Homebrew modification to the standard issue CRSPR, made by a particularly unhinged engineer in RnD. Instead of a continuous stream, the output of the flamethrower now fires one big mass of molten slag, leaving pools of magma on impact and scaring nearby bugs
flame stream instead fires in a heavy hitting magma ball projectile
projectile leaves pools of magma upon impact, rapidly building heat damage
magma pool scares bugs nearby and slows/stuns those caught within
lowered armor breaking capabilities
projectile has heavy range falloff

the radio transmitter module upgrade for the boltshark needs a buff imo, not to make it more powerful but because it feels terrible to use. The scout is always moving around, and it makes sense that an upgrade that picks up bolts for you would complement that fast-moving style. however, it takes a really long time to pick them up and the area you need to hover your cursor over is really really small, so especially for a very long range shot you need to stop, look for the very small amount of light the bolts give off, focus on there for a solid three seconds to try to hover over it, and then go about your day. it completely defeats the purpose of the upgrade but the idea is fun and it is extremely handy when you manage to get the bolts on the go, so i think buffing the area you hover over to pick it back up by 2x or 3x would make the boltshark waaay more fun to use.
Mk1000 OC: Uranium Rounds
Our bright minds at RnD thought the MK1000 needs more fire power and suggested to make beneficial use of the Radioactive Exclusion Zone's Uranium Crystals, giving the rifle serious firepower and penetration abilities, but the rounds are bulky and heavy, reducing the amount of ammo to carry and limited magazine sizes and reduced weakpoint bonuses.
Benefits:
- Base damage significantly increased
- Max Penetration is increased
Detriments: - Total ammo significantly decreased
- Magazine size is decreased
- Weakpoint damage bonuses is reduced
- Maybe either the weapon is no longer hitscan or Focus shot ability is disabled

I've heard there are suggestions to allow players to carry dead dwarves to safer places. However, a problem arises with acts of griefing.
I believe that, to counteract this, if you hold left+right click, you cannot be carried by dwarves. You can have a toggle option in settings. If you press left+right click while being carried, you will be dropped on the floor.
Obviously, to make this make somewhat sense from a game perspective, we could have voicelines like "Can I have 5 more minutes?" or "Stop!" when dropped.
Additionally, if we get into the carrying dwarves feature, you cannot sprint, but retain normal walking speed. Dwarves can only be thrown very short distances (You'll just hurt them if you throw them at long distances! not a good idea). This would be a active perk, providing valid competition for iron will and dash.

Grenades bounce off the terrain and explodes when they stop moving, bounce for a third time or on contact with enemies

Ways to make MK2 senty a viable alternative to Gemini:
- Stronger turret whip and em discharge
- When used with micro-conductor the turret arc is replaced with a more powerful version of the platforms' electric ring
- Faster building, reloading and recalling
Also give Hawkeye system better target priority
I think the Core Spawn event should be toned down. Having so many enemies that are so mobile and temperature resistant and don't have the greatest weak point doesn't make for a fun time.
In salvage missions, make setting up the uplink/prepping the fuel cells scale faster with fewer players in the lobby (the building process). Unless I'm missing something, it, makes sense for this to be a thing considering the same happens when you're playing the mission out near them to finish the process.
Let players reconnect to deepdives (and certain other mission types like deep scan)
(it is quite inconsistent when players can reconnect, in some missions you can even do so during the escape sequence),
add an activity tracker to missions if required to determine player participation to let them rejoin and be re-invited

A new warning: core stone infection. As a description: a retrieval pod malfunctioned while going back, the impact caused the stone to become unstable, and without a crust to hold back its power, it infected the area and the bugs around it, causing them to be tougher and deal more damage.
What it does: the terrain turns sorta crystalized, with some smaller portals, that sometimes spawn corespawns. The bugs get crystallized, get a defense and damage buff. The terrain gets another change. There will be a large section, where the core stone is placed. To deactivate it and retrieve it, you need to break 3 power crystals to close it, each having a 50% chance to start a wave. When it's deactivated, as a last ditch effort a wave starts. At the end, the core stone fully deactivates, and a reinforced retrieval pod is called in.
A new mission type where you fight a dreadnought that had hatched naturally and is full grown because when you think about it the dreadnoughts we kill aren’t fully grown yet which means a fully developed one would be very difficult to kill kind of like the care taker you can make a bunch of other stuff to idk awaken it or call it over to your location (edit) sorry about the bad grammar and complete lack of periods im bad at typing on a cellphone
2 amo type for platform launcher that you could switch around vertical ammo type

For an April Fools update, seeing how the Lootbugs can become elites to make them become hostile towards the player just for the pure fun of it, they still don't move that fast but can fire the ores they have inside of them as a weapon similar to the spatters to deal damage.
With this running joke as well there could be an event theme bossed that is just 1 big lootbug that acts like a worm digging through the ground to eat materials like rocks and such to then spit out at their player while summoning enraged lootbugs to defend it. Upon killing it, it could blow up as a hoarder does.

With all the infections still kicking around it wouldn't be surprising if one of these cute little things ended up getting mutated.
Add special skin for when you complete weapon maintenance for all weapons from one class and a special skin for when you complete weapon maintenance for all weapons.
So that means if I complete weapon maintenance for all the gunner's weapons I get a special skin that I can apply for every gunner's weapon. And when I complete weapon maintenance for every single weapon for every single class - I get another skin that I can apply for every weapon of every class.

Add ability for players to randomly acquire cosmetics from crates in missions or buy it randomly from some slot crate cosmetics machine for money or resources (rarely beginner, mid-end game content)

Lobby themes when you join lobby owner you see his lobby skins and posters (changing whole floors, walls) like summer, halloween, winter, neon themed, corporations themed, clown themed lobby (also 4-6 slots for posters)
Launch pod themes and their interior cosmetics such as: 2 posters (right, left) and 2 slots for hanging cosmetics (like lucky cubes), seat skins (each player has own seat theme or launchpod seats forced for everyone) and maybe a music when arriving to mission like rock n roll or some music which plays in jukebox or even custom one (or music will be playing always when you are near launchpod)

🟥 Heavy Fog: The viewing distance is severely reduced and flares aren't as effective as usual (15% hazard bonus)
🟥 Fallout Zone: A rich presence of dangerously radioactive ores has been detected in the area which also caused local wildlife to become highly resistant to it, also replacing Praetorians and Exploders with their nuclear variants (20% hazard bonus, does not appear in Radioactive Exclusion Zones)
🟥 High Gravity: The gravitational pull in this area is stronger than usual, which reduces your jump height and you fall faster, resulting with higher fall damage (30% hazard bonus)
🟨 Secret Pods: The previous team lost their lives on that mission, but on the other hand you can find their lost supply pods (doesn't appear in Salvage Operations).

This area of hoxxes is full of water, often leading to underground lakes dotting the region. This, in turn, brings way to particularly odd flora and fauna. It’s best to stay out of the water, since not only will you have a hard time moving in it, but you don’t know what could be in there, let alone drowning. But, if there’s something desirable in the lake, it’s best to make a hole in the wall or floor to drain it out.
Also, management recommends talking after you get out of the water.
A weapon that can spread disease

i had a idea for a overclock for the stubby, that turns the electrocution status made by the stubby into a stackable DOT, sort of like NCTC. downsides could be decreased base electrocution chance or something idk this is just a random idea I had.
I wear hats you were hats Lloyd wears a hat so does hacksy(hack-c) my suggestion is you can put hats on your trusty solo pal bosco.

the good folks at R&D have been experimenting with alternative methods of powering this firearm. This overclock killed 2 people and got 3 fired, but was deemed barely safe enough to be used on hoxxes. Just make sure to store it away in the provided radiation-resistant case when not in use to help reduce or mitigate the side effects.
direct hits from this gun also irradiates and poisons enemies hit.
there’s so much power in each bullet, that it arcs to nearby enemies even if the initial bullet misses

with this overclock equipped, the ammo for this gun slowly poisons you over time, even more so when it’s active. Using up ammo reduces how fast it depletes your health, with the 50% ammo mark being the stopping point of the poison when holstered.

A new overclock to the breach cutter. Basically, it turns the gun into a bfg from doom 2016. As ups and downs, more damage, turns the line into an orb that shoots out rays that boil the bugs alive , less ammo, the plasma lasts for a shorter amount of time
Add a gatling gun shotgun for either gunner or driller
A simple buff to burst fire for the GK2:
1st - If all 3 bullets connect with the same target, add a massive dmg bonus (+12) to the third bullet.
2nd - improve weak point stun chance to +20% and increase stun duration to 3s

Add Splitscreen, just Imagine how many more people will play, bcuz lots cant and want to play with friends who can, or wanna play with their siblings, it would be so cool to see split-screen in Deep Rock Galactic, I love the game and play it, but I also want to have some fun with my siblings or friends who cant play it.
Engineer Weapon Suggestion: The Arc Caster
As weapon for the Engineer that's not too dissimilar to the Shard Diffractor, but it shoots out a fairly wide spread of powerful lightning that does high damage and can chain to other enemies.
It should have a lot of ammo regardless if it's a primary or second weapon.
A few of it's OCs could maybe do a powerful "lightning strike" charged shot that shoots a single bolt of lightning that explodes and does very good AOE damage, while another one may cause the lightning to chain to more enemies at the cost of a bit of damage.
What if... just maybe... we could steeve bulks
Can Gas clouds from praetorians, opressors and neurotoxin Dissapate very quickly during environmental weather.( blizzards, sandsstorms, rain etc)
Jumbo Shells is kind of really bad compared to Double Barrel. It does quite a lot less single target damage and is worse against crowds than a big aoe blast.
Ideally I think Double Barrel should be a bit worse against Preats and should stick to easy AoE kills while Jumbo Shells could maybe get a weakpoint bonus to kill Preatorians better.
Bug, but I think this would make for a fun warning/mutator sort of challenge: Your HUD is gone.

Would love to see the driller get a Tesla Cannon, he leans more towards elemental weapons, you could even scavenge some from the bots ie the caretaker which could stun large groups of enemies and do more damage to the bots
Another thing for the driller would be new overclocks for the sludge pump, something exotic like -Enticing Enzymes: Cause small native biting insects (deeptora drones) to attack and slow affected targets (higher DOT but shorter effect)
-Parasitic Embryos: Targets take increased DOT, lower direct damage, if killed while under the effect will explode and eject parasites which damage surrounding enemies and infect others
A secondary Swarm Launcher would be a cool weapon using deeptora hives or bogh wasps
Also weaponizing rockpox in some manner would be interesting maybe in grenade form

New mission type suggestion: R&D needs to send a research dwarf into the caves of Hoxes to get a sample of a McGuffin (could be a fresher sample of a Core Stone, or something related to Roguecore, but in the end it's just a McGuffin), and the team has to escort the R&D dwarf to keep him safe. I'm thinking he's not helpless, like Doretta, but not invulnerable like Hack-C. It would obviously take some playtesting to find the right balance. I'm also thinking R&D dwarf has to hunt around and go to a number of different locations to find said McGuffin(s).

Boltshark’s final tier upgrades should have decreased switching time instead of banshee bolts, I think banshee just doesn’t compare to either of them and I fr really want to switch faster because it takes literal ages
Been playing alot of drg survivor and I can say. I think it would be cool for the 'mobile turrets' to make it in to the base drg somehow.
Think the easiest way would be for the engineer to strap some of the spare mini-mule legs onto it, making it have semi bet-c ai and it tries to stay at least 10 m around it's owner.
Could be a 3rd mod to pick in the first tier, making you chose between the extra turret and the more damaging one
A mod for jury rigged boomstick in t5, moving the auto reload to t2
duck bill choke: "this modification to the barrels focuses the spread to be more horizontal"
splits base spread into 2 stats, horizontal and vertical base spread with horizontal spread being 75% and vertical 25%
makes the weapon better at hitting multiple grunts at once but landing all pellets means getting much closer
Extra normal bolts as a tier 1 upgrade for the boltshark, been using it recently and I’ve found that especially with bodkin bolts I almost never use the special bolts because of how much nicer it feels to use the regular ones, and it just feels like a nuisance when I’m left with explosive ones that don’t have as much of an effect

Charged shot lose the AoE aspect of them, they can only hit one target, the AoE dmg is converted into direct dmg

I wanted to give EPC and OC that focuses on single target aspect of the charged shoots, and the result is a mini hyperprop. Its still different from Overcharger (nobody cares, nobody uses it anyway), cause when this OC has greater dmg, its lack any form of AoE, while Overcharger still can be used against crowds (no one cares)
Burning nightmare works on it normally, TCF idk, probably not cause the normal shoots arent fast enough to hit the charged projectile. This small lack of build diversity at T5 doesnt matter, as EPC already suffers from it greatly (having only two mods at this tier, one being OP, second being okayish greatly hurts this weapons potential builds. What? What is plasma splash, never heard about it?), same goes for other weapons, with the most famous example being PGL and proxy + hyperprop.

Ngl I think the boltshark is a very underrated weapon that doesn’t get enough love, a lot of the overclocks straight up give you just special bolts as normal bolts which is boring as fuck. I think rework or replace every one of these because it’s fr just not great, and who wants extra explosive bolts compared to something like bodkin? Reworking the boring overclocks could be as easy as just like the main bolt gets a damage bonus or spreads the effect when you shoot them or some shit
can we get a reset button on credits and minerals so i can feel like i have a purpose again?

Me and a friend stumbled upon this one in a million (probably) cave. It's more like a chasm, it is absolutely huge. I would love a new mission type or biome that generates caves as big as this, because it was absolutely stunning to witness.
I think that instead of stun for OC burst fire can be replaced with disorientation or knockback, which will basically change the gameplay. it's the same gk2 gun but with bursts. it could have more damage and magazines.
Im not sure if this was intentional or not, but there's no water in the entire game (excluding rain obv). I feel like adding underground puddles, streams, etc into cave generation could really increase the environment in caves.
Adding onto this, maybe there could be a water based mission, such as scanning underwater plants or maybe extracting power from underwater volcanoes.

Weapon idea: Gas-powered stick
Fix engi and driller having weaker flares (gunner and scout’s flares are high intensity whereas engi and driller’s are medium intensity)
Make Blood Sugar a negative modifier as opposed to a positive one, as it makes missions notably more difficult.
Shockwave and Static Discharge should be massively buffed for the armor. Neither of them can deal with Swarmers let alone Grunts.
Side objective ideas:
Recover Sample Containers: Similar to Ebonuts but with special containers that cannot be opened with pickaxes or explosives and must be hacked to open (10 to collect)
Hack Rival Survey Stations: Rivals has deployed Survey Stations to collect data of the local area. The data is sent remotely so the only way to stop their actions is to hack their stations so they send useless corrupted data (Dunno how many to hack but they do not appear in Sabotage missions)
A side objective of killing a certain amount of grunts (let’s say 200 on a medium haz 4, scales based on mission length and difficulty)
Lootbugs reproducing via spores released on contact, so petting them helps their numbers grow.
Another currency you find in missions like barley bulbs or nitra these would then stack up outside of missions like barley bulbs so you could call in a resupply pod or just a pod with something cool like an RPG I know people might get mad at you when you don't call one in for them or get mad saying you should call it not them since it's something that could influence wether a mission is a success or not to fix this you could have that pod or resupply only affect you I don't know exactly how it could work I just want cool rocket launchers.
Gotta hack the Controller to disable the turrets. Gotta Kill all the turrets to hack the controller
Perhaps move the controller to a hidden area with one or two turrets instead, so its an incentive to hack instead of destroying them all, perhaps hacking them even changes it to your side and they shoot bugs for 2 minutes before self destructing

mission idea: catch a bug imbued with morkite and than take it to the space rig. Starts with something like searching for blue lootbugs and than you call in eguipment to get it out of the cave in a big box (like the doreta one but closed) and you have lure the bugs inside and than send the thing away and that extract

I have been seeing alot of people making videos on overhauling or changing perks to legetimize some of the less used ones. I have thought of an idea to make certain perks be synergistic. Say you take second wind and dash together. That could allow you to recharge dash slightly faster or give you a little more dash time. Maybe taking quick deposit and re-supplier will overcharge your shields every-time you resupply. If you were able to implement a system like that where different perks together gave you specific benefits, I think people would mix and max them more.
can we have a pickaxe upgrade that increases power attack recharge time but because the power source is linked to the shield so the trade-off would be lower shield capacity and/or slower shield recharge rate and/or slower shield recharge start-up time after being drained completely?

I want to see a no-brain shooting tower defend kind of mode where the miners just try to survive and defend waves of bugs full of chaotic game play
-"Listen up, miners. Recently, we receive multiple abnormal activities from the (Hive or whatever) and we need to figure out what the hell is going on, we will send you and the (intel gathering machine) down there, protect it with your live until it done and we will get both you and the device out."
Mission control being a playable class, able to detect minerals, resources and loot underground and send special objects to assist the team, also being able to detect enemies before they spawn, but wont be able to be in the mission because they are in the space rig, using a players camera to see the things that happens in hoxxes
When a player is afk for 5 or so minutes, make the dwarf pull out a lunch box and snack a bit
A voice line where if you stick around in the drop pod for a couple minutes at the start of the mission, mission control comes on and says something along the lines of "Hey, wake up and get the hell out of the ship!"

Spending enough credits in tips makes Lloyd spin around with the randoweiser effect and gain a gold trim. Maybe his hat can turn gold, too.
If consoles allow for it: a native option for console players to export/import their save file to/from a removable storage device (like a USB stick) so that they could carry over their progress between console and PC versions of the game. This could be a decent workaround if network-based cross-progression isn't feasible (and would hopefully result in fewer people asking for crossplay

Is there a reason why jumping into the Death Loop in the Barrel minigame doesn't make you put on the medical scrubs? Some Dwarves would like going on missions in them without having to fail previous one

Hello everyone, had some time to kill and wanted to create a fan-made biome for fun. I don't expect this to get much upvotes but I wanted to share anyway for those who might find it interesting! 🙂
Rifthollow Karst
Terrain Layout:
The biome consists of an array of magnetic labyrinths, occasional open areas that feature hovering slabs of stone you can platform on, twisting ravines, and a relatively higher focus on verticality throughout the region."
Terrain Palette:
Dominated by obsidian-like colors, with hues ranging from violet, purple, blue, and dark grey.
Glowing features in yellow or white complement the dark, purplish terrain.
Atmospheric static flickers like embers in a magma core.
Biome-Specific Mechanic:
New Player Effect: "Polarized":
When polarized, certain environmental features react to the player's accumulated static.
Weather: Polarity Shift:
Static surges throughout the region, causing all dwarves to become polarized.
Functional Features:
Hover Slabs:
Floating stones that sink based on the weight placed upon them.
When polarized, these stones rise instead of sinking.
Maglev "Streams":
Streams of yellow-white pixels that "push" the "Surf-Slate Entities" along like a conveyor belt, during generation it'll either create pathing ravines, or "tubular tunnels" when needed. As a design perspective, multiple full-circle-patrol paths are procedurally generated, and the surf-slate is designated to follow them. (No physics required).. This also helps to open up the labyrinths so there's significantly less mazes and forced digging. In addition, when you are polarize, you can "fly in these areas like you're using jetboots"*
Surf Slate:
The entity that moves along these paths listed above, providing a moving platform for players. Surf Slates follow procedurally generated full circle pathways, are destroyable, and plentiful/large enough for crossing chasms.
Coarse Stone
On the jetting walls of the karst formations, these relatively lighter rocks litter loosely, hitting them will cause them to fall inward and downwards.. Dealing significant damage.. Watch where you shoot, or use it to your advantage!
Jolt Quartz:
Flat quartz formations that propel polarized dwarves in the direction they are facing when stepped on. These quartz formations have a slight "arrow" shape indicating their direction. The rotation of the quartz determines the trajectory, including verticality.
Another variety (Didn't think of a shape) would be more focused on verticality, allowing you to jump upwards
Flora:
Pulse Puff:
Yellowish Stalk-like cotton plants that emit a faint white glow, lighting the area.
When polarized, they "pop," releasing a "Hover Seed"—a bouncy, light-strobing item that is barely affected by gravity.
Sapper Shrubs:
Shrubs that grapple onto polarized dwarves, slightly slowing their movement and causing a slight tugging towards the center while draining polarity. Players can still move freely but with these effects in place.
Rubber Root:
Whitish, rubbery roots that can be slapped to discharge a player's polarity. Standing near one during a polarity shift will prevent the player from becoming polarized. They typically can be found in sparse clusters on walls; but in more open areas they can be found generated like a cushion pad on the floor. This compliments with the more vertical-based Jolt Quartz so you don't fall to your death.. In most cases, there would be at least one patch near a jolt quartz

Static Flickers:
Atmospheric particles reminiscent of embers, adding a unique visual element to the environment.
Modified Enemies
Some enemies could have variants here. A electrified Mactera would spew bolts of electricity in place of their grime. Making you accumulate polarity.
Praetorians glow yellow here, and have an aoe attack like the radioactive praetorian, but electrifying!
Some ideas to prevent single choice upgrades and to fix shield disruption can be reviewed individually with the emotes in brackets (

Input buffering for the grappling hook (and maybe also the zipline gun) so that holding the trigger causes the gun to fire as soon as terrain within range is aimed at.

If there was going to be a fifth class (which there probably won’t be), i think this would be a good idea for the “buildable” slot:
pulley launcher
A gun that launches pulleys, which stick to terrain and assemble themselves on contact, though they can’t be easily carried around or launched due to their heft, but they can be picked back up. A pulley appears as a robotic claw, connected by a cable to a base. Once deployed, it’ll automatically collect stray mineral pieces, one by one, and stuff them in it’s storage sack, a little bag on the side of it. Once full, or after a while of inactivity, the sack will pop off and get replaced on the pulley, dropping as a heavy object that contains everything it collected. It can also be called upon from a distance to relieve a dwarf of their minerals, without having to go to a deposit point, or to help carry a heavy object elsewhere.

Make a gun that shoots saw blades. Either for engineer as secondary or for gunner as primary. A chargeable weapon which deals melee damage as you charge it and bounces off the wall unlike the arc cutter
please add a chance for the tunnels between big rooms to spawn with small side rooms that contain a few extra goodies
maybe they could look like a smaller final room from the tutorial, or have an S/T shape
it would help make the caves feel a bit more natural
give a little bump in excitement whenever you find one
be a blessing on the occasional magma core fossil mission
and could lead to cool moments where the whole team sets up in one to defend against a swarm
What if, in the event that you had both the Exploder Infestation Warning and Gold Rush Anomaly on a mission, instead of extra large gold veins, the Exploders could be, for lack of a better explanation, mini Crassus Detonators, whose name could be something like Patrician Exploders, and would replace about 30-50% of all Exploders in the mission?
Promotions need to give more then deep dives as promoting kinda is useless after the first one and only just makes it look cooler, maybe give a lot of xp towards the battle pass for promoting
New scout grenade:
SHRIEKER Chemical Grenade 
”Utilising fear hormones unique to Hoxxes bugs, the SHRIEKER deploys a large cloud of special chemicals that’s sure to keep any bug away from you as you perform your important duties!”
While the SHRIEKER isn’t a typical scout grenade, due to the scout’s objective oriented nature, sometimes those pesky bugs get in the way of mineral mining or pumpjack assembly. By bringing these, you get two instant use protective clouds. They come with some drawbacks however, as they make you easy pickings for ranged enemies. The heavy density of hormones in the air reduce your sight and make you unable to see anything outside of the cloud, and since those spitters and Mactera can still shoot inside, this makes for a risky combo. However, the cost of protection from ground units for about 15-20 seconds is much more valuable than taking a few hits from a Mactera.
The grenade itself is a sticky canister, which explodes after a second and immediately releases a hormone cloud. Bugs will stay out of this unless they roll in like a Q’ronar as well. It acts like a mini gunner shield, however you only get two and they last for far longer but make you much more vulnerable to ranged attacks. Maybe don’t bring this to duck and cover…
You only get two of these due to how powerful it would be against scouts other grenades, and each lasts for 15 seconds and covers a sizeable area.
Can we pick the promotion medal we unlocked, i think the diamond is far prettier than the max level red one and would prefer to keep that one

April fools joke: it would be funny if one aprils fools day for a week the roles were reversed. All the glyfids looked like dwarves walking on all fours and the miners looked like weird bugs standing up straight. Same for Mission Control, he doesn’t speak just makes a bunch of bug sounds. The grenade bursts into a cone of shrapnel, a couple of meters before the calculated impact point (that being terrain, or bugs). Would be even cooler if the shrapnel bounced around a bit.

Each promotion would give you a small bonus of a few percent recources, gold and xp for that character. all the way down to the third legendary. It would add more meaning to big spending on the promotion and also add more progression. For example for promotion you are given 3% so on the first gold you would have a 21% bonus and on the third legendary and above you would have a 54% bonus. Also, nowadays, the promotions are only decorative. That's why they're promotions, to give you some kind of advantage.

Have a very very small chance for the driller when inspecting his flamethrower, he instead twirls a little barrel between his fingers
It’d add a lot of depth to customisation if you could choose your pants, shirt, and backpack separately

active perk: drone pilot
Grants access to an experimental BOSC-M drone, which can be commanded using the laser pointer and alt fire. It needs to charge occasionally on your back, it doesn’t act on it’s own, and it may not be as powerful as BOSCO, but it still has all the utilities that bosco has.
leveling this perk increases all stats by a small amount, including how long a charge lasts, how fast it charges, it’s mining speed, it’s damage, etc.
During an On site refining mission: Changing keystroke for grinding on pipelines ( "C" would be the best option imo, since there is no MULE on this type of mission). It gets a bit annoying when you grind away during pipeline repair/construction, because the same key bind is used :D.
You can try to place turrets on molly but you end up depositing them instead and have to spend 5 seconds of cursing fishing them out
If possible, ghost ship should ask microsoft to not need xbox live for online, its likely losing most interest in the game on xbox. Playstation and steam dont need to pay, so it seems unfair
It would be pretty cool if seasonal events could appear as secondary objectives for deep dives. (Steal a data deposit, destroy a large meteorite, or retrieve a corestone).
These wouldn't count for any extra seasonal progress though, so you can't just farm them whenever it comes up.
Add a firing range, where you can test out your weapons and builds and such, making it so you do not have to enter a mission to do so.

A few things, passive upgrade for when you revive teammates, it’s called something like “mix cocktail” where they’ll get a limited speed boost after revive since you put a little kick in it.
Second is a unique grenade for the scout, it’s a red sugar grenade. Wherever you throw it there’s a splash healing effect, a max of 40 health if you’re directly hit or very close and 20 health anywhere else in the vicinity. A unique thing about this grenade would be that you can mine a vein of red sugar if you’re completely out of grenades and have full health you can restock your grenade supply, you can’t just take one swing and replenish them all it’ll be a two swing = grenade
Next, give the driller a Molotov cocktail for a grenade, I want more flames and I want to throw them at my teammates.
It would be really cool if there was an idle animation for the driller where he takes out a fat cigar and lights it with his flamethrower and then all of his voice lines are slightly muffled cause he has a giant cigar in his mouth, which after awhile or excessive damage is finished because he’s just that fast at smoking
Could you remove the delay on the drillers drills because it’s annoying when I’m trying to get the drop pod and my cooldown goes up 20 percent then starts drilling

New Idea: Deep Dive Expedition
Introducing Deep Dive Expedition, available once a week and the same for all players, with an optional elite version. Successful completion can earn players a Matrix Core or other rewards.
In this scenario, management has discovered a massive tunnel complex called the Cavern Nexus, three times the size of regular tunnels, filled with various resources and objectives. To explore these, R&D has developed the Expedition Pod, designed for extended stays with multiple extensions and amenities. It features additional layers for space and turrets for protection. The drop pod from the space ring lands on top of the Expedition Pod and returns there when the expedition is over.
Expedition Structure:
The expedition includes 2-3 major mission objectives and 2-3 minor goals, spread across the Cavern Nexus. Due to the area size, managing resources like ammunition is crucial. To help, the Expedition Pod includes a new tool similar to pipelines but without the need for construction. These mini-pipes allow easy setup of pathways, providing a quick way to return to the Expedition Pod.
Random events could occur during these expeditions, adding variety.
Additional Features:
The Expedition Pod might be attacked by enemy waves, requiring defense, which adds excitement but could be challenging to implement.
A larger expedition variant could have 6-9 major missions, requiring crews to return to the station for resupply and pacing. Completing all missions could trigger a final boss fight or special mission, like facing the Dreadnought Queen, though this may be complex to develop.
Certain missions, such as oil site refinement, can only be initiated from the Expedition Pod, which would be equipped with a Drilldozer. For Point Extraction missions, the Expedition Pod could function like a Minehead, with Aquarqs delivered to Molly.
A simple idea: when a gun (eg the bulldog) has an explosive rounds mod active, make the rounds visually explode to give an idea for how large the aoe is. Currently the round lands as normal and just does an invisible aoe of damage around the impact

When it's someones first time joining a Hazard 4 mission there should be a box to check acknowledging it's higher difficulty, or have it locked behind promotion, or behind a mission strand. Far far too often do I have Greenbeards joining a mission because their quest tells them to only to have them die repeatedly and then leave, or cost the mission.

engineer grenade that teleports the player to the location it was thrown at.
i'll flesh this out a bit more. the grenade is completely defensive, just being focused on being mobile and being able to escape enemies when in a bind. theoretically, you could use it offensively via getting behind a dreadnaught or an oppressor and getting to a weak point on some other enemy or even just getting stuck in a fight like an ork (WAAAAAAGH!!!), but it is mainly meant to get out of a fight that you know you can't win or that would cause you to lose too much just to win.
i would say that it acts like the ender pearls from Minecraft but instead of being able to hold 16, you can only hold 4.
I think Hover Boots need rework be honest.

Give all weapons the full 15 proper perks that allow for the most possible options and possible playstyles.
If a players wants to go max ammo or max damage, they should be able to.
But it just feels kind of ridiculous that the devs have added so much to the game but not fixed this part of it.
A “Mark as read” or “Mark as seen” for cosmetic closets and the weapon equip terminal, just so you have an easy way to get rid of all of the notifications
Suggestion 2
This one may be a little "controversial", but I feel like I should say it anyway.
But the suggestion is to somewhat do away with the "Balanced" OCs and have the Clean ones be the more basic but still meaningful ones and the Unstable ones really focus on changing how the weapons work.
Before anyone gets mad, I don't hate all the OCs or anything, I just feel like many of them don't do nearly as much as they should, while others are completely overshadowed by others.
I mean, who's going to take the clean ammo OC for the Gunner's Minigun over the balanced ammo one?
It's literally a choice between +300 ammo vs +800 ammo and the slightest reduction in firing speed. I certainly never noticed it.

New modification for the sentry. I don't know if they add new mods but I had an idea:
Auto Fill:
If the sentry has not fired a bullet for 3 seconds, 5 ammo will be refilled every 2 seconds.
One thing I've always thought about in drg is how come we don't see any of the aftermath from previous missions, or how the dwarves are able to breathe without using equipment? And I then thought of something that could be really cool for the lore of drg. What if there was a mission where you dive into a place that is barren of minerals, which means no nitra or gold or other resources, but the mission has a higher payout despite being shorter. Once you enter the cave, a console will drop down that has one resupply for each player (each player has their own resupply that no one else can use in order to prevent trolling). And the objective of this mission is to build, activate, and guard a special type of two stage explosive that's powered by a heartstone fragment. First you have to call down the first set pieces to the explosive using the console, assemble those pieces, call in the second pieces, assemble those, call in the third pieces, assemble those, until you call in the last piece, the heartstone fragment. And then, once you activate the explosive, it needs to charge for a certain amount of time, and would need to be guarded. Once it's charged, a timer will start until the detonation and all the remaining enemies will burrow trying to run away, and the drop pod will come back down at a set distance away because the charging heartsone will fry the circuitry of the drop pod. Then the players have to run to the drop pod within that time in order to escape the explosion. And as you run to the drop pod, the ground will slowly turn to magma from the heat of the explosive.
Which brings us to the reason for this explosive, the first stage of the explosive is designed to turn a large radius of Hoxxes crust into magma, (which would erase any trace of previous missions👀) and with the weird energies of the hearstone, more resources are made, yaaaayyyy. And then for the second stage of the bomb; which is a chemical reaction that would create an immense amount of oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon dioxide that would bubble in the magma and create new caves. This would explain why the dwarves are able to breath in the caves, and why the caves are so unusually smooth (for the most part), and the low oxygen missions as well, they're just caves that didn't get the right amount of oxygen, but still enough nitrogen and carbon dioxide to create a bubble in the magma to make a cave.
TLDR: new mission: drop in cave, no resources :(, big paycheck makes it worth it tho :), console come down with resupp, use console to order bomb pieces, build bomb, activate bomb, guard bomb while bomb charging, run from bomb, bomb melts everything and then blows bubbles with resources inside : D

Ok not sure if anyone thought of this yet, id be surprised if no one thought about it but. How about a new addon in the future that has underwater missions? Or like water themed maps. You can use dive equipment that you can call down after getting a certain objective to go under water to collect special pearls/gems, and maybe introduce new mobs that are also sea/water themed.

Bosco right now feels like he can only really act like a scout, which is very limiting.
Perhaps you could give him a "tool option".
For example, if you ping the ground or a wall trying to fire a rocket, bosco could instead shoot a platform, or drop a shield, or dig in that direction with drills. Of course, more limited than if another player was with you, but having those options would make him far more useful.
Also, please, make shots go through him.
New Wave Cooker tier 4 mod: "Chef's Kiss"
- Pressing reload activates an alternate firing mode that deals reduced damage, but cooks bugs to perfection, causing them to drop "morsels" of cooked flesh upon death that heal for a small amount when picked up.
- Healing could be proportional to the number of times the bug is hit by the waves.
- "Morsels" could trigger reluctant or grossed-out voicelines when consumed by other dwarves.
If you join during the drop pod escape sequence and escape successfully my dwarf should go "Damn I'm good at this!" Or "Well that was easy."

One of the best season-specific decorations is the Prospector Drone chained below the gravity stabilizer. I started playing after Season 2, but now that previous seasons can be accessed, I have seen it in all its glory. I suggest that some aspects of previous seasons stick around as the Rig advances in season number. Now that we're in Season 5, we have the Core Stones, Crawler faces, etc around the Space Rig. But having a couple canisters of lithophage samples left lying around or the Prospector Drone still chained up would be a good nod to the story's progression over the seasons. Just some little easter eggs, not enough to detract from the new seasons' decor.
(edit) Also, Hacksy just chilling out working in the second-story bay is amazing, and now going to any other season it feels wrong that he isn't there. He's all RGB kitted out, doing his job, he should always be on board the Rig. Just having Lloyd was fine before I knew Hacksy was around, but now I don't want to see him leave...
Might be too big of a suggestion but I think a mann vs machine type event where the dwarves fight robot dwarves made by the enemy corporation would be awesome

then it points at a dwarf with a laser for 3 seconds its turn speed about the same as the twin slicer on the OMEN tower. during this the laser gets thicker and gets louder. then the laser fires for 15 seconds, tracking the dwarf that is closest to the beam. doing 50 damage per second to any dwarf or ally in contact with the laser. the laser then recharges for 15 seconds before doing the 3 second aim step again
the laser cannon can be destroyed but has a shield covering 280 degrees, with the shield opening being where its facing. the shield does NOT protect from above but the cannon as about as much health as an oppressor

Kind of like a combo of escort duty and Salvage Operation.
The pitch: on Solo Missions, the BOSCO units are left behind.
It doesn’t seem very economical to me for dwarves to leave behind a perfectly good drone, so here was my idea: they program BOSCO units to congregate in a given area and send a team to pick them all up.
Your job is to find them, clear a path, and guide them to the extraction.
There’s a minimum amount of them required to make it to the safe zone to succeed in the mission, so if you don’t play carefully, you’re cooked.
PGL overclock idea:
Shoots three grenades at once, in the way a tri jaw shoots their projectiles.
With less ammunition, or less area damage/radius to balance it

For me, the Morkite Geode portion of Deep Scan feels…I don’t know, kinda boring. One of the voice lines of the dwarves even says “Get the Morkite Seeds before we’re overrun!” Everything about the end of a Deep Scan mission screams bugs pouring out of every crevice, yet once you arrive at the Morkite Geode, they are nowhere to be found. With that in mind: I suggest that the Drillevator swarm should continue once you reach the Morkite Geode.

the reason is that gyro via steam input binds gyro controls to a virtual mouse which makes the game a bit jarring to the said gyro users when the game is constantly fighting over either to use the gamepad ui or kb+m ui
if steam input isnt a priority atm can you guys add an option for the user to force which ui they want to see
New active perk: (i don't know does this idea was said before) Striking Salute. Hold salute button to activate. Your salute voiceline plays in an louder volume with an echo. For few seconds you or the nearby fellow dwarves who press salute will make nearby bugs flee in terror from ptsd of hearing those lines in any mission.

A Drilldozer-inspired side objective for Deep Dives that consists of filling up two cannisters for Doretta via Oil Shales. The cannisters spawn in a small pod that would leave after insert full ones into it. Oil Shales spawn around the pod, and you could even have it so that you need to protect the pod from bugs after the cannisters are taken out.
What about a beer that called "lucky dwarf"every time you drink it it has a 20% chance to give a large boost(speed,strength,health)
And 80% chance to give you two random red warning for that mision or deep dive.But the only way to find out if you got the warning or the boost is by starting the mision and stepping out of the drop pod
The description of the Thunderhead says to watch for recoil but it just has a huge spread even when upgraded for max accuracy, which makes using it unsatisfying for many people (including me)

700 hour player: I am BEGGING you for more than 6 loadout slots. I use every microcosm of the 6 loadouts for each character that you give us but it is not nearly enough. We should've had a new slot for every season by now at the very least. With the new overclocks they went beyond bursting at the seams in terms of maximum usage. We are beyond that now with no room for experimental builds etc. I am ready to fill out an A - Z at this point.

Allow us to put a hat on Doretta. Maybe you get to pick it outside the game (kinda like Bosco). If multiple people are playing, the hat of the party leader is applied. Or maybe they stack like in TF2
A combo with the gunner, basically, the six shooter and a cowboy hat gives the gun an ability, like slowing down time for everyone, during that time your bullets deal more damage, no recoil and no spread, and ends with a reload and a 2 minute cooldown. I just wanna embrace the inner ranger with the big iron on his hip
The more I play deep rock galactic survivor the more i believe that overclocks should be added to engineer’s turrets. Like imagine being able to have turrets that follow you around, or turrets that mine ore if you ping it, but they use more ammo or move slowly, something like that.
If anyone else has played solo on haz 5, you know how annoying and nerve wracking it can be exploring half a cave, unable to find the 80 nitra you need for a resupply. For solo mode you do NOT need a full resupply for a single dwarf.
Make a resupply with 2 slots that costs 40 nitra. That plenty of ammo for one dwarf in a single resup, AND its a realistic amount of nitra a single dwarf, by themselves, that isnt scout, can get before the first swarm comes.
Poacher Spears overclock for the boltshark that heavily increases damage and adds blowthrough, but lowers ammo count and makes bolts unretrievable

Mission type: clearance
“Alright, miners. This time, i’ll be doing some of the mining. All i need you to do is to connect, then power up some coordinate trackers so we can mark the exact location of the giant luxore gem, and blast it to bits with the orbital laser. Afterwards, miners, salvage what you can.”
This mission requires dwarves to connect and then trek back to power on 3+ coordinate trackers, all roughly surrounding a massive jewel comprised of many types of jewels, giving it a beautiful rainbow-ish look. The trackers require 2 people (bosco counts) to turn on, are usually very spaced out, and all mission-critical objects are displayed on the deep scanner. If you end up alone, you can request another emergency bosco unit at any coordinate tracker, which will only be used to turn on the tracker before detonating. After the last tracker is turned on, Mission Control will start blasting the surface of hoxxes with the orital laser, drawing in lots of bugs. After some time, the laser will eventually reach the gem, and heat it up enough to burst into pieces. Afterwards, the dwarves deposit any surviving large chunks if the gem, then call the escape can and get out of there.
Change some of the stats of the classes to be different from one another, for example gunner being slower but having more shield an health maybe engineer has faster interaction speed with certain things like repairing and building pipelines. it'll be a simple change that goes a long way

yes, i know i have made another perk suggestion by the same name, but i feel this is more appropriate for said perk name.
You perform x% better when interacting with mission critical objects or enemies. This can take the form of getting more morkite/holomite/oil shale per chunk, interacting with/maintaining/repairing machinery faster, having a chance at getting a bonus resource from booloo caps/fossils/ebonuts, or dealing bonus damage to enemies tied to an objective.
I don’t expect this to do well, since it still takes up a perk slot, but the idea is that it allows your team to be done with any little objective sooner than without the perk.

Similar to how some other Passive perks have two sides, have Second Wind perk activate its boost immediately when you start running after you get revived (grace period of, say, 3 seconds). Maybe even lower the time needed to revive you?
100 perk points to unlock the ability to parry melee attacks with the pickaxe.
Fix for things (drop pod for example) being unreachable: An algorithm which calculates a somewhat walkable path to a point.
Start: One could use an almost infinitely complex algorithm, but, at least for the drop pod, I'd simply use the point from where the drop pod has been called.
End: Place nodes wherever it is that needs a path to, in this case the possible locations of the drop pod. (This is so that it has the possibility to finish earlier)
Path: On top of the start-point I'd place a voxel (A cuboid with the rough dimensions of a dwarf).
Next I'd place cuboids on every face of the first and run a few checks:
- Is more than 50% of the area overlapping with hard material (a wall for example).
- Is there more then one cuboid between the current one and the next standable ground (obviously it checks that only in the direction of the already generated voxels)
- If not both of the above mentioned conditions are met, don't generate new voxels around the current one
Lastly, place voxels on the unoccupied faces of all voxels and repeat (Perhaps implement a variable that locks a face if it has been fount to be incapable of having another voxel next to it)
Repeat the checks and placement until a voxel overlaps with an end-node or untill it is impossible to spread further.
Or if no end-node is reached one could know every location that is reachable from a certain point with just walking (and a bit of climbing or use of a pickaxe).
Now one could choose from one of these in order to place the drop pod. (Or whatever else that needs placing)
This may draw a lot op performance, so perhaps it should be a setting in the menu.

(I also initially was thinking of adding a popularity but realized that it would encourage meta-gaming, which is the last thing i want for any video game)

You have a bay of your own every time you join, but what if we could change theme or style, for example; "I would set my Bay to be Christmas style, it would had a cute snowflakes effect, candy stripped red & white, small Christmas tree by near window next to bed, a wall would be fancy green dark with stripped but also a gold on the bottom, or if you want a halloween theme, summer, etc anything you want! Just for fun, having good time, show off to your friends, and all! BUT in order to do so, there will be an assignment or event challenge, during season? A new room in the Space Rig that has the Mini Drop pod in it that acts as a way to quick join games. Dwarves just walk onto the platform with it automatically finding you a game to complete your assignment or Season Challenges instead of going through 2 menus with a chance of it booting you back to your living quarters to repeat the whole process again. And a terminal right next to the pod that you can enable or disable certain things like returning to the Space Rig with the other dwarves since we all have seen those Dwarves who only show up for a single game with them leaving after a mission is over.
there should be more armor, weapon, pickaxe and bosco paint jobs that match eachother. The only skins that do that, excluding the DLCs, is Speckled Predator and Boot Camp. I really want to see Bubblegum, Lemon Clean and Deep Sea Defender armor, pickaxe and bosco skins.
Face Melter rework:
- Replace the flow rate "improvement" with an additional damage bonus against burning targets
- Replace the fuel tank capacity reduction with a sticky flame duration reduction
A new bio zone where gravity is really wacky all over the place. Like in certain places it could be normal, then you walk into an area of super low gravity, or super high gravity, or just straight up inverted or sideways gravity. That could make for some really fun missions
A Mission or Event where you have to smoke out a big Mactera Nest. With Big Hexagon like constructs.
Maybe if you start, there will come out one or two big mactera "dreadnoughts" or whatever you are gonna call them.

a small bonus for bringing in extra objective materials and being able to collect extra (as in it’s showed on the objective marker like 8 out of 7 collected) that way the little extra morkite seeds that spawn, or morkite, any objective you collect you get a small bonus for deciding to stay extra time and look for the extra spawned items.

the option to turn off in game text chat completely or a WORKING profanity filter would be fantastic. I do have the profanity filter turned on, but it misses all the mild and explicit language from other players, and they aren't even trying to spell it uniquely to get around the filter. If the filter is too difficult to address, then an option just to turn off the in game text chat would be welcomed. It seems like turning of general chat seems pretty standard nowadays in other games. I am a family man in my mid 40s and an old geezer - I have very little in common with foul mouthed teenagers and college age kids to want read what they have to say in in-game chat. I just want to rock and stone.

Reworking the MkII turret to be more viable. As it currently stands, its a much worse upgrade in comparison to the Gemini upgrade. I would suggest giving it an even farther range, a faster reload, and the ability to break armor better, somewhere around 150% so it can do better against heavier enemies starting off
A voice line when a dwarf kills a lootbug, they feel guilty (something rare but would add a bit more wholesomeness)

There could even be a disappointed/mad dwarf that witnessed the murder which would go like "man I was getting used to that lil guy" or "Hey! That was my pet [insert lootbug name], c'mon now" idk stuff like that would be fun

Optimize console a bit more. The average framerate for ps4 on hazard 5 or above is around 30 fps, with frame drops being so extreme that they can reveal when a wave has spawned. At times the game can feel unplayable, having to deal with 15 or less fps while dealing with particularly massive swarms.
Enemy Ideas: A mini boss for an event thats optional which summons a golem. It has a health bar that can only be damaged by shooting off its exterior flesh, which is based on the biome it spawns in, creating variations of the encounter (examples are a glacial golem have the ability to cause freezing status effects, while a bog golem could create poison/neurotoxin). How you actually kill the boss is by damaging its crystal skeleton/frames weak points with your pickaxe once you damage it enough to go down (destroying its exterior). The reward for destroying the golem is its valuable heart and the minerals that it spews out after death, depending on the biome of course. Ideas for its attacks are a big smack, roots it can plunge into the ground to track dwarves and hurt them, a small ranged varied elemental burst from its chest and possibly more. It would also be able to create terrain to shield itself and block off escape points mayhaps. Drillers drills and C4, Gunners Primaries can be examples of how to get better damage in on its flesh, as it doesn't really take damage in a regular way.
A chance for small pocket caverns generating a short ways away from the main cave that shows up like a shadow on the map, similar to how the ghost shows up, that contain alien puzzle vaults. it could be a season thing, or maybe when the puzzle is complete it gives the option to buy one of a set of random cosmetic cores, heck the error cubes could be the currency for them.
a random, rare chance for your pickaxe to be replaced with a solid gold version when entering a mission
"Come and get me you disgusting bugs!" perk that lure all bugs in large radius. Work 5/10/15/20sec, after that recharge for 120sec, doesn't stop working when dwarf is prone.

Unlimited / Custom (Elite) Deep Dives for Extended Endgame Content
Next to the current Deep Dives, that give Cores and Overclocks, I'd love to see the option to randomly generate more (Elite) Deep Dives, that just reward maybe some extra credits / resources. Something simple, just a new button in the Deep Dives Console, i.e. "Create Deep Dive", maybe with a Slider for a "Custom Depth" (maybe 3-8 instead of a fix 3) and maybe Hazard selection. Then just create a random chain of missions, with the custom depth/count, and create the maps as is already with standard Dives. Once completed or failed, this Dive is gone and the button generates a new string of missions.
Me and my team love the fact, that you gotta manage your resources for what's to come, so after the weekly Dives, normal missions feel less interesting to us.
Add a voice line somewhere in the game that goes "I want to rock and stone all night, and mine gold everyday" to the tune of that KISS song.
There should be a little self interruption voice clip that plays if Mission Control starts a voice line a bit before the thing he’s talking about ends, just something like “oh never mind” or “it looks like everything’s alright actually.” It makes him feel really unnatural whenever he tells me I need to repair the dozer as the heart stone breaks, or to keep bugs off hack-c when he’s being sent into orbit

TF2 is known for having crossed over with other games, releasing new weapons and skins to mark the partnership.
Not only would I love to see weapons like the CRSPR in TF2, but imagining Scout as Scout, Engineer as Engineer, Driller as Pyro, and Gunner as Heavy with cosmetics would make my entire life for both games.

There's no way I'm the first to suggest this.
Color code people's screen names based on their character. Red for Engineer, blue for scout, etc.
If there's more than 1 engineer/scout/driller/gunner give them different shades of that color.
Driller's drills getting optional upgrades fire, ice, or acid just like his 3 main weapons.
acid will make drilling through the ground faster but quickly use up the fuel, ice will freeze enemies but slow down drilling through the ground, and fire will burn enemies but the drills will overheat faster
A color-blind option specifically for flare colors. I can't differentiate between Engineer/Gunner/Driller flare cores which gets tedious if I'm trying to follow a burnt flare trail; I also dislike needing to use a game-wide color filter just for a single object type
The blood sugar positive attribute to a map is not really that positive. I recommend it be re-categorized as red or hazardous, since the constant loss of life easily overcompensates for any possible perk of being able to get energy from bugs
Make it so when you've met the mission quota for say morkite or aquarqs, if you then collect more it should give bonus rewards
Maybe a voice like for when you try to call a supply plod but you don’t have enough nitra like “good dammit, i really need that ammo” or something

if the devs actually read this place, make a toned down version of the heightened senses overlay appear when getting pinged by teammates to know if they want something from you easier. This is especially useful for scouts so they know to mine a vein of nitra or engies for platforms and sentries.
Add a tool called bandages so when you use it, you slowly regenerate health until full. If you get hit while regenerating, the regeneration stops. The maximum bandages you can carry is 5. You can use it with any class and it's unlocked by default. There are upgrades such as regenerating quicker or more hits until stop regeneration.

Add the deactivated Mactera Fire Bomber, as well as Glyphid "adaptations" to the Magma Core. Chiefly:
-Have the Glyphid Grunts, Swarmers and variants have the inverse resistances/weaknesses of the Glacial Strata variants (25% Fire Damage Resistance, 25% Ice Damage Vulnerability)
-The Glyphid Praetorians should become Glyphid Flame Praetorians, having a color scheme not dissimilar to the Glyphid Dreadnought. They should spit out flames instead of acid (basically a weaker version of the Glyphid Dreadnought Lacerator's Flame Breath attack), and when killed, they should leave behind a patch of flames functionally identical the Gunner's Incendiary Grenade, but with no damage reduction.

Remove septic spreaders homing effect on their projectile, to allow more counterplay by dodging them.

Add a lot of entertainment content to the lobby.
It sounds so-so, but the more entertainment you have - the more you want to sit in the lobby and then go into battle.
My suggestion is to add more arcade machines or places to enjoy.
An example is a pong game for two. It will be cool how the developers will do it.
Hit the glyphid - use a hammer to beat the glyphid before they bite dorreta - Dorreta has 5 stripes - 5 attempts.
Add a training room where you can check for OC weapons and more. And also a room for checking auxiliary weapons - for example, a scout's hook.
These are my examples - you can add your own. I will be glad if something similar is added in season 6. But prob season 6 will be in 2 years, cuz the new DRG game)
I dont know how falling in it would work, but I think the abyss cave featured in the recent below decks would add breathtaking moments while mining
A random event in a mission where the caves are about to collapse (maybe an earth quake?) And individual rescue pods (similar to the ones dropped when a player joins mid-mission) that each miner has to race to for extraction, but each pod is randomly placed about the map. 😏
Upon death:
Frozen praetorians don't produse gas
Frozen goobombers don't goo
Frozen detonators don't explode
Frozen spreaders don't produce acid
Yet frozen core stone defenders still produce their acid upon death. Why? A suggestion to change that.
In the Drilldozer mission when the rock orbs are coming from underneath that insta break Dorettas armor there should be voice lines when it starts about how to stay away from the dozer, a voice line when you get trapped away from Doretta "Good thing I wasn't near Dotty!" and a voice line apologizing to Dotty when your trap breaks the armor of Doretta.
For such a new, punishing mechanic they should really drive home how it works.
I would like to see more weekly/daily stuff to do. Like only two weekly assignments seems to go by really fast and only having one daily mission for the season pass is pretty small. (Deep dives are fine) but having the small stuff like missions and assignments are a lot of fun to try and complete. It would be nice to have a little more to do during the week. Not that it’s bad or that you can’t play the game without it but I just find that I can pretty much get all the weekly stuff done in one night of playing.

This algorithm would rely on a bunch of voxels doing some stuff to find all possible points a dwarf could reach without using tools (apart from a pickaxe)
Voxels can be:
Solid: over 50% overlap with hard stuff
Ground: somewhat walkable
And they can be divided into 4 areas (see image), those have their own properties:
Solid: over 50% overlap with hard stuff (here not being solid has an importance)
- Create voxel at start point (Box the rough size a dwarf)
- Create voxel at every face that did not place a voxel before (also never place a voxel where one already is)
- Check for overlap with hard stuff (walls; crystals) IF < 50% -> define voxel as solid
- Have solid voxels divided into 4 areas (shown in image)
- check them for solidity
- check if a pair of a solid at the bottom and one not solid on top exists
-> if so: define the bottom voxel as ground
- Delete / deactivate voxels with more then 1 step to ground (ground itself has a distance of 0)
We really need more cave generation types. Huge chasms, mazes of stalagmites, cathedral-like crystal caverns, and whatever the hell else you can come up with. The beauty of the biomes you guys have created feels almost under utilized, and would add a lot more variety to how teams have to adapt to missions.
I would really like to see more rocket type things to do. Something about launching the morkite pump and the point extraction rockets just tickles part of my brain. I would love to see more thing to launch back to the space rig pretty much exactly like the core stone rocket. That was perfect. Maybe if we could have stuff like big compacted gold nuggets or big deposits of crafting minerals that you can’t put into or on molly so you have to call down a mini retrieval rocket to launch it back just like the core stone. Also it would be cool to be able to launch the empty supply pods back up for recycling. I’d like to think that the company doesn’t like to waste resources so making it to where they can reuse the stuff you call down would be cool. Like once the supply pod is empty it’ll launch back up just like the hacking drone. And the cleansing pod. All you gotta do is put the guns back on the holder and once all of them are back then it’ll go back up as well. Overall I just want more rockets to shoot back up to the space rig… plz

hey I have an idea of a new type of machine event, you would find a rival structure similar to a capsule at the beginning of the cave and when 1 of the players activate it will start a 30 second countdown after the time runs out it will open releasing an indestructible humanoid machine, carrying a large lazer machine gun it will chase the dwarf who activated the capsule for 30 minutes and when it runs out it will explode, if he knocks down the dwarf he captures him and he takes him to the capsule holding him until the end of the mission, NOTHING stops him not even the strongest of creatures will stop him (creatures will be hostile to him) if he manages to survive everyone will have the bonus of 30,000 credit and 1,000 of each crafting resource. Would you change anything?

when i ping a steeve it makes a voiceline for the hostile version of the enemy, and i dont wanna ping a steeve and say "glyphid slasher, i hate those things". it just doesnt feel right whe im tryina point out steeve
there should be voice lines for if you dig to the geode yourself (which i did with some friends and was unfortunately not rewarded with funny voice lines) i want a funny mission control line we need to make him angry or bewildered more often

I would like to see (sorry if this has been said before a gazillion times) the option to choose your specific mission from your assignments. Same mission type. i.e. If I have to do an On-Site Refining with Haunted Cave but there is another on the map with Double XP, I should be able to switch to that one and have it count for the assignment.

Add a beer buff, something called "Para ale Universe" that has a delayed reaction to it. When consumed, your dwarf should react as if it has no alcohol, or they got ripped off. The crafting ingredients will also be expensive, like 25 barley bulbs, and 100 of everything else, and it will also require one error cube to brew. After you complete your mission and hit the button on the MULE, the dwarves who drank it will enter a downed state, similar to blackout stout, then you teleport to a new cave generation with all gold as the terrain, and a ton of minerals, korlok seeds, compressed golds and bitter gems, and every mineral is one hit. And you have 2 minutes to mine as many minerals as possible, and whatever you mine won't require a mule to deposit, after 2 minutes, you teleport back to the regular caves, mission control will comment how you didn't show up on the map, and is surprised with how much you've mined.

Drillers primary's having more environmental effects. We know there's the little detail that using the flamethrower in Glacial Strata causes the ice to melt. But it would be interesting if it worked on plant life as well like in Hollow Bough with the red vines everywhere. Similarly with the Cryo Cannon being to cool off Hot Rocks in Magma core from any of the explosions caused during the expedition and freeze Sticky Goo in the Fungus Bog. Where as with the Corrosive Sludge pump it will generally eat away at the terrain it sticks to, especially any crystal structures being instantly dissolve by the stuff.

Make the pipelines in the refinery missions take damage from BUGS, not from faulty equipment (overtime).
Yes the bugs go to damaged pipes, but they are not the cause of the break. If the players are good enough they should be able to stop breaks.
(You could always limit the amount of total breaks in the pipeline, to stop a massive swarm from just flooding every single pipe. Or just make them all go to one of the pipeline parts kind of like how they do now)
An upgrade for scouts armour that makes all grabbers (mactera + leech) prioritize him instead of other dwarves. It would make scout more useful as bait. Could also make him absorb all explosion damage that was going to hit nearby teammates.
rework elevators to have a button or lever.
Idk if anyone has suggested this yet but I think a feature to customize the space rig could be awesome like different skins for Lloyd and different paint around the ship
Pheromone Grenade should cover Dwarves too, should they come into contact with it, similar to Dreadnaught's attack. The bugs would still prioritize Pheromoned bugs, but once there are no more of those they'll prioritize Dwarves. Scouts could use this to make enemies focus on more tanky classes, like Gunner or Driller, which is a feature I saw people suggest a lot. If you're worried about griefing, then that's the risk with grenades in general, and this wouldn't be much worse than other friendly fire, just instead of blowing your teammate up you make them a meat shield.

heres a picture of the gun i used as inspiration for the Deepcore GK50, its the Sig MG 338 machine gun. the only reason i called this LMG the Deepcore GK50 is because the GK2 came to mind while i was thinking of this suggestion so i thought, "why not have them be in the same weapon family?" because it would make a bit of sense.

i think that the warthog is a great weapon, it fits the engineer better than the Loki or the stubby, and i honestly feel like he's got a great kit, better for clearing hordes than the driller, better at defense than the gunner, he's just an all round wonderful class, but i feel like the warthog should get one more T5 upgrade that instead of making it full auto or making the turret fire a bigger bullet, i would say that it should instead make your shotgun just have a bit more accuracy or have a tighter spread.
the reason i propose this is because i feel like when i play engineer, i never use the turret because it makes the game too easy or i just don't use them at all because the game is already too easy the other players on my team, so i think that having full auto + the turrets or TW on the turrets would just make the game so easy that its just not worth even doing anything anymore. so this would make that not be so big.
Pressing e while dancing should change what dance you're doing, stepping in and out of the circle a thousand times to get the right one always sucks
There are apparently unused lines where Mission Control berates you for causing ruckus in the Memorial Hall. While him scolding you for Saluting or running would get annoying fast, kicking a barrel there would be enough to set him off, while being too far out there for someone to trigger it accidentally
Charge suckers only ever being seen on combat mules always kinda felt weird to me, if you could find them on anything else they’d feel more like they’re actually part of the ecosystem. Like maybe in salvage operation one of the mini mules could have a charge suckers on it and you’ve gotta kill it instead of finding its legs, heck, even just being stuck to the electric crystals in crystalline cavern would do a lot

Deprioritize petting Steve over reviving a teammate. Depriortize petting Steve over anything at all. You can only pet Steve when there's no other possible action in your vicinity.
It also seems if there's an armored guard next to a grunt, I seem to always recruit the grunt. Like, hell no, that's not at all who I wanted.
I think you should be able to ride on Steeve. Hold E then you mount Steeve. You'd be able to ride him up walls and on ceilings so you can get otherwise unreachable minerals and goodies. Steeve wouldn't be able to attack when mounted but you could still do stuff like use weapons and your pickaxe.

I think a lot of primaries need a buff, like the shotfun for enginner still kinda sucks, and some overclocks are just outright bad. Take big bertha for example, it increases damage to like 27 or something, which is decent, but then it removes all splash damage and a lot of mag size. Compare that to mortar rounds which both kills literally everything faster, but also takes less ammo to do so, and it gets a MASSIVE splash damage buff. So there is literally zero reason to run big bertha over mortar rounds, like ever.
My idea for a buff, is massivly buff the base thunderhead autocannon, it just really sucks. It has such bad spread that its minimal damage increase over the minigun just is NOT good enough. Make the base thunderhead actually useable, like 2 shots grunts to the head with no upgrades, and 4 shots them to the body. Then make the mortar rounds overclock nerf the gun so that with the overclock it acts fairly simularly to how it does now, cause mortar rounds feels amazing. that way all the pother overclocks have something to work with.
Edit: I just checked the stats, and the minigun with no upgrades does about half the damage of the thunderhead autocannon per shot. But the lead storm minigun fires like 20 times as fast, and is much more accurate, it also gets a lot more bullets.
Volume III for the ost!!! The songs aren't getting old by any means but it'd be really fresh to hear new ones. It's soooo good I need more music.
I have a decent idea for a new biome (which can come with a new mission type I just don’t know what kind) basically in the loading screen before you land in a mission there are occasionally some moons visible. So what if the moons were the new biome. There could be a newly discovered resource or something and the company didn’t think to look there sooner. This may be the only way to get a new biome since the level this game takes place has pretty much been explored. And I assume most of the new biomes are going to be with rogue core since that game will take place a lot deeper. So having the moon be a new biome for the original game would be pretty sick. Or better yet the moons can be home to many (3-4) new biomes with a few different new missions and secondary missions. There could also be some of the old biomes on the moons as well. I feel like that would really beef up the mission selection and variety. And of course just have some of the usual missions on the moon as well, as long as they make since to have. Could also be a good time to add more enemy types as well. Even a couple that only show up on the moons. (Like that rammer glyphid from the board game). Also I’ve seen some people talking about the idea of a mactera dreadnaught. This could be a perfect place to add it. Gravity would be too strong on the main planet for it to be able to develop but on the (slightly) lower gravity of the moons it would be a perfect environment for something that big to be able to fly with all its armor and whatnot. Overall adding the moons could open a lot of doors for expanding the game in many ways. Also I may have put too much thought into this. Thanks for reading. Rock and Stone!
Hot hands - an ability that allows you to start rubbing both of your hands, once you reach the max meter on the rub it allows you to do certain actions.
- Fire slap - after rubbing both hands you now have the ability to slap any enemy with your hands to burn enemies or you can slap a teammate to give them warmth(cancels the cold effect and any enemy that touches them will be burnt) this will stay on for 10 seconds after 10 seconds you have to rub again
- Self slap will give you warmth

Zip lines should be faster (or the option to go faster). Too often the zipline feels vastly inferior to platforms or a drilled tunnel. If base speed was 2-3x faster, I feel like they would be far more useful (and far less perilous) to use.

As the description says, the perk would give you an extra pickaxe charge as well as giving you slightly faster power attack speed, so you can chain your extra one in quicker. The extra charge would charge up while your power attack is fully charged, giving you a little extra damage or a little extra mining speed. Useful for ebonite!

I think it would be cool if you added a pet system of existing aliens or new ones and make them very rare but you can find there eggs in caves different depending on the biome and you equipped them in the wardrobe and they can help with missions for example you can add a creature that has a light and lights up a small area or one that attacks mobs not strong but still helps or you can add ones that help find ores and a mole creature that helps dig more but I’m not saying to add any of these specifically although you can do some with those ability but just a pet system if you do consider it make them rare/hard to get and make them not too over powered but they still noticeably help
The Dwarves need food!!! I'm sorry, but they can't survive on beer alone and have been for too long. the boys need sandwiches and burgers that give unique stat bonuses or do fun effects in the station. Also having a buddy for Lloyd would be nice. A little fry cook robot named Dave would be epic. Plus it'd be great marketing to have an official Deep Rock canteen cookbook; with recipes for each kind of beer, and food item.

automatic shotgun primary for the gunner. the gunners secondaries are for when an enemy gets too close before he can rev his minigun and for when an enemy is too far to reasonably shoot with his primary, that is why this is a primary, it fits his style. i'll run you wonderful danish kings and queens.
the automatic shotgun should be modeled after the Tavor TS12, an israili shotgun with a quick-swap mag. the magazine is actually 3 magazines, it just turns to allow you to quickly get back to shooting in a combat situation. it is also fairly futuristic looking already so there wouldn't need to be much done to make it fit the DRG style.
i'm thinking that the reload should be quick, only taking half a second due to the fact that its range is low and so its accuracy while its damage is high. i feel like it should also have 2 animations for reloading, one where the gunner just turns the mag and the other where he straight up replaces it. i would also say that it should fire the same speed as the default engie shotgun and should have some minor armor break like the rest of his weapons. one more think i'm thinking is that it should have an upgrade that makes it shoot slugs in place of pellets, making it more accurate and do more damage and if that is to much for a normal upgrade, just make it an overclock and put incindeary rounds in its place because we're already playing as warcriminals so lets go farther.
Since the shield corestone cheese is removed, please add a timer to the core stone event, I can see that event can be too hard that it can end runs hard

Salvage Operation Addition Idea: the concept is that it becomes random, for example, instead of the usual, you retrieve Doretta's head and fuel tanks, repair Bosco units, retrieve Bet-C's.
A victory pose where minerals rain down on the dwarf, it starts out triumphant but as the minerals actually start falling the dwarf reacts in pain, because chunks of gold falling on your head would be really painful

Allow more urgent laser pointer voice lines to interrupt flavor voice lines, just in case you miss that bulk detonator the first time, but still want to urgently point it out to your team audibly.
Allow dwarves to high five by facing eachother while both dwarves involved are cheering. The sound of which gets louder the faster both parties happen to be moving, and moving fast enough will play an extra “hand hurt” voice line or two from either or both dwarves.
Make it so dwarves can ping themselves by shouting, along with some voice lines for certain predicaments, like scout being stuck on the ceiling with the grappling hook, being low on health/ammo, being full of minerals, or carrying heavy objects

Add Chroma Studio support for color changing and reactive keyboards. Make a custom DRG profile that does things like turn the keyboard red when your health is low, make the color white move across the keyboard during blizzards, light up the reload key when you need to reload, turn off the grenade key when you have no grenades to throw, etc.
Or just have a little of everything from old seasons as leftovers lying around. Some sample containers and old rival tech. Probably more on the top of the space rig and the new stuff is where it always is. Could even have some small boxes of holiday event decorations sitting around or something. It would just make the space rig feel more like home.

I don't like this change, mostly because it kinda makes the game inconsistent with how such HP bar encounters work.
why should Bet-C be vulnerable to damage before the parasites' HP bars appear, but the opposite apply to the corestone? before it felt intuitive AND fun to deal a lot of damage on the first phase and get a head start; it was harmless
in any case, if this IS to stay, consider conveying that the corestone is invincible in the boss intro better. Maybe with some kind of effect around it (purple aggressive lightning zapping around it maybe?)
Why not add a Radioactive Bulk Detonator to The Radioactive Exclusion Zone, being basically the Glyphid equivalent to the Fat Boy Overclock? I think its main gimmick should be dealing less direct damage (though some Fire and Heat damage should be converted to Radiation damage) but being damaging (like a Fat Boy Overclock) even if you just stand near it (about the same range as the Unknown Horror's "Indicator")? Additionally, I think that, aside from the main explosion leaving behind an enormous Radiation cloud, the "Cluster Orbs" that it releases should leave radioactive clouds too.
A crate during a mission that gives when opened, night vision googles or a beer that gives you night vision. This should be a rare chance to spawn, about as rare if not more ran than the Jet Boots crate.
since today players are no longer can clear Core Stone Event with properly placed gunner's shield. reason why people used this, apparently, bug, is simple - event is way overtuned: enemies are FAST, can jump big distance, leave fast damaging long lasting goop on the floor upon death, EAT bullets like grunt guards while dealing slasher lvl of damage. If the cave where Core Stone spawned is small - u can't consistently clear the event on Haz4 or higher. Cryo driller can do so much here, same as engie's lure grenades.
Suggestion: 1. limit the aggro range of enemies, so if you feel like u are losing - running away is an option; 2. slow down the speed of enemy spawns and their armor/health; 3. maybe make it 2-phase instead of 3? idk, just, tune it down. Because this is 2nd "infinite time" encounter, simular to Korlok Weed. But - Korlok is stationary, u run away - it loses aggro, it can essentially be ignored even when aggroed through the entire mission. Core Stone? none of the above. If u opened it - u either lose, or destroy it.
The ability to spend more nitra or perhaps something like a rare 'nitra chunk' on better supply drops
Maybe one would just fill you up 100% instead of 50% so you can restock quicker than getting 2

There are a decent few items within the game that make fun cave encounters that could totally be part of an expensive resupply, like jet boots, or a Bet-c (could even do a mini bet-c if thats too powerful), or perhaps one that allows you to overfill your ammo to like 125% capacity or something
new mineral: boomstone
“This peculiar mineral has the strange property of being able to easily be converted into many types of materials used for ammunition, even down in hoxxes, but not at a great efficiency. Use the company provided pocket forge™ to shape them into the ammunition of your choosing.”
A small orange crystal akin to, but slightly less common than red sugar. Mining it grants a small portion of ammo for your currently selected weapon. For weapons with a particularly small margin for max ammo, like the shield generator or the satchel charge, it instead fills up a meter above the ammo count, granting you one more ammo once it fills up.
Originally I was gonna post a huge essay on how to rework all of the engi primaries, but I’ll cut it down to just my thoughts on how to buff them. In short, all of his guns are boring and need reworks in my opinion. I’d be happy to discuss any of these btw

The warthog is the most boring, and the most viable for point and shooty builds. I think giving it (or at least it’s overclocks) unique buffs or effects like incendiary shells or toxic gas slugs would make it a much more unique gun which isn’t just point and shooty.
Stubby
The stubby has bad sound design and a weak effect. I think changing the energy gun sound to a loud, crackling gunshot would make it sound so much more like an energy smg and much less than a peashooter that fires batteries. Also a buff to the damage of the electricity and a visual change to the electricity would be good.
LOK
Everyone knows what’s wrong with the lok. It’s stuck with two stupidly strong overclocks and it makes it impossible to use any others because the gun is just bad without them. I think giving it more ammo and reworking explosive chem rounds and executioner would be the way to go to allow more build freedom, because I love the lok and it just plain sucks ass
New beer: Korlok lager. You start uncontrollably sneezing out Korlok sprout projectiles for a few seconds. Anyone that gets hit by one will trigger friendly fire voicelines.

Lethal Difficulty "Modifiers" for the other difficulties. I get they exist for those people who aren't satisfied with how hard Lethal is and want to make it even harder, but I feel like if the other difficulties could tweak things like "More Enemies" and "Player Vulnerability" it'd make it easier for EVERYONE to find that perfect balance for themselves and/or their friend group. For people who want easy enemies but lots of them, or people who think Hard is too easy but lethal is too much.

I know it’s been said many many times but I really want more arcade games or things to do in the space rig. And depending on what it is we could see them in missions like the jetty boot game. Maybe a game like wack-a-mole but with glyphids and you use your pickaxe as the hammer. Or a galaga style game. There’s so many options that could be super cool.
give the gunner a fully automatic pistol as a secondary or an overclock that makes the BRT7 into a fully automatic pistol. i though out both and i'll tell you both of them.

to sum it up, you just throw away one of the SMG's and then give the one that remains a buff to all stats by a factor of 2%-10% and a different crosshair while also removing half the magazine capacity and a bit of fire rate, my suggestion for that being a fourth of it.
and yes, the name is a slight joke about the remaining zhukov being "the chosen one" because it wasn't thrown away.

i'll sum it up quickly so that we can all get on with our lives.
it is a heavy weapon with a 5 round magazine, these rounds are tungsten rods with explosives at the very back which are timed, to go of half a second after making impact. it takes 2.5 seconds to reload and has a slow fire rate, it can also penetrate through grunts and break armor off a praetorian. it deals massive damage with a single rod and can stun enemies with the explosion. it has 50 reserve ammo and it can pierce through small terrain. it also can be overclocked to have the explosive be replaced by a pheromone that when injected into a living enemy, will cause the enemy to see the dwarves as friends and other enemies as its own enemies, bosses and oppressers being excluded from the effects of the overclock.
and yes, i know that some people aren't going to agree with this idea because they think it just copies things that are in the game. it doesn't, it is just heavily inspired by them. i just really like futuristic versions of siege weapons from way back when knights were still on horse back. and yes, i do understand that this likely won't be added, but its worth a shot to at least put it out there to be used if GSG finds it worthy of using and making a model for.

Q'ronar Bouncer: Smaller than your average adolecent q'ronar, while still having slightly stronger armor and health. They spawn in small swarms, that bounce along cave walls, occasionally creating an electric charge between each other as they bounce, causing a dangerous beam to connect from one another. I dont have too much more on the idea.

i'll just go in depth here because i feel like i need to do so just in case of a misunderstanding.
for the glowing skins, i mean making it so that we can buy some skin colors that make our dwarf literally glow with the color of that skin, I.E. buying a red skin and having our dwarf glow red even if our armor color is green, or having our dwarf glow white even if we wear all black armor, you get the idea.
for the full armor customization, i mean color customization and pattern. our dwarves already have fully distinct armor shapes and weapons so i don't think having a red gunner or a purple driller would be that bad. and no, i'm not saying let us play MS paint on scouts flat ass, i'm saying let us color different parts of our armor individually with whatever color we want from one pallet. it wouldn't even make the armor colors we unlock into a redundancy because a lot of people actually prefer presets over full customization, me included. and the patterns would just be the ones we have in game now and a few we don't have yet, we could even unlock them in the passes, i wouldn't mind a plague heart or corestone pattern on any of my stuff, i would actually love them very much.
so i hope you wonderful people liked this idea, i know i loved making it, i hope it gets added and that we're able to customize our armor however we wish in the future. rock and stone lads!

Wave adjustment for drillevator missions on solo. The missions are prerfectly fine in coop, however, what sometimes happens in solo is that all clawtracks decide to break at the same time, and the game just throws wave after wave at you. You can't proceed because you need to fix everything, but you can't fix anything because you have to kill bugs, which just makes it frustrating with no real counterplay, since you cannot even AoE the bugs down, due to them being in waves.

We NEED more ways to piss off mission control.
How do you like the idea of adding limb tearing to dwarves? A separate complexity could be created for this. This innovation will look like this: if we are beaten by a beetle, then our heart will be removed (depending on where the beetle bit us), and we will die instantly. When another player resurrects us by pouring a mysterious liquid from a flask, our arms is restored (direct animation of arm or leg regrowth). This feature can be disabled in the settings. When a dwarf is hit by a glyphid Praetorian, the dwarf's arm comes off, let's look at this case on Gunner. A Gunner runs with a machine gun, a glyphid Praetorian attacks him, bites off his arm, now the Gunner is without a hand, now he will carry his machine gun in one hand, this imposes a 30% slowdown on the dwarf and increases the spread of the machine gun by 50%. Then, at the second bite, the leg will come off, + 40% deceleration, at the third bite, the dwarf dies. When he is poured with a mysterious liquid from a flask, he has a slow animation of the appearance of a hand, from a small hand to a full-fledged hand, the same with a leg.
New mactera type enemy which is fast and has unpredictable flight pattern. It stirs up sand, ash, snow, etc. from the cave floor obstructing your vision.

how about a way to unequip a weapon of our choosing and just use a different one that is a blanket for all classes?
just hear me out, i think that giving the classes the ability to unequip one weapon and have it replaced by stones or a sling would be awesome as hell. just think about it for a second, you get company issued equipment but your dwarf also has a sling just in case. it regenerates ammo, does high damage, and is accurate, but it also has only one shot and it needs to be charged to full before it can be used. i really like this idea because it offers alternatives for every class early on and they aren't overpowered, they're just alternatives that you can have right off the bat if you would rather not have a full auto weapon or a shotgun or what have you.
What if for Deep Scan, we had the Blue Molly, and the Blue Molly had some jets or some shit.
During the ride down, she'd float slowly down.
On the way back up, she'd use her jets.
I think it'd be fun if in deep dive missions, every failure of the mission will leave the dwarfs body or belongings on next attempts. Maybe it can also be interacted to make it more interesting

(Maybe after a short delay, and with the same global timer till locks decay.)

Hey there, I had an idea to add poker against other players and/or blackjack against the robot dealer to the space rig, so players can play while waiting for friends or while they are taking a break from mining.
Maybe there could even be an achievement for playing poker while drunk 😄
Add an active perk that heals you,like maybe taking a sip of the purple liquid from the revive can.

I always liked this simple idea of giving boomstick a option to have bigger mag size, so self defense it gives becomes more sustained
It could be clean, but I think boomstick needs more balanced OCs (it has only one - shaped shells), so I gave it (imo) small drawback of bigger recoil, so user has to put a little bit of work to hit those consecutive shoots
I have to say, the requirements to complete even one seasonal pass is far to grindy. To put things into perspective, You get around 900-1250 pp per mission and each level requires 5000 pp. There are 100 levels in the pass, and so on average, to complete just the 100 levels, you need to fully complete (as in not fail) around 400 missions. Assuming that you also do the season challenges, which give around a level a day, the total amount of missions needed will be smaller, but the amount required is still around 300 completed missions. The kicker is that even if you get all scrip bonuses from events and the pass combined, you will only have about 75 scrip in total, while to complete the cosmetic tree, you need 80-90 scrip depending on the season. This means at minimum, you will need to spend another 10-15 days completing the one scrip you can get each day from the season challenges. My suggestion for future seasons is a shorter cooldown on seasonal missions, more average pp per successful mission, and being able to get all the scrip necessary to complete the cosmetic tree from maxing out the battle pass and the event bonuses, with the season challenges being a way to get ahead in the cosmetic tree.
I'm thinking it would be really nice to see equipment paintjobs in the future- sorry if this has been suggested, idk where or how to check 🤷

Mactera Mosquitos. Small mactera that act similar to shredders but instead of attacking multiple times they instead stick into the dwarf and slowly begin draining health. Hold a button or maybe just pickaxe to remove them. Their corpses could also maybe give health back if they suck enough blood

please make sure that all kinetic weapons and their frameworks make sense from now on. i had to have somebody make a mod to align the mags on the scout's Zhukov Nuk-17s and the weapons that don't even have a trigger of some kind really bothers the fuck out of me to the point that i can't use any framework that doesn't have a trigger or a button at least to fire the gun i'm using at the time, honestly, i've only ever had the trigger/button problem with the heavy weapons and fuck, its hard to use any of them without a framework. and holestly, i'm confused about why every other weapon was spared, maybe because the zhukovs had their mags unaligned with the ejection ports, i don't fuckin know. but please make sure that from now on the guns make some sense, i can't stand it when they don't and sorry for the rant.

sorry, but micro conductor ADD-ON still meh for me, it struggle a loot with aerial enemies, well after i got EM discharge i wont use turret arc ever again... i think the platform electricity is good but, what if every electrified enemy could serve as a node like when you shoot an enemy with scout bow the enemy becomes a electric node... i would love if the arc range get reduced for 10m but every electrified enemy create an arc between the electrified turret and the enemy... this may sound too OP since one electrified enemy arc would electrify other enemies making them an arc too... but for that what if every turret had an enemy arc maximum like 5 arcs(like the inferno tower multiple option from the game clash of clans), and the arc will prioritize the enemy that i shoot, if i shoot another enemy but the 5 arcs are already in use, the arc will swamp to the last shooted enemy... and also remove the ammo penalty, i mean turret EM discharge still soo good and has no ammo penalty... at last with these buffs i think the platform would not be necessary + the repellent mod is bad with the platforms. also micro conductor ADD-ON electricity from both, ARC and platform, can't damage the rival caretaker nor the rival robotic appendage while EM discharge can
We need to be able to KICK THE M.U.L.E.
If the M.U.L.E is going to follow us willy-nilly without a command, block the drillers pathway and just be in the way during stressing situations, there should be a way to KICK THE M.U.L.E out of the way. Tapping E three times perhaps. It should make the mule fly five meters in the direction it is kicked, and then roll a few meters more.
I've had it with Molly! If corporate won't give us better gear, we should at least be able to respond with fierce violence!

So this is gonna sound weird until I phrase it just right, I think that it would be really cool to give the bullet based guns more elements but by sacrificing something or a by a weird mechanic.
Part 1: giving bullets more elements (partially inspired by borderlands)
Like for example, scouts basic AR could have an upgrade that key his bullets copy nearby elements. Like cryogenic bullets if he’s recently affected by a Cryo affect. Like being affected Drillers cryogun, either by being near it with that one upgrade or by taking X amount of the freezing debuff, not all the way but like 1/4 to get the minimum amount of Cryo. Or if scout is affected by his own Cryo ‘nade or near its explosion radius, same thing. You can keep doing this for literally every other debuff in the game.
Let the thunderhead apply effects and debuffs on enemy kills. So if the thunderhead is dealing fire damage or a burning status effect, that enemy will have leave the ground burning. Similar to how the meteorites leave the ground magma hot and deal damage to you, but in this case temporarily. Poison can leave a poison cloud behind, Cryo can freeze nearby bugs or something, shock could hit multiple enemies, pheromones could make the bugs in the blast radius start fighting each other, fear could make them run from each other (which would be fun to see) and so on. I think this would be pretty cool to add a bit more depth to the thunderhead, or other bullet weapons.
Part 2: having elements reflect off each other (partially inspired by spellbreak, rip was a cool game)
So this might make more sense then the last idea and hopefully easier to explain. Ex-Spellbreak players will know what I’m talking about. If two or more elements or status effects are applied or occupy the same space, a new effect happens.

weapon sound effects change based on what overclock you have equipped (for example, with no overclocks the autocannon would have its current - default sound but if youd equip mortar rounds the firing sound would sound like a "thunk" or "thump" [only would work on certain ocs of course])
Add like a full pickaxe set chooser in the pickaxe customizer, just like when you get a full pickaxe set it's added to that tab, or like highlight parts that are in the same set as the last part you chose

Weapon Bay

Left, Right, and Back would be your typical weapon slots, prefer his standard machine gun? What about something heavier like an autocannon? Or a close-range incendiary laser beam? The choice is yours, my friend.
Utility slot would be used for less essential, sometimes just plain fun things, like a higher lumen light, or dwarf-lifting grabby arms, or a beer crafting station.
Just kinda of a change to a couple of the voice lines, specifically ones where the dwarfs refer to them selves as human. Why would any respectable dwarf call themselves a leaf loving human.
Example: when a dwarf hacks a patrol bot they tell "IM HACKERMAN" when it really should be "IM HACKER DWARF"

Located in the upper Reaches of Hoxxes, a dark blue and black cave, with the occasional hint of green lights who disappear upon approaching, not unlike crystal cave but way more gloomy and gothic, consisting of high open rooms with clouds of rolling thunder and the mandatory lightning.
Spires of rock, eroded by long dead winds, pierce the landscape to the heavens, sorrounded they are by fossilized bones of probably giant Creatures out of some primordial ocean.
The wandering Clouds cover the sight of Dorfs and Bugs to the far away ceiling, if it exists at all, while the Bugs and Dorfs draw the occasional lightning bolt for area of effect damage. The Bugs sneak through the Bones, but there is nowhere to hide when the bolts strike, except from getting in areas of clear sky, always being on the move seems the name of the game, as only the Allmighty, Mission Control in the heavens, seems to have some temporary weather control, to keep some uplink-uplinks, sabotage-actions and black boxes defended.
Rumors has it that wearing a cylinder and monocle seems to propagate to avoid that fate, but Carls kidney be blessed, no bug has yet seen sporting such attire.
We need mechanics that let us carry more beer, SO TWO BEERS! And a portable robot that serves free beer during missions.

so in summery:

(Balanced or Unstable. Im leaning Towards unstable, but there are unstable overclocks that are more like safe overclocks while still changing the weapons functionality):

Instead of shooting the beam continuously, you fire semi-automatic bursts of energy that take 10 ammo each. Individual shots generate head much faster if the colette is fired too rapidly (15% Heat gen per shot)
The weapons functionality has been tweeked, causing it to only be able to project shots up to 15 meters
Scorching tide, salvo module and overdrive booster are all clean OCs in practice since their "downsides" only effect you while using the alternative firing mode they grant
Salvo module can simply be changed to a clean, there's nothing wrong with a clean OC that has a unique function (i.e. hoverclock and special powder) and this also gives the Hurricane an even OC distribution
Scorching tide can have a -15% movement speed while using which will replace the slowdown of charging a scorching tide (maybe also reduce its activation cost)
Overdrive booster can use either of these two solutions (bonus damage while stationary as a clean OC, or remove the toggle and reduce the movement penalty to 50% similar to gas recycling)

the sludge pumps trophy hunter skin has a claw on it, i have an idea for a new enemy because of that.
i'm thinking that it should be a glyphid centaur type of thing but instead of being a horse man, its a sort of cross between a spider and a core spawn. the corphid has claws that can stun you, allowing it and the other enemies to attack you. it would also have an attack to shoot burning webs and to jump at you. it would have a rare chance to spawn, i'm thinking 1/50 core stone activations where instead of summoning a ton of CS and rifts, its just one massive rift above the stone where the boss comes out of and falls onto the crystal, keeping it from harm. i think that it should also have an attack that summons 3 corespawn, i'm thinking that the attack should have it scream at the player and have the 3 enemies come crawling out of the rift and start attcking the player(s).

Making the Dwarf kick Swarmers on normal melee attack
A new enemy that is basically a landmine or a venus fly trap that catches you and doesnt let you go until someone else, or bosco, shoots it. This would basically be the floor version of the cave leeches that you would have to step on to activate
I like the idea! If I may develop it a bit: the Venus Fly Trap is a single plant with a central flowering stem and a bunch of "leafs" on the sides which do the catching. The leafs entice flies and other insects with sugary excretions and spring closed if certain triggers are activated, but do take a few seconds to do so. With that in mind:
In Hoxxes, VFTs ("Hoxess' maggot/glyphid traps"?) these plants should be rather visible instead of difficult to spot; each leaf should be large, perhaps with a piece of red sugar(*) in its middle (to entice its prey), and catch its prey if it walks over it or stops on top of it, OR miss it if the prey passes over it while sprinting. The leaf should be be large and strong enough to catch a native creature.
There could be two varieties: "small" flytraps should be able to catch maggots or lootbugs(*), and "large" flytraps should be able to catch glyphid grunts or dwarves (**) .
(*) Perhaps small flytraps could sometimes have a trapped lootbug instead of a piece of red sugar. Ax the leaf open to free the lootbug and kill it as well pet it.
(**) And perhaps every now and then, there could be a piece of lost gear on a leaf, indicating that... ||the plant got lucky with a dwarf.||
The VFTs should be killable (I imagine that by shooting at or burning the central flowering stem). A smart dwarf could also use it as a defense barrier during an glyphid grunt attack wave: stand right behind a large one while they come at you and let the plant do half the work. (***)
ALSO: the leaf could also be falsely triggered into closing by picking it with one's axe.
ALSO ALSO: (***) Does that have the potential for a Steam achievement ("Feed a trap."), if all the leafs should end with a caught grunt?

I don't know why but i keep dreaming about mining and suddently spaceships crash land from above. So it gives me the idea of:
- Rescue and salvage the cargo ship
- Survive glyphids hordes
- Survive against the alien menace that caused the fall of the spaceship in Hoxxes
- Survive against the robots who protect the spaceship cargo

The memorial hall statues just being the default loadouts always seemed kinda lame to me, it’d be cool if they were made more unique, as if these are statues were of the first dwarves to land on hoxxes

An upgrade for the pickaxe, since we don’t have many, and it’s one that a few of my friends have tossed around that I think is a good idea.
Reduced/Cancelled fall damage upon landing a power attack and killing an enemy while in the air, this idea is mostly for scouts and rocket jump engineers so they can live out their soldier tf2 dreams.
pickaxe upgrade idea, a tier 4 perk that lets you change which type of elemental damage your pick attacks do. between fire, ice and electric damage? would be useful for elemental based builds.

A larger, evolved form of the more common Glyphid Guards. its massive, developed forearms have developed interesting biological defenses. Combining specialised bodily fluids and biological magnetism it can somehow generate a 360* jelly ‘forcefield’ from its arms, protecting its kin from oncoming kinetic fire. Leaving only its own arms exposed.
Combat Tips
As it generates the forcefield from its limbs, it can’t protect its own forearms. Aim for them to disable this ability.
Be careful of your own bullets! The jelly shield can bounce kinetic fire back at the attacking dwarf.
Active Perk hoverboot rework idea: make hoverboots into a small vertical dash upward.
Basically, the perk would function as is now, but while they are active, you can press the button(preferably space) again to activate “boosters” that will shoot you slightly upward and then deactivate. Nothing crazy in terms of extra height, but maybe just enough to get up a small cliff u would normally need to dig to make yourself steps through, or escape a pack of glyphids down a hole your cornered in. That way, the perk will remain good for new players to avoid fall damage, AND be good for more experienced players as a pseudo-double jump with a long cool down. I know I would definitely take it more as a gunner main.
Current Berzerker is just dogshit thanks to a 4 minute cd for a 10 second effect, so here's a reworked version that can hopefully make some difference to the mid perk roster
Active effect: changed cd to 2:30 minutes (because 4 minutes sucks)
Passive effect:
Removes move & attack speed penalty on enemy hit with normal pick attack
Any instance of melee dmg reduces cd by 2 seconds. (swarmer/grunt/praet, oppressor & big HVT [I.E Warden] enemy)kills reduce cd by (1/3/10) second(s). Multiple hits from any radial melee attack (I.E Power Attacks) count as individual procs of the on hit cd reduce.

New enemy Idea: An aggressive version of mactera where they drop heavy scale flechettes. They will dive in and do a short charge attack above the dwarves, and if unchecked will release projectiles that deal piercing damage from above. Imagine smaller stalactite projectiles.
A small thing to ask for, yet it would be such a helpful improvement:
Why keep the loadout slots at 6 (A,B,C,D,E,F)? There is a lot of space up there, above the equipment terminal HUD.
Many dwarves would appreciate the option to create 12, 18, 24, or even more presets.
It could be made optional, maybe a toggle thing in the options, for those who are content with just 6, or there could be an assignment for every additional 6 presets (maybe even for every dwarf separately).
Would it be a good idea to add an additional command for the laser pointer, like pressing c while it's out makes a beacon for the mule. I know there's Bosco as well, but there could be more potential, or it should stay the same. It could prevent molly deaths!
Make It to where when you ping another player, it gives them a little notification that you pinged them. Like bottom corner of your screen stuff nothing that can be too annoying
For the flares we can add an category where, if it land on one specific spot it will stick there. Like the scout's flare thrower, but less dimmed and takes more time to load another batch.

Yeah, just like in Doom Eternal. This would be effective but you need to have the accuracy to hit and not take damage, especially during swarm.

Since overclocks are never going to be on movement and support tools, i suggest these little things. They provide small buffs that give power to your other tools and teammates, rather than buffing or altering themselves significantly. An example of a charm for scout’s grappling hook would be to “buff the fire rate of your other weapons while airborne after grappling.”
Some things im unsure about is to let either each weapon have 3, or to make it so no given build can have more than 3, and if they could have multiple, if duplicate charms could be equipped as well. Im also unsure if the armor should be able to have any.
Not sure if this is even a good idea.

Can we get more things to do during missions. Like I get we have the secret secondary thing but for me the best type of missions are when you get secret secondary so you have 3 mission assignments to complete and you also have to cleanse a contagion spike. And also get a season event plus a machine event. And to top it off, a cargo crate. Having a ton of stuff to do is really fun imo. Would be nice to have maybe two primary objectives or just something to have a lot to do in a mission. And I know deep dives are 6 mission assignments but it doesn’t feel the same since it’s technically 3 different missions stringed together.

I dreamed last night, that DRG got more beer ingredients. One was a white tulip like flower that in my dreams was listed as "Ramone" for some reason.
On the wardrobe, add a checkbox that turns on all the descriptions for each item, instead of having to hover over them one at a time. This would be particularly useful when doing new themed outfits for all four classes at once. Something like this quick mock-up (with the legends on both sides, of course):

I know that Devs said they add new voicelines whenever they're appropriate, but I would love it if there were more dialogs that randomly play at the beginning of (almost) every mission. They're always between Scout and Driller, and I'd personally drink every pint of Leaf Lover's Special on the rig to hear the Dwarves' personalities shine through more
Equipment terminal annoyance: the "Loadout / Click to select icon" hovering message covers partly the perks and modifications for the primary weapon, making loadout comparisons difficult (same with the copy & paste hover). If the A..F loadouts were more to the right, this wouldn't be a problem (at most, it'd cover part of the dwarf's outfit). See the third screenshot for a quick mockup of how it could look.
Keyboard shortcuts on the terminals: on the character selection, wardrobe, equipment and pickaxe terminals, the keys A and D (also Q and E) cycle through the character classes, but there's no key assignment that allows to cycle through the A..F loadouts, requiring the usage of the mouse. Perhaps S and W could cycle through them (this would apply to the drone modification terminal as well, and also to the shop terminal, where A and D cycle through the slots, while Q and E and do so on the classes).
Note that being able to cycle through the loadouts with the keyboard would also wade around the hovering messages annoyance described in my previous suggestion.

That and been playing a bit solo recently but can we get some molly upgrades for the mule as well? Be nice to have her move faster or give our a shockwave or heck, have a little turret attachment. Grappling hook idea: if it grabs a loose entity such as minerals on the ground, flying enemies, or heavy objects. It pulls it towards the scout.
So this was an idea that one of my friends had in a dream that I actually think is a really cool concept.
So it was essentially a cave leech dreadnaught. It had a design similar to the hiveguard, however it had 2 cave leech looking tentacles that extended out its sides that would grab any dwarf that got too close.
So think cave leech mixed with dreadnaught mixed with nemesis.
I would like to see like a monthly mission that centers around killing full-grown dreadnaughts and has large payouts e.g. 3 cosmetic cores, an overclock core, and 1 blank core

How does R&D do it? Your guess is as good as mine. They added a mechanism to the inside of your gun which lets you store bullets to be rapidly fired out. Of course, it essentially takes up the space of an extra ammo drum, so the gun might be a bit clunkier than you're used to.
Holding down the fire button stores up to 250 ammo worth of bullets to be rapidly fired out at 2.5x normal firing speed. Charging up is affected by all the same things as Spinning up your gun.

Over clocks for each dwarves mode of transport, as in the platforms, ziplines, grappling hook, and tunnel driller. Extra ammo/fuel, making platforms glow, increased range for zipline/grapple.
The shard diffractor should use a heat system rather than a clip because in practice, it already does. The "clip" isn't reloaded, it refills automatically after a short delay
Devs, could we have some sort of hybrid-mele weapon, maybe a gun with a bayonet attached to the gun? Just a thought.

new event: the Macro Manual Machine Gun (M.M.M.G.)
“This old piece of tech, known as as the M.M.M.G, or ‘triple-M-G’ for short, was an old prototype for a more permanent operation. Unfortunately, the loud noise each shot made and the overall cost of each bullet made it so it’s design never got automated. The average mineral content and size of each round means you can probably find cases of rounds in the stomachs of praetorians, which will most likely come to you in mass once you fore the first round. Take them out, management will thank you.”
The Triple-M-G is a stationary manual turret gun, which fires tank shells at a rapid pace, capable pf decimating high-health and heavily armored targets. It has 2 points of interaction, the crank on the side, and the main seat. Once you throw an ammo box at it, which sometimes drops from praetorians during the event, cranking the crank will feed ammo into the magazine. The dwarf in the main seat will have control over aiming and firing the mechanism, but will need some ammo in the magazine to fire it.
To start the event, you need to crank the rusty crank to put the 1 remaining shell into the magazine, which removes the rust in the process. then, you need to fire said shell. During the event, praetorians and oppressors will swarm the weapon and the dwarves. To win, you need to kill a number of praetorians and oppressors before time runs out.
This might be better suited for mods but,
How about heat based weapons show a "fake cartrige" in the UI with the equivalent amount of bullets before overheat
For example if a gun takes 20 bullet to overheat it will show 20 bullet in the UI "cartrige" which will recharge while not firing
Whenever the dwarves are fighting bugs while the Drillevator is digging towards the geode, they should say some voice lines regarding the shower of glyphid bits falling on them.

Well due to complains, the R&D team have carefully installed special charges inside the back of shells that when a great force is applied to the tip of the shell, they will eject high velocity shrapnel around the shell. Though the tips themselves are now very dull, awkwardly shaped and don’t contain a charge themselves and need to be fired carefully and slower to avoid misfiring.
shells that impact a solid surface now create a large blast of 15 shrapnel pieces in a ring around the impact that does high damage (x3 direct damage for each shrapnel peice)
direct hits deal very little damage (x0.33) and don’t explode

Probably been suggested before but selectable voice lines would be great, that automatically translate into whichever language your teammate is playing in. Something as simple as "I'm calling a drop pod" or "is there any event?" Would be great.

I have 2 suggestions to make. My first suggestion is that eyewear and headwear should be 2 different things imo, it could allow for some really creative loadouts. My other suggestion is the heavy duty mining helmet should have 3 variants, one with just the helmet, one with just the goggles and of course one with both.

Anytime 2 or more dwarves are rock and stone’ing, Mission Control has a chance, much like when gold or mushrooms are pinged, to say a voice line. He’d either join in with the dwarves or have some voice lines about how he’s glad that we’re still in good spirits, but to focus on the mission. A lot less harsh than when we ping mushrooms.

As someone who loves this game and read every bestiary entry for every drop of information, I think it would be cool if we got entries as to what everything is used for.
For example the secondaries, like ebonuts, apoca blooms, boolo caps, etc, just because I want to know what they’re about, same with the primary objectives.

An option to put the flashlight in "extra bright" mode, but only after calling the drop pod.
Rationale: during extraction, one has to walk/run back to the drop pod in the darkness, following the arrow markers the M.U.L.E. leaves behind (and perhaps depleted flares serving as extra markers). Active flares are of limited use, as one throws each forward but quickly leaves them behind. This is especially bad if one loses the path and needs to find it again, or one is forced to take another route, because Molly went through an impossible to follow path.
Given the above, and knowing that the drop pod will leave with or without you in five minutes, there is no point in "conserving battery" or whatever powers the flashlight for more time than those five minutes, and would therefore be reasonable to allow the flashlight, if needed, to pull out all punches, to better light the way back.
Perhaps, for dramatic effect, the "extra bright mode" could be automatically shut down back to normal during the last 15-30 seconds of the extraction timer. Another possibility is to set a hard limit of, say, three minutes of extra brightness, after which the flashlight makes a beep and goes back to the normal brightness. This lapse could also be hazard level dependent (for example: four minutes for levels 1 and 2, three for level 3, two for level 4 and just one measly minute for level 5).
DRG being DRG, the company would surely bill the user for the "spurious use of electrical energy" and take some credits off the loot in the mission end screen. This would serve as a deterrent for the unnecessary activation of this extra brightness mode.
When you press "ESC" while you're in any terminal, it exits that terminal. But in "Pickaxe Customization" terminal it opens up the game menu then you need to hit "ESC" again to exit that as well. Just wanted to point out the inconsistency in case devs weren't aware of it.
Buff the Gk2 Burst Fire OC 
Specifically the RoF. W/ a 3 round burst at 20 RoF, and a Base RoF of 2.4, you get an effective RoF of 5.8, a RoF decrease of 2. Even considering the +2 Damage BF gives, that's still a massive ~25% decrease in DPS. Burst fire should at minimum be on the same level as the base gun, but sadly it is currently explicitly worse.

Adds new plant-based resources, such as the meat berry and sugar stalk, and also adds the mineral coal, used to make all food items.
When in the bar, a new kitchen tab, where dwarves can either try to slap together any of their resources (except creds) to find worthwhile recipes, or choose the ones they have already discovered from their recipe books. Dwarves are encouraged to share recipes.
Food items can be split into two categories, the single-servings, which are served similarly to beer, and the shareables, which is are usually large enough for the whole team to take big bite out of.
A handful of food items don’t have effects, but the ones that do usually add cosmetic modifiers for one person, or gameplay modifiers for the whole team, in the single serving size and shareable size respectively. For effects from shareables, the whole team must have a piece, then enter a mission for it to work. Such modifiers are also applied to new players, are displayed on the mission selection, and can affect the pay for completing a mission depending on if it makes things easier or harder.
in the deep scan mission you can dig all the way to the morkite geode manually and harvest the seeds before starting the drillevator, but you cant call the drop pod in to finish the mission. i feel like it should either not let you mine through the compacted stone or let you call in the drop pod after depositing the 7 morkite seeds.
i was expecting to be stopped when i tried going there and just wanted to see if it let me mine through it, and then was surprised that i was able to get in the geode but confused that i couldnt call in the drop pod since the end goal of the mission was finished.

Currently, the game knows two options for sprinting: 'Hold to Sprint' (under 'Miscellaneous' in Controls settings) and Toggle Sprint. The latter works as such:
- Press [Forward]: Walk
- Press [Run]: Sprint
- Press [Run] again: Walk
In other words, pressing [Run] multiple times will disable your sprint again. Sprinting in this game is very important. Many times, however, it's difficult to tell if you're sprinting or walking - you may be jumping, falling, focusing on your friendly neighbourhood bugs, and so on. This results in me usually pressing [Run] too many times while trying to determine if I am, in fact, sprinting.
Can an extra option for sprinting be added, so that pressing [Run] will only toggle sprint on, not off? Obviously, after stopping or being slowed down, [Run] would have to be pressed again in order to sprint - I am wholly against autosprint.
This suggestion is based on this Reddit post from multiple years ago. I've checked the Dev Q&A page on the Wiki, which didn't include any similar suggestion.
hi can you guys add an opt in option in the settings menu to not show keyboard+mouse ui while in game for people who use simultaneous gamepad+mouse for controls?
this would really help with the ui trying to fight one over the other for steam gyro users
it happend regularly that I want to jump at at the same time iron will is triggering because it was a fraction of a second faster than me. So I lost this ability for the time I really would have needed it.
My suggestion would be if you down that at least 1-2 seconds or something like that have to pass before you're able to trigger iron will.

How about alternate escape sequence for salvage operations?
The scenario is as follows: The drop pod has enough fuel to return to the rig but it's badly damaged, so you need to use the uplink to call for spare part pods, haul them to the drop pod and have one dwarf repair each damaged section while the rest is defending from the endless swarm of enemies. Just need 3 parts to repair and the parts pod is bit further away from the drop pod than the fuel cell.

Mission Control should suggest but never explicitly state this individual (who is useless in a fight and in pretty much everything else) is worth rescuing because he's a relative of a higher-up in Longbeard Freight, who has promised (even) cheaper rates if the pilot is extracted from Hoxxes safe and unsound.

Make the Feedback Loop OC for the Shard Diffractor a clean overclock or rework the downside, -100 ammo on an overclock that wants you to shoot for as long as possible is completely counterintuitive.

Oppressor variants
Just take the biome dependent praet variants and make it so the oppressors also have such a concept.
the radioactive oppressor could have a giant rock of radioactive crystal on it back which would constantly damage anyone that gets close
Or the snow oppressor could smash the ground and crack it just like the how the biome usually does that on its own
I dunno these are just some ideas and would have more effect on the gameplay and make a smaller extra challenge in those biomes

- Quick strike: When activated, does a power attack that is slightly less effective, but recharges faster.
Tier 2 - Follow through: pickaxe swings pierce through enemies and armor.
Tier 3
Precision blade: more ore when mining, increased weakspot damage.
Overclocks - Shield detonation: power attacks remove all shield but releases a blast that damages enemies and deletes enemy projectiles (reflects if Parry is added).
- Bolster: -10% slower power attack recharge, power attacks temporarily increase the swing speed of self and nearby dwarfs.
- Rich recharge: -20% power attack recharge speed. Mining ore recharges power attacks.
- Fire/Ice/Electric/Toxic swing: converts a portion of damage into Fire/freeze/electric/toxins. (Clumped these together because they’re all just variants of the same thing).
Add the ability to deal damage with thrown flares/heavy objects to the strong arm perk
Throwing a flare at a screaming glyphid's mouth makes it chew on it in confusion before spitting it out.
More models for BOSCO, not enough i can find most are just color changes

I'm not a speedrunner but I definitely would love the option to use a slot and make these things take less time. Uplinks, pipelines, sentries, batteries... It just makes sense that some miners would be more mechanically inclined than others.

By upgrading a perk to his the overclock rank it would need to slots to be equiped and one at a time meaning, one active perk (overclock perk) or two passive (one normal and one overclock perk), The player would be able to decide if he wants to use the upgraded version or not.
One example would be the ULTRA STEVE:

Ok i know this is simple, but i really wish that when you are buying perk upgrades, it would show on the same screen what your current perks equipped are.
Create a Payday 2-like Space Rig upgrading mechanic that allows the seasoned players to spend their overwhelming amounts of resources and credits on decorations/customisation, as well as showing the earned achievements and challenges appear as trophies.
On April Fools the bugs and the dwarves should switch faces and voice lines. Every dwarf noise will be a random glyphid noise, like gunner could sound like a Praetorian while Driller could sound like an oppressor. Bugs will pour out of the walls screaming "MUSHROOM!" or "WERE RICH!"
Speaking of, pinging Bitter Gem could give a different variant of "We're rich!", even if something as simple as "We're SO rich!" and it could still trigger Mission Control's headache
In a update, a bug would be added : this bug have the ability to disguise as one of your teammate and will try to get close to you to deal damages and the only way to know it's one is to shoot it and look at it's blood (it is green) or just kill it. If it's your teammate : you waste bullets, you kill your teammate and there is a spy among us. It could be you, it could be me, it could even be (get's shot) what ? It was obvious he's the bug, it will change any second now, any second now, see ? Bug ! Oh wait... That's gunner.
Nobody seemed to like my last Idea so here is one more : New mission type : you are given a camera sent by capsule, your mission is to spy on the ennemis (the other technologie) get infos without being detected, this could also add a new ennemi : the ennemi's technologie camera. The ETC is placed on the roof and try to detect you, you can hack it or destroy it. Hacking it will give you the ability to know if an ennemi is comming. Back to the mission : if you are caught spying, you lose
Add a list of players who joined a lobby previously and left at the end screen both win or fail, listing everyone who joined and left either thorugh crashes, kicking or actively leaving
Balance suggestion: Remove the team/self damage from necro-thermal catalyst (t5a coilgun) (like you did with em discharge). On normal haz 5 its nothing but an annoyance, but with increased player vulnerability it becomes way too much to be worth it, you could say skill issue but its kinda hard to avoid the explosion sometimes when its the size of 3 fat boys. I dont think anyone would miss this aspect of the mod, while players like me who hate it will appreciate the change.
This isn't really a suggestion and more feedback and an observation. Thanks to the fact that DRG doesn't implement any anti-cheat or DRM the game works fantastic on Steam Deck and Linux distros using steam proton. I get more fps on linux than on Windows!
If there is any suggestion to be taken from this, adding glyphs for the Steam deck controls or even implementing the Motion controls we see on the PlayStation version of DRG to Steam would be massively awesome (or better yet, supporting Steam Controller API)
How about a gas thrower for the driller, it shout gas that your teammates can ignite by shooting the gas cloud that burns nearby ennemis. You can add some suggestions.
A Overclock tree. We have no use for our perk points anymore. Perhaps we could add something that would allow us to buy blank overclocks for a certain amount of perk points? (I know buying an overclock that you want is against the point of grinding.) Or maybe make add an ability on the market to use perk points to buy minerals. Shrugs. I just want something to spend points on.
I know this might be hard to implement but since clean overclocks are supposed to be +1 or 1.5 mods on the Tiers and unstables are full sidegrades or wacky gimmicks but what about a 'custom overclock' overclock where we can tweak only the stats of weapons?
Example: Increasing or Lower Mag size on weapons that need to be reloaded but do not have a magazine mod in the tiers such as PGL.
Example: Lowering Ammo/Fire rate for Armor Break/Blowthrough for a balanced OC.

The obvious times this would be beneficial are for On-site Refining or Salvage Op missions, but Bet-C events, abandoned resupplies, and Deep Scan Drillevator segments would all benefit as well.
Just one of those things that always felt like it would have a related perk, but just doesn't, y'know?

Infested Groves
”As part of the drilling deeper initiative, we have uncovered a new hybrid biome between the magma core layer and the azure Weald. This hybrid biome was the perfect catalyst for life, once harbouring a diverse ecosystem. In fact, it is assumed this was the original home of the glyphids before they propagated throughout Hoxxes. However, some few thousand years ago, this biome was taken over by a ravenous bacteria which consumed everything. Now, all that’s left is dormant cells and husks of the wildlife which lived there.”
The Infested Groves mainly consists of multicoloured bacteria dotting a dark greenish rock, with large growths taking the form of trees and large plates made from various strains of bacteria. Since all the minerals have been consumed by the bacteria, there are now patches of bacteria in their place. Luckily, these minerals have only been slightly digested, and you can still mine the bacteria instead to collect the ores. In game, it would be a purely visual change to the ores.
Within the infested groves are a strain of bacteria which is harmful to the dwarves. Luckily, the large amount of alcohol within your system sterilises any bacteria which enter after around 20 seconds. Being near patches of this bacteria will slowly reduce your maximum health, and it will be restored after the bacteria is gone.
The glyphids in this biome have adapted to the bacteria, and live in symbiosis. While all grunts and grunt variations have a thin coating of bacteria on them which reduces 30% of damage dealt on the first hit, they have less health overall, making weapons like the M1K and most high-range explosives less effective.
new region: eroded ruins

The cavern walls are moist, always dripping wet and covered in a strange moss/algae/seaweedlike plant. Besides the algae, many other moist and plant-like creatures now occupy this region. There are many remnants of those who occupied this region before us, but it’s mostly been reduced to smithereens. You won’t find any temples, but you will find it’s rusted mechanisms.
cave conditions:
blocky terrain: the walls of this area tend to have cubic extrusions or stairs, often much larger than what is normal.
old artifacts: there lie many traps in these caverns, mostly broken, but any one of them could have just enough left in them to spring on you. R&D are currently unable to find out how they work.
slippery: mind your step. Some rocks are slipperier than others. And when it rains, all terrain becomes slippery temporarily.
nature reclaimed: expect more stationary targets.
Lootbug Wrangler Mission type
Average mission time: 15 mins
R&D have figured out that giving lootbugs enough morkite seeds will make them spew morkite!
They have stabilized the subjects on Hoxxes IV in temporary chambers across a cave system. You must take them to the portable testing facility and "milk" them of their morkite crystals. The catch- these lootbugs weigh much more than they seem. It takes at least two dwarves to carry each box. Also, the lootbugs can die relatively easily. They drop morkite on death, but you need some of them to survive the process in order to receive the necessary amount for your quota.
Step 1: find the lootbugs and box them up
Step 2: safely bring them back to base
Step 3: harvest the crystals without the lootbugs dying (they die shortly after the mission but don't tell the dwarves that)
Step 4: Escape.

No this isn't an excuse to make its a bug thing instantly end a mission
A very simple suggestion:
A drinking horn.
We know that dwarf targeting algorithm contains the following rules:
- Kill anything with more legs than two
- Don't shoot the ones with beards
Since we already have a four-legged M.U.L.E. which breaks the first rule (don't kill it, punch the programmer instead), to completely confuse our dwarves we need a bearded bug. And, of course, a commentary on how their beard is an anti-dwarf trick.
More dreadnoughts for elimination missions please!
Just having the three make it very bland especially with the high chances of getting duplicates in the same mission
There could be a webspitter/acidspitter dreadnought, maybe a stingtail dreadnought that would grab players like the nemesis and also ram into players like a rhino or bull, or maybe even a queen where the abdomen is its own hive and it sends waves out of bugs (it could be a warden dreadnought too if that works better)
There could even be a few ideas for macteras but I'm pretty sure the dreadnoughts are exclusively glyphids
The Zhukovs need desperately some love. The OCs are way too plain except maybe for ED.
not really a gameplay suggestion but really want a report button. you dont see em that often but i've only just met a troll who kept sabotaging a mission. if this has been suggested is there any chance that it will be a feature? and if no then why? as for the penalty maybe something like a 30 minute ban and so on?
for a somewhat less design intensive set of additions, the Twins are at something of a pre-dreadnought state due to their development being split between them. Opening a cocoon and it being either a lacerator or arbalest that is now developed to the same level as the classic dreadnought, but with a differing attack pattern and appearance, would make sense
Make it to where the side missions for deep dives like the miniature oil refinery’s can be found in secret secondary misssions
Please make it so that seasonal stuff that doubles performance would give a bit of experience as well.
||As things are now the wurst mugs (same applies for other events) are useless to experienced players who have finished all seasons. This game mechanic needs to have a selfish reason (experience) alongside an altruistic one (helping others who still haven't finished the season) in order to incentivise older players to help out the team.||
i have a very specific suggestion: you know those warning beeps which notify you if you are close or far to various objectives and items? i want to change the beep sound loudness from settings menu. my reason: i listen to music while gaming and these beeps are too quite. if decrease music sound then i can't enjoy my music.

New sludge pump unstable OC: sludge sprayer
“R&D realized the sludge pump was a stupid design. Those reloading capsules use the whole thing, even to reload one shot, and it wastes so many capsules. Therefor, they have decided to remove the reload system entirely and just shove all the sludge into the weapon to begin with. Now it just sprays right out!”
you can fire continuously by holding fire, allowing you to fire a continuous stream of sludge
no reserve ammo or reloading needed, all ammo is directly fired (like cryo cannon or minigun)

An additional access point for the "Weapon Maintenance" menu somewhere around this part of the space rig would be fitting.
i feel like the warthog shogun needs a rework similar to the Deepcore Assault rifle (honestly feels more like the mods need to be re-arranged in different places, overclocks feel fine).
at the very least rework the audio for it. It sounds like a wet fart, i need so much more crisp and bass-y feedback on shooting and operating it. this alone would make the shotgun FEEL like it does more damage without having to litteraly increase the damage but as it stands it just feels held back by something waaaay to much compared to whatever traite you tried to increase no matter how you set it up
PS: Speaking of audio reworks, i'd also ask to update the Bosco rocket shot noise from the grenade launcher to the actual noise of a rocket fired from the rocket launcher pod weapon for gunner
There should be class buffs such as engi being able to repair/build stuff faster and the scout take less fall damage
when you ping rock, you should have a chance to say "Sedimentary!" like the "elementary" voiceline
Add pickaxe cosmetics that looks like a puppet, with googly eyes and pipecleaner arms that jiggle around when mining
Have zipline ammo be consumed by the length of the zipline, instead of the number of ziplines. Maybe starts with 200 meters of zipline, each zipline has to be between 5-40 meters, but allows more expression of mobility/ideas in tight spots for gunner.
