2 bugs on console I hope get fixed, this is PS5. When using mouse an keyboard cannot use keyboard to “fast travel” on zip line still have to use left control stick if I want to speed up. Also, no way to change directions on zip line when using mouse and keyboard with PS5, have to press triangle to switch directions.

yo the weirdest thing just happened, I joined a game and it spawned me in the wrong class, then i pressed escape to try to leave, and all in game inputs stopped working, the curser appeared on screen but no keys did anything, I could not move or look around, i could not click anything. like the escape menu opened up but failed to load in any ui.

I used to love playing this game, got over 750 hours logged, shame the lfg discord links no longer work. It started going bad last autumn, it's unusable now.

trying to join a party through it now does nothing at all restarted discord, closed and reopened drg, did both at once. all it does is put up a hung loading graphic on the discord window and nothing else.

Steam, btw. nmaybe it still works for the console guys. but until the steam integration gets fixed I'm out.

Had a very interesting bug today-- Loading into game with 2 other friends in private game, just before we are to land, the game kicks my friends out back to the SpaceRig, meanwhile i load in. I abort mission on the way down. Not a big deal. I reinvite people to my team, we try the mission again.

things are loading up fine until we actually start descending in the drop-pod to the mission; I lose ALL sound other than party chat. (NOT GAME CHAT) Its DEATHLY quiet, Mission Control pops up on screen, but i cant hear him, and he never leaves my viewspace.

Be me: "Okay, not a big deal, can work with this, i have friends." Start heading down, get about 2 chambers in-- crash to bluescreen OS and HARD LOCK on my Ps4 Console. I mean HARDLOCK-- so bad i had to pull the plug from my console just to get control back after 10 minutes of letting it try to do whatever it is its doing. Of course, this causes my friends to drop back to the space rig as well.

havent tried to log back in yet, but im sure i lost my progress for the day mission beforehand, worst case, i lost yesterday nights grinding as well. Just wanted to report it somewhere.

also-- TOTALLY SILENT mission should be a modifier, it was terrifying to know there were enemies, but have NO IDEA where they are, or where they were coming from.

Did you actually complete the assignment or abandon it? If the former, send your ###_Player.sav to anyone in QA.

There are multiple areas in the game that tell you that you're using a sandbox save; the banner on the left hand side of the screen during all gameplay and the bright blue "modded" indicator under the map seed in the esc menu. You may be able to convince someone in QA to convert it.

There is no such thing as reputation in this game. You're confusing your performance pass level with your player rank. Player rank increases with every three dwarf levels.

2. uninstall the game
3. delete every file related to drg. this is, delete the entire "Deep Rock Galactic" folder on their steamapps/common one
4. reinstall the game
5. copy the save files to where they were originally
6. start the game to make sure everything's alright

I play DRG through the Xbox App on PC. My specs aren't exactly the most fit for the game, but i still manage to run it with almost no serious issues. Except that sometimes the game continues to crash repeatedly everytime i boot it up. And from what i seem to understand, it happens when i try launching the game while Discord is up and running. I can start discord afterwards and the game will be fine, but to launch the game i need discord to stay closed

@fallen hill Hey there, so what was the exact reason for removing Chroma support? If people were having issues cause of their Chroma support, they could have just simply disabled it within Synapse. It doesn't make any sense to disable it when it seems a small amount of people were having issues with it...The game also had Chroma support for how many years? All while using Synapse 3...this whole thing doesn't make any sense.

if you look on Razer's website for the Chroma Workshop, it lists the games that are offically support, and then has a separate list for games that have support through other means(either a different software) Overwolf/RGB Hero. Or through a fan made software

DGC has always been on that list of offically supported, people who say its up to Razer that they have to fix it have to realize that doesn't make any sense. How can Razer put in code in a game when they don't own the game. Razer Chroma support is always up to the Developer.

Dunno if that link works, but the video is from 2018 which means they have supported for 3 years, but now there is somehow issues. It more so just sounds like they didn't wanna support it cause screw it.

If the reason why they disabled it as Mark has said before that some people with the Chroma Software were having issues with the game, they could have very simply disabled it, and their lighting would have acted as normal and would have not sync'd to the game.

Just more upsetting to see tons of games keep up with chroma support with very little sales and being very small indie titles vs a very well known and successful game & publisher, just drop it cause they didn't wanna work out the issues. It leads me to think that the time and resources for them wasn't worth satisfying a small amount of people who use it.

If it was saving, it wouldn't be resetting. There's probably something wrong with your system permissions. Locate your SaveGames folder, right click, properties, uncheck read only.

Hi. Not sure what triggered it, but I readied a deep dive at the hq screen and had a guy join me. But when we went into the drop pod to start it, the counter didnt trigger so we couldnt start. A further 2 people joined for a full team but no counter still.
It seemed the only way to fix it was to swap character from gunner to engineer and then back to being a gunner again.

PS4 issue: Not sure what it is that makes this happen, but every time I load into a solo lobby a barrel falls of its own volition into the launch tube. And I know which barrel it is, it's one of the two barrels by the tool rack with the drawers, near the M.U.L.E.s and the season terminal.

is level 2 of the "unstoppable" perk supposed provide 20% faster movement speed while carrying heavy objects? the level 3 version says it provides 15% faster movement speed while carrying heavy objects, which would make it worse than it's previous upgrade (level 3 still has the 40% slow effect resistant vs level 2's 30% for some however)

Hey, not sure if this has been reported yet but I had a pretty funky bug last night when playing with a friend.
I probably can't reproduce it due to the nature of it. We were finishing off the Lunar event and missions went quite smoothly.
After the last mission my friend gets a black loading screen for a bit longer than usual, no problem I thought, I'll forge this new beard and overclock I just got from the event.

Well as soon as I click to forge the overclock I'm greeted with my dwarf's usual quip while forging and a static view of Hoxxes' moon. At that point I can't exit this view, game is frozen. So I close it out, as does my friend since I'm host and he's still in a black screen despite me closing the game out and restarting it.

When I return my hat and overclock is still safe but the cosmetic I was forging is gone and doesn't appear in the forge or any of my dwarves' wardrobes.
Other than that, we were doing nothing else atypical of our regular daily session.

I'm calling it the lunar curse, considering the moon was the last thing I saw before it froze.

I should also add on, this was the Steam version.

Please can ANYONE help? When I open the game it resets my pc volume to 100% every time. It also does it when I tab out and back into DRG.

Hey! Sorry if someone else has asked this but it seems that I have a problem when doing deep dives. Everytime I try to do a deep dive with my friends (we are usualy 3-4 dwarves) my game kicks me out at the beginning of the second mission (it is always at the second mission).

Basically, after we are done with the first mission I'm thrown into the loading screen (with the pod drilling down the planet, as usual and the loading status of all the other players, which is to be expected) and I'm stuck there for a while. When the pod finally arrives at its destination all my crewmates can see me standing still but I'm still loading. A bit later all turns black and all I can hear is the sound of the pod still drilling down and, again, my crewmates still see me there, idling. About 3 or 4 minutes of waiting finally I'm kicked out of the session.

I would appreciate any help with this, thanks.

DRG always has been finicky with microphones, as far as I know, there isn't a definitive fix. The game is just bad at handling microphones.

Hi, I just lost a bunch of progress on ps4. I dropped from level 9 back down to 7 and my Driller went from lvl 19/20 down to 17. I also lost some cosmetic unlocks like like an Armour paint job and the secondary weapon that I unlocked is locked again. I've only been playing for a few days so still not 100% what I'm doing but it seems like I lost a couple of hours of progress when I closed the game earlier today.

Disabling "USB Device Power Control" seems to have done the trick

I was playing in the new industrial sabotage mission, and as the mission started, I had noticed that the game was lagging... Or was it... It was actually the console itself, why? Because when I was getting closer to one of the 2 stations that needs to be hacked, the game didn't crash.. not even the console.. but the console had to close the game while giving me an error that told me I was out of video memory... The same day that I started using the performance setting since I didn't even know it was there. This never happened to my console, and a light game like this, also on Performance mode... Made my console basically crash? I mean... Ok...

Just had a strange issue. Was in the Space Rig waiting for people to join a mission, when suddenly all I saw was the ceiling from a single spot within the rig, constantly spinning around and around.

I could hear my character's footsteps as I tried to run around, but the view didn't change at all. Spinning paused when I brought up the menu with [Esc], resumed when I left it.

I'd had a few people join my lobby, so I didn't want to quit (and kick them out), but after a minute or two the issue resolved itself and my view went back to normal. Weird.

Hi! I've been having problems with my laptop as of late. I used to be able to play Deep Rock Galactic just fine, but this Wednesday, it's started to suddenly crash midgame, to the point of which I can't play more than ten minutes without DRG abruptly shutting down without any kind of crash reporter. I have followed online suggestions of switching to direct x11, but it's horribly laggy on my end, with barely any frames per second. I have also lowered my resolution to low and dropped the fps to 90, but that has not worked either. Please help!

Hi. On ps4 ive been noticing a sound glitch since the luna festival ended. I'm not sure what triggers it but all sound will drop for a short while before returning. This happens in both the HQ area and in a level. Once the sound returns, it stays normal until the mission is complete. So it might be something that happens at HQ or when loading a stage?

I've used dash to stop a fall by airwalking to a ledge or something to prevent what would be hurtful vertical distance, but this was different

I've seen a few graphical glitches in my sesh today on ps4.
One is the little donation bot by the barman in HQ. Its postit notes that slowly flap up and down phase through its body.

2nd was when playing the scout. I used the grapple hook and looked around as I did it. This caused the grapple line to noodle frantically on the screen for a brief moment 😅

Do you mean the assignment? I had the same issue but then realised you have to up the challenge rating to haz 4 to do them. Its very hard. Especially if it gives you the kill dreadnoughts stage 😫

hi guys i have a question that i keep finding different answers to and i tried almost everything. I've got 99hrs on DRG and after the loading screen I just got black screen and no sound. it's been like that for awhile now and i miss playing on my computer. I have a nividia 1050 graphics card and it's up to date and idk what to do to get it to work again. I've turned off nividia's game overlay and that didn't help either.

has anyone else noticed if you're in the air and use the scout grappling hook a split second before you land, it often goes on cooldown and doesn't work? i started seeing this in the season 1 patch

Is there any tickets regarding PC shutting down instantly when the game is on? I think it's usually when loading the base.

Probably already a known issue, but game starts with open mic even though push to talk is selected. Going into settings and clicking push to talk off and on again fixes this temporarily but will switch back to open mic when a new lobby is created. Has been happening consistantly every time I play for at least the last 4 months, and happens everytime.

That's not a bug, that's normal

you have the armor equipped so the default color is the default color of the armor

Anyone knows why eversince Update 35 some users (incuding myself) have been getting sever FPS drops (from 60 to 20 in my case) whenever a wave spawns ? It never did this in U34 and before, it only started in november. My config should not be an issue as I have a 1660ti and 16GB of memory.

Hi. I considered that first but this PC has been totally stable for several years now and I play other heavy load games too without any issues. This only happens with this game. I updated my drivers and will try to test again to see if there's any changes.

I’ve explained it many times to many others. Just monitor your system temperatures and clean out the dust from your heat sinks. Computers don’t just magically shutdown for no reason. It’s almost always some sort of power or thermal protection.

I've got a bug where my player level seems stuck/not increasing. After a dig it'll show an increase in XP to level 12 yet on the top right of my screen when back at the hub, it shows level 10 on the diamond and doesn't move?

Very minor bug, because we were still able to get out.

The game stalled and pipes broke (normal gameplay) at 99%.

I camped the button and hit it as soon as I was able to.

The payload never returned to orbit, but the extraction drop pod spawned anyway.

@burnt girder What is your game driver? I have a RTX 2060 and it appears to be dying. I just tried playing Divinity II (the one I dropped $80 on for my friends) and it crashed. Then I tried Siege and Apex with the same results.

Low demanding games like Dark Souls 2 and Terraria still run fine.

And keep in mind at one point I was able to play all of these games without issue.

Got a Hiveguard that won't spawn Sentinels at half health

It's not attacking, we fought the entire 3rd dread fight and found some stuff while it was just wandering around

We're searching compressed dirts and stuff for Sentinels

It also seems to be disabling Mactera and other enemies from spawning (Mactera Swarm mutator)

I've got only verified/cosmetic mods installed

Oh wild one of us died and by the time I got to him there was a sentinel on his corpse

I've had a hiveguard which stayed invincible for a long time. It took ten minutes for it to become vulnerable.

Our Scout suspected that dying was what attracted or spawned the Sentinel somehow

Fairly common and documented bug. Whacking it in the face with melee or getting it to use its bite attack are popular workarounds.

Oh good to know! A couple of us did whack it with mele near the end maybe that's what did it.
