if you are tryin to power the pump jacks, the steam engines wont work. those are mechanical power
gotta use a combustion engine
also whatever you are powering must be on someone's property to link to a power grid
or the city needs to designate a property for it
as long as something that produces electrical power and the pumps are on owned property, not just the cities limits, it should work

I am working on gold supply, though I also have electronics so I have been making it into gold flakes for our circuit needs. We do need the gold wiring too and copper wiring that I can not do. Once those are gathered in a few hundred of those wires and some more epoxy / fiberglass for the substrate I should be able to make all the advanced circuits for the lasers. I kind of just plan on making circuits for days to keep us supplies and I would let you take on any more advanced things as you can do the machining and industy needs as well.

Also something I learned last night is that the MU3 and Mu4 did not affect the efficiency.
It's either the MU2 or the 50% the oil drilling modern upgrade that affects the recipie. So feel free to haul that MU4 around until someone needs a Mu4 that's also lvl7.
The only realistic way to speed up oil drilling is using the 20% reduction buff if I put all of the oil drills in a "room" but it'll have to be a huge room since all the machines are huge.

I'll get them smelted tomorrow then. If you do wind up needing bars immediately, you can transport it to the pollution zone and throw them into either of my stockpiles. Theres a project there with around 900 more gold bar crafts to go, so that'd be 3600 bars total if it gets through it all. same goes for the copper
