Noticed if you jump onto loot box button and jump again it launches you in the air. Enough to cause fall damage

It seems that the game over system doesn't take Iron Will into account everytime. I was healing up another fellow dwarf while in Iron Will, but at the second he stood up, the game over screen showed up (my 9 seconds of iron will didn't fade at that moment.)

Hi, i encountered multiple crashes to desktop while in a mission. How can i fix this because the game otherwise runs super smooth. I Have 4 crash dumps in my Saved/Crashes folder? Thank you π
There is a minor bug were the mission details in the HUD are not updated, if the host changes the difficult level but not die Mission itself.
In the loading screen the correct details are shown
been noticing a bug with some of my friends where they see completely different mission selections to every one else in the party

I have a issue with the voice, my friends always complain about the double mic when someone host. To resolve the bug i need to click the voice button to stop it and i never know when my voice is activate, it would be nice to show when your voice is actived
A little rough, but proof of the minehead landing predeployed on point extraction missions. I have seen this happen 4 out of 4 times and have friends saying they have seen the same in their games as well.
anybody have this glitch in the deep dive where you can't do anything and this is all you see?

I seem to be getting some weird issues lately that cause me to jump around to different spots without actually intending to and freezing up to a full like, 7 seconds kind of like a timeout
It seems like a network issue but actually does make a difference with some hosts, like one the other day I couldn't interact with anything and fell through the map when I went down
Oddly enough when I move around during this 'frozen game' period, I'll end up in the spot I moved to and damage I made to enemies is applied as well
So, I don't know the full context of what happened due to being away from the computer at the time, but apparently, the host was dancing and then jumped on top of a barrel, causing him to fall through the grating. He remained trapped inside the grating, leaving him to have to restart the game.
I was at the end of an elimination mission. I was soloing it as Driller and, as usual, I dug my way to the drop pod's location and ended up getting there long before the MULE could. It was Sandblasted Corridors and a Trawler spawned right next to the drop pod. It ended up grabbing me and dragging me towards the Drop Pod. I guess it dragged me into the Exit Zone for the pod because I was suddenly inside the Drop Pod being extracted with Mission Control saying the usual "Good work" line. It's a very specific set of circumstances and I don't think it'll affect anyone negatively, but just thought it might be interesting.
Any developer available to take a look at 'Unhandled exception' crash, 100% reproducible at the end of DD mission?

hey, not sure if its a bug or just me, but some of my friends also have this problem; playing as scout sometimes I'll try to use the grappling hook, so i hold click but it acts like i just clicked instead of held, so it shoots out and immediately comes back in, leaving me standing right where i was and the cooldown starts; this is a problem sometimes when escaping a swarm or trying to get red sugar while on iron will, does anyone else have this problem? thanks

I've had this problem but it was more user fault than game fault. Sometimes I'd not press hard enough meaning it shot but wouldn't keep going

I'm not sure if this affects anyone else, but I seem to have a problem where sometimes at seemingly random points my mouse1 just won't work and I can't fire. This doesn't happen in any other games so what could be the issue here? Also apologies if this is the wrong channel I didn't know where to dump the msg
nah i was in iron will then i dropped down to get health, got it, then i still went down
Try rebind your keys or switching weapons, or you could check on your mouse settings

Is not being able to see health bars while on a zipline a bug?
The PGL projectile, when shot at a mactera, doesn't detonate at the mactera, but instead visually gets stuck in it and explodes behind it as if the projectile went through it
The Deepcore GK2 has a bug, if you switch to (or hover over) the Custom Engineered skin, and then back to Mechanised or Glyphid trophy hunter, you still keep some of the colour scheme from the Custom Engineered skin.

Hello all, I saw that the auto reload sound bug was patched in the seventh hotfix but i think there is still a way to trigger this bug again. If you have a boomstick with 0 ammo in your bag and only one in the chamber the reload sound should trigger sometimes. I however haven't tried after the eight hot fix.
I am not sure if anyone else still has this problem, but my breach the core assignment is still not available, it only shows me the weekly core hunt. This even happens after reinstalling, but if i delete my save file, it will appear in the assignment list, so it seems like my save file is broken. Anybody got any ideas on how to fix this?
you cant do the original assigment quest again. you do it once and it unlocks the weekly

I've been having an issue with the game; Every time that I host a lobby, whether it's my friends that live nearby or complete randoms that join, the game bugs when starting the mission. All the players just clip through the dropship, and the land that the drop pod is supposed to break remains intact, until it decides to dissappear all at once, most of the time leading to just instant death by gravity. I'm not sure if I'm the only one that this happens to, so idk if the error could be on my end and not the game's, but I haven't been able to host for some time because of this issue. Sorry for the long-ish message

It has happened THREE TIMES. The pod comes down during an extraction and I can't move. Tried to get Bosco to revive me out of there, didn't work. Didn't work mining myself out. Just stuck for eternity.
I have yet to complete a dive because of this.
That soured me, I'm done for the day.

Went down in a game last night and I fell through the bottom of the map into the abyss, reappeared on the lowest level of the cave beneath me.
It's not constant, and I'm not sure what conditions in the game cause it but it's happened a couple times already
This might be a one-off thing, but during an EDD none of my perks were active, despite equipped. Don't know how that happened. Anyone had that before?
@marsh copper You're meaning when you load in, but you're stuck at the ground of the terrain and then the droppod comes landing on you type of deal? That really is annoying and had been common for far too long, like months. I think devs are still trying to figure out how is this happening.
The possible way to fix it is dont press anything, let it all load, and if still happening, might need to spam grenades below you that will kill you so Bosco can revive you and droppod leaves.

Oh yeah, in mid air as well. But yeah, Ive experienced too, and spawns you either at the lowest elevation of the map, or somewhere else.
I should get a clip of it and send it to the devs to get a visual perspective of it. Im getting tired of this bug happening to everyone for too long.
Any mention of the freezing bug lately either?
Acts a lot like a server/client timeout, everyone freezes in their current position, I can move but clearly I'm stuck in place for a few seconds.
Saw it mentioned a couple times but not super often
and it's not like, freezing as in nobody moves at all. Whatever they were doing at the time loops. Like the gunner's minigun will just fire repeatedly, bugs will loop whatever animation they were doing, etc
Had an issue where a grabber grabbed me while I was in the drop pod, got hit by an attack and dropped me, INSIDE the pod...
Goo bombers dying on the point extraction minehead sound glitches out and their bodies remain there for a while still
Also if you zipline to the drop pod so u can drop down on the deposit things but a bug knocks you off while carrying a large stone near the pod, the stone will glitch and clip through falling inside the pod drill itself where it cannot be obtained anymore
same thing happens with the minehead as stone will clip through if it falls out of ur hand
mactera bomber sounds are still playing after death
not sure if this has been brought up, but the voice coms are a bit broken, not saving push to talk and randomly turning on or off for said push to talk setting, even within a single session

Running in place, swinging their pickaxe, etc. Similar to timeouts in most games
Maybe a p2p sync connection issue? Those are common, especially if you were client and host's region is far. Though lately, with the new update, it doesnt matter hoe close, some will still lag.
Yeah I always choose close games, I figured it was a p2p issue but I don't know why my system seems so much more prone than others

stood on a barrel as someone kicked it, got stuck in the railing behind the Mineral Trade terminal, couldn't get unstuck through any means
the stuck via barrel is very common, try your best not to stand on barrels to avoid OR just Leave Team and come back / re host

ive enountered an issue with dying while on zipline and not being able to be revived at all, we had a scout on an EDD that had to quit because we couldn't res him
as a gunner i was downed but stuck on my zipline and able to shoot my gun

I don't know if it's considered a bug, but I was doing the elite deep dive solo, and during the first salvage point I had four wardens and a solid 60-bug swarm spawn simultaneously on top of the point.
Heyo, joined the server 'cause I noticed something odd. Anyone else spot that the fuel cells in a salvage mission don't have a spinning drill, or is that just me? Happens every time, and our friend group noticed it too.

Not sure if this is a bug with steam or DRG but it seems the update broke. I can't launch the game because it's 'unpacking' the update. I tried verifying game files but it gets stuck on the first step.

nevermind, launching the game directly worked, so it's just steam being weird about the update
okay it didn't, but it turned out one file was 'locked' so I just deleted that and tried the update again and it's fine now
I just failed the solo elite deep dive on part 1 because a nayaka trawler dragged me into the closed drop pod before I completed the mini mule primary objective. The part 1/3 mission success voice line from the operator played, the drop pod descended, but the mission failed. Is this known? I searched for "trawler" in jira and didn't see anything.
would like iron will skill to have no cool down, does not make it OP cause need to gain health inbetween every instance of it, and pick and flares need a lot more options when upgrading

No, its just that they spend most of their time in the ground

@harsh crest the engineer's turret is terrible at acquiring targets. It can't shoot anything fast or anything that leaves and re-enters the sentry's field of view. I think that's probably why it can't kill the Parasites.

it says next assignment and the time is in red.. its not optimal, but its the way it currently is

the weekly which is open, is more bright and has "deadline" in the counter to differentiate it, but as i said, we would like to improve it sometime π

I had a loot crate in sandzone dreadnaught hunt spawn in the "blue ribbons" area of the egg, and wind up floating a good distance in the air, connected to nothing. Came in as gunner to bail my bro out.

I think before 25 update the "hardest" mission was Point Extraction because of frequent enemy spawn, but now after all hotfixes Salvage Operation is the hardest. Maybe this mission still have some glitches in spawn mechanics. Also that first Elite Deep Dive mission was a nightmare because of that.
Point Extraction has always been the easiest, if you have a team with a mindset for speed running. I'd argue that point extraction scales poorly with team experience. It's really unkind to new players, and my preferred haz5 map

I'm getting this bug where the game thinks I've only done one deep dive. Both the Steam achievement and the perk points progress tracker show only one completed Deep Dive, even though it should be 4 or 5.

This issue actually happened to me in single player as scout and was basically a soft-lock since inactive Mini Mules do not have physics (can't stand on them)
Lowering FPS limiter to 60 reduces the stutter but it still occured once in a game i played
Apologies friends, if i may ask, has anyone ever encountered an issue where the prompt for 'E' interaction doesnt show at all?
i. e. Zip lines, carrying large objects, Resupplying etc.
I am unable to use these things since without a prompt, i cant touch it
I am not sure if its a bug or is supposed to be this way, but I had completed both of my weekly assignments earlier in the week, and the proceeded to promote my engineer from bronze to silver. Immediately after doing so, my weeklys reset and now I can do them a second time.
(UncleAli) I had it happen once after picking up and immediately dropping a gem, a couple of patches go. The last hotfix had attempted to fix that bug. In my case, dying and reviving didn't fix it, but letting myself freeze did, and I was able to continue the mission.

alright, so im not certain if this is a known bug , but if you use a throwing axe against one of the electric crystals, you take a absurd amount of damage (maybe the damage from the axe itself, altough it can't friendly fire which makes this whole thing weird).
You take damage if you hit them while being too close, how far away were you?
Throwing axe activates melee specific perks, and when you melee an electric crystal you take damage (to prevent you just mining them all). I assume the game treats the axe like a melee attack and that's why you're taking damage. Probably just an oversight?
It was not the area damage from the axe and I were not near it. Also the damage seemed insane. I was at full health and got chunked down to like 10%. Hitting the crystals with the pickaxe doesn't deal that much damage, does it? Not sure actually
Had a little thing happen where after digging up a pearl during a sandstorm and dropping it, I was stuck at the 'carrying something' walking speed with nothing in my hands. Made drilling for the drop-pod something of a slog. Picking up the pearl and dropping it again didn't fix it.
Maybe the damage from the crystal is calculated based on how much damage your melee attack deals, so the axes (which do some tasty damage) could be doing the same. I haven't melee'd crystals in a fair while though, so I don't recall how much damage it deals.
the game really does not want you to destroy these things. Can't even drill them out of the ground properly
but then again, you can just shoot them i guess. Thought I was smart using my axes :c
You can shoot them, but it takes a fair bit of ammo. I think they just wanted the cost to remove the hazard to be pretty high, or else everyone would just break them all and not have to play around their timing
yeah, I actually like them in terms of being a biome specific hazard. They just have really weird rules and don't behave like pretty much anything else.
I think it would be fair to be able to use axes to damage the crystals (without taking self-damage), though to keep with the design of cost for hazard removal, you shouldn't be able to recover them afterwards. After all, the few axes it would take to break them are comparable to the ammo you'd use otherwise.
pretty much what im thinking. It's not like it's gamebreaking or anything, just an odd interaction that most people probably won't even experience.

We just went through a salvage mission and my 3 teammates saw the fuel supply spawn up high, but I saw it spawn on the ground, with much arguing. See photos

After I had fixed it, the area that we needed to stay in was on the ground like I had told them and they still saw the fuel cell up on the wall
I can confirm I had the same fuel cell bug as well
but it was only 2 team members that saw the wrong placement of the cells
Oh and while playing it was as if there was an invisible fuel cell there so it seems its just visual
There's a problem with the MULE/BOSCO or Cryo Grenade hitbox that makes it detonate in midair if thrown near either of those 2. Looks like someone reported it yesterday. Hopefully it makes a hotfix
It might just be for grenades in general though. Seems to happen with Incendiary too

you don't go to the buying terminal go to the actual customation terminal
any forged oc's or looks are automatically unlocked. and you can find cosmetics at the terminal and ocs in your character terminal.

You mean the mission accomplished screen with biome as background, but it doesn't continue to the dwarf mission summary?
If that was the case: in my experience it's always one of the players who is stuck (he has a black screen). All other players 'wait' for everyone else to load so don't continue.
As soon as that person with the black screen disconnects, all other continue to the summary screen and get their rewards.
(Same issue with loading into the mission, where the mission doesn't start in the drop to the planet screen, because one is stuck. He leaves, everything continues)

anyone else get that bug where push to talk just stops working and everyone hears everything your mic picks up
Could be related to pressing E and throwing it at the same time? I sorta button mashed
It wasn't fixed by going down or anything else, but it was fine once we got back to the space rig
@tender bone nah it was a solo mission, and it just gave me a blank/blurry biome and it never continued to the next mission. Since it was solo, I couldn't disconnect/reconnect or get any rewards sadly, had to alt+f4

Only happens when you're in an open discord channel with others and then start the hosted games, so game sees mic as open, pressing transmit button fixes it? He had some reproduction steps written down.

looking at the video, it looks like your pc is under specs for the game, which could also be the reason why you are loading on top of the droppod, or perhaps your connection is causing it

I think the spawning on top of droppod is performance related. (Terrain is not removed fast enough going down). But I think its fixable without too much issue.
i will be upgrading my pc parts soon hopefully it will get fixed then, this issue started happening after the major update. which implies its putting alot more load on my old pc then usual

AND if you drop into the gap of the drill below the drills themselves, the hole is deeper and way harder to get out again than before.
Would it be possible to modify the droppod so that the drillpart sticks out only 1 row of those 'fingers' and the rest clips into the terrain? Like the drillhead on point extraction, you can't 'crawl' under there. But you can get stuck under the droppod (which quite a few players in my games do, including stupid me :D )
Or is that part Intended behaviour / workaround for the droppod to'notice' that nobody is inside anymore and leaves, to make a failsafe of people getting stuck under there in the first place? (Like on Missionstart)

Has it been mentioned yet that destroying things with the new 'everything is destroyed instead of floating in mid-air' mechanic destroys minerals that are doen this way? An easy way to test this is with Hollomite. Always get far less by destroying the base than just mining it from the top > down.

The patch notes mention being able to see your teammate's ammo both when looking at a resupply pod and when holding the Control pointer. However, the ammo only shows when looking at a resupply pod or depositing in the MULE, but never when holding the pointer. Edit: Also when reviving someone. I assume anything that has you hold E shows the ammo, but Ctrl doesn't.

The HUD's keybinds need their names changed to their symbols. I'm left-handed, so many of my action buttons are near my arrow keys.
Problem is, that the game gives those buttons such long names that it covers up the grenade count!

Minimules are bad at making it back to the drop pod now, they just run in place. I noticed it happening at least twice (hotfix 10)

But it's super obvious that they behave the same way as the mini turrets on the mining platform in point extraction missions.
They even sound the same now so it feels like you guys accidentally turned sentries into the way weaker mining platform sentries.
And just to reiterate: We're not talking about shooting over edges or through terrain, we're talking about the enemy literally being right in front of the sentry and the sentry taking forever to lock on, then only shooting a few bullets and then stopping even tho the LOS never changed.

I switched to the gemini system just to see if it makes a difference and yeah, when you have two sentries they actually seem to work fine.
- Clients haven't been able to hear Glyphid Menace's sounds (aside from the very faint firing sound) since the inception of the Menace.
- Clients cannot trigger the new voice lines for grappling hook and grenades, like Driller's axe puns.
- Various reload animations stop walking / running animations, so dwarves are just sliding around while reloading, especially when Gunner's minigun overheats.
- Gunner's minigun overheats too early for other players, so if you're looking at a Gunner player firing his minigun, his minigun will overheat earlier in your view than his.
- Sometimes the mining animation breaks in third person, so it looks like a player is just aiming their weapon while mining. (probably when starting to mine right after a weapon switch or reload).

The mini MULEs' pathfinding is - for the lack of a better term - kinda crap.
They keep getting stuck on non-existent obstacles and almost NEVER climb into the drop pod.

Yeah I know right, sometimes the MULE's even dig holes upward on the way to the drop pod and expect us to reach there. Like seriously.
cause they got beat up so badly, DRG just wants you to repair them enough just so they can scrap them 
they don't dig holes, they go through the supply drop shafts.
@fresh jacinth Do you have an Nvidia GPU? My game was crashing on startup (about 2-5 seconds in) for months, until finally I figured out it was Nvidia Ansel causing it. Disabling Ansel fixed my crashing entirely (by running C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\Ansel\Tools\NvCameraConfiguration.exe, clicking "disable" at the bottom right and then "save")
Query: has the issue in Deep Dives, where half the objectives are counted as 'secondary objectives' been fixed or is that still happening?

If a mule objective is secondary, it means you don't need to do an entire salvage mission's worth of objectives. Only the mule repair.
Deep Dives have 2 primary objectives required to complete the stage bud, thus why I noted it as being an issue in Deep dives

[HUD] Team Display - Feature: Added ammo counter to team mates icons, showing overall ammo status. Ammo counter is only visible when the player is looking at a resupply pod or the Laserpointer is equipped.
Although it is bugged because it works on ANY E prompt, including repair mules/interact with cargo crate.
It's supposed to show when looking at a resupply or when holding Control, but I assume it's bugged because Control doesn't show it, but every E prompt does

Had a bug in salvage mission where after successfully defending the fuel cells and waiting for the timer to end, the pod immediately leaves saying "Good work, we're pulling you back" while we're still outside. Mission failed
querry: any one else notice with the mechanized flamer skin that when reloading the canister turns red on the way out and just suddenly turns orange as you finish the reload, additionally that 'empties' that you toss out during the reload are the standard red color?

Hey so I just failed a solo hazard 5 (My first solo hazard 5 so i was actually stoked to win this) elimination because i could move in the drop pod during evac.
Note i beat the 3 Dreadnaughts, even got all the gold i could and made it to evac, but because i grappled in as Scout I was apparently able to move while the drop pod was leaving, So i thought it'd be neat to stand on the ramp leading up as the Drop pod was Returning and i Failed the mission, didn't get the Completion or survival bonus, But i did still have my win animation. I got drunk and passed out as the mission started and I was super drunk THE WHOLE MISSION. I even got downed and came back up and was still seeing double. It made me sick in real life. Still completed the mission though! For Rock and Stone!

Yea the desync and lag issues have been really bad with update 25, we saw them more with 4 people on a map but with the last two hot fixes now it happens with just two people on a map.

aight, so i've played drg this morning and discovered ammo counts for people, this is really helpful feature, neat too, but i can't see check ammo count if i am not picking ammo up/repairing/reviving ? instead of just passing this feature on to laser pointer, you put it on specific actions instead of making it accessible at all times ? that's a bruh in my opinion

There's a few more that happened to me but I'd have no idea how to repro. I joined a game and a teammate was downed (likely before I joined). On my screen he didn't look downed so I couldn't get him up.
He was sort of frozen in a weird pose standing still.
And one more: Someone tried to join our game as it was ending. When we got to the end screen where your score is shown, his spotlight was there (in red).. and nothing happened. Everything was frozen, as if waiting for the player. Eventually we asked him exit his game, then the score was shown as normal.

Seems kind of back asswards on the crates issue honestly, gathering the batteries for them isn't so difficult that players that latejoin should be screwed out of the skin for not being there for it. At the very least, they shouldn't have to stare at a big paintbucket icon they can't interact with.
Have encountered a pretty serious bug since hotfix 9. Has happened a couple of times now, seems infrequent though. During extraction phase at end of mission, was waiting inside drop pod for team mates and I was taking damage from enemies outside the pod. The damage ticks were low but considering the swarm it added up damage wise, other team mates also experienced same issue inside pod. Does the fix involving mactera grabber possibly have something to do with this?
you should be completly invulnerable during that part, so that sounds strange
@lapis dust Iβve also had this. I always take damage inside the pod. Small damage, but itβs there. Any explorers, praetorian vomit etc.

@grave root it's not really related to satchels, it just exploded a block of holomite that got created when you cut the pillar. You could see spikes in the air - it seems to me like a consistent indicator that the bug has occured and you could explode it again. Furthermore, someone sent a couple of screens with umanite where they had those spikes and a whole block of umanite after that. And I myself had encountered this with umanite. Happens to crystal resources it seems. And I also had seen it happen to terrain after Upd 25. Hope It cleared something for you

You should under normal circumstances return to the level after a little while, but that might be broken.
Probably it has been said, but lemme make sure: If you destroy a hollomite or whatever crystal resource pillar you want to name, including red sugar, it will shatter in pieces and the pieces will be unpickable. I assumed I'd get all the resources at once, or the resources can be picked
I'll just leave this here since I think it was a pretty obscure bug. I held left mouse, as if to throw the heavy object in my hands, but deposited it instead without ever letting go of mouse one beforehand. The result, I was stuck in perma walk, as if I was still carrying a heavy object... On a rich atmosphere level....

Question out of interest: U25 hit Xbox. Which of the versions? Doesn't that mean they get those blackscreens now if theyre not on Hotfix 10?
Hey, I have a question, I used to be able to run this game at high/ultra on a solid 60 fps, but ever since the first big updates, I have a lot of issues with lag, and have massive lag spikes that just freeze my game even on the lowest of settings. I really love this game, so I was wondering if anyone had any advice to fix this?

Hello all, I am here to report that the auto reload mod is still bugged regarding the sound triggering mutiple times when you don't have any ammo left. At first i thought it was because i only had one round charged into the weapon and no ammo in the backpack. But having no ammo at all will trigger the bug too.
If you fullly charge up any carriable item throw, and turn it in instead or do something else like resupply, then you're always slow until you die.

I have an urgent problem and I'm not happy with this bug. In hotfix 10 it states that the weekly assignment bug showing as completed is fixed but in my case it's not! there are about (not sure if true) 5 OC for each class weapon, so you have a 25% approximately when you dont have any, then it only gets more chance to get one for Gunner. its just RNG thats screwing you over.

unfortunately we died at the 2nd stage
and although I saw my reward greyed out, when I went to the forge, it was awarded

Me and my buddies keep crashing on magma core pretty consecutively. Anyone else dealing with that?
Not sure if this has been reported, some of my missions are just randomly dropping when I leave the game, like the weeklies, had only the last phase when I signed of last night, now I had to reselect it and am having to start over
I am unable to promote my driller since i completed a mission where i got to level 25 and then was sent to the medical room as a gunner. It also said congratulations on getting to level 25 as the gunner, even though i was driller. For some reason my characters have been returning to the medic room even though we won several times, and always switching characters.

I just encountered a problem where the game has reset my progress and loaded me back into the tutorial mission everytime i exit and reload the game. And after doing the tutorial mission i can't accept anything on any of the terminals. So no buying anything or accepting any missions. Completely stops me from playing the game.
Crashes on Xbox/Windows:
I am on Xbox, playing with a guy on Windows and sometimes with randoms.
1: Was hosting a deep dive, got a crash involving a video card being out of storage or something.
2: Crashed 1 minute from the end of stage 3 in the deep dive as host. The classic game freezing, making a horrendous beeping for 10 seconds, and then crashing to home.
3: The same thing happened 3 more times to me while doing regular missions
4: I don't know the details, but my mate crashed like 8 times
@pulsar tendon Oh, you should've checked to see if a "reset progress" button showed up in your menus, or click options and in Gameplay tab, there's a reset progress button.

@lapis dust Super late but yeah I think limiting crates to 4 skins per crate would be a good compromise. IMO it's nonsensical to punish randoms for joining late (which should be encouraged) just because of a niche situation where you could get a single skin for all your friends

Damn Trawler ending my missions early
This is a more common one duplicated about 1/2 of the time where the camera is much higher than the actual functioning model when first dropping.
Iβve also recorded that about 3/4 to 4/5 of attempted missions lose connection before actually dropping
And of those successful few about 2/5 of which have a crash before the finish
And about 1/3 of the crashes were hard crashes and not disconnects
All from the spread of 5 hours and about 40 attempted games all on Xbox
I had no problems in any of the 3 Solos I did so anyone experiencing these issues and trying to grind, budding with Bosco is in my experience a temporary fix

Just had a Dreadnaught continuously explode and chip away at the ground underneath a downed teammate. Dug them so far down it wasn't even feasible to get them out.

Same thing happened to me on EDD stage 2. I got downed right next to a resupply pod though and it kept coming down with me every time the dread dug, maybe that had something to do with it?

I don't know if this is a bug or intentional but when the ground gets destroyed below the Supply drop, the supply drop will drop and play the animation sound of it hitting the ground as if it was dropping for the first time and also shakes the screen.

After switching class and exiting the equipment terminal, I went down on my end but everyone else saw me as being up. They tried starting the mission without me (I was the host) but that failed. Before I could offer a suggestion, I switched my spectator view to them and that seemed to count as me being inside the drop pod, starting the countdown.

On Stage-1 of the Elite deep dive (Sandblasted Corridor - Extraction) I got stuck on the Mine Head and was forced to abort. In multiplayer, this happened to an engineer twice on two different runs (didn't record those).

I would post via Jira, but am having issues logging in - many updates ago (maybe a year ago?) I temporarily changed my controls, using X for the laser pointer. Ever since then, having changed the controls back to the defaults, pressing X still brings up the pointer, and only shouts if I quickly double tap X (first tap still starts to bring up pointer). This persists even though I have explicitly set the primary, then secondary, then primary binding of both shout and pointer back to their defaults, and no matter how many times I press "reset to defaults". Reproduction rate: 100%, Windows 10 PC, AMD Ryzen 5 1600 Six-Core Processor 3.20 GHz, 8GB Ram
I would have mentioned sooner but was hoping it would get noticed and patched out. Seems it's less common than I expected.
What is also common today is people being able to join your mission when its fully completed and hitting the button on the mule while you're fighting a wave and getting you killed/not reaching the drop pod in time

Separate issue: because I play on a large TV across the room, I have OS zoom/scale at 200% (resolution: 3840x2160) - when the game exits, or if I alt tab, my Steam friends window has been resized so that it is super tiny and no longer functional - has to be closed via the task bar and reopened to function.
Same PC specs as noted above, obviously
And finally, when I alt tab in fullscreen mode, I get stuck in a black screen that necessitates a logout or restart to escape. I can't just use windowed fullscreen as I've seen suggested, because the framerate drops significantly (in true fullscreen it's quite smooth).
If I can get Jira working I'll repost there, but hopefully this is the right place to put these in case I can't get in.

Every time i complete a mission for the weekly core hunt I reload into the space rig with the core assignment un-assigned and no progress recorded. This has happened 4 times in a row over the course of the last two days.
Sentry is still broken. Dunno what the LoS fix today was suppsed to do but the sentry is still not shooting enemies LITERALLY directly on top of it...
And still no response if this is intended or not, getting a bit silly π¦

For some reason, fewer people have gotten the achievement for promoting everyone to silver than promoting to gold
shouldn't it be the complete opposite?
There's also two achievements that have color, which stand out quite a lot
Salvage missions i join have invisible uplinks that enemies and players can interact with but i cant.
Experienced perfect latency but game showed friend and i in different places during salvage mission.
This is happening on missions i join and missions ive hosted.

@timber skiff are you checking the wardrobe or the store? I was looking in the store for the longest time before I realized theyre sent straight to the wardrobe terminal. Dont forget each cosmetic is for a single class at a time too.
Ever since update 25 dropped my dwarf has been way more βclumsyβ when not hosting games. Terrain seems to grab/stop/flicker my character more often than not. Ledge grabs involve rapidly teleporting 3 or 4 times back and forth before actually being allowed to move on
Running up slopes causes teleporting/flickering too.
Just depends on how steep the slope is.
Noticed this in experimental and it has only intensified since the full update.
Clumsiness seems to coincide with missions where drillersβ holes fill back in, pickaxes donβt make marks immediately, and getting incapacitated sends you 4 feet into the ground for transparent spectator goodness
Bugs seem more likely to use ziplines too. I watched it happen TO the devs on their own stream last week, and the guy seemed genuinely confused and surprised when it happened. I would hope these sorts of terrain interaction kinks are a high priority because they are a detriment to some foundational features of the game - mobility and positioning.

I am sure these sorts of bugs are difficult to iron out because the internet connection and hardware of players probably has some sort of involvement. I for one rarely post here because i know my bootcamped 2014 macbook pro is not a common or optimal system to be attempting this game with - nevertheless, the wall of text i am laying down right now is affecting my friends as well who have an array of different hardwares and internet speeds

And i was pointing at the screen and hollering because i hate it when it happens and wasnt sure if it was an intended behavior

can confirm on the stuttering things, like slopes I can normally walk up or 'humps' at the top of a slop that I normally step over no requires jumping and even then sometimes it doesn't work, or sometimes I'll jump and a bit of overhand a dwarf's width away from my location (on my end) will still keep me from jumping. Even noticed it some in a single player mission so it may have to do with the same 'terrain fix' patch that's causing all the minecraft refrences

Thinned Drum Walls Overclock for the minigun doesn't work.
Neither cooling rate or ammo size is affected.
The base mining rate of the drill is displayed to be 2, but equipping the first mining rate +1 modification does not increase this number. However, equipping the second one as well increases this number to 3.
I also had an incident where the death counter in the med bay displayed my deaths/drunk pass outs instead of the ones of my mate. His name was displayed correctly though - just the wrong numbers. We were in a team of 3.
If you hit ok too quickly on the mineral containers you dont get the reward and the sound keeps playing until you craft another thing
Still having big problems regarding the Shield Generator and Satchel Charges clipping through the floor and becoming effectively wasted.
Mule also continues to take extremely malicious paths back to the drop-pod, such as passing through the tiny gaps of swarmer tunnels or other holes that are about half the size of a dwarf or sometimes less.
This can become game breaking in O2 missions when the Mule takes tiny holes through cliff faces that the dwarves cannot be reasonably expected to catch up with in time.
Postin for a friend, he is outta sync with everyone else in regards to zones, he just picked a mission that is not even on my map. Any advice on how to fix?

Try checking with your friend if his time zone is out of date, like if it's a day behind or ahead or something. If nothing is wrong there, maybe a fresh reinstall would work.

so, I noticed an issue with turret arc, some times it suddenly decides 'this is to much distance' despite having worked at that same distance before
major bug in the space rig, if you enter/leave a menu and have an active mission with at least one stage completed it'll sometimes play the mission stage completion audio again and lock your controlls

Game still keeps crashing about every other game. Getting tired of losing so much time on breach the core missions and losing good mission setups because of this. And theres also such a massive amount of glyphids spawning on elimination that lethality 4 is impossible even with 4 people including two gunners, and 3 is still kind of pushing it.

so uh, not sure what the deal is, but bulks are spawning more commonly than wardens and menaces atm for me/my friends, in first 2 deep dives, and a mission after we failed on the point extraction stage, we went in, no menaces or wardens but 3ish bulks, 8 total bulks encountered in what equates to 3 missions and 0 wardens, and 5 or 6 menaces, what's going on, did something in the hotfix break bulk spawn rates?

dieing doesn't block the achievement, but should any one else take the same amount (not percentage but flat hp amount) of damage as you, it keeps the acheivo from procing

We had our engineer die on the zip line in the middle of the air. Not sure how it happened, but we couldn't get to him since he was in mid-air pretty high above the ground. He had to disconnect and rejoin the game.
Hey ho, heads up. Spelling error at the deep dive terminal. Under the Deep Dive column on the left it says, "In this cold wastland, the frost is not the only thing biteing you." It should be "wasteland" and "biting". Hope this helps!
Minor bug: Since the last hotfixes (8?) sometimes the dwarves dont dance if they stand near the jukebox when it starts playing. If you leave and come back to the radius its fine again
Got gifted the game on Microsoft Store so I can cross play with my friend on Xbox, but after the last update the game won't start. Re-installed 5 times, reset/restarted PC multiple times.. anyone here got a clue?

- Play gunner with minigun
- Rotate screen by moving mouse left or right
- While rotating screen either left or right, shoot the minigun that is still moving (cooldown from previous shooting)
[Expected Results: The gun should stay in the same place, but instead it jumps back to the starting position (centralized in the screen)]

Hi folk, i am here to report that i have a big problem with the aggro system... basically i get all the attention from all of the big bullies especially "casphid" the alien ghost who decided that my butt was his only goal in life....as a result each ghost missions are just a dog walk for me....
Bug 1:
Enemies now spawn ON the droppod itself, even when its flying mid air.
Bug 2:
the box around the droppod is so small, enemies can crawl it and hit you inside, but you cant hit them outside. Annoying even with the 99% damage redaction
I just deleted a cargo battery from existence by shooting a platform next to it. Now i cant redeem my cargo crate. Thanks for that bug....
@rigid crystal I've definitely had it change targets during missions.
Bug: when joining a game and exiting the join pod, I will be flying someone in the air where in reality I am on the ground. When I walk over (or close to) this emptied pod where I came out of, my screen always goes mid air.. But for my teammates I am on the ground and as soon as I get a bit further away from the pod it becomes normal again.

Hopefully I'm in the right place, I emailed support which pointed me to the discord. I'm having an issue where I can't launch the MS store version of the game. Just closes and says "Can't open this app". Tried deleting app data, uninstalling, etc.
@ancient pollen How about troubleshooting the game? Or maybe there's a anitvirus active that is preventing it to start?
@pulsar parrot Troubleshooting doesn't list DRG unfortunately. Can't browse to the executable due to being in the WindowsApp dir. Disabling AV had no effect. I used to be able to launch it fine until yesterday.
