If you don't have Display Driver Uninstaller downloaded, you should for this and then delete your own driver then install the previous driver.

I'd say it's a bit of AMD, Windows 10 and Deep Rock that are all just not optimized correctly (yet). Hopefully devs get to it soon.

Joined a game found a terrain spawning bug. On-site refinement, 2 legnth small map where a Korlok Tyrant-weed spawned and seems to have replaced one of the well sites. Mission un-completable. The thing is pretty rare so i'm not surprised no one's found this. Attatched is map seed and following post will be zoom out of the map.

had an issue during a haz3 escort mission where doretta was getting constantly hurt, even after we got the heartstone. We dug out under her to look for a swarmer or something and there was nothing there. She would just tick for 1 damage every second or two, and it was really hard to stay alive

I was even still getting lines for "we're losing the drilldozer!" while we were extracting

Is it a bug for onsite refining missions to sometimes have either the drop pod or the refinery land on top of a morkite well, resulting in the well floating over the entry hole? Because it's happened more than once and it makes the mission a lot more tiresome than it needs to be.

In some layouts, the ommoran heartstone can grab a rock right above the drilldozer and almost instantly throw it down after forming it. unsure if this is intended, probably not. can be super devastating for a team.
In this clip you can see when both rocks are being formed and thrown. One right at the start and one right at the end of the short clip. (no gameplay mods, just my own that changes portraits)

Sorry no screenshots or anything. We just did a deep dive and only 3/4 of us got rewards (no doubling up or anything, none of us had done it yet). In between each mission the person who didn't get any rewards was taken to the mission results screen every time, instead of the usual deep dive mission screen. It just showed him all 0's for XP and gold, then all of a sudden he was dropped into the next mission with us. Only difference between him and the rest of us was while were in the space rig he bought the roughnecks DLC but didn't restart his game before we entered the deep dive. Not sure if that was the cause. He was not rewarded any gold or XP at the end, nor the overclock rewards from the deep dive missions.

Hello, I’m trying to play with a friend and we have encountered many bugs

We can’t join each other’s games but we can join public games

I have this problem where the game crashes sometimes when I am forced out of the game. Like when a zoom prompt interrupts the game window and forces my cursor into the dialog box. This wouldn't be much of a problem but it sometimes crashes when I click out of the game back to Discord, which is not fun to experience, especially one hour through a deep dive with friends.

It might be an issue with having 2 monitors as none of my friends have ever had this problem but I can't get it to crash consistently.

I also have issues where some of the missions having overlapping swarms coming in on Haz 3. (Another swarm announced before the other one is finished). I had 4 swarm warnings in a 18 minute mission.

@elder arch @woeful ledge Likely a result of your game thinking you were on last weeks deep dive. There's at least one report of this every week. Restart your game after the deep dives tick over to the new week to minimize these issues.

@odd hawk There have been other reports that your system anti-virus has probably identified and quarantined some component of DRG or steam. Also stop spamming your problem.

Recently had a bug during Escort Mission in Glacial Strata where only one fuel canister spawned. The other canister showed up at spawn when pressing control, but it wasn't actually there. Had to abort mission as we were unable to carry on. Wasn't sure where else to report bug, so here I am.

That's not a bug, Blackout Stout gives you 100% intoxication level by default. Since it decays by 1% every 24 seconds (in the Space Rig and afaik in the mission as well), you'll need 40 minutes to become fully sober in the mission.

So I finished yesterday a deep dive with a friend yesterday, but I didn't receive any loot.

Today I finished an elite deep dive and again, it didn't count somehow. I received no cores, and also no loot. In the menu it also showed me the loot, but when I went to the screen and the forge, I saw I earned nothing.

This is very frustrating and I want to know if there is a way to fix this.

Yeah. The cave leach time is terrible as it is. I almost always go down on Hazard 4s and even sometimes on hazard 3s because of his response time. There use to be a time when we could just command him to rocket our position when we got grabbed, but someone had to take that out of the game... That would at least sometimes make up for his response time, that extra bit of boom-boom damage when he arrives.

Reproduction steps:

• have a laggy connection (host or user downloading updates?)
• interact with first cannister, then quickly interact with second cannister (first not showing held in hand)
• result: one cannister is held, but both are removed.

recently had a refinery not spawn a 3rd pumpjack. it was a smaller map (fungus bogs) and all players were actively digging until hitting bedrock in all directions, including above and below. no hidden "pockets" were visible and was not able to even hear a 3rd one anywhere nearby

Not the first tome to happened, but I found myself trapper into the pipe segment connected to a pumpjack and not being able to move or escape. My friend killed me, and revived me, I tried to grapple hook out... but nothing worked.

how repellant actually works is it counts the distance that a bug has to cover over repellant as twice the distance. and if that's still faster then it will obviously just take that path.

I’m having a problem where the achievement tracker for the gold chunks, alien artifacts and bittergems are stuck at the same progress. My 500 missions tracker is going up so the tracker should be working. A friend has also reported the same issue.

If you press ESC right after being knocked down (aka trying to ragequit) the screen still goes black and you can't see anything at all unless you press ESC again, thus unpausing the solo game and closing the invisible menu.

UE4-FSD/fatal error, game will crash and close.
Potential Methods:

• Make sure graphics card and windows 10 is up to date.
• Run graphics card as admin.
• Make sure you uninstalled the DRG game completely, best if wait a few minutes (supposedly a download/update to should be available), then install the game.
• Xccelerator: I solve this UE4-FSD eror by going to AMD's website and rolling back to the pre-November 2020 version.

Yeah I had breaks in between. I promoted then i believe it asked me to again and i did, not sure if it took the credits or not. Then took a break until now, which i noticed that promoting my gunner, i had the option to promote scout. Not sure if that helps or not

You might have to rollback a version on AMD. Many people with the same issue with amd had to do the same thing and works afaik.

@neon shuttle I have a 1050 Ti, I'm forced to do all low graphics, but at 60fps and 100% resolution, DX12 disabled though. Mostly DRG's fault for trouble performance. The shadow quality is what increases the most for broken reasons.

I played DRG during the free weekend and it ran fine, picked it up on sale and now it doesn't start. keeps saying waiting for steam to load. before you direct me to the fixes don't bother i've tried all the fixes the devs posted and some more from forums. Nothing is working, I don't have antivirus other than firewall so it isn't that and firewall doesn't have any DRG files in its quarantine, so its not that. I messaged two friends and started up 5 online games on steam all worked and friends recieved all messages, so its not that. Can anyone please give me any fix for this damn game as Steam has refused to refund me due to my play time from the free weekend?! I now have a $23 game that is completely worthless, pretty much just threw money down the drain and spent ours trying to get it to work.

Ok so idk wtf just happened, I went in settings of router and there wasn't anything in firewall settings, i released and renewed my IP settings, then i reopen steam and deleted the start up videos. then i ran the game as admin and it got steam loading, then i didn't run it as admin and just ran from steam and BAM IT WORKS!

ok figured it out, i had disabled the blocking popups so i wasn't seeing what my firewall was blocking, it appears it was blocking the DRG/FSD/Binaries/Win64/FSD-Win64-Shipping.exe file

I bought the game in early access, and mained the Scout.
I stopped playing fo a time (for reasons), and after release I came back to the game.
I had a Scout promotion asssaignment (third star), which i completed, but my Scout still stuck at Lv25, with 2 stars,
without any Scout assaignment, with the left top corner saying: "Up for Promotion!"... What should I do???

i have a feeling its smthng w proton interacting w my OS (OpenSuSe 15.1) and drg thats the issue, cuz the utterly random nature of the crash (~ 1 in 50 matches crashes, sometimes droppod exiting, sometimes middle of a swarm, heck i had a crash once just in spacerig, and sometimes w the audio still playing looped for upwards a minute). anyway if i get to confirm my suspicion then i'll forward the issue to wine/proton devs. (had to switch from proton 4 to 5 when u32 came out, cuz drg failed to detect steam despite begin launched from steam.)

Sorry for the late comment: The game loads the whole cave / level in RAM during mission. The game actually doesn't require that much of a graphics card to run, but at least 3 GB ram for itself

I have an issue with the game resolution

I can't make the game go 1920x1080 fullscreen even though the settings say it is so, the game resizes itself to 1366x768

I've tried different resolutions but none above 1366x768 seems to make any difference

don't know if it's related but I'm using two monitors over two displayport, the game is running on the second one, a 1920x1080 screen, while the first one is a 1366x768 screen

is the resolution by any means being limited by the first monitor resolution?

I have a bug where there will be a delay with my mouse. I know it is not the mouse because I bought a new one, and I have only had issues in Deep Rock. i found a small bosco AI bug during the pipe break phase of refinery.
very easily reproducable.
if bosco is repairing any pipe while the player finishes repairing a different pipe, then bosco will stop repairing his pipe.

this is pretty annoying, as in solo refinery you'll find yourself often commanding bosco to repair a leak and then repair a different one yourself, which consequently means that a lot of times you'll end up with a half repaired pipe and wonder why bosco canceled his job.

@light carbon , as far as I know it would be impossible to get him out unless the trawler grabs him again. It happened to me on solo and I only got out when the trawler grabbed me a second time and pulled me out. Idea on fix : disable trawlers from going inside of those areas (once they have you or completely), make it so they cant drop you in there (instead have them drop you once you are outside of it), make it so that you get put outside of it.

Just did a deep dive and couldn’t complete it because the last mini mule leg was missing. The mini mule was spawned by the heart stone so I’m guessing the last leg was in there searched for an hour in the crystals by it and no luck 😦

Hello 👋🏻 yes the bomb dispenser was stuck in the ceiling, but the tunnel that he should fall from was there , unfortunately I didn’t take any more screenshots of it. Also don’t remember the seed for that. If it happens again I’ll take more screenshots and proof 😅 so it will be easier to identify if it’s a real issue for the game or I just got a strange unlucky spawn.

Not much of a bug, but maybe its worth mentioning anyway:

When passing out at the rail that holds the barrel hoop near the abyss bar, its impossible to be revived (since if a player is standing on the hoop, it makes them go left and right very fast, disabling them from reviving the passed out teammate), nor possible to respawn at the med bay, so you're basically stuck there.
From my testing, if there are conscious players in the lobby, then the way to work this out is to either disband the team, or let them all be passed out to let the game respawn everyone at the medbay automatically.

So basically, in a situation of which a player is passing out at the hoop rail (not an easy thing to do on its own), let them automatically respawn at the medbay, without the need to wait for someone to try and revive them.

Just had an escort mission where about halfway through the drilldozer started taking periodic damage from nothing and did not stop taking damage. It also pathed up to, then halfway around the ommoran before finally going into position to drill into it.

Also, the mule bugged out and stopped responding to summons around the same time that the dozer started taking bugged damage.

Scout had to go back and screw with it's physical surroundings to free it

There's two things you could try, while I look for more.

1. Try switching to experimental branch by going to the game's properties/ betas and the dropdown bar, choose experimental public, let it finish and then switch back to standard.

A friend of mine had issues after switching to DX12. His game would constantly CTD shortly after booting. After switching back to DX11 the issue was gone. I then found the solution to be able to play the game with DX12.

The solution I found was to disable overlays like Discord and Steam. I hope this information will be useful to others.

Only two morkite wells spawned in this refinery mission. We've scoured the contiguous cave and drilled a bit into the rock and still nothing. It did generate with a pickaxe overcharge sprinkler.

It is a bug, but there are workarounds to fixing it, because I had it before, 2 years ago. Figuring out how I solved it, which I think it was screen mode in game. I'd just keep fiddling around, even the methods from other people.

@magic pollen DX12 enabled has issues currently, one of them being steam overlay(s) breaks or the game wont start up anymore. It's different for everyone. You can try it and if it does crash when startup, you can open up its usergamesettings to disable it

I've noticed an odd issue where the host has voice chat turned on (always not push to talk) even though the setting is push to talk. Toggling it on and off fixes it. Seems to do that each time you start hosting a lobby.

Just had a game where Driller got stuck on a pipeline. I managed to unstuck him by killing him with a supply drop.

Radioactive exclusion zone always has lots of texture clipping issues for me.

The fungi just flash yellow like in the picture. Mactera spawns also flash yellow sometimes. Pratorians and Oppressors flash green.

The second picture is not in radioactive exclusion zone, but after playing on it. The bug then persists to the other maps until I restart the game.

Here are my settings.

Fuel canister disappeared and then the marker re appeared at the start of the map

We were at the last stage of Elite Deep Dive and the can disappeared. The marker for the canister appeared at the start of the map but no actual can.

I think its related to the bug where people go down and fall through the map. (Map mesh issue?)

The picture above shows the MARKER for the canister but there is no canister there. (We had to quit the mission)

That part of the UI flickers back and forth between two positions, producing a ghosted image. It's kind of seizure inducing.

This may be coincidence but it appears to be related to the length of the list because my driller has fewer hair options and doesn't provoke the same issue.

not neccessarely a bug, but rather a consequence of how the whole "connected to something else" thing works. someone explanined to me that in order to determin if terrain is floating or not the game checks for ancor points and not for a connection to the outer granite. so if there happen to be an ancor within those platforms then that whould explain it.

Ever since the hotfix this morning, my friend and I are not able to join each others' lobbies. Neither of us is behind CGNAT, AV/firewall is disabled, nothing has changed in either local network, we have the same public IPs from our ISPs, using ipv4 stacks at both ends and we've been able to play perfectly together before the hotfix.

The symptom is a "multiplayer session ended" message on connect and persists through relaunching the game and rebooting our computers. Both of us can connect to public servers but can't connect to each other now, since the hotfix.

Both of our steam usernames are showing correctly in the portrait/rank UI

Anything else we can try?

The game prevents joining if the game versions don't match. Verify you've actually received the update. You should be on version 1.32.47810.0

I think it happened because I killed betc right as she was goint to go into the shield + grenade launch phase

@acoustic crow @keen nebula Is "joining each other" still a problem? Recent steam thread brought this up and helped the person. Worth a try.

Go to Steam > Settings > Downloads > click on clear download cache
You will have to restart steam and login again.
