But yeah. I'm aware that the HBG ignition piercer is one of the strongest things mh wilds, but it also feels like the only real way to use it

Sadly gonna probably just go back to LBG, which somehow both hits harder per hit and about 10x faster outside of comparing it to ignition HBG

The lack of any recoil control skills or decos, or even just different levels of recoil for different bowguns also means that spread shot feels horrible to use, outside of LBG rapid firing it. Somehow spread shot recoils you the same on HBG as using wyvern ammo on it

thats weird, but i suppose the core idea of HBG is to act similar to lance

low DPS, but can stay point blank

its why SnS does really low damage. their sustained DPS is disgustingly high for its ability to target specific points on a monster

Most ammo, even elemental has minimum range and it encourages being a bit far

I gotta intentionally get close if I want to block a bit for clashes, which is admittedly fun

The game really could be better optimized but by the time you are HR 139 you have definitely played long enough to at least get your money's worth.

the game can take upwards of 30 mins to shader cache on lower systems thats already 30 minutes of your 2 hours

I just take reviews with a dash of salt cause I usually see so many that have ‘X’ amount of hours at reviewand they’re saying it’s complete shit go for something else, and their total hours to date are quadruple that with very recent activity.

I know people have a kink for some pains cough destiny 2 cough but it’s all subjective. Most MH fans of previous titles know exactly what they’re coming into. However new people are coming into franchises with only 2 hours in the entire series and bitching about how it’s unplayable cause we need health bars and quicker attacks and shit They don’t see me going into another fans beloved franchise and immediately demanding changes or it’s a shit game until it changes.

The toxic mentality of gamers nowadays thanks to shitty streamers are steamrolling downhill and infesting other franchises with that toxic mindset everyone seems to have now cause they wanna be the next Dr D and talk a whole bunch of shit and can’t even back it up

I managed to get my challenge quest time down to five minutes 12 seconds with Olivia.

While the Doshaguma has more health in multiplayer I think I could get a better time with me on lance and someone else with a DPS focused weapon.

He's a much easier fight with ranged tho, he gets special part break attack openings very often that a LBG or bow can just instantly hit and knock him down for a bit

I didn't use pendants at all in World because more often than not they are ugly and distracting. But I out the wind chime pendant on my charge blade when I first started playing Wilds and haven't taken it off. Would probably be too quiet without it at this point.

It is a bit rough going back to GenU after having played all of the newer gen Monster Hunter Games. But it really does have a lot of content. Perhaps too much content.

Apparently it's damage is based off the bAse damage of your weapons and gets stun from it too if it's a hammer or smth

So you could even build to max the punch damage

It has all stun value, hammer and horn gives additional value

So its really good ideally against monsters with shitzones
