they dont have gravity, you can pile them up to make a tower, or remove the ground under to increase the radius, its a feature
yeah, happens a lot of time, its just an issue due to the terrain
you mean the flying molly? you restarted because of it?

oh, but yeah, sometimes pathing is messed up by the complicated terrain, if your molly gets stuck somewhere, try digging arround her to fix the pathing

These bugs are common. Many people have experienced the same ones and the devs yet to throw a hotfix for it.
i had never seen those hud bugs
The one where the equipment terminal hud gets stuck is new, but the bosco showing up in terminal thing is pretty replicable, just like seeing Scout with Gunner loadout.
Flying Molly or turret, always been there ever since. I and other people have reported all the other bugs and glitches quite a while ago. Just hoping the more we post it, the more aware the devs should get.

At that time we haven't even started the mission, we were setting up 1 class for each, I did choose Engineer, but then when the mission started I joined as a Scout.
I tried reconnecting afterwards and the same happened (if it is like you said, that's intended).
Then today I experienced that again, joined a random team as Driller (pre-selected), but the class choice was bypassed again and I joined automatically as Scout.
It seems that always when it occurs, we are not given the choice of class and it forces me to play as Scout.
Point Extraction bug, joined inside The All Bugged Out Structure that kept teleporting me back to it, has anyone experienced it already?
Try only changing classes from the terminal in your room, and see if that keeps it from happening or not. There was an intermittent bug where it wouldn't keep your selection when using the other terminals in the space rig, but I thought it was fixed a while back.
A trawler in the desert decided to leave me under the drop pod I guess.
So yeah, that's a thing. 👀
so I ended up timing my jump back into the drop pod wrong accidently on a point extract so just as the last teammate jumped out I jumped in and I ended up getting stuck in the drop pod and then fell to my doom
Has anyone had an issue with you getting kicked it of a mission when your controller disconnects on xbox. Two of my friends have had the problem but I haven't personally

Is there already a discussion about unfair spawns ? I mean it can happen to get squad wipe from time to time but it's a little unfair when you end up having a bulkdetonator spawning right next to you with him launching his blast attack the next second. Is there a way to add a screaming animation lock on him as well so people can clear the area in case there is a spawn like that ?
Does anyone else get this texture issue in the station? The bottom of the pipes flicker between two different textures. Had one friend he sees it too, just want to confirm. I think it's z-tearing. Just means two textures are on the same plane.

Hey @potent nymph! It was like a week ago that I posted my problem here (could not connect to a friend and vise a versa). I'm glad to announce that our issue fixed itself after we tried literally everything. Have no idea what it was, still investigating. I'll let you know what caused it if I'll ever find out. 
I’m having an issue rn that makes it so I can’t pick up an aquarq. Has anyone else had this problem?
Kind of a bad photo cause I’m in the middle of a swarm rn. But I get no button prompt to pick it up when I’m near it. I’m on Xbox if that helps.
Was Bosco holding the Aquarq when another player joined the game?
He did hold the aquarq but I was alone the whole time
What was even weirder is that I found another aquarq and finished the mission just fine. I think it was a cloning glitch of some kind.

There's always more Aquarq than is require on Point Extraction missions, but this still may be related to an issue with Bosco's new ability to retrieve items that has since been fixed in the last hotfix on the Steam version. I'm not sure exactly how up to date the Xbox/Microsoft version is, so it may just need that last hotfix.

Last game I played there was a chunk of ground floating you could stand on it as if it was ground but jump through the bottom of it

Yeah so we spawned in like this and we had to quit the game, also since the DRG window didn't close I couldn't open the task manager to close it so I had to restart my PC.
Hello everyone ! So I launched a mining expedition in the crystalline caverns (hazard 2) small cave minimal complexity with Mineral mania as the only mutator. At roughly 10 minutes I asked Bosco to dig through a wall to retrieve a compressed gold. He brough it to me but I could not take it so I made him drop the item. Once the compressed gold was on the ground I tried to pick it up but I could not.
No matter how close I am to the compressed gold the line " "e" pick it" does not appear.
I did nothing out of the extraordinary before that. I only summone a resupply right under the compressed gold, trying to make it fall in the process (the compressed gold was on the top of the cavern and as I driller it is difficult to get)
During this mission I asked Bosco to pick up 2 Jadiz and I was able to recover it normally.

This is a similar situation yes ! But I was not in a multiplayer session. I was in solo. Maybe it ahs nothing to do with a stranger connecting.
i think it has something to do with bosco being able to pick up an object without fully freeing it?
in the video bosco was able to pick up the egg without triggering the scream

Hey I just bought this game for my girlfriend. She opened the game and did the tutorial and when she finished I joined her and her account was level 12, gunner level 14, and she had 50,000 credits? she never played on a free weekend since she created the steam account 3 days ago. not sure how that happened
played DRG before that?
or had your account logged into it?
Maybe your save file was on her PC?
I had my steam logged onto her computer but never downloaded the game

You mean spawning below the pod, having it land on you and your being pinned by it until it leaves?
If that's what you're describing, it's a known desync issue
It’s still around, Easy way to get around it is just to disconnect and re-join
@graceful yarrow Yeah, it takes a long time to leave, I usually tell the person stuck to just blow themselves up.
Luckly it hasn't happened to a scout yet
I think there is a fun variant of this bug (as I also assume it’s caused by a desync) where during the start of a mission while the pod is coming down you can sometimes just move about the pod freely
^ Can confirm. You either spam move keys or hold it during the blackscreen between the loading screen and the droppod landing scene. Witnessed quite a few players replicating it.

It's kind of hard. I think its a very small desync time you can do it. LIke it needs to be timed right or you have to press certain keys. Ive only made it to where im out of my seat but not able to freely move around. It's damn well possible
Same happens upon exiting, Ive had a man throw himself out of the pod just as the doors closed and it took back off meanwhile the rest of us just watched.
Seems to be caused by weapons or "in combat" in general. Not too sure.

You could zipline or grapple your way out of being control locked previously
Scout, they can grapple hook in the droppod once it goes up they can move around. Gunner, they can zipline out of the droppod. Driller, you can spam axes and move around during the droppod
You can stay in the droppod as it goes up
It's more fun to stand on top of it as it rises
and then it'll soon dissappear and you'll start falling

Try to bounce off of a buddy's head at the bottom when you fall
It's a fun little challenge from that high up
Oh and they are behind the "Exit Zone" line when all 4 dwarves are in the pod?

whenever I lag out of a mission(which is alot) I get sent back to base and I try to start a new mission and the game freezes up. Following that I end the program and it locks up my steam so I have to restart my computer to start the game up again

did you boost your mic in windows?
default is usually pretty quiet, normally a +10db boost does the trick
Here my buddy shot the zipline at me just for LOLs... but then it stuck to me, when I moved away it was still stuck in the spot and usable. Not sure that's supposed to be like that ^^
Here the perspective of my buddy, who was standing close to the uplink when I finished repairing it, he then got 4 uplink symbols in his hud, even though we were only two dwarves. Other picture is me looking at him, with just the two (correct) uplink/dwarf symbols
Oh after he left the zone and then returned, the game showed him the correct progress bar
ziplines always stay in place after use
and they stop at the first object that has collision. be it wall, player or enemy
If ziplines didn't work this way they'd be even worse than they are now

Idk if it's only me but i can't launch the game form a desktop or taskbar shortcut. I can only launch from the steam library and i added exceptions to the firewall and still no go, anyone know what's up with this?

the issue stems from your connection to steam, so if completely restarting the steam application doesn't work, then you may need to restart your pc entirely
other than that, I haven't got a fix for you. it's all connection based

then something is blocking the game from connecting
go into your antivirus and make sure it's not being stopped from there
avast does this a lot
i use the default defender with windows 10 i will look into that
guess theirs no hope for me checked everything in the defender and nothing seems to be blocking it

so yeah i can confirm that the tank on the flamethrower changes colour if you reload it with the deepcore skin. My gamble is that the "trick animation" tank is used for the reload and that tank isn't textured.

I do not know if I’m the only one who’s encountered this bug; however, has anyone ran into infinitely falling resupplies?
It’s been about Less than a third of my games I play where I order a resupply, hits the ground, but does not cue the sound that the resupply deployed
Well not a third, that is still quite a large portion.. but it does happen infrequently and I just want to know if anyone else ran into it

On Xbox with update. We had a salvage mission that started with no mules. I think we weren't paying attention, and just assumed somebody else already repaired them. Came to the end of the round, and we had to abort.
@fiery dune I had that issue, It seemed to stop after I switched off my Steam broadcast but I'm not sure why. I also got a new monitor and mouse recently.

It happens whether I’m hosting a mission or if someone else is. It’s like I said; it is infrequent, but I can’t really take a screenshot of it happening because then it’ll just look like a spent resupply and not really adding to discussion
It’s the small 5% chance you call a resupply it will just load in the game and not deploy once it hits the ground. I’ve tried digging it and that doesn’t do much
@pulsar parrot sorry for the delay fell asleep, it was either gunner or driller. I never seen a scout or engi do it.
@high ginkgo No problem. By leaving the Droppod, Gunner could place a zipline inside the Droppod and press E on it while it is going up and can just leave the Droppod. For Driller, They couldve used their axes by placing them on the ground, once the Droppod goes up, The Driller can press E on it and can freely move around. Scout can just use a grapple hook inside the droppod and freely move around. Engineer, I havent found one for himself. Really, anyone can leave if the Gunner places a zipline inside. It's a fun thing to do, but I wouldnt recommend doing it since it can affect your survival bonus.
If you dont care, then I wont stop you xD. Maybe the developers.
There can be other tricks Im forgetting. Those are the ones that pops up first in my head.

Hi guys, im new to the discord here. but i figured i'd pop in and mention a bug with the dreadnaughts, might not be a bug persay but its pretty hilarious, but also devastating. when you go down near one, and there are no standing dwarves within range he just keeps digging you deeper and deeper. I ended up 140 meters down the other night. made it near impossible for my team to get me without downing themselves. it was comical though.

hello, don't know if this is bug or intentional, but you can only salute 1 time, once you start dancing. then you must stop dancing to salute again
Just had a Mactera grabber grab me while I was in the drop pod with 2 other players waiting to leave. They hit the grabber in time but I was stuck inside the side of the pod and I couldn't move. We had to wait for the timer to go out for the pod to leave.
Grabbers really shouldn't be allowed in the drop pod zone
bug collision at the pod is weird
I've noticed then sometimes when killed on the zipline, you're corpse will stay there, noticed it happen with gunners many times.
Also, in a semi-related note, dreadnought went after someone and got stuck on zipline.

Yes, I'm pretty sure the drivers are up to date. It's an audio driver issue and the it makes the game crash when I do anything audio related. Doesn't happen in other games.

yeah you can throw it through the window if you stand close enough. sadly it's double glassed so you can't throw it outside

got a bug where, upon clicking the abort button in a solo game, which happened to be mission objective but the objective criteria weren't met (hazard), the game froze / became unresponsive (menu wouldn't open, no sound effects, the screen froze), the music continued just fine, when I tabbed out and back it showed a frame from when the pod first landed for some reason, when I force closed it closed without incident.. windows did not report it as unresponsive
Got a bug where the entire team (and drop pod) spawned about 1500m above the actual spawnpoint.
interestingly when our team tried to dig down the rocks wouldn't break and would auto regenerate
after aborting entire game froze as well

yeah, it doesnt happen super often, but its not a terrible bug. it only happens right at the start so you dont lose anything when you reset

I got a new laptop and wanted to reinstall DRG. However it won't start? I reinstalled the game however it will not start up. I get a steam popup saying: "Installing directX" but it won't go past that. Let me know if I am in the wrong channel. Don't know when to report this tbh...

Has anyone experienced missing certain cosmetics they bought? I happen to be missing some of the seasonal cosmetics that I bought, anyway to regain them?
I am having technical difficulties and I was wondering if someone else was encountering this as well, or might know how to fix it. So I got myself a new laptop and wanted to install the game for the first time on this thing. Whenever I start the game, I get a pop-up from Steam saying: "Installing Directx" but after that it immediately cuts off and stops working. I have the latest DirectX version and I am not really sure how to fix this. I can't start the game.

That thread recommends to abort the installation. I have tried that as well. The new window shows: "Launching Deep Rock Galactic" But it still cuts off.
Reinstalling the game didn't work either.
Might want to remove DirectX manually, and then try or manually install DirectX. Might not solve it, but it should give you more info to work from.

It goes past the directX installation and immediately goes to: "Preparing to launch" steam recognises me playing the game for exactly 1 sec (I've had a friend who mentioned what they saw on their steam friends list)
That's probably just the initial loadup, primed by Steam - it does look like the process is halted right before the game actually launches.

Frequent bug, if the back side of the wall where drilling "Driller" Sitting bug. That wall is not drilled, but a beetle is drilled.
Reduce the hit boxes at the drill when drilling walls. What he hadn't drilled the bugs instead of the wall.

Is there a way to find crash reports/logs? It definitely breaks off during the startup sequence. All my drivers are up to date and I have reinstalled the game and Directx. Ran the game as administrator. disabled firewall. Disabled antivirus. Nothing.
There is a log file in one of the folders, but not sure it's generated by that kind of crash.

I fixed the issue! It was indeed a driver issue. In fact windows needed to be updated. This laptop is new and I expected that was the case. However the update only showed up just now. Which is weird because it kept saying I had the latest version.

Anyway thank you for your patience and thinking with me. Now I can finally get back to my translations 😛

so if you play solo on an assignment mission, and you leave the drop pod trough that scout/gunner zipline exploit (in which you survive at the endscreen and "succeed" the mission, but you dont get survival bonus if you leave the pod) your assignment mission seems to not complete

bugs considered the droppod, or terrain that it had destroyed a valid spawn location and sat there all game. Probably should have an exclusion zone so that doesn't happen.
I was checking my grenades. After switching terminals to buy some accessories, my character model was replaced with a cluster grenade.
Found another bug. The gunner's autocannon cannot deal damage to friendlies.
^ I'm sure that one is a feature. They recently tweaked no friendly fire from Autocannon

i found a bug. when i'm launching a mission to kill dreadnoughts my caracter is out of the escape pod then i fell and die and my friend revive me every time

I've heard reports other players have popped out of the Droppod randomly at times. I think it's some sort of desync issue with the host. But only happening when doing Elimination killing Dreadnoughts?
Were you host or client? Have you tried it doing it alone by any chance to see if it's a problem with you or with players?

I know there is a small desync between the loading screen and the droppod landing scene, meaning if you spam buttons WASD or something, you can possibly move around the droppod while its still digging. Are you pressing any buttons or anything of that sort during that moment?
I guess try it. I can't think of any other solutions at the moment.

The Driller's C4 is still being refilled only ONE unit per ammo cell, even if we have a capacity of 4 or 5 with the upgrades.
Ammo cells are meant to refill 50% of our capacity, so why aren't we getting 2 units of C4 for capacity 4-5? Unless it was purposely meant to be like that... but I'd find it strange when it used to refill 2 units instead of just one not too long ago.
Maximum C4 with all ammo upgrades is four, and when you are carrying four (assuming you're down to two or less before resupplying) each resupply properly gives two C4. Just tested on Steam live version, 0.24.28400.0.
Any other information or video you could share of this happening?

Wow, I haven't been paying attention to a VERY important detail. It's not 5 but 4 the max XD.
I always looked at 3+1 as 4 total (And 4+1 as 5, so I always stayed at 3 charges (assuming I had 4) to get some extra damage anyway). Mah bad people. I'm probably still drunk from the last round of Slammer!
Anyone experienced an inability to join public missions? I get the "Joining" dialog box for a brief second, then it goes right back to the server list. Can't join games.

If it's only just now happening, it's likely because Steam does updates on Tuesdays, which messes with finding/joining matches.
apperently you can somehow invite people into solo games
and when you pause the game the other person can kinda buggily play the game and do stuff
you need to unpause for things to get synched again tho like killing enemies etc

@elder palm every Tueday at 7pm Steam does server maintenance which only lasts for 5 - 10mins and usually prevents anyone from sending steam invites and so on

Well, I took some 3D rendering software and created a concept picture with Molly and the Gemini system attached in some cave exploration. you can see some glypheids in the background, but they are a bit hard to see

So I’ve noticed that every time I watch people play scout on stream, their M1k has a crosshair, and that this crosshair morphs a little to show when their focus is fully charged. When I play scout With M1K i do not have a crosshair. It is only with this weapon, so I previously thought it was a feature, not a bug. I only get a crosshair once the m1k is fully focused, and even then it is incredibly faint and not the same shape as those I have seen on youtube and twitch. For context, I play DRG on the lowest graphics settings possible, because I am using a Bootcamped macbook pro to run windows X.
might have something to do with your dynamic resolution being too small and the crosshair simply being too small aswell compared to the total resolution
when the dynamic resolution gets lowered, you have less pixels. the crosshair might just be on some of those pixels that get removed (altho its not entirely removing, its more like merging)
try upping your dyn resolution just for testing purposes @cursive robin

By what your friend said that you have tried already, have you tried removing the introduction movie films that would show up in the very beginning? So like going into the files and removing them? Usually a common problem in this case and I can take you step by step

You could try by going to your library, to your game, right click, properties, local files, browse local files, FSD, Content, and then movies.

Nop, now Steam automatically check and install if required redistributable
you need to remove some key in the registry
to force steam to reinstall them
So you should open Regedit and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Valve\Steam\Apps\CommonRedist

Copy your experimental savefile, remove your original savefile in the standard branch and replace it with your experimental one, rename it the savefile it was normally called. "[steamID_Player1.sav]"

So I left my assignment board open, and i just completed the weekly priority assignment a few hours before the deadline, but now it says ive completed this weeks weekly priority assignment too -Edit: looks like a reboot fixes it
Spawned outside the ship at the start of round, Crystalline Caverns Elimination notable thing I did was change hazard 3 to hazard 4 on the same mission? Someone was in the ship already when I changed the difficulty.

Definitely a bug. I think TommyGun mentioned the "continue" button not showing up could be a window mode issue.

after a mission, between the ending screen and the loading, if I am at the Steam overlay screen, I cannot move, access esc, any menu, and I can only move the mouse cursor

continuing the thing from uh, @scarlet steppe's report, i got the same bug 2 times in a row in solo mode, spawned inside of the roof of the drop pod first game and on top of it 2nd game. im not sure steps to reproduce it but it might have something to do with my game settings being low (still running at 60 though), or me tabbing out while it loaded
I had a problem on an excavation mission where Bosco was carrying an Aquarq and I told him to attack an enemy then he dropped the Aquarq and I couldn't pick it up.
@swift horizon I created a list of solutions that could help with fixing black screens, crash startups, or maybe even in game crashes, just for people to view it with the problem.
game stole a nade from me after i used my last nade, got resupply and it went to 1
No screenshots for this but it seems that if you command bosco to mine something, you get less of the total than if you mine it yourself. This means that if you are driller or gunner and you see, say, a morkite deposit wayyy above you, you get less if you command bosco to mine it. This stupid mechanic means that with enough of those tricky vein spawns, you will be forced to abort a mining expedition due to lack of morkite.
Today I mined about 70 umanite and 24 enor pearls and I lost 80% of them because there was literally no more morkite
Are you sure? How have you been testing this?
There can be resources still stuck up high, not all of them might drop down
Typically they give you more than enough morkite to finish a mission, I think you might be missing the veins
Maybe but still it will be tricky to get up there

i think you might actually be able to test if bosco mines as much as a player by using the tutorial layout. its not always the same but it has very low complexity to it and every run is fairly similar since the same baserooms get loaded i think and then get run trough the randomizer. atleast thats what it looked like when i looked into cave generation
you'd just have to run the mission a few times with bosco mining the vein and then you mining it and compare averages

Try turning your wifi off on your computer. Steam would stop the downloading process and hopefully you can try again without it getting stuck

I've gone through the whole promotion assignment for the Driller, for the first time, but it hasn't given me any of the benefits? I can't retry the assignment, too. Anybody know how to remedy this?
@rocky sedge go to the class selection terminal in your spawn room and hit the button underneath the driller to promote him

if you're in a lobby with your friends, hit escape, disband team/leave
and after that you might need to disband team again if youre planning on hosting because somehow people cant join after you promote

Well when my and my friend both activate it we check out own stream or have friends come to check it out but we or them can nither interact with the game. Unable to spawn enemies or help
And the boxes were checked, signed in Mixer from the game..Hmm When it's activated, it should show in the space rig, a selection of beers and confetti as options on Mixer and that way you know it should be working. I'd try resigning in again before starting, hopefully the interaction appears.
Though I have experienced it still not working when in game. The interaction still needs a few more fixes. People who used it for quite a while have already notified the developers about it. Hopefully after their vacation and update 25, they will give a patch to fix some bugs still current in Mixer.

Duno if anyone's had this problem before but my wife and I failed to escape (long story, longer tunnel) but right as the escape pod lifted off and we failed the mission, she fell and died (i was already downed)
The mission started showing the ending screen as normal, (I was downed, she was still up in the animation) but then the score screen never came. We waited about 2 min then alt-f4ed. Has this happened to anyone else?

not really a bug, but i've noticed when using the flamethrower and plasma gun, the dwarven buddies still scream "eat lead" might wanna take that out
There's lead in the fuel. I have no explanation for the plasma gun 😂

If you get frozen, throw a grenade as you are breaking out you can throw a grenade while having 0 available and go negative. The escape pod leaves the dents behind, they fall through the floor
just had a bug where every player would fall through the floor of the drop pod while trying to get it
ended up failing cause no one could stand inside the pod
every time we tried to get on, it would push us under the pod, sometimes throwing me outside the map
i dont know where to put this, maybe someone here can help. my friend just bought the game to play with me, but his game crashes on startup, he doesnt get any screens he just gets an error that reads "a problem caused the program to close." We updated his intel graphics drivers, directx is on 11.2 . What else should we try?
@median nebula I made a list of the possible solutions that could help. I think it may be a Firewall or some anitvirus. I'd try those first if havent yet.

Found a weird one, not sure if it's specific to my configuration. When DMZ is enabled on the router for a particular client PC, the client drops inbound packets for between 4-8 seconds, and then suddenly starts receiving packets again. After which, this behavior repeats.
Im in a mission and it does not allow me to pick up the egg and My bosco picked it up like 3 times and i cant pick it up?🤔

@thin fox I'm not a network expert but I'd say it's normal, DMZ adds an additional security to your whole network and extend the path data have to go through to reach your machine.
@tired fulcrum This is incorrect, DMZ is typically a setting, at least in consumer routers, that allows all traffic to go to a specific address on the local network. For instance, if your PC is on internal IP 192.168.1.226, that PC will be directly addressable through the wider internet at your external IP. Effectively, it bypasses NAT and the router's internal firewall. Typically, this results in much easier access to that system from the internet, with both the good and bad effects of this.
Which is why this confuses me so much. It's literally less secure, and allows a single computer a much more direct route to the internet. Basically, if you ran a home server, you would apply this setting to it in order to allow it to run without more complex routing and port forwarding/triggering rules.

I've got a bug where my mouse inputs are not registering sometimes when i click. Sometimes they work perfectly, but sometimes I have to click up to 5 times before my gun starts shooting or I start mining something. I found some threads from a year ago about it but no fix or anything was posted. Just wondering if anyone else is having this issue.

I also just experienced @river pilot 's thing from earlier. Loaded into a mission completely normally, and then spawned very far up high above the actual map. Clipped through the drop pod during the little into sequence, and then was stuck in a small room that couldn't be destroyed.
Killing ourselves to fail the mission resulted in an endless black screen and the game had to be force closed.

Hey guy's, I really need your help please. I am constantly encountering an issue where my mouse click responds 1/3 times. I’ve bought the game a week ago with three other friends but I’m the only one who is affected by it. It ruines the gameplay and it is extremely frustrating because I’ve read many threads about this issue and no one has a fix, and on top of that I haven't seen one dev answer in any way to all these threads. The oldest threads about this bug goes back to december 2018! Seriously I’m thinking of uninstalling the game because I got to a point where I’m just tired of looking for a fix and it is just to much of a pain to deal with while playing. Does any one know a fix or have encountered this bug and discussed it with a dev?

@neon rover We have a failsafe that ensures that eggs that fall through the world will eventually reappear on the ground. It may have reappeared in the cave system beneath you, though.

not sure if this issues has been addressed so my apologies if it has but sometimes when i go into a mission my crew and i get caught where the pod spawns high up and we can not drill out

@ancient parcel that issue comes up atleast once a week in here yeah. it happens, its really rare and you just have to deal with it and for now just restart the mission.

@fossil swift As stated in the description of the assignment, the assignment has to be completed on Hazard 4. The warning message displays if you choose Hazard levels below 4, thus not meeting the requirements for completion.
is it intended to not get mission completion at all when doing haz 5 assignment mission while haz 5 isnt unlocked yet?
someone in my game had that problem before, did his mission like 4 times till we put it on haz 4 and then it counted

Yea I don't see why they couldn't just do the 3 missions to unlock it first
on another note, if you hit rock (which requires 3 hits to break) once and then power attack the area you hit, it doesn't break the rock, but progresses the breaking as if it were hit normally

Are you talking about assignments?
If so, ensure you are completing the missions marked with the diamond. If you are trying to unlock Haz 5, it must be done on Haz 4.

@mossy breach You have to complete specific missions that have the Mission Assignment icon next to them in order to advance in an assignment.
that's why I wanted a complete picture, to check what haz setting they were trying to play it on

Press a mission, choose a hosting option, choose HL, confirm mission.
@near holly I too am having problems where my mouse clicks are not being registered until several clicks later. I was going to replace my mouse but it's only in DRG that this is happening. I left click and hold to spin up the Cryo-Cannon and a few seconds later nothing is happening, so time to mash it again and hope holding it down has a result this time because health is evaporating quickly. Right click and hold to make use of my Skull Crusher Ale yet nothing is happening aside from my face being eaten by giant spiders. Right click, left click. It is frequently not firing. What is amiss? Every click needs to be counted. Anyway this is happening and I would love to see it fixed before it gets any more intense. I don't want to be transferred to accounting like Karl. Not wild about being forced to play in full-screen as a workaround. Not many streamers will be.

@swift horizon To answer your question earlier, I was digging a tunnel while bosco was carrying the pearl. He may have got stuck or something but the pearl did not and so my theory is it got dislocated while he was carrying it so it looked like it was possessed in video.

If the promotion assignment is not showing up on the assignment terminal any more, check the character select terminal in your starting room and see if there's a "Promote" button under whichever class you were doing the assignment for; you may have already completed the assignment without realizing it.

I’ve face a pretty shitty situation and I haven’t seen a matching bug report. It’s kind of a combo of two issues I was able to reproduce so I’d like to know if somebody shared a similar experience.
It was a solo length 3 mining mission (325 morkite) with my scout in the fungus bogs (secondary objectif : 10 fossiles, modifiers : golden bugs, cave leech cluster). I’ve explored the totality of the cave but ended up with exactly 10 fossiles and 308 morkite. I ended up aborting the mission.
The first issue is the actual bug and implicated Bosco : none of the veins I asked him to mine generated any mineral lumps (it included a morkite vein, a coppra cluster and several red sugar crystals). I don’t know if it’s relevant but Bosco had the mining expert upgrade.
The second issue which made the first really troublesome was that there was no margin in the ressources in the map (or so it seemed). I reached the bottom of the cave in 40 minutes and then spend 50 looking everywhere, using dozen of flares and checking the map every 10 meters to find any cavity I would have missed. I even poked the area covered in goo to check for hidden deposits. I ended up short a morkite vein (17 morkite, the vein Bosco swallowed I presume) and with exactly 10 fossiles.
I had to abort and it was kind of a pain given the time spend and the gold deposited (1h30 resulted in a lot of swarms and thus a lot of gold with golden bugs).
Is there anybody who experienced something similar ? I'm afraid it is not enough for a bug report as it is.
we definitely need better optimization to prevent serious lag on haz 4/haz5 missions on max complexity maps. Dx
@tropic moon I havent been able to replicate this, but this issue has occurred to other players as well. I did two exact same missions with only Bosco mining all the morkite mainly during the missions and I still left off with enough Morkite, like 1-4 veins left behind. Idk if it has to do with the mining expert mod, Bosco mining minerals but not gathering a lot from it, or randomly generated a shortage of amount.

the ADP drone would fly off somewhere else in the cave whilst mid digging and would still show its in digging mode

not much of a bug i guess but there's an interesting thing: you can join unlisted games via quickjoin which includes inactive lobbys where no mission has been posted etc. (probably just adds to the list of Quick Join issues rn)

Solo Driller, trying to do the last of the weekly missions, Elimination, forget the zone I was supposed to be in.
Hazard 3, 3 difficulty, 3 complexity.
My computer isn't the best, so I tabbed out while it was loading to check up on other stuff.
I tabbed back in just as it finished loading, and before it had actually put in any of the assets.
I spawned in, the drop pod apparently didn't? I was just at the top of the world, and was stuck there.
It claimed the stuff below me was common rock, but I couldn't drill through it.
Bosco and the MULE were below where it should've been.
I waited, and for a brief moment the top of the drop pod passed by me/through me, but didn't open up a new path.
So...Stuck there. had to quit, because nothing nearby was interactable
I've tabbed out before to no ill effect, but don't think I'd managed to tab back in at exactly that point before.
Also? I chose Exit to Desktop, and it's still running? It's not there when I alt-tab, but it's taking up a consistent 2,386,204k of memory with FSD-Win64-Shipping.exe that calls itself Deep Rock Galactic. I'm closing it, but that's also weird

I already got the feeling that Rosco is always less efficient at mining than a player. I guess that when it digs a small amount (something like all the 0.X a player would got), it does not generate a chunk and those mineral are lost. If it's true it might sum up to a (few) dozen(s) minerals in a long mission or even more.
But in my case it doesn't generated anything for any of the veins I designated. Not a single chunk was to be found on the ground nor did I see any fall when Bosco was digging.
Just in case : it was on the PC version.
not sure if it can be fixed but i think having a bad connection to a host's game can cause issues with iron will not ending when you regain health in any way as well as having the fuel cell floating in the air (when it is actually grounded - it still can't be walked through, but it bugs out a bit if you walk into it)

New to bug reporting and such, but uh, anyone know how to fix an issue where after mission complete screen, you spawn in the space station and you can't do anything and theres a cursor.

I had that bug, it happens to me if I alt tab or check the overlay while it loads after a successful assigment mission
that's the thing though, I didn't do anything, I clicked continue and when I spawned the cursor popped up and I couldn't do anything
couldn't even access the menu or chat
people could still join me though
@atomic plank A solution that worked with others with the same problem. If haven't done, see if this works. But it is a issue in general that whether or not your resolution or mode, the game doesn't always register all mouse clicks.
Yo I tried everything I could think of switching to fullscreen, windowed, borderless I tried with vsync or without and fps limiter I disabled discord overlay and currently reinstalling the game
I used to have like a very minor bugs where let's say I reload and hold MB it won't fire and I have to click again but this is like seriously game breaking

I tried starting the game in admin and changed compatability before and I just got this weird message about not being connected to steam and the game seemed fucked
Was prolly because of the compatability and not admin tho
But again it happens only in game and it's not like mouse isn't working 100% of the time so it really makes me believe it's an in game bug

Very minor bug but as you can see, it doesn't give you that red text when you have total ammo upgrade equipped in tier 1
And the whole thing is just weird
So I have the windows/xbox version of the game. My friends play on xbox and i play on pc. I have no trouble inviting them to my game and playing together; however, I cannot join their games and even when they send invites I do not receive them. I believe this may be due to the latest Windows update but I am unsure.
