I just dropped a Jadiz crystal in order to kill some glyphids, and it fell through the map. DOes this happen alot? It really sucks that it was Jadiz which seems the hardest to get and somewhat the most used.

I play with my son and we have good periods and then we have times when we cant play because the guest is kicked out: connection lost. We tried both ways, he hosting the game, me hosting it: the same results, the guest gets kicked. And this is happening month by month, the servers tend to work in the first weeks after a patch, then we cant simply play together until a new patch comes and stabilize them. The disconnection tends to appear mostly when we are out in the mines, but sometimes it has appeared after launch... We are in different towns, at about 600 km., he play on PC, on Windows 8, I play on a laptop, on Windows 10. I play on wifi, I thought this may be an issue, but I have tested it from different wifi places and there is no difference. I think we got this issue since the summer, but I have thought it will solve one patch. So, to summarize, the only clear pattern I have observed is that it kicks the guest (no matter if private or public game) and that it occurs at about half period between the patches. Oh, the hotfixes doesn't solve the issue, for example this for the New Year, only patches make things work. We love the game, we can play it all day, but, please, talk with those servers to let us.... 😉

I've had the game get significantly laggy near the end of missions. Running 2 player with a buddy, and we both start to see rare lag spikes after about 30 mins, and then they get more frequent, and seem worse when there's a lot going on. At the last part of a mission it can basically end up as a slideshow.
Has this already been noticed/reported? (searched, but couldn't find anything. requested access on Jira to report)
This never happened pre-christmas (didn't play over the break) so feels like a perf regression in the last few updates at some point

Can we get some clarification about damage via armor and exposed points under armor?
I did some testing as well as another guy on reddit and it seems like armor and exposed armor point arn't working as described or at least thought to be working
Bug Is mostly that Once you remove armor on a warrior when you hit the same spot again there doesn't seem to be any 'increase' in damage as the first shot that 'broke' the armor.
I will post clips once I get home to show this better
Also to this in my testing. Could I also ask how penetration works? is it pen to next hit box or next enemy. I've felt like times I've hit a leg, which then penned into a body part behind the leg dealing damage twice to the single enemy and wanted to confirm this is working correctly

So since the last patch, I have not been able to play the game. Whenever I try to load it, it says that it's waiting for Steam to load. I verified that Steam was running and I am logged in. I've done everything I can think of to fix it. I have restarted Steam. Put Steam into Offline mode and back into Online mode. Reinstalled the game client. Reinstalled Steam. Ran the game in compatibility mode. Tried running the game client as an Administrator. I manually started the Steam Client Service. I've even moved the install path to my local C drive to see if that would help. Has this been giving anyone else grief?

@errant oar Armor reduces damage by 20%. Blowthrough detects one enemy and then continues to the next enemy. It can't hit the same enemy twice.

Armour on grunts and spitters has a chance to break with each shot, and the chance increases with the damage of the weapon.
How does this interact with armor break mods - does it increase the chance to break the armor? Can you confirm the shot that breaks the armor is not subject to the damage reduction if armor break is taken?
Armor is a system that has been pretty confusing for the community and there hasn't been much communication into how it works, the more detailed reply you can give the better, thanks in advance.

@potent nymph No it's not a cracked copy. I purchased it from Steam. As far as firewall settings, I run Comodo AV Suite with the default settings.

we have had a case where someone had disabled windows firewall, which resulted in him not being able to join games, but maybe your firewall is blocking the connection in some way

@potent nymph I disabled Comodo. Still didn't work. I checked my Windows Firewall as well. Current settings allow for DRG and Steam to pass through.

I still maintaine that armor damage reduction stays even when blown off. I have clips which seem to show this but am trying to get better test cases.
Gotcha on penetration feels like at times ive shot at a leg (with face behind) and 1 shot the warrior with face weakpoint sound. Might have just pixel missed the leg and hit face.

Your points can be refunded at the Mineral Trade terminal. In the lower left corner, there's a tiny downwards facing arrow. Click on the arrow to bring down a drop-down menu, and then scroll all the way down to the second-to-last option. Now, the second-to-last option will normally be greyed out and will say "DISABLED", but what you have to do is hold down alt+f4 and magically the option will become available. Once it's usable, it'll refund your points.

I start it up.
Open the options menu.
Change to Fullscreen.
Play.
Exit the game.
Come back and start the game again.
Then I notice while the option reads the same it's actually not doing fullscreen anymore.
I have to switch it to windowed mode.
Then switch back to Fullscreen and then my graphic card driver takes over like normal.
Not a big deal but a bit annoying that it's not keeping the settings I choose forcing me to change them and set them back every single time.
This happens with an AMD card and Nvidia card. Regardless of the manufacturer or model, at least in my testing.
I can test it every time by trying to start recording or streaming via the graphics driver and it prevents me as I don't allow recording of my desktop. Then I notice its in more a Borderless windowed mode and not actual fullscreen. Anti-Aliasing optimizations and stuff that are normally there aren't, until I change the settings to windowed, then back to fullscreen, and bam everything loads up correctly, AA applies correctly via the graphics driver, etc.
Just wanted to let you know and...

@stray river ive had 2 cases recently, where the users antivirus was blocking the game files, try disabling your antivirus or allowing our game. I have also seen that someone had windows firewall turned off, which caused the same issue. enabling windows firewall made it work again

Yeah, so idk about other people having this issue but sometimes my whole screen flashes rapidly in full white. I have video footage of it happening which might prove useful if needed. It's really annoying and it's kind of spontaneous, as far as i know it only happens when there is a lot happening

There is something very strange happening.
I was playing with my brother. He lives in another house.
We were playing just fine no matter who invited who. In mid of a certain game that he was hosting as a public, the game crashed and we lost connection to the server.
Since then, I try to invite him. It gives him an error "Multiplayer session ended". And so it does the same for me when I try to join him.
The strange thing is that both of us can still play together but only if we join a server that is hosted by someone else.
I can still host servers that all people can join except him.
And he can do the same. I cannot join any servers he hosts, yet all other people can.
Called a friend in a different country to try and invite him, it worked just fine.

On windows 10 frequently I fail to join a mission in progress and am canceled midway through joining. After this the server browser never displays any more missions, just refreshes for eternity. Is there any way around this?

Thats not great. Is there any kind of consistency to when it happens? the xbox/win10 store build uses a MS protocol for online play, where we have had some cases where it is possible you can end up in a state where you are not "online" in the game despite being online

Also I've found (and been taking advantage of) a bug where if you fire both shots of the jury rigged shotgun and immediately swap after the second shot without reloading, then swap back after a few seconds, the shotgun is auto reloaded. Still takes ammo out of the reserve but you don't have to actually reload it. If you play any part of the reload animation however it doesn't auto reload and you have to reload it manually when you swap back

ok so to expand on a bug i found earlier regarding reloading an unequipped weapon
it seems that when you swap your weapon immediately after you fire the last shot
it reloads in the background
so if you pull it out after the normal animation time would have played out it will be reloaded
works with any gun not just the scout shotgun

@onyx horizon We have a combined bug for the GPU issues here https://ghostshipgames.atlassian.net/browse/DRG-111 it includes some known work aorund, but since it cover a number of issues, its very individual what workaround work for you. There might also be others that we are not aware of.

So, we've pulled this off twice completely without realizing it. If someone with the cave leech tingle thing starts going off {I don't have; more interesting w/out :D} and some dummy walks up next to them and gets grabbed instead, the tingle glitches and continues for the rest of the round. Not game breaking (I assume, I don't know what the animation looks like) but, the leeches are dead and the tingle continues throughout the mission 😃

Hey, is anyone else getting horrendous performance issues lately? Last time I played consistently was Update 19.4, however on update 20 every time I try to play online I get an effect similar to lag. Which anyone connecting to a game I host also experiences. However, the odd thing is, my ping is consistently in the double digits, network traffic comes nowhere close to capping out.
Interestingly enough, my GPU usage is capped out--despite lowering settings to Medium across the board, when I could previously get 200+ FPS on Ultra.

I just installed the game, playing it the first time i finished the tutorial. I went into quickmatch not really knowing what i was doing so i just followed some people arround and shot some bugs. after the round im now stuck with 165.012.843 Credits. Is that supposed to be like that?

Is there any fix for the weapon contract milestone getting stuck and not completing? I have all the weapons, but that hasn't updated. Just wondering if there's anything I can do on my end...

How is the weapon milestone glitched, you do know it goes 2/2 then 4/4 then 8/8 right? So you should be at 2/8 with all current weapons unlocked

...Oh, I forgot. That is confusing then since there is literally no way to continue the milestone (right now). And considering there are 8 weapons to unlock, I assumed that something broke with the current 2/8.

There's is no technical issue concerning the weapon assignment milestones or any other milestones. It's a design issue and they're working on it.
When you complete two assignments, you'll get the first milestone. Then for the second milestone, you have to complete an additional 4 weapon assignments, to a total of six. @shell vine your stats are correctly displayed.
The issue with weapon milestones is that the total number is so low compared to all the other milestones. You'll need a total of 14 weapon assignments completed (2/4/8) in order to clear all milestones. But as there are only 8 new weapons this is currently impossible. But don't worry, it'll be fixed.

I completed 4 assignments BEFORE patch that fixes them (few hours after they released new weapons). when they released new weapons, weapon achievements didn't wok at all, until they fixed it. that's the problem. some people have similar problems too. @mossy breach

Having similar problem to something reported a while back, but don't see any working solutions yet - Win10, game purchased via MS Store, I get the Press Any Key splash screen and nothing gets me past it. Alt-Tab and Alt-Enter work and switch/resize window, but stuck on splash.
Tried uninstall/reinstall, and uninstall/reboot/reinstall, also "move" app to other drive, still nothing... no crash either, just sits on the screen animating the title

I'm having an issue in trying to play with a friend. When I join them, my screen goes black and the music loop resets, but I never actually go to the class select screen. The game doesn't seem to crash, as alt-tabbing and closing it that way works just fine. When they join me, it works for 1 mission, and then they can't leave their starting room-pod-thing on their side, and on mine it looks like they are simply standing at the spawn location. The seems to be a desync. We are playing on the same network, and any randoms who join are unaffected. This issue occurs in both public and private games. Any ideas as to what's going on?

Solved my issue by reinstalling Windows - I was overdue, I suppose. Must have been an incompatibility with another software, driver, or other silly Windows thing.

Not really a bug, but when I played a salvage mission, i had drilled out a section of ground prior to setting up the comms; when the fuel cell dropped in it landed where the ground was, so it was floating in the air. I was solo so i was lucky to be able to even set it up.

I think there was a bug which was fire damage not stopping, I shot my friend with the Deepcore and the fire conversion upgrade and the fire didn't stop and he died to it. A related bug is the leech sense not deactivating

I have seen that someone use pickle too fast. He said to me how to do it
1: Use pickaxe
2: At the same time of hitting pickaxe, change another weapon(primary or secondly, etc.) quickly.
3 And quickly switch to using of pickaxe quickly again. You can cancel the motion of raising pickaxe up.
I don't think that this skill is not gaming skill, it's like a glitch or bug.
What do you think?

Hit escape to see the menu and talk, if a blue circle lights up around your name you are on VOICE ACTIVITY. If it doesn't light up there may be a potential problem with your mic or settings

More like interaction than a bug. Shield is supposed to force enemies away from it, so when you throw one in such a way an enemy is literally surrounded by it his AI tells him to move away in every direction, so he just stands still

Hey, I have a reoccuring issue where my game world sound, but not my HUD or certain callout sounds only come through my left headphone, but not my right. This only happens in DRG and no other game, and I fixed it once but I don't know how.

I did it once before, by re-installing the game and messing with the audio settings 100 times, but that fixed it in the same way that a Baboon hammering on a sink fixes a clog
