i was planning on getting rid of my old bootleg fumos via garage sale since im getting a real one soon and the bootlegs all have some sort of defect unfortunately. ive also wanted a plushie of the character Naked Snake/Big Boss from Metal Gear for a while, who doesnt officially have any plush toys, so i decided to try to make a custom fumo of him using my bootleg reimu as a base. i don't have the materials for clothing or hair yet, and i do not even know the basics of sewing or plush making. before i started, i wanted to at least make a mockup of the character as a fumo in order to get a good idea of how it would look and try to figure out what materials would work best. my attempts at making a mockup via photoshopping a template on google failed and it looked like total shit, likely in part to the template not being very good. the hair was one of the biggest problems for me since im not sure how to turn his hair into a plush form that i feel looks good. i was wondering if there is a better way to make a mockup and get an idea of how he would look as a fumo.
