make sure that you synergize well with your team, I think it would make the game even friendlier.
Honestly, at this point I think the game needs more game modes more than anything else. There's only like five (don't know for sure if I remember them all), and that is all you do in the game.
Agreed. Biomes are great, but more mission variety would be good. We have mining runs, salvage, egg hunt, elimination, and extraction. These are GREAT game modes, make no mistake.
The only problem is you do them over and over.
We need a lot more random elements to appear in a missions to make each one feel more different, or more mission options.
Stuff like dreads appearing, unpredictable variances in enemy spawn (A Mactera-only swarm!? There was a swarm incoming warning and not a single glyphid!) or stuff like the earthquakes in magma core, but with more permanent effects maybe? perhaps a quake drops rocks that can hurt players, mobs, or set off bombplants? In summation: More modifiers, more random in-mission events, and more missions. Maybe give slight extra rewards for surviving those extra random events as well, to reward adaptation to surpising mission changes.
Take for example the salvage mission. Rather than try to salvage a drop pod, you start the uplink, only to find out the pod is too damaged to repair, and so you have to make a mad dash to an extraction point while enemies spawn and go after you full bore.
Emergency Evacuation by tenletterz posted this at June 5, 2019 at 11:46PM : https://trello.com/c/nEnQhi6M
struggle mechanic for cave leeches? similar to the frozen mechanic
Make the drunk callouts trigger much sooner and last longer, instead of near passout levels of inebriation. It’s no fun getting wasted pre mission then stumble around for 30 minutes barely able to see anything in absolute silence.
Also allow us to take drinks down into the caves
The Driller's satchel is a pretty powerful weapon, everyone knows that. However, I beleive it could be thrown a bit further away, because right now the distance you can throw it is pretty damn short (not even enough to stay away from the explosion).
Idea for a new mission type: Rescue My idea for this is a party goes down, and Mission control sends you to bring them back to the medical bay in the space rig. The drop pod would stay down the whole mission, and you need to carry the four dwarves back to the drop pod (the dwarves would act as heavy objects). There could also be a time limit that you have to complete the mission in. A rescue would explain how you end up back in the medical bay after a failed mission rather than like a team you do a salvage mission for (you just happen to always be in a place mission control can quickly send a team to rescue you). Remember to
or
How about a couple bugs get in the lander or rig and you have to flush them out.
Would be interesting, but I don't know how you would make the mission long enough.
Asteroid detonation missions. Hoxxes has a lot pf nasty stuff floating in orbit, so what if the station is rendered at risk to a stellar impact, and they send miners to plant special charges to fragment such asteroids, and harvest anything on them as they do but with a VERY short window before the charges have to be planeted and blown. After that happens, you have to scramble to the evac as the map breaks around you.
Think fissures on the magma core or glacial strata biomes, only deep enough you can KO from falling down, and constantly more and more and more of them appear until the entire map is all empty space from fissures?
Could call them rockbreaker missions .
A rival corporation of goblins that try to sabotage your missions by leving traps and other tricks.
i just want the resupply pod to drop in a random spot around the place you called it to
and i think that driller should get 50% frost resistance, engi - 50% radiation resistance, gunner - 25% projectiles damage resistance, scout - partial immunity to slows like webs and regular bites
as an armor upgrade of course, or make it so you could choose which one you want
right, got a few suggestions. Lemme see if I can remember them...
oh, right. can we get more visual indicators of what equipment teammates are using? for example:
you know if an engineer is using a gemini or an advanced turret based on the look of the turret itself. but you dont know if an engineer has the fall-damage-dampening upgrade on his platforms or if a gunner has the fall damage reduction or the faster movement speed upgrade for his grapple lines
less likely to make it in suggestion: i dont suppose we could get a pickaxe upgrade to a: swing faster, or b: break harder materials in less swings?
A mining strength buff option would be nice, yeah. Driller had that prior too the power attack update rather than sharper pick to buff damage IIRC.
More pick upgrades is good.
Suggestions: 1. 5-10 seconds of invisibility after leaving 1man drop pods, unless you move or shoot. Because joining a game in progress and dying instantly isnt fun. 2. Personal Blacklist that warns you about ppl you dont like in games you might join. 3. Re-join button when you restart the game after crash. 4. Indicators for grenade type in HUD. 5. Make tiny bits of ground, left hanging in air after digging around, disapear. 6. More specialised upgrades to trade one stuff for another, like lower grenades pool for faster flare regen etc 7. Loadouts that can be changed when you choose a class for already running mission.8. Allow for more different easily visible marks with pointer. 9. Add back an escape pod icon.
I dont provide much explanations because those suggestions are very simple and pretty much just fixes/crutches for existing flaws.
heres a suggestion that's basically just a wish on my part that isn't likely to ever make it in game: a weapons testing area to let you practice with any weapon and weapon upgrade in the game in a try-before-you-buy sort of way, letting you work out what sort of style you prefer as you shoot down targets (which may or may not be barrels)
@empty wigeon There is a firing range placeholder on the second floor of homebase so its probably in plans.
Excellent...
All I want is a stomping boot perk. Jumping on swarmers squishes them.
Glyphid slammers could do this?
A drink or perk that reduces the slow from enemies
or just the ability to jump and squish swarmers caught underfoot like a mario jump.
Hazard 6 pls
A medic class that heals by handing out beers
Suggestion: pls nerf exploders. At least a little. The smol ones, have them make noise as they creep up on you, something distinctive to warn players who are paying attention. (Ones who ARENT paying attention, well, that's their lookout.) For the big ones: First, make them slightly less common, because I swear any mission I see an orange exploder I see two or three bulk dets. Two: REduce their death explosion radius. Having them hit everything around them, fine. Having them hit everything 10 feet from them in clockwise holes is a little... Yeah.
that's what makes it fun though
game should have some challenges not just be a walk in the park
Haz 5 is enough ATM, but more non-hazzard challenges is what I want
cave size 4-5, and cave complexity 4-5
i still think that if they allowed the kick mechanic to be used on swarmers it would be so much fun
kick them against walls and watch them explode
swarmer kick ball
like the zombie head soccer game in blood
Nerf the giant exploders.
One hit kills are kinda shit
it's a nuke with the range of a mouse trap, do not get near
Allow chatting in the mission completion screen. (why not?)
heres a suggestions, dont get close to bulks , thats a health hazard
Obvious suggestion: let the laser pointer use pre recorded voice lines. 'platform here' 'flare here' 'dig here' and such things you point out to teammates. Controllers have 4 face buttons, so could assign at least three of those to that.
Maybe have 'platform here' turn into 'use this platform' when aimed at an existing platform, and the forth could be 'zipline here'
In other words, specifically calling out each classes utility to be used at the location without stopping to type
A way for the game to detect and give you achievements that are impossible to get for veteran players (ie. approved greenbeard and total makeover).
Make the "If Only I Got Paid For This..." at least feasable or fix the barrel game because in its current state you need a near perfect score when the hoop velocity is constantly changing
Ore Mimic
makes u feel fooled ore bamboozled
It will add an more unexpected felling to the game. Not like geting in to that specific cave that u know is the end of the level ore hearing the sound the creature makes a bit ahead of time so u know what u are gona be up against. it is more like being aware it exists but not whit ur own eyes witch is what we most of the time use to know what is true. also it would make no sound not until it awakes.
so it is more surprising
Even if people would know they existed they wouldn`t be able to tell the difference so ther is a chance that while u are worried on 2 ore lodes and get more careless overtime u may get surprised on that time. So i tought it could look like nitra cus i always felt like Nitra looked like a hedgehog so it would get up and stabb me ore what ever function it would be but it would get the key add u would feel surprised and also fall down and be downed. i also tought he could maybe stun the miner that hits it and the other ones have to help him out like a cave leech ore a mactera graber does.
Suggestion: Daily priority assignments as well as weeklies.
in the works. should be this month
it was the last thing on the timeline from last year.
Mission Type Suggestion: Decoy
Synopsis:
"Alright miners, listen up. Not too far from here is a nest absolutely teaming with alien bugs and - more importantly - a real mother lode of gold and other valuable ores. Its far to dangeous too send our valuable team of aces into, as guarded as it is, but that's where you lot come in. We will be dropping you just outside the nest to keep its guards distracted while the real team does the real work. Do us proud, miners!"
Description:
The idea of this mission type would be a survival mission, with swarms triggering on regualr intervals. You would be dropped down in a standard drop pod, which unlike in other mission stays around. The cave would be similar to an Aquara mission, and similarly would have no Molly, but also no armed extractor. The game play loop would revolve around players touching down, knowing they had one minute before bugs started showing up to gather materials. From there, a new wave would be called every 90 seconds, forcing the team to split their attention between gathering materials and killing bugs before swarm in. The longer they are there, the more bus would be spawned, with the pod opening back up only after 15 minutes on the ground. As an alternative to the usual find and mine method, this mission type can also have a signifigantly higher rate of loot bug spawns, forcing players to gather nitra from their exploded corpses to keep their clips full.
Loadout presets
In the equipment terminal, every class should have 2-4 preset slots that can be switched between at a click. You can choose a set of guns and upgrades and perks for that class, and the game will save that in the currently selected preset slot. You can then switch to a different preset slot, and equip a different selection of guns and upgrades and perks.
This will allow players to coordinate what guns and upgrades they want to use together in advance, and be able to instantly switch to that selection of gear when they want to change up their build. As more gear gets added, it's getting more cumbersome to swap out loadouts and upgrades and remember what synergizes with what. Allowing players to save their builds and quickly swap them will encourage players to use a build that best fits the current mission, rather than sticking to the most generalist build, as totally re-tooling your kit for every single mission is time consuming and not very fun
Procedurally and randomly generated side quests / missions that can occur during a mission.
I think, in terms of difficulty options and consistancy across such, I have an idea. Make it so enemies individually are the same across difficulties, but rather than having artificial scaling, make it so more of the harder variants (such as slashers/guards) appear rather than just scaling up the same enemies. Thus making elites spawn more often on harder difficulties, and special variants taking up a larger percentage of normal swarms. (This might also open up new variant options for enemies such as mactera and the like.) On another note, to make 'death spiralling' less of a thing, I'd recommend health-packs. Not free, but available from Molly after depositing red-sugar, which would be able to be collected when at full health. I feel like this would make harder difficulties less of a 'same but harder' but a more interesting and more difficult experience. (ping me in #suggestion-discussion if you'd like to discuss such.) I do feel it would require a rework, but the end result could be quite neat.
Suggestion name, Difficulty rework.
Make there be special drunken reload animations (eg: trying to put the mag into the wrong port, putting shells in backwards)
I wish we could just get a Mule with the Jukebox on it.
Suggestion: Health insurance affects the amount of resources you get when you fail a mission. If you rarely fail missions this will be better and higher than if you fail heaps
Add an achievement called "Supervisor". You get it by standing around the entire mission and not helping. No kills, no mining, no revives. Must be in the mission from the beginning until successful completion.
thats gonna encourage all kinda bullshit behavior
Sometimes I like to do missions on my own well not really cause I have my bestfriend Bosco the cheery chap to always helps me get through missions by myself. But I could not help but notice with all of our wonderfully colorful dwarfs wandering space our buddy Bosco only comes in yellow. So maybe giving the chap a few color pallets and skins would be nice to see for our little friend!
Bosco cosmetics...
THEYRE REAL
VANNEVARIABLER IS A PROPHET
Suggestion 1: Expanding on the bounty board to be able to attempt mission seeds others have failed on.
- Team fails a hard mission due to the terrain seed being more difficult, the mission then gets advertised on the bounty board for others to attempt too, the more teams that fail said seed the bigger the reward increase.
Suggestion 2: Being able to retry seeds for say 20% of the total reward at the end could also be a nice mechanic, sometimes I've had an insane terrain generation and I'd love to have been able to share it with others to try too.
returning to awesome caves sounds fun, though low priority.
Also, holy crap did I really just prophesize this, or am I and the creators just on the same wavelength?
Mini Suggestion: Blue Sugar crystals that temporarily boost shields or reinforce them in some ways. Maybe a bit more rare but a useful strategic point for higher difficulty missions where combat requires more thought. I'd imagine it being a good point to go and overcharge your shields before fighting a Dreadnought for instance.
Giant moths that steal ur glowsticks and fly of with them
this game is nice...epic battles and maps do not feel repetitive at all...awsum..
but it is like a cake...still need s the icing and cherrie on top
I think the weekly raids and these new craftable cosmetics will help with that. Still want even more complex and crazy caves though.
Real question: Where's my friggin cigar?
we've already got alcohol references, might as well add tobacco
The gunner is even smoking on the title screen
that sounds like a cosmetic you could purchase
you have to get the recipe and then roll your own
karl died with all the cigars
suggestion: Allow digging together in tight spaces. When you hit a digging dwarf with your pick, their pick gains the power of yours to mine faster together!
suggestion: fart button - call out to your team mates using your beer farts during missions and on the space rig
suggestion: dreadnought dance parties - equip scouts with a special disco flare that allows players to dance on the corpses of stinky dreadnoughts. takes the salute to a whole new level.
Customizable pickaxes
My suggestion is not to brush endless mode under the rug and pretend like we haven't all been waiting for it. keep up the good work , but we are watching.

Milestone rebalance and achievements. by tanelorn posted this at June 7, 2019 at 10:38PM : https://trello.com/c/ge9pLY4S
Milestones: Milestones give perks almost completely for mission choice only. It is almost meaningless as
My suggestion is fix the netcode and polish up performance. Lol
Suggestion: Make walls containing buried resources more obviously visible. Give them a different name that denotes it from regular terrain around it, possibly give it a different scanner color (like how aiming at dirt has a yellow scanner screen). the game already differentiates the wall types, as if you point bosco at a normal wall he lights it up, but if you point bosco at a loot-hiding wall he digs for it.
Add the option to bump mugs together. Maybe bind it to Mouse 2 since Mouse 1 is drink?
One Born Every Minute: enemies spawn such as stronger grunt variants.
One Born Every Second: enemies like hives and swarmers spawn very much.
Underwater biome? SCUBA gear?
One thing: VR
..underwater is never happening
Would be great if you could order a packed lunch or something and then deploy a lunchbox for a health recovery and possibly a temporary buff to damage/speed/something. Dwarf comments could be "Smoko!", "It's Munch Time!", "I'm on Break", etc
Maybe an unpopular opinion, but one that I think would help a lot of frustration: slightly change the hue of the Common Rock in Salt Pits. It's lovely, but at the end of the day it's too damn close to the Nitra color, and makes nitra just a touch too hard to see on the walls
suggestion?,,,how about colouring the map when you press TAB to see the mine...so where you have been make it a different colour,...so i know i was there before..same in some games and in doom 2016 the map changes colour where you have been
Maaybe just maybe the driller could recieve a primary weapon that is not aoe something similar to a Retro Lancer from Gears of War it would shoot similar bullets like the plasma charger but faster with less dmg and smaller projectiles and you could melle with it since the Retro Lancer has a hecking chainsaw attached to it
A suggestion to add more mining-related upgrades to pickaxes, as that's what they're for, right?
I know this is probably already something that's been brought up, but can we see a streamlining of the netcode? last two solo missions were almost unplayable because I had freezes every few seconds.
Suggestion: Add sandwiches to the abyss bar. When we get back... It's sandwich time.
let driller's drills mine resources. I mean, why not?
We need a better perk System pls, you said that all those perks are just placeholders a long time ago and I still feel like they very much are just that. You said that you obv would change them later on, but you didnt. It's the only Thing keeping me from coming back because everybody runs around exactly the same game play wise. I just feel robbed of the experience to make up your very own special build, Do you know what I mean?
What if instead of the turret whip being a shotgun skill, it would be a LMG gun platform skill replacing Target Prioritization? You would paint a target, and the Sentry gun would shoot the overloaded shot at the target.
A suggestion: the option to choose women dwarves as an aesthetic choice (w/ same physical build and beard of course)
So, where are the boss fights?
Also is there a way to get the infected molly to spawn?
the memorial hall could use some sprucing up to give it a more epic feel some dramatic lighting or more contrasting materials. besides the big statues it just kinda looks like the rest of the ship and not really a shrine. achievement posters or medals. it would be cool that if killing enough of each type of bug got you a mounted head or something.
like it’s the only thing the company actually invests in. more black marble and gold
really fancy barrels
I am going to guess it has been mentioned before but, what about purchasable assets? Like maybe pay some gold or loose a percentage of the take at the end in exchange for better guns on the mine head for extraction missions? Or purchase a lower level style BET-C for elimination missions. Just a couple of ideas?
Make it so you can see your feet when you look down
10000iQ idea right here: 2 words, Minecart Getaways
Ingame dwarf musician that you can activate in the Abyss bar with a few tracks. (Got a full idea, hit me up if interested in more)
A new biome deep in the asteroid. Basically, it's a giant parasitic creature several kilometers in diameter that spreads across the cavern system, engulfing the surrounding space with its biomass.
I've done several missions where the spawns never stopped coming and we failed after 10-15 mins of running around and eventually running out of ammo. Not sure what spread of enemies spawned to make that happen, but we had multiple Nexus & Multiple wardens in several of the caves, even after we cleared them out enemies kept coming.
It was actually pretty fun.
Seems like it should be a mission type, like a low % chance that any mission immediately gets aborted and turns into a hold out mission because of unexpected massive glyphid presence.
depends on the mission, but IIRC Elimination missions don't have swarms, they just constantly spawn mobs. Maybe Eggs too.
Here's a suggestion:
If you use your super pickaxe smash ability but dont hit anything at all, maybe it recharges just a bit faster?
An achievement named dwarfakin that you get for killing an certain amount of qronar younglings
PS4 controller support :/
A perk that increases mining speed by 1.5x. Lots of people have been asking for mining speed upgrades or mods and I think it would be very balanced as a perk.
I know mining speed is a controversial topic, so to give some context, let's look at some numbers. Taking my old speedrun of 200 morkite where Qmining was used to increase mining speed:
Time spent in mission was 4:00 or 240s
Time spent mining in the mission was 40s (overestimate)
For the sake of argument, let's round up the impact of Qmining to 2x speed (it wasn't quite that large). So without Qmining the time spent mining would have been 280s.
240/280 x 100 is 85%. Doubling the mining speed resulted in a 15% decrease in mission time. This is based of a situation where the player is speedrunning so mining time relative to mission time is much larger, and therefore a mining speed increase would make a larger difference. The values were also overestimated to make sure I wasn't underestimating the impact of a mining speed increase. This would mean the actual impact would be far lower than my value.
So you could safely double the mining speed, and at most, it would have an impact of 15%. A 1.5x mining speed increase would therefore be balanced relative to the other perks available.
when satchel charges are placed, they should retain their bubble visual for damage but also tint any pieced of terrain/ore that will be destroyed in the blast
@cobalt glen I play exclusively with a PS4 controller....
Can we get an option in the server browser to only see 'latejoin duplication enabled/disabled'? So you can search by people looking for one-of-each-class.
Make it so you can kick other dwarves. Then you can this is sparta them into the barrel hoop
Have it so 'slag' (stuff that forms around explosions) becomes glass in the sand biome.
new boss called a brood mother, which looks like a double sized dreadnaught with a brood nexus on its back?
A piece of equipment like flares or grenades but lets you plant a stake in the ground. This could be used to show if you've been somewhere or to mark a specific spot to come back for later.
Suggestion: Add a timer to the Last-Stand perk to show how long you have left to act before going down
@dusk vector that's already a thing in game, it's called waypoints.
He probably meant specific markers for regions explored OR to explore yet.
Some people would say FLARES are a good hint, but we often end up throwing flares into a tunnel without exploring it right away.
so the Mk3 - heavy suit for the gunner looks cool as hell but some of the beards and helmets clip through it maybe you could adjust some of the height settings or do some edits to make helmets fit more flush with the suit rather than clipping
Suggestion: Every April Fools the glyphids all get googly eyes! 👀
Perhaps a melee attack that isn't the pickaxe? Where this would be obtained or go to is up to the devs, but I'd like a stomp of sorts? Only thing I thought that the dorfs could weaponize/use against the glyphids (certainly not going to hit Macteras or anything in the air anytime soon, another problem is this may invalidate the pickaxe entirely as a source of damage when emptied on ammo). Crunch the bugs!
CURBSTOMP THE DREADNOUGHT!
We're Dwarves though... The Pickaxe is the mightiest weapon.
True that
there should be more class-specific passives that increase team diversity and class uniqueness like the driller being able to mine with his pick more effectively previously, so some variations would be movement speed (gunner being the slowest, scout being the fastest), shield and health values (gunner being the heaviest, scout being the lighest), pick mining strength (driller having 1+ mining strength), and repair speed (engineer being the fastest)
Not a dev suggestion but a player suggestion... next time you play Radioactive Exclusion Zone put HBO's Chernobyl miniseries soundtrack on in the background
I think it's a real shame that there aren't more minecraft easter eggs. It's really a missed oppurtunity
Hello Miners ! I have some ideas for upgrades 27 and 28 ! Give me your opinions !
DEEP ROCK GALACTIC UPDATES
27: Bosses Update
-Add differents bosses for the elimination mission in all biomes (not only glyphids, it can be big Macteras or something else) The dreadnought stay in the game for the lava biome.
-New mission type : -Hunt : The players have to find and kill a creature (It can be different types of creatures like 3-4 so the game would never be the same) the mission is almost the same as the eliminations missions but the creature is not in a chrysalis (so the enemy is not a baby so he is bigger) the mission is harder but there is only one creature to kill once this is done you will get the head of the creature. A new room will be the trophy room (where there is the head of the differents creatures you kill).
-Armor upgrade : -Red Sugar Stock : Can stock up to 50 red sugar for later.
-Big red button : You can activate a button that destroy your armor to deal damages and stun (for 6 seconds) enemies around you.
-New enemy : Atomic glyphid Bulk detonator (Radioactive Exclusion Zone) like a Bulk detonator but also leave a huge radioactivity zone that stay for 30 seconds.
28: Training Update
-Add an Arena mod : you have to survive as many waves as possible against hord of enemies, there are no minerals to find just the enemies in a cave with a bosses or a big creatures every 10 waves you'll earn gold at the end of the game equal to the ammount of waves you survive.
-Shooting range : (The famous close room) its a simple shooting range where you can try every guns or grenades against false glyphids or macteras. It can also be tried in a little cave (like the tutorial one) with real enemies.
-New mineral : Compressed Nitra : really rare can only be find one time per game can call a big resupply pod with four supply racks each restoring 100% health and ammo to the user also give a BET-C and on the resupply ; 2 turrets that can't be moved (place it carefully !)
-New enemy : The minerals eater (Fungus Bogs) Look like a squid, clings on the dwarves head and sucks the minerals can only be killed by other players or by bosco (it will be an icon on the screen to know there is a minerals eater on your head just like for the leech cave) once killed he will explodes and the minerals will be dropped.
Sorry for my bad english !
Suggestion: Personal supply drop. Costinng 1/4th of the regular drop (20 nitra), it can resupply a single dwarf.
3 words, Weapon preset buttons
@sick yacht I'm a fan of just about all the suggestions apart from the Compressed Nitra
I personally think it's too much of a clutch ore that can really just cushion the difficulty if it allows you to get a hold of a BET-C off the board
Be it super rare or not. I feel like removing the BET-C part of the ore and keeping the turrets is still good enough
The last few times playing it has been impossible to extract. The drop pod ends up on a ledge and the ramp goes out to nowhere and stops in mid air.. so maybe make it so the drop pod lands in a way that player can get on or make the ramp extend until it hits ground.
I have an small idea that my friends and I thought of together. So when you buy a round, all four players get a mug filled frothy dwarven spirit (or one thirsty player gets four) to get smashed before a mission or celebrate the success of one. In celebration, I bought my friends and I a round the first thought we all had was, "Why can't we cheers?" A small thing and I won't love the game any less if I never see it, but I just think it'd be cool if right click was cheers and left click was drink. Thanks for listening!
Just press V while holding the mug
I had a neat idea for a gamemode, basically it would be a timed gamemode where you had to get as much loot as you can dump it into one of three mini mules that had like a limited amount that they could hold and they would run back unload and then come back and when the timer hit its mark the game gets very hard depending on the area so ice zone would be a permament blizzard and rad zone would sap you shields or something like that and plot wise mission control would tell you that the scans picked up a motherlode but the area is highly unstable due to (whatever reason he gives for the area so shifting magma, bug horde, avalanche that sort of catastrophic element) its mainly jsut a reason to use the mini mules but would love to hear some thoughts
i had an idea for a salvage type mission where the dwarves drop in individually into 4 separate cave systems (sm-med in size) in search of something and once one of the miners finds it they regroup and finish the mission
cave leech have grab you
Is there any chance to add some new mini Boss to next Update? It will be very fun!
The only thing that I do not like about this game is the audio. Firing your gun sounds quiet compared to people shooting their guns 20 feet away. It should be the other way around. There are also issues with the audio fading in and out and the game choosing what it wants you to hear. To me this is the audio equivalent of NPCs popping in and out right in front of you. I also with that the ears ringing would apply to more than just friendly fire explosives like the exploder bugs and the explosion fruits.
extra dense/long swarms as a mission hazard
The ability to paint armor like how you can with skin and beards
I suggest larger variability in missions.
We never saw the results of BET_C or mini-mules usage, as we never had missions where drop pod would stay for us
Only the results
I have an Idea for engineer's foam launcher. Terrain launcher, launches sticky floors, smooth ice floors, maybe even hot rock platforms to stop the glyphids. I think doing that would add more uses for platforms than just to be platforms or doorway fillers.
@rocky trout Thanks ! Yes you're right a BET C is maybe too much only the turrets is already good enough
@neat quiver driller CC could be used to make slippery ice
speaking of ice, would love to see a different type of map in the glacial strata, one that uses a lot more of that dark slippery ice. that stuff is so much fun to slide around on
more of this please
Rare Cave Generation by tenletterz posted this at June 11, 2019 at 08:30PM : https://trello.com/c/dlEO18pe
More drinks at the Abyss Bar that can let you choose certain bonuses and hazards on missions for a bit of risk reward. Good for group play. Ideas such as Franz Fizzy Flat Ale that gives you low gravity, Mactera Melon Medley that gives you Mactera swarm, and the Silver beard Static Slosher that could give shield disruption.
Can we get something that stops people from joining you when you are solo, only to shoot you in the face and leave, since apparently you can't report them when the mission fails as bosco doesn't show up?
Idk a report system or something for the malicious players which doesn't go away 3 seconds after they leave the game from killing you?
I had almost fully completed a dreadnaut solo on really good modifiers for a guy to join, shoot me in the face just after I'd summoned the dreadnaut and then the guy left after killing me within like 15-20 seconds
Why don't you play in private party ?
suggestion for Jaz, Using the solo mode for the game, you can get a sickass doggy drone too
This is suggestions, not suggestion discussion.
I've posted my response but TLDR Jaz might have wanted to have a public mission people could drop into, but then got teamkilled.
maybe if they fixed the blasted delay on the suggestions discussion and it's absence in this channel?
Suggestion (I'd even say requirement): Generate more Nitra (1.5x at least) if a mission has a negative mutator
Glacial strata, Hz5, Exploders infest, 3/3, Elimination (3 dreads): After killing a second one, all Nitra was gone. To make it worse, an extra (4th) dread was spawned. Failed the mission obviously, even though we could make it, if we had enough ammo (nitra).

cryo weapons should put out the exposed magma in magma core. and fire weapons should burn off slowdown sludge
It'd be great if BOSCO could shoot at and destroy poison spores fungus.
They're really annoying to deal with in the fungus bogs
without wasting ammo.
Some loot bugs fight back?
Alternate gamemode idea: Rescue mission. This is not a gamemode you can select from the mission select, but rather a special type of mission that occasionally pops up on the surrounding monitors. The mission sends you down into another player's cave who missed the escape pod, and revolves around finding them and leading them to your drop pod. The entire mission would be in "escape mode" (where the enemies continuously swarm) which would mean it is a very intense, yet short mission.
I think a mission like this would be cool in Deep Rock Galactic because it would encourage you to stick with your teammates and hold out for a rescue mission at the end rather than abandon them when the timer gets low
I've had an idea for another type of cave generation that can occur, specifically more often in the Magma Core biome:
Was wondering if it would be possible to have some sort of underground ravine area, in a similar fashion to how Minecraft does them but with more depth. It could be an optional path to take but offers a higher risk higher reward scenario due to a lava hazard at the bottom. This would suit teams prepared for more tedious traversing along the ravine walls. Have ores placed in tricky spots along the way.
A screenshot for reference, I'd maybe picture this but with more depth and of course with lava along the bottom
And most importantly, a lot darker
I also thought up the idea of an underground lake of water or lava dotted with icebergs of diamond, and the roof of the cave is where the resources are.
Perk Balancing (Perk Categories) by tenletterz posted this at June 12, 2019 at 09:51PM : https://trello.com/c/tkhmyUHJ
The current metagame for perks is having iron will and field medic as mandatory perks to maximize survivability and success, which reduces the amount of choice around perk building.
Perk categories can encourage choice without having to modify the perks themselves in order ...

Make it so you can salute during the mission endscreen or maybe emote?
Mule Upgrades
Better skill System (it's clear that the current skill System is a placeholder, you even said way back that it is a placeholder and you will integrate way more useful skills etc.)
Two suggestions: 1. Change the Dark Morkite from a 20% extra morkite to 10% extra to all ore... makes it more usable for every other mission type that isn't mining. 2. Give Bosco a grabber for Blooms, Fossils, and Shrooms. It can be an alternative attachment for the rockets that you can switch prior to leaving the base.
I absolutely second the idea for Bosco to have the ability to grab items like fossils
+1 to that idea. The more players you have, the more equipment and variety you have to get around the map. Since equipment doesn't scale with player numbers it just puts solo players at a massive disadvantage.
Having bosco being able to grab things should defo be a thing.
Because let's be frank, when you're a class like Engie in solo, getting to fossils on the ceiling is nigh impossible, or requires way too much effort to get to.
Bosco being able to grab stuff and bring them back to you (Like a, y'know.. dog.) would streamline solo play much more.
Armaggedon Modality!! by dante758 posted this at June 13, 2019 at 01:57PM : https://trello.com/c/lut5Bjsv
I saw the other night "Armaggedon" the movie with Bruce Willis and Ben Affleck and I thought that it would have been awesome to have a modality where the DRG team is sent to destroy an asteroid on a collission course with a planet or something.
Name of the suggestions/ idea:...
An alternative to cold as the grave for the minigun that boosts the gunners movement speed based on overheat, to the point where it reaches battle rush level speed at red
this is more a question than a suggestion:
Will you add more guns to the game?
Weapon License (Player Rank 10) : Ultimate Pickaxe
It'll be a pickaxe melee weapon that's twice the size of the normal pick and will replace the dwarf's secondary weapon. Left click to attack. Hold left click to power attack once you've unlocked it separately for this weapon. Right click to mine using the Ultimate Pickaxe if that's what's currently equipped (like, using an assault rifle and right click will still use the basic pickaxe). Upgrades will focus on the power attack (example: tier 2 upgrade called "Mjolnir's Electro Enhancement" to add electric damage and chance to stun to power attack) or the mining capabilities (example: tier 2 upgrade called "Ore Shatterer" to make it so power attacking a mineral vein will entirely mine it).
Edit: Just to be clear, the Ultimate pickaxe should never make the Driller obsolete as it will never mine faster than the basic pickaxe, just better than the basic pickaxe which would still make it an interesting option for the Driller to become like a melee tank type character
So my friend and I were doing a salvage op and we we're at the refueling when a detonater came up on us. We had to leave the circle or it would've one shotted us. Long epic fight unsued and right as we beat it and felt like we won we failed for being outside the ring for too long. This was pretty dumb considering the detonater would've one shotted us in the circle. Might wanna look into having detonators show up while you're in a circle
Detonators need nerfed in general. Too many instant KOs and this isn't enough weak point to actually kill them so you have to grind through about half their health which is a big waste of ammo
no no no, that's where you run a "Queen's gambit" and feed one of yours to the bulk so it blows up utterly, then come in and revive him. he's not permadead until you all are.
It would be neat if the Gunner had an alternative fire for the zipline that had to be 90 degrees (straight up) but allowed you to climb at that angle. I feel it would add some much needed vertical mobility in the game, in addition to spicing up the Gunner's mobility role.
I don't know if that's a good idea or not.
it would be nice to add new missions for more diversity in the game.
I've been thinking about a mission that's been going on in my head for a while:
a big mission to eradicate a very big wave of monsters that is coming in non-stop.
I explain, the objective of the mission is to reduce the number of these damn big bugs that prevents them from mining in areas of high interest to other mining teams.
so we're being sent to an area without interesting resources (except nitra and gold)
to activate a hormonal pod, which attracts all these monsters! (which is also called a diversion to allow the other mining site to suffer less attack... in theory)
the mission only starts when you press the big red button on the pod (there is no big wave of insect during your preparation and nitra harvest)
but when the mission is launched... prepare to collaborate as never before!
because it is a non-stop wave of monsters coming from several directions for 10 to 15 minutes (duration to be reviewed)
and during this incessant wave of insects, it is possible that a boss may arrive in the middle... see 2 in total (let's say the difficulty) that moves with the horde!
(so prepare the ammunition pods in advance ;) )
Now let's move on to the platform with the hormonal pod!
the platform is equipped with 4 turrets with a high firing rate! their damage is low, but their high ammunition capacity and their perforating bullet will be very useful to you! (you will have to check if you decide to activate the turrets when you press the red button or they have been active since the platform landed)
and 2 lighting spots.
I made a mini plant of the platform very badly drawn and filled with mistakes....
( Forgive me for spelling and grammar mistakes probably visible for miles, but I can't write in English, so I used an automatic translator for that! )
you find my idea interesting?
10-15 mins seems a little too long for an endless wave
is just sudgestion time, but yes that can be very long :/ maybe 6 - 8 min ?
6-8 fits more with other missions yes
@unborn stratus i think you mean pheremone pod? basically a big vat of bug stank that triggers the endless wave
yes ! pheromones ^^'
I made a mistake between hormones and pheromones ><
no big deal, everyone knows what you mean especially since they gave the scout a pheremone grenade just a few weeks ago
so would this actually open up a new/different cave system after you beat it?
idk, i just have idear of this mission, not for cave.
it might be an interesting mechanic to add to the game though, imagine if it was part of community based mining missions, the more teams that complete these missions grants access to special challenge missions with high payouts and rare minerals
in that could even be in the form of a special mission mutator popping up once or twice a day
maybe we can add this mission on rare event :)
grunt birthday party. -confetti pop-“yeeAaaaaa”
The ability once you hit the last rank needed for the mk5 armor allow the player to change what parts they want from the armor I.E. legs, chest, shoulders, and arms, as the items you can switch between but you must have the armor bought in order to use it
You could maybe add the ability to hear the dwarves arguing with each other about which alcoholic drink is best or something like one of them yelling at the other for forgetting to bring the sandwiches or something silly like that when loading into a mission with someone else.
Spawn limit on tough fuckin enemies like Nadeocyte Breeders. We went into a massive room with 3 OF EM on hazard 5 and couldnt even get to em
can we see ping before we join a game?
suggestion: more gibs, bug guts, blood. i think only exploders actually have limbs fly around, would like to have all bugs have a gib death if hit with heavy explosives etc
Would all the additional objects potentially make lag?
We have dwarves. We have a bar. We have music. We have sweet dance moves...
Why do we lack bar brawls?
No idea, the gibs would fade like the bodies do now though
Not too badly, DRG is low poly already. The issue is if they keep physics
add this weapon placement x)

super critical must be done now suggestion!
Increase the drinking speed animation at the abyss bar, so when you grab a drink if you start running for the ramp, it will be empty before you get there with enough time to toss the mug into the launch bay without stopping. haha
supergenius idea: mash the mouse button to chug faster
Seed saving:
Players are able to save and share cave generations
Method:
After a mission, under the continue button would be a "Save Cave" button which caves the generation. From here how the system differs. I will call it Minecraft Method (MM) and Mario Maker Method (MMM).
MMM:
Once a cave generation has been saved, the player has the option to upload it to a server from which players can download it from an in-game terminal. This terminal also displays the speed of each mission (Basically speed run leaderboard) which can be catagorised by Hazard level, Number of players and objectives completed.
cons
- Would require a dedicated server which could become costly
- People would upload a multitude of cave generations
MM:
The cave generation is saved locally allowing the host to select it when selecting a mission. People can then share the cave generations via external websites or within friend groups with USBs.
cons
- No speedrun leaderboard
- Is basically the opposite to MMM
Summary:
Seed sharing with maybe Speed run leaderboards
I have a proposition: a Node that is always open on the mission select, except instead of your typical mission, it's an arena mode where you and your mates drop in to a large cavernous room where waves of enemies will come out of tunnels on the walls, and at say, each round some nitra would rain down from the ceiling, and there would be a salvage type drop pod at one side of the room except you'd just have to start powering it up and survive until it is powered up, so the dwarves can leave whenever they want (theoretically) (and you could drop off resources in the drop pod)
nevermind on my idea
@unborn stratus Did an excellent proposition up above awhile back about a 10-15 minute nonstop wave, although more ammo would not go unappreciated.
Suggestion: Add an option to disable vibration for controllers. (My controller is a bit finnicky about it, but honestly its a feature it should have anyway)
Suggestion: Some gameplay effect to going into a mission drunk. If you're drunk enough to be having wobbly vision, maybe you swing your pick harder, yeah? if not against enemies, then at least to break harder materials in fewer hits
just a minor thing that really bugs me: the mule docking procedure isnt very polished. i mean it just floats up and disappears in the pod. the rest of the game is way more refined and since seeing the mule dock in every mission i think it deserves a bit more love. maybe this was already spoken of but i wanted to mention it. my suggestion: perhaps some tractor beam sucking the mule in a bay over the troop compartment.?!
Molly turns noclip on.
Also if Devs are taking a look at this section of the discrod server I would like to see some purchasable interior decorations that we can players spend our money on,some player are on the level where they have so much money they cant to anything to spend it.Only drinking alcoholic beaverages can solve their problem and that is unhealthy considering how cheap they are.We are in the future and those are still legal?!I'm just saying if players can only spend their money of alcoholo that would not look great on a commercial appointment....
Obviously I'm just jk please dont get offended D:
Add an alert sound before mission control contacts you like a double beep
I'm not sure if this has been suggested before, but maybe consider giving the dwarves unique voices and more unique personalities down the line? As of now they're all the same voice but pitch-shifted.
My friend and I had a really fun time playing a make shift game of football with a barrel while we where waiting for our mate to sort himself out. I think it'd be cool and fun if there was a location on the station that had a small pitch and a couple of goals to have a propa game of footy while we wait.
From now on footy the version of soccer in the deep rock galactic world.
Ability to upgrade the scanner and map!
Especially the ability to call out what class you want to notice something. Like getting scouts to go to platforms...
VC can help, but some upgrades to the tricorders would be good, yeah.
would be wonderful if when all players hit start at the same time, game paused. hitting start pauses in one player, and i understand why it wouldn't in multi but if everyone has it that way at the same time, it should pause until one person resumes game
ability to upgrade molly would be really cool
and an always on screen mini map
maybe that shows tags on it
Prehaps any increased radar support or similar information upgrades should be exclusive upgrades or class based. Like you can only have increased radar range OR a minimap. Else having class specifics: like the driller can see certain minerals (enori etc.) deposits and the Gunner can see big bugs
IDK, just thinking
Customizable flare colors would be sweet, I'd love to be able to unlock some unique colors for them
Thanks @livid garnet but idk if developer or modo notice my idear.
Some sparklers like the donator's mugs would be fun/silly
"The Company Special" skins for each weapon shouldn't always be blue and white, but mirror the main color scheme of the class - aka blue/white can stay for Scout, but give it a primarily red color scheme for the Engineer, yellow for the Driller, Green for the Gunner
change selecting cosmetics in the wardrobe to a list like in the shop rather than using the arrows since it would make choosing much faster, especially when you bought all the cosmetics
Show Player Prestige Color border and Stars in the Server Browser in the player classes
suggestion: sticky-flare upgrade, that acn be toggled on and off
Random mission button. Only thing you choose is the difficulty.
replace the 'weapons auto-reload' part of resupply perk with 'gain more ammo/health from resupplies'?\
Absolutely
Perhaps switch the sounds of turning a flashlight on and off. Just seems like it would fit more the other way around.
Alternative Tools for the classes to mirror the alternative weapon options.
Driller:
Mining Laser (only mines resource veins, rather than raw earth. Does so at a distance)
?
Engineer:
Rockcrete Foam Sprayer (Much more versatile but delicate in ammo management, this device can be used to seal small opennings, immobalize bugs caught by the foam it fires, or build crude foam structures like staircases or platforms)
? ()
Gunner:
Tesla Tower ()
Weboline Gun (A gun that fires masses of strong elastic, which form a web-like shape. On impact, a dwarf will bounce as if on a trampoline, allowing them to mitigate impact damage or use it for mobility, and jump on the webbing to bounce to a higher location.)
Scout:
Radar suit (AoE ping that outlines all mobs regardless of the light, and the walls of the cave within X meters)
Directional Intertial Damper (short-turn wallwalk, can be used to walk or run straight up a more than 90 degree angle, but lasts a short time, so you have to mine resting points on the way)
Will refine shortly.
SpecOps modulator, where you can't use flares bur the flashlight is a little better than normal. Some would say YYyYyYY just unbind the flares and play YYyyyY. Ye. But the flashlight is that worth like scout - shit.
Suggestion: The stucc gun, glue those big pesky glyphids in place... or laugh at fellow dwarfs caught in stucc gucc
STUCC GUCC
STUCC GUCC IS THE BIG YUCC
More flare mods:
Tier 3 (Unlocked on level 15): More Ammo (Same as tier 1) or Longer Duration (Same as tier 2, except, 25% stronger)
Tier 4 (Unlocked on level 20): Longer throwing range (Same as the perk) or Sticky Flares (similar to some grenades)
Throwing perk should be reworked if it gets added
New achievement suggestions:
The Company Special (Hidden) - Buy every available unlockable gear mod for each class.
First Aid - Help 50 downed teammates up on their feet again.
All In A Week's Work - Complete 7 Weekly Assignments.
You're So Vain... (Hidden) - Buy every non-blueprint cosmetic available in the game for one class.
Mineral Trader - Unlock the Mineral Trade Terminal.
Feel free to change the numbers as you see fit.
Add bulk detonators to the mixers.
New achievement suggestions (I didnt thought of specific names for them):
- Kill a bulk detonator (last shot/damage or be in a group that does that)
- Revive 50 downed teammates
- Buy all mods for weapons, armor and tools for one class
- Buy all mods for weapons, armor and tool for all classes
- Unlock a maximum level for a perk
- Kill a Glyph Dreadnought with pickaxe damage (last damage done to kill it)
- Buy all modifications for Bosco
- Host and complete 100 games
New class suggestion
Supporter
Primary gun - Laser beams (more penetration)
Secondary gun - Stun web, that stuns bugs in a small area
Alternative primary gun - Dual handcannons (big damage, less ammo)
Alternative secondary gun - Sticky goo, slows bugs and dwarves in a big area
First tool - Shield gun, a personal shield shot for dwarves that lasts about 30 seconds or until it breaks
Second tool - Personal Jetpack
Throwables - Acid grenade (like the acid spitter bug), spike grenade (like that plant), sticky bomb (needs to be activated manually)
"Dog" Armor Rig - Focused in supporting the team in general with reviving speed mods, more red sugar healing, bigger shields, carrying more ammo for itself
Upgraded Molly
- Hability to stun, but not damage, bugs near it every 5 seconds
- To action like a light beacon iluminating more the surroundings
- Laser point can order molly to shoot a flare in the air just like a flare gun (help light the surrounds and in localization in general)
New game modes: Rescue, Manager and Mecha battle
Rescue
One player is trapped somewhere, with ocasional enemies (weak ones to be balanced) spawning around him/her. The other 3 players to rescue him. On solo modo, it could be Bosco trapped and the player needs to rescue it. The surrounds have no light, requesting constant flares. The chave where the player is could vary from enviroment to enviroment (rock, dirt, stone, sand, ice, etc) and all the riches are there: 1 or 2 rare minerals, lots of gold and nitra. While the trapped player needs to defend him/herself, he/she can also mine for those riches giving the nitra needed for ammo for the rest of the team. I think Bosco could be programmed, in this case, to mine and deposit with MULE besides it.
Planning
One of the miners goes into a mechanic chamber where it can see the entire map. The map would be small. The manager player would point riches and minerals in all the map, with a flat 3D map in front of him, while the 3 other players would go mine and defend themselves. With solo mode, you could direct Bosco and mule to dig, mine and deposit. The manager chamber would be a big metal box/tower thing, with some turrents that he/she would need to reload from time to time. It could also be upgraded in-game using nitra or gold to unlock player guns replacing the standart turrets: flame thrower, ice gun, stun bombs, etc.
Mecha battle
A kind of tower defense. In a small area riches are scattered and need to be deposited or even mined. While some dwarves need to dig, mine and deposit, another one would need to defend the team in a big Mecha or even a big gun. Friedly fire is ON, of course. If it's a mecha, then it could move around together with the team at a slower pace. If it's a gun, then it could be a modification of the Aquarq's map where instead of having a big mine head with 2 turrets, one player it's inside a big gun to kill and shoot with lots/infinite ammo. For solo modo, the gun or mecha could be AI. To not create a dispute problem of the gun/mecha among players, it could overheat and eject players every X minutes, where they would land with a small parachute for nulifying fall damage.
About pickupable equipments, like the driller's Axes and explosive satchel, if you already have max charges and you pick up another one (even if accidentally) , it just dissapears.
I, personally, hate having to waste such a powerful explosive charge or useful axe when I'm completely out of ammo from my main weapons, so sometimes I just throw axes and satchels on the floor before restocking. And sometimes, in the rush of battle, I end up picking up more from the ones I left than I needed to.
I just thought: if you already have max charges from the equipment, maybe you couldn't pick up more from the floor. It's a small change, but it's still something

Expand the lore regard Karl, Build on the story as to why there are dwarves in space and why they are mining minerals from Hoxxes IV... Yes there is a poster about the outer rims etc in the memorial hall but that is no story... This game is basically Lego Rock Raiders in first person... that awesome old game had cut scenes that told the story as to how the Rock Raiders got to that planet and why they had to mine "Energy crystals" - it was to power their hyperdrive so they could get back home.... This game has serious potential for an actual story with amazing cutscenes etc... Which leads me to my main point... Multiplayer and mining and shooting bugs are great but add a story mode!!! Rock and Stone!
Two-handed axe that serves as either a main hand weapon or a secondary, likely a secondary. Don’t care who has it, I just want to go down into those tunnels and hack and slash every bug apart with a meaty hunk of dwarven made metal. ROCK AND STONE!
Slimes/Oozes
Slow and big. As their hp decreases, their size follows. They are specially vulnerable to fire, ice and energy weapons
Add chairs for sitting in the lobby. That's all.
I would like to see Class-specific utility mods for the armor. For example: The scout’s armor could have a harness so he can hang from the ceiling or wall without holding the trigger of his grappling gun. The engineer, a turret mount modifier, allowing him to install his turret onto Molly (I really want Molly to wear my turret like a happy little hat)
molly cosmetics
Also: some use for repaired mini mules. We can’t deposit on them, why were they sent on the mission? What is their purpose. And enemy-priority for the BET-C. It’s weird seeing missile payload fly at one Glyphid swarmer. Thanks for letting us players be apart of the brainstorming! Great game 👍
New beer suggestions
- More jumping power
- Running speed
- Mining speed
- Reviving speed
- More gems carrying capacity
Armchairs 😃
Just want to notify everyone that doesn't know, put the game on your SSD instead of your hard drive.
I went from around 70 fps to between 150 and 240 fps.
Spread the word around on this, since it's a massive gamechanger.
There's been a large amount of people who want a mining speed increase in some form or another, as you can guess I'm definately one of those people.
Here's the suggestion:
A perk that casues a 15% mining speed increase, everytime you hit terrain (not enemies) up to a max bonus of 60%. Wear's off as soon as you don't hit the next piece of terrain straightaway.
Why this is balanced:
- Doesn't work on enemies specifically so that it doesn't give a combat advantage.
- Mining speed has very little impact on a mission, but is an amazing quality of life thing for many people.
Think about how long you spend during a mission actually mining, it's around 10%. So even with double mining speed you're only saving 5% of time, which is well within perk terriority and would be totally balanced.
Yo why can't we have seatbelts or something when we start a mission. Seems dangerous
End droppod Suggestions
"you can always deposit on the side of the droppod" well sometimes we can't since most of the droppod is in the air so a deposit closer to entrance of the pod we can reach would be helpful or auto deposit resources when we enter pod at the end 😃
Instead of negating fall damage when you land on a unit (including teammates) it should split the damage among the two of you, allowing for more sensible fall rescues and goomba stomping unaware employees
using that to make goomba stomps a thing would be awesome
maybe change one of the perks so you can instead deal all fall damage to an enemy mob you land on
When the endgame goes live please bring back the flood lights and turrets for gold in the deep runs, it made getting gold worth it to me
Bigger Better BET-C as well, or alternatives, when she is tamed she feels very lacklustre for how infrequently i see her
Also, why cant we put an engi turret on the mule? BOO
Molly had filed a complaint for robotic abuse!
ALSO ALSO, when can we have it so avatars are reflective of your characters appearance? have a small role icon in the corner
I'd love to be able to read those well written cosmetic descriptions after purchase ❤
Based on the addition of individual drop pods, I think they should be the primary way into point extraction missions since it doesn't make logistical sense to send a full sized drop pod with the mining rig. It seems to me that the full sized drop pod is only needed in the beginning if a mule is used. Also the individual drop pods could make regrouping at the mining rig a cool start of the mission.
Make gunner ziplines appear on the scanner, at least their poles. A pair of green pins wit an arroe pointing at one another would be enough. Making them light up like allies do when you hit your call key when you are within 30m of one would be aces, too
Its really damned hard to see a black stake and gray rope in many biomes, so maybe recolor them neon green and yellow, or something? And maybe add a little beacon light on them? Like the lights on tall towers to alert air traffic
Isn't the stake bright yellow with light glowing on it?
Not that bright, and the anchor side has nothing.
It also has light
I believe you, but I can't think of a single time I've actually noticed it.
Melee class ; Berserker ; Really tanky with a hi-tech space axe or whatever other weapon.
Doesn't have to deal with ammo, very tanky, deals good damage.
Has to get in close for damage, can't attack things far away, has to be very careful around huge enemies like bulk detonators and dreadnaughts.
To balance having to get close in, the class can probably have a very small health leech effect on kill 3-5hp or higher as an armor upgrade or maybe a high resistance to big enemy damage.
Game is definitely missing a melee character in my eyes. It could use tons of balancing and I have no clue what tool it can contribute to the team. Another big problem is how the class would safely damage some big enemies i.e. bulks and
dreads.
Berzerker+Vampire does a decent portion of that already.
Play Driller for Throwing Axes (which heal via Vampire), or Gunner to Shield when you need a breather (Like if you just got out of Iron Will via Vampire kill)
Make Molly unable to crawl up resupply tunnels for christ sake.
tiered XP for enemies - looks like all enemies, whether bulk detonator or grunt, only give 1 XP.
Locking doors in the hub
Make a button that will close and lock your room in the hub in case you want some privacy
More barrels and brews on the rig.
Would love to be able to throw a drink while its full, not just the empty glass. (All the times an eager greenbeard runs over and orders leaf lovers
)
New missions!
With mini-mules and BET-C to see how they actually ended down there and why
And firing range
Also, where's that walking rig from art?
Some form of Damage Indicators. Like having displayed Health and Shield Values on top of their respective bars and also showing damage numbers on bugs
But make it an option to turn on/off
Hey guys I’m new to the discord here but I’ve been playing deep rock ever since it came out and I had a mission concept in mind so basically it’s called extermination and what you do is you have to go around the cave arming bombs on glyphid nests while you defend it and then when your finished with the mission you have 3 minutes to get to the drop pod before the bombs go off
Show numeric values of health, shield and damage. Also maybe an in-game xp counter 🤔
New mission suggestion
Bomb the nests
It's a hit and run mission. Several nests of different kind are scattered around the map, next to mineral, gold and nitra sites. The players need to arm specific bombs to those nets in order to explode everything later. Each time a bomb is armed, a swarm of that kind of bug is released.
After the last bomb is armed, everybody has about 3-5 minutes to run and get aboard the drop pod. NOONE can be left behind.
@near glacier That is basically my driller build. Vamp+Berserker+Weekend Athlete. Ice cannon built for range and faster freezing. Subata built for punishing weak spots. Drills acting as primary weapons. Axes because holy forking shirt-balls are they awesome
Take the faster revival perk up to the point that bugs flee when you receive someone and you can actually turn that momentary set back into a free chance to drill some buggy booty
New mission suggestion
Defend the profits
Taking a scene out of Starship Troopers, specifically when Rico's teacher gets killed on Planet P. In the DRG universe perhaps a mining base/encampment has been operating successfully for some time, but it appears that the dig has disturbed a rather gigantic nest. Now the bugs have swarmed to destroy the base. The bugs outnumber the dwarves something like 50 or 100 to 1. It's possible to destroy all the bugs, but the insane amount of them and the limited ammo make it extremely difficult. Primary mission, defend for a certain amount of time and then get the hell out, or less likely, kill all forces and save the base. This is similar to an extraction mission, with a little salvage mission thrown in, but contained within a large base with walls, dwarf manned turrets, sniper points, one or several BET-C's, etc, where maybe several extraction mining platforms are operating. Looking over the walls and seeing the land covered with 100's if not 1000's of bugs coming in would send chills down the back of the most hardcore dwarf. Also, maybe the mission isn't limited to 4 dwarves. Perhaps open it up to more as long as the mission scales. Maybe max of 12 with only a certain amount of dwarf types allowed, so there can't be all drillers or something like that. 12 dwarves joining? Well the mission just tripled in bug count and base just got larger...just spit balling. Nitra is around but only the bravest (dumbest) dwarves will attempt to extract it. No Molly's because extraction mine platforms are there, and not sure about Bosco's. Shooting for the moon here but hoping to land among the stars...
@deft tiger did you really just try and take my idea??
@deft tiger come oooon brooooo
Hey, just so you know the idea of arming bombs in a nest is very common idea. I've seen it suggested over 10x at this point.
Damn. Get clapped kyle
Oh ok sorry @deft tiger thx for telling me @fallow river
It's not an issue, I just don't think we should jump to the conclusion that someone stole your idea when it's so common
Self building turret
There should be a mod on the turret which lets it build itself, the build time would be increased and would be extremely helpful if youre running from 50 bugs and dont have the time to build your own turret as well as putting it down somewhere and not worrying about it (until it runs out of ammo of course). For example if your on point extraction a swarm comes and you need to rebuild your turret but you dont have enough time to build it yourself you can let it build itself.

Mactera Matriarch: Like the jellyfish breeder thing but less HP and controls mini mactera spawns that block your view of the matriarch and bite you if you get too close. You might want to attack it before it starts spitting or clawing at your teammates
You could also potentially make it greedy and create loot for the matriarch to carry
Can we have a sound bite when the ammo in the turret runs out?
Voiceline would I think be better
Yeah exactly something pls1
"Turrets run dry!" "Turret down!"
Some form of sonar device to locate buried goodies like bittergem and compressed gold could be quite helpful, as the latter is typically quite easily missed when running through caves quickly.
I wasn't sure where to post this, so I guess this channel will do. Hopefully a dev sees!
I have a good gaming friend who has been using her boyfriend's Steam profile to play DRG. She's spent 250 hours playing it there. Lately she and her boyfriend have been having issues, so last night she made her own Steam profile and bought her own copy of the game. Her boyfriend doesn't play DRG and has never played it on his Steam profile. She is sad she lost all of her progress and weapon unlocks. She was a gold-bordered engineer on his Steam profile. Is it possible her DRG profile can be transferred to her new Steam profile and linked to her new copy of DRG? It would really make her day. Eagerly awaiting a response, for her sake!
I can provide her contact info if it's possible.
Change Dark Morkite from 20% morkite to all ore so it can be used when ever. Add a Rich Atmosphere perked brew to the special board (Karl Lite).
Give Molly some sandwich storage for one sandwich per miner that will give you 75% health back once per mission.
Bosco toggled option for Rockets or Grabber for fossils and blooms
An option to view a mission in progress with a downed POV cam and Molly cam so you know what you are going to be in for by joining or just to watch higher level gameplay.
Crossheir Customization. Thickness and colour please!!! it is quite hard to see in game
A weapon that pushes your character back so that you can jump by firing your weapon or to break your fall.
Weapon: a Thor hammer that you can throw a short distance and have it return to your character. Secondary ability: hold the hammer up and blow back enemies in an aoe
ok i'll stop now i'm getting too excited
has anyone ever made a suggestion for a void type biome that's extremely dark and sort of open with new creepy mutant special bugs that are hard to spot because of a type of shadow mist that follows them around?
nope
I did. Please delete your message.
@near glacier please tell me what you need privacy for in the space rig
@glacial laurel it would be awesome to fall onto bugs and make them explode, decrease fall damage 50% or something
Loot bugs are like giant pillows already
Gun idea: the "Ahab" Harpoon Gun!
Made from the combination of a zipline gun and a flare gun: fires a spike with a modified flare filled with toxic waste material harvested from DR mienral-processing sites, releases a toxic cloud after a while.
Can be modifed to either fire smaller harpoons for more coverage or one giant fuck-off spike more suited to larger creatures.
Further modifications make the cloud slow enemies, make it flammable, have it attract enemies(pheromones), and the spike itself be upgraded to immobilize an enemy make it more vulnerable to damage.
Echoing off of Wiffle above, it would be cool if there was a new mod section for Molly / Defense Platforms where you could have a personal compartment that has a specific thing drop down with it. (Weaker ammo refill, health refill, couple of grenades, etc.) Might not be the most functional but man it would be flavorful. Also can't wait for our own mini-mules...
Other gun idea: "Prism" Convergence Laser
This laser creates a round pattern of small continuous lasers that converge on the center to forrm into a large laser as the prism "spools up". While this weapons has infinite ammo and only heats up, it heats up very quickly at which your only option is to change the crystal which serves as ammo. So by being careful with your heat management you can keep firing forever.
Can be upgraded to deal 50% fire/frost/electricity/toxic damage, to create an explosion when the lasers fuse, to explode similar to the minigun when you overheat, etc.
A possible over-clock of the scout grappling hook is "the faster you're going, the faster it recharges".
more missions pls 😃 I love everything about the game so far, and the first thing that comes on mind when I ask myself "What I want to see added to the game before everything else?" is missions. And maybe new location or something, but mainly missions.
I was thinking about maybe implementing something akin to the Relays in Warframe in DRG, whereas there’s a big social hub for multiple dwarves (more than 4 obviously) could hang out, drink beer, and add in maybe guild features? There’s a lot of room for addons if there was a large social hub area
Also a more concrete suggestion: replace the default class icons in the loading screen for missions with a portrait of your own dwarf that you’ve customized.
Can we ever possibly see a concept art book from you guys?
I'd like to see each dwarf have their own personality and voice lines. So that you can really fall in love with a character and relate to them instead of each class just being "Dwarf with minigun" or "Dwarf that builds things". I had some ideas for what each character's personality would be like based on their gameplay;
Scout: Definitely young and inexperienced, either arrogant or opptimistic and helpful
Gunner: Old and grumpy, a man that has seen too much and looks down on the other dwarves, especially scout. Maybe give him a prosthetic limb that could also be customized
Driller: Kinda weird like a hermit, some very odd and creepy voice lines and some kind of obsessive behaviour
Engineer: A nerdy wiseacre that always thinks he knows better because of his intellectualism but can be a but clueless
Have a repair mining facility mission where there is a guaranteed Bet-C fight somewhere in the facility, two boss fights, two heavy spawn rooms to clear, and two ore storage rooms to loot. In the end there is a Space elevator you use to leave.
@static estuary Im not trying to steal anything. Sorry anyway. Thanks for the help @fallow river
new mission suggestion
nest proliferation
what do you think about a new game mode in DRG a little like the eggs hunt, but with less eggs and a final boss when you have collected all eggs?
of course, when i says "boss" it's not a dreadnought, because i found they are to weak. I talk about a new ennemie, more powerfull than the dreadnought.
New tools suggestions
Engineer: Light robot to light surrounds and point to enemies keeping them marked all the time
Scout: Extra mining pockets
Gunner: More grenades carrying capacity
Driller: Double pickaxe
New mission and mineral suggestion
Mining salt: The players need to mine great amounts of salt/rock/ice in order to fullfill somehting that Deep Rock needs. The mining is fast with more mineral income but since the caves are small, players get attacked more often
A medium range 360 "wave" scanner would be nice to highlight minerals
salt rock and ice? sounds like R&D wants some icecream after they eat their glyphid omelettes
A new biome would be quite cool. I was thinking it can be one of those mythical places underground like in Journey to the centre of the Earth or Ice age 3 Down of the dinosaurs. Kinda like when they go down into the planet and it has its own weird outside kinda feel. I know DRG is all about caves and what not and it's supposed to be dark, I just thought of it and hoped someone else would understand and like said idea
I'd like saltrock and ice to be depositable, and like, give 0.1% the normal 'morkite' payout, I say this because when mining in groups, in some situations I'm left with nothing to do but stand watch along side the other guy who has nothing to do but stand watch
Tbh the caves back then seemed more real I’ve seen the alpha footage
Some actual underground forest / jungle biome would be dope
Could we get visual updates for the mk1/mk2 armors of all classes? They look awfully smooth compared to how many details there is on more recently released armors, and adding more bits to them would keep art coherent (put an mk2 gunner next to the mk5 or even mk5, you will see what i mean)
Also... need color options for armor, at least so you can match your weapon's paint scheme.
Could support edition please apply the gold color to any armor? I'm no fan of any of the MkII armors
Saw a short conversation that I thought was interesting so I came up with a more fleshed out idea (no numbers because squabbling over them in this channel is a waste of time):
Buildable Radar Scanner alternative to sentry gun-
It's a static buildable kit like the sentry, instead of shooting it pulses every x seconds to mark nearby enemies with an outline. this makes them visible even in darkness and around corners. it also debuffs these enemies while in range by letting them take y% extra damage on weakpoints, to make up for lack of sentry damage
The idea here is to give engineers a second option that still fulfills the same roles the sentry does: battle alerting and damage done
Lack of ammo required is a potential issue, but it could have some sort of ammo or fuel if that dial is required to make it balanced
It would give a higher level of situational awareness, but I see that as potentially equaling the fact that it still requires outside input to actually get damage value
Liquid Mineral Pump Missions by scrubsmcnubbs posted this at June 25, 2019 at 01:04AM : https://trello.com/c/BX54wIo4
how about Bulk detonators that release radioactive on only radioactive biome
Hi!
I don't know if this had been suggested, feel free to correct me
I noticed how Molly and the nasty bugs walk over terrain in any angle ignoring all sense of gravity, what if some sort of equipment ( or mode) allows you to do that same thing?
Magnet boots for scout maybe?
I might be playing it wrong but I feel engi's shotgun is vastly inferior choice to smg. It takes less effort to aim at glyphids mouths in succession, has more ammo per clip and more ammo overall and hence can clean a swarm of glyphids a lot better then a shotgun even with full auto (good luck even aiming with that). Can something be done to remedy that?
Unless shotgun is better to deal with bigger enemies somehow but I didn't yet notice. Like scout's assault rifle vs sniper rifle
Bosco beards
New mission mode
BET-C rescue. Players to need repair and rescue BET-C. Since the damage is great, BET-C will need to stop and reboot from time to time.
Little upgrades suggestions:
Gunner should have more ammo capacity
Scout should run faster
Enginner should repair ande build faster
Driller should have a double pickaxe or use the single pickaxe faster
I think it would be nice to have the option to lock the drop pod button to the host only. It's rather annoying when someone ends the mission early when you want to track down a couple more fossils
Also it would be very helpful to be able to see what others are carrying. Sometimes I pull out my hair trying to find that last boolo cap when my teammate is waltzing around with it, and doesn't realize it
Have an option at the bar to buy a single drink rather than a whole round. I don't want your Leaf Lovers I want my Skull Crusher please. Also, I've said this before a couple of times, please change Dark Morkite to plus 20% all ore. Much more usable for all mission types.
Based on a meme post by @near glacier (So you all know who to truely blame for this)
New Elite Enemy: The Bulk Shelback, AKA __ The Q'ronar Rockeater__
Description: A large Q'ronar shellback with a black, spiked shell. The soft underbelly is moderately bioluminescent and lined with tooth like projections, As it rolls, it widens any existing tunnel to its own width, creating a sound similar to rocks be crushed as it does. Like a Glyphid Dreadnaught, their armor is regenerative, how ever breaking it puts them in a stunned state for a brief period, in whcih the underbelly is exposed. While stunned, they will fling rocks that they have injested while burrowing in all directions which can serve to be a very dangerous hazard to any dwarf who hasn't made getting to a safe distance a priority. While in their armored rolling state, any dwarf unfortunate enough to be directly rolled over by them will immeditely have thier shield disrupted and be put in temporary downed state for 6 seconds and be marked as the priority target for all near by Glyphids and Macterra, as they are attracted to the now easy prey. As it rolls, it also leaves a shallow groove and flattens any surface bellow a certain hieght that is in its way.
How about a mission type where you have to track down a loot bug bigger than 3 bulk detonators for an extremely rare mineral only found inside of it
We’d have to follow tracks and stuff to find it
I know for a fact I’m going to regret this idea... Giant cave leech boss fight
I’m just putting that idea out there... please do NOT make giant cave leeches a thing
Could we have the option to bombard the surface of the planet while we wait for people to join? Like maybe sit on the Rig's gunner seat and have a grainy aereal bombardment view? Just to use as a time killer.
DRG Trash Biome - Cave system near the surface of Hoxxes where all the trash from the DRG ships ends up. Full of barrels, empty beer mugs, mule legs, resupply/drop pods, and abandoned/expired mining equipment this biome is full of strange garbage loving creatures. You might have to kick more than a few barrels around to meet your mineral quota here.
I'd like to paint my armor. As a supporter some of the duller colored Mk.5 armor alternatives don't look that appealing compared to my shiny golden space suit. Something that might fix that is the ability to purchase different preset armor shades for each classes armor. Different camo patterns for the Gunner, different more vibrant colors for Driller, etc.
Okay so...Karl. Why not add a ghostly apparition in solo play? Similar to Herobrine from Minecraft? Like in solo play you could hear a faint & distant "Over here! Can I get some attention?!" Whisping in from a distant cave system..
Also an enemy that stalks the MULE & tries to mug you as you deposit and tries to scurry back into a burrow afterwards, giving you a narrow window to kill it in, & if you do, get a bonus of materials plus whatever it swiped from you, the slippery s**t.
Loot Raptor
Or a crazed dwarf! That runs about on all fours like Gollum
Can we have customisable reticules for primary and secondary weapons pls, current ones r poo poo
Can the different armours/helmets actually have different perks? For example; stronger armor, night vision, faster running, motion sensor, etc?
Fog
how about a fancy way to sign off (log out) from our dwarven duties by letting us sleep 💤 in the cyro bed capsuals. be hella immersive.
I'd recommend as a suggestion something I'd like to see in game is the grappling hook for the scout able to be retractable while latched to give more options and to offer possible momentum swinging to move around a bit during extended grappling. might make a good modifier for the tool also.
When picking up the minerals of a dwarf who left, show the bag contents in your inventory so you know what you've got
There was a weird beat em up game on the Wii where you would take a shit to save your game
Maybe adding some details to the space rig? Like FIRING RANGE.
Also to the discussion on radar. IT would be hella nice. And if it could highlight nearby minerals, (as an upgrade, possibly top tier) it would be EVEN COOLER.
New support items?
Please buff loot bugs
Another face accesory slot, that'd inlude tiny animated miscs like lit cigars, toothpicks, pipes, monocles, etc aslong as you have a helmet that doesnt hide your face
Gold supporter misc tool skins would be appreciated aswell
Here’s some concept art for a possible new class I came up with. I call this guy: “The Biologist”. I thought it would be awesome to have a much more dedicated builder with the ability to make the environment better suite you, along with pet lizards to debuff priority enemies. Also wanted another reliable long-range weapon type too. The main need I was wanting to fill was to have a traversal tool capable of totally vertical mobility along walls (Realized I forgot to mention under the Tangled Beard description that it can only grow up walls). If anyone has any questions or suggestions for the idea, please let me know. I have two more potential characters in mind, some new baddies, and a nice selection of Craft Dwarven Beers.
Playable hunter glyphid and/or mactera that can invade other players games like in dying light or left 4 dead
I think there should be an achievement about kicking every barrel into the launch pad and that there are secret barrel locations
there's already an achievement for kicking every barrel into the launch bay
but secret barrels would be nice
there is??!
Foreign Objects In The Launch Bay: You kicked every barrel into the Launch Bay. You are why Mission control drinks.
I just got it with my lads
How about if all of your crew (3 or more) pass out from being too drunk! (an achievement)
@old turret there is another one for stuffing every barrel on the space rig into the drop pod
you have a long way to go 😉
Personally I think that there should be a hidden achievement for riding down on the outside of the drop pod wearing any cowboy hat
Its clearly a bug that you can do this but it is also a unintentioanl reference to the classic movie Dr Strangelove unless it is totally intentional in which case why isn't there an achievement for it
Dr. Strangelove movie clips: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLZbXA4lyCtqofD2-h3xInLvQuYcFUHvTB BUY THE MOVIE: http://amzn.to/sfVV1y Don't miss the HOT...
And another one for standing on the minehead when its launched a snarky commend about abandoning your team by leaving the mission early
Is there an achievement for dying from the Resupply Pod? Because there should be
we can call it "I got it I GOT IT.... I dont got it"
or even better
a second achievement for having the whole team be crushed by a resupply pod lol
you'd have to have each player directly over eachother
Because the pod takes a direct path down
so if you line your team up right im pretty sure it can murder the whole team in one swoop
I cant count the number of times I have been running to the pod and fallen all the way down to the end cave due to a stupid supply drop hole XD
maybe one for that
as well
if your on tonight when i play we can create a group for experimenting with that
would need engineers and diggers
Diggers for making a giant pit with enough height difference
Engineers for platforms
you know what the most painful achievement to get is currently
Which?
"I Like It Down Here"
you need to stay in a cave for over an hour
but none of the levels are "THAT BIG"
would like to suggest increasing complexity and cave length options
Honestly I wonder if an endless mode is possible
i know there are performance issues so it would be a host enabled option
like the host has to tick generate missions with increased complexity
Suggestion Dwarf Fortress mode a open hoxxes playmode where you are tasked with building a forward operating bases on the surface and defending them from swarms
thatd be wierd
I'd preer just like
Endless cave mode
The goal is to survive for as long as you can and gain as much loot
As you gain more loot the danger level rises
yeah but thing is if its endless how do you get the loot back to the space rig
each player has a personal escape pod they deploy when they are done
my first thought is that its a "no return mission" or something
yes but again noone will play that mode unless they are going to actually get the credits and crafting materials at the end
Your idea is good too
It could be that you dont really "lose" when all of your party falls
You dont really loose after being eaten by glyphids you just give them a day of horrible indigestion and get passed out the other side
thats my head canon of why there is no permadeath and why your characters are still available after being left behind
Fyi I think this channel is more for individual suggestions to then be discussed over in #suggestion-discussion
I think its just to make it easier to parse all the suggestions here
@turbid stream tell the devs to turn off slowmode in the discussion channel so its usable for that purpose >.>
Please can we get a small server filter to see which servers have "prevent latejoin" on.
guys.... I think that grenade need a buff. It's slows enemy a little bit explodes by a heat and damage your team. And It can be used normally only versus little bugs (but not really, Y will kill them faster then it exploded). And time of work is very small, so I think it needs a buff.
The issue of this grenade is It's explodes only when stops, very small time of usage and you can take only 4 of it with so, always needed 1 more.
Deep Rock Galactic Nintendo Switch Edition needs to be a thing...
lol I highly doubt the toaster will be able to run the game. The game even runs a little warm on a GTX 1060 + I7-7700k 16gbs of RAM on Ultra
The switch would simply get another cracked heat vent
I can play fine (45 fps low settings) with integrated graphics. I have a Ryzen 5 2500U.
Still.. it's about whether the switch will handle the game or not.. if it runs a little warm on my rig.. well.. then I suppose nintendo should start investing in PCs
Kinda makes me wonder how they're able to run games at 60FPS on the switch? they have some pretty good games too.. but still. DRG does run a little warm..
Not to mention there's gonna be a bunch of video game politics going on whether it's allowed on their platform or not
I really want split screen /local co-op for this game.
Well.. there is online and this discord server? but I do understand how ya feel on split screen.. but keep in mind split screen.. could be detrimental in a game
local co-op.. I'm sure that can happen?
They could always set it up so you can use multiple monitors
right I understand. But split screen just would seem unfavorable in a game such as haz 5 or 4 since you're gonna need a whole monitor to see everything on the ceiling and bugs and such
I’d like to point that I ran DRG with a toaster before. A toaster that ran DRG without a graphics card, a shitty processor, and no actual good components. Also I mean the switch runs ARK as well
Also consoles don’t run at 60fps (At least the switch doesn’t due to its size)
It runs at 30fps
Running DRG at 30fps isn’t hard
I thought the switch did run at 60 fps while I do know that are consoles like PS and Xbox are just garbage toasters that you just tilt on the side
altough I can't imagine playing DRG at 30 fps.. that would work.. but suck
maybe I'm spoiled with my GTX1060 and i7-7700k
idk. I think some games do and some don’t run at 30fps
Now that I think of it... imagine playing Smash Bros at 30fps good god
Mario Kart is smooth on the Switch too
BoTW.. I suppose? it looks like 40 fps too me
I’d have to actually pay attention to tell
I think that the game could run fine on medium graphics on the switch
On haz 5 it might not run as well
I can tell if a game is 60+
a typicaly tv is 60 hz refresh rate.. meaning console games can only output 60 fps
I have a 144hz refresh rate monitor.. meaning even though it'll look like 60 fps.. it's doing more than that
the refresh rate determines a lot
The issue is... would DRG do well on the switch? I mean people who already own the game might buy as they can play it on the go, but it might not reach to the switches audience
Probs not.. The switch is still a small console with limitied storage.. the game still runs warm even on my rig. I can aonly assume the switch will just hot ass all hell and crack the vent again when people noticed their switch's vent were getting cracked after a year or so
I'd like to see it; however, we need to consider cross-platform gameplay with the switch.
The switch may have limited storage, but micro sd cards can be inserted
And I didn’t know peoples vents were getting cracked that’s something I will look out for thank you
Yeah.. there was kinda a mess of people getting cracked vents even on new siwtchs' as well. but yeah.. I only want to see DRg on the switch if it's gonna
1 - not melt the darn thing
2 - cross platform compatibiltiy with other players including PC is figured out with the switch
otherwise I don't think the DRG team will have enough time to do business with Nintendo with their current workload
I would love to see a system like pokemon rescue dungeon where if you fail, you can request a rescue from another player and continue where you left off. For the rescuer, all you'd have to do is get to the same spot they did and revive 1-4 npcs. When this happens, a drop pod is called and the npcs run to the drop pod. You however can continue and get the rest of the minerals and complete the mission or leave right then. It would be the exact same seed as the other mission that failed, but as if no one was ever there for simplicity. I think that would be a cool thing as an endgame. Where you can rescue other people.
“Escort missions sucks”
@plucky ore YES THIS !!!
Make the NPC version cost gold OR you can also have the rescue mission run by other players as a twist
Though I can see this resulting in a pileup situation where you have 50 beacons for rescue as th rescue teams inturn get incapacitated
PLEASE add a vote system to calling in the pod. The amount of times someone has called it in when there's tonnes of minerals everywhere is unreal
Remove randomness of Beers & add more beers. by dmi1407 posted this at June 28, 2019 at 11:54PM : https://trello.com/c/ug2oVoeD
I would love to see some more beers
and snacks
No snack
Only beer
An buffet
Oh yes, here's an idea.
Make the flamethrower cause those gas-releasing plants to explode.
Because frankly we all hate the damn things.
Fungus bog would be very explodey
You say this like we don't already have exploding plant mabobs
Yes as others have said, I'd like to see more Ale. Perhaps 1 that would be beneficial for each type of mission. For example, you could make one that lets you carry large objects faster (in addition to the perk) to make it worth using in point extraction. Having more beneficial ale would let us choose which mission to do based off of the drink of the day.
My wife also told me to tell you that she'd love to see a female dwarf option...not sure how that would translate into the game, but women play this too.
And last but not least, I'd like to see at least a 5th class that was some sort of healer/support class. They could have an ale launcher that shot beer at people and healed them, or an AOE healing field tool/grenade that they could launch down in big fights, etc. A lot could be done with this though I'm not sure if you have any plans or a desire to add more classes.
@cyan yarrow they are working on it
Make it so that the quick join list doesnt update while you are hovering over a game
More Ales would be an awesome addition.
Perhaps the ability to spin-up the Gunner's "Leadstorm" Minigun before firing; similar to the heavy in TF2? This could perhaps be implemented as holding left click, and then right click simultaneously to spin up the gun before you wish to fire, though movement debuffs will still apply.
How about to make a "healer" who could use some kind of "heal gun", and refill it with red sugar?
Harder to get achievement than karl would be proud, do karl would be proud's goal under the influence of 2 glyphid slammers.
Okay
@brisk sail just came up with something. I cant continue to play if its not added in the next patch
Change revive animation in the space rig when somebodys drunk. To kicking him
A friend of mine who has started playing recently says he loves the game, but would like something like a radio in game that you can toggle on and off
Not a walkie talkie but an actual radio, that plays music and between songs you get adverts from companies like deep rock or employee reminders/announcements
I just thought it could be a really cool concept, a little something extra
it'd have to be mostly voice clips, or it'd ruin the jukebox
I was thinking something similar to the jukebox but for in mission
im a bit drukn but
shoudlnt you have a beter report stsem tha n discrd?
it seems like, that could be exploited, i dunno, doesnt seem efficient
or reliable
Can bulks like not spawn on peoples faces in game? I know people in this server love to meme it but it's annoying as f.
I agree... 👀
More bulks plz
@desert jolt I like that idea of the red sugar healing gun. However I was figuring if they added a healing class, they should almost remove red sugar or at least make it very rare in order to make the healer useful/necessary.
a new warning called big bugs or titans that only spawns praetorians, menaces, goo bombers, grabbers, bulk detonators, shellbacks, dreadnoughts, and any other bugs considered bigger than a dwarf
@cyan yarrow , devs could make healer more useful by debuffing red sugar. Honestly, for me even in the fantastic world of DRG red sugar were looking too strange - a couple of crystals could in fact fix broken bones, injuries and wounds
But healer could transform the energy of sugar to heal dwarfs directly, like in TF2
@pine path, that’s actually good idea, but what devs gonna do with detonator? Its too slow even in regular mode, and his giant version would have a snail’s speed
Just make rich atmosphere affect bigger monsters more than smaller ones, so the biggest ones get a speed buff 😄
Doing stuff on purpose for a challenge can be fun, right?
I have a boss suggestions
A giant neodactite that have 4 breeder attach to his core body (looking like the neodactite that breeder spawns)
He Can also spit acid on players and grab them to suck HP to heal hisself
Called the Neodactite Mama
The "breeders arms" could throw any types of neodactites (one type per arm) and can be destroyed
All arms could have the same Armor type that dreadnoughts have
Destroyed arms throw a amount of neodactites divided by 2
This boss could be an alternative target for éliminations contract
A vote system for calling in resupplies and drop pods would be nice. I can't count the amount of games I've had where the game ends early to a misclick on the mule or multiple resupplies are called at the same time.
I'd love for the explosions in the game to have more visual oomph. more particles and such.
I dunno about particles, those impact FPS. In a low poly game we got this thing running on smaller devices, in some cases laptops. If done, I'd suggest particles to be able to be set from low/medium/high/ultra and limit the more particles to ultra particles.
yeah, that's what I mean. I dont care if it's an option I have to turn on, I just want more explosion oomph 😛
also feel like this game would be a great one for something like physx
I'd love to see female variants of each class in the future. I heard this might be in the pipe already but I thought I'd pitch in for that. 🙂
Same opinion than Returnip, I'd fucking love female dwarf models at some point, would be perfect. ❤
The gunner zipline is great, when playing with other classes and playing as other classes it feels like it needs a little luster.
The gunner gets the same amount of starting zip lines to start that have a high degree angle (basically the zip has the increased angle mod built in and he can mine and grap items from the zip.
In the first mod option the gunner can Choose from death from above (allows shooting from zips.) Locked in (cant be knocked off) or more zips.
Just my own opinion.
wat
he ment
-Vertical ziplines
-shooting from ziplines??(we already can idk)
-Not getting knocked off by mactera spawns
Right I'm saying make it to where only the gunner can pick a mod that allows others and himself to shoot from zip.
So at the start you cant shoot from zips unless gunner selects
that would suck
Granted it would
But you would also have the option to not get knocked off
Balance is what I'm striving for. If the is a better way I'm listening. I'm not saying I got it figured out. I think zips need a little attention
You used to never get knocked off by damage, it was op as heck and definitely needed to be changed
Zip lines kind of suck as they do now though. It’s always better to just walk or dig where you want to go than constantly falling off zip lines
If anything they just need to make there be a better choice or separate tier for taking less fall damage when you do fall off of zips
I think they should work at any angle, that's all they need
They let your team cross big gaps easily, something the other traversal tools don't do as well
Access to the options menu before loading into the space rig area. This isn't a big deal for high spec computers but mine can only run the game smoothly on low settings. As a result it was extremely taxing to get into the space rig on first launch and lower the quality settings. It'd be nice if some consideration was given for low spec computers and we had access to settings such as graphics before a world filled with 3d models was loaded. Or at least lower the default quality settings from ultra to medium or something.
I wish gunner had a massive grenade launcher or like a bazooka that does insane dmg but low ammo count
pgl
like how the Engi has a GL but a Gunnerized version
Put the ship in an instance and have the aliens invade the ship for a special event
can we mine an exploding namik has freeza and goku fight over head? " ok guys we need to get in and get out as fast as possible. The planet could explode at any minute"
Getting damage numbers in game would really help compare different upgrades. It’s also nice just to be able to see how much damage you deal
I think the fact that your LMG is empty Should be more noticable, you tend to forget about the little UI thing when in the heat of shooting buggers.
Only played several missions so could be suggesting something that already exists, but a medical evac type mission where you have to rescue injured dwarves would be top class. I mean some dwarves must get stuck down those buggy holes occasionally
Salvage ops, but they're already dead
Escort missions are almost always bad, so it's a good middle ground already
decorate your bay (trophies, weapons, badges)
@solemn stag maybe think about a rescue like system, guys already on a mission and all downed could wait a 5th player to join in order to help them. The wait is a 2 minutes timer if no one accept the job then rip.
Then he go back to the Space rig when they are safe by jetpack
How about a boss mode where you have to go in a nest to mark a "heart" so a space laser can shoot through from above and destroy it? It should be really hard to get to it so it should feel like a labyrinth
terrain scanner
veteran driller
@solemn stag @turbid stream that mission idea could still work, but play it halfway between a salvage and a point extraction.
Mission starts, medical platform sent down. Map is structured like an egg hunt or mining mission with either an interconnecting tunnel network or several offshoots that do not connect to each other.
Specialized M.U.L.E. deployed, designed to carry injured dwarf as well as minerals.
Players search for dwarf. once found, call over M.U.L.E. which will automatically retrieve dwarf (maybe with the help of two medical Bosco's. Bosci? What is the plural of Bosco?). Swarm will arrive as they attempt to save dwarf.
M.U.L.E. can only hold one dwarf at a time and will return to the platform extraction style with the accompanying hordes.
@solemn stag got your name right that time
(blasted internet died and I thought i got it wrong twice. sorry.)
endgame raid bosses BL2 style? but obviously your own take (:
@wanton pine yeah I was thinking similarly, and I believe Bosci should now be lore for multiple Bosco
u may add description for minerals and ores , what for they need and etc
- When people use text chat, have their text appear in the window rather than having to open chat context to see peoples messages.
-Bar Fight
- When a dwarf has drunken his beer if he throws the empty tankard at another dwarf that other one can throw theirs in turn. If that is done both dwarfs enter an animation where they brawl. Could be in the style of old cartoons where it's a dust cloud with just limbs and things poking out from time to time. Ending with the two sitting down, having a hearty laugh and getting back on their feet.
options for loadouts in the equipment terminal
How bout Pocket minerals counting as deposited? it makes no sense that it's just dumped.
New Utiility options
Gunner Zipline option Rope gun Shoots a line out that sticks in a wall and dangles a climbable rope down a vertical (or near vertical surface
Driller Drill option Blast charges. Shoots out a charge that after a moment blows a hole in a wall via a shaped charge. If any minerals were in the location they explode outward and are able to be collected.
Scout Grappler option Rocket Boots. Short duration flight but if you use it all up you fall. Fuel replenishes over time.
Engineer Platform gun option Teleporter pads.
we should have the option of still viewing the map and rotating the camera when dead. Dx
add actual seatbelts to the drop pod ._.
If damage is added as a scoreboard stat at level end, please put something like "damage dealt without overkill" and "damage dealt with overkill." (meaning both side by side)
A way to rate players especially late joiners. With options like "Friendly" "helpful" or "Called drop pod without completing secondary objective" "Called drop pod without confirming everyone was ready"
Just a thought off the cuff, how about different dreadnaught and bulk detonator types for different regions? I understand praetorians, goo bombers and exploders are somewhat tailored to each region; so maybe XL enemies could also be altered to make swarms and bosses feel more varied to the environment... For example, radioactive bulks (as per their exploder counterparts) or frost dreadnaughts that freeze and slow on AOE/ranged attacks...
Can we get an audio option to turn off/change volume of the mission control guy and the dwarf callouts
deep rock galactic profiles that show player avatar, rank, statistics and weapon builds
Oh yeah a good suggestion since this comes across an issue for players like me who run into good players for haz 5 grinding
- make it so that we can find the players we play with in the Steam's Friends > Recently played > DRG
since there isn't a way to add them on Steam in-game and it's quite frustrating since Steam friend finding option does suck overall
Also; the Mission control text box overlay when you begin a mission can be bothersome on Haz 5 PE missions where I need to see the ceiling.. Is there an option to remove mission control text boxes or otherwise making the text box more transparent upon mission start?
A direct nod to Aliens - a mode where you need to dive into a Glyphid Hive to search for lost dwarfs (I'm not saying you're looking for Karl, but..) you have to dig them out of the wall, the AI follows one player, or they have to carry them in a cocoon (just like a big gem) to a heavily armed drop pod where you're team faces the maximum dakka challenge. Something to enforce maximum team work with unique hazards (walls grabbing players, abundance of Cave leaches, etc.) Just for a little narrative driven game mode!
make it so some/most/(all?) of the gassses, spores, and goops in the bog are flammable, thatd be neato. those poison gas ones that puff when you walk similar to the toxin grenade came to mind
Ive noticed a fair amount of talk about sandwiches and i was wondering about a possibility for the abyss bar to sell sandwiches. nothing special i just want to eat sandwiches after seeing a lot of text about sandwiches.
Adding a variation in objective for each mission type. by servooo posted this at July 2, 2019 at 10:55PM : https://trello.com/c/422sdCdN
when the drop pod takes off it should blanket the area in fire, incinerating whatever swarm was chasing you

I was thinking about implement new difficulty within the deep dive where no lights and no flair at all!

A bag for put red sugar?
Save some for use in an emergency.
I've had this Idea for a vehicle based section of the game. Takes place in an asteroid belt, every player is in the same mining ship operating a different feature. Driller is mining resources, gunner fires the weapons and shields, engineer runs life support systems and engines and all that good stuff, and scout can pilot and navigate
Id love to see a trailer of Bosco wondering the space rig, then the Dwarf Bunk's doors open and Bosco comes up and has a cautious inspection of you, then cut to shit tonnes of action scenes with Bosco on the frontlines, explotions, ending with you saluting and Bosco melting you're heart with his lil' salute back.
