I like to think it's a Darth Jar Jar situation. She's got insidious intentions and pulls you into tense situations while she investigates something secret.
If there was a "handler stop talking to me unless it is for plot reasons" setting she would be fine. But you aren't even safe if she is miles away in camp because she is saying stuff while you explore. And it isn't even helpful. "When in doubt, take a bite." First of all, that is not usually good advice, second of all, shut up for a bit please.
Alma is already quite a bit less annoying than the Handler but also doesn't say much outside of cutscenes. Which is how I wish the handler would behave. Haha.
Alma already better cause she collects for you during fights
And even when she does say something it feels more natural because she is usually close by. Follows you out to the field but ducks out if combat starts.
Reminds you to carve tails, and lets you know when supplies restock
I never managed to cut off a tail in the demo. Hard to do with a bow.
Not demo. Beta.
Puts potions and rations into your bird bag when hunts start
The real question is where she pulls it out from
I do like the ability to go into the settings and change whether you want actual players or AI to respond to your SOS flare. But there was also the option to just have the ai Hunters with you from the start.
Like they won't explore with you but would head out with you if you start a quest from town, or show up the moment a real quest started.
The AI Hunters actually did a good job. The ones in Rise were fine but not as helpful.
I am not expecting Alma to ever pick up a weapon but since she follows you around anyway it would be cool if she did. Even if it was just at the start of an actual quest.
I am pretty hyped for the full game.
I am both hoping we can customize our seikret but would also feel bad for doing so unless we were somehow customizing the seikret that likes us rather than getting a new one.
Want a horse bird as goth as my hunter and their cat.
I forgot to test the ai hunters
I like having the ai Hunters around but if I do end up using them I will probably cap my hunts at 2 players so I can still keep my palico around.
Hauki will get his chance to shine.
Basically the same reason I hate human voices on palicos in wilds, at least to use for me
Trying to tell me stuff constantly in meows=cute
Trying to tell me stuff constantly actual words is annoying
Also pretty sure even with 4 people in wilds they still all get palicos
My palico left whenever there was more than one other person.
Wait really? I've been LIED to
Wow, cannot pause world even when playing solo.
This Tzitzi-ya-ku just walked up and punted my cat without ever technically being aggroed
I mean... if I was a dinosaur and saw a little floofy creature I'd be tempted too
man, thats what games these days are lacking
personality between npc
like how in wind waker, if a weapon was on the ground the enemies would bolt for them to fight with
let the dino punt small animals
Yea game wouldn't lose out if you made the animals have occational attitude/playful fun, it shouldn't be like everytime they see fluffy animal they punt it but just randomly it goes like: It's time!
Sick a random animal near poly, poly immediately tells it to fuck off

ngl i thought that was the space chat when i typed that

but hey, that'd be cool if poly told other animals to fuck off lmao
Mill Bots in Metal Arm: Glitch in The System when one "backfires" (farts) and the other nearby ones give him shit.
@raw marlin @leaden karma @jovial badge @junior atlas @meager quartz @rough cipher
The whole squad gotta see this

Pffft xD
That's some style right there
It is sad that I had to learn of the existence of Thousand Dragons by playing the Wilds Beta. There should be some kind of clutch claw tutorial in World. That I actually did
There is one but I have not done it
In world tbf, you dont even use dragon piercer
Its just mid
I use dragon piercer. Would rather have fun than just chase the meta.
Am I just not chasing the meta because I am way too lazy to make five elemental builds? Maybe
@dusky vale
I wish there was a Bazelguese bow. Seething Bazelguese is one of my favorite fights
Favorite monster doesn't even have a weapon for me
Honestly, I thought the same thing back when I played World, innate bazelgeuse bomb arrows sound awesome
Right? Could make arrowheads out of the scales, surely they would keep the boom properties
Also pinecones are cool
pinecone arrows
Seregios was pretty cool
I called it steve in the gif searcher and was wondering why it wasnt working

Tfw the HH puts out their super dps buff the moment the monster falls over
Tbf it is a super doot
It needs to recharge like wyvern blast

Got that early game swag where you don't even have decorations yet so you need to wear armor from five different sets to not even come close to maxing out a skill
Got two points of constitution tho. Cannot make too much progress because I am playing through with a buddy. I can only hope that Wilds won't have any missions that force you to watch a cutscene or three before you can join/invite others
A shame Chameleos isn't in Monster Hunter World. I really like the bow aesthetically.
Pretty sure chameleos is in rise
It is, and I use the chameleos bow as a layered weapon in Rise

I've never seen someone so entranced at a cat making bread
Now anytime someone tells me gamers doesnt care about small world details i have a perfect example
Another thing I like about Wilds is that you can pick the ingredients and those are actually what is used in cooking. So you could do a vegetarian roleplay challenge.
Even in the beta I found myself using the fish instead of the red meat even tho I didn't need the defense and would have benefited more from the attack bonus of the red meat. Simply because IRL I prefer fish. No getting around rations and well done steak besides not using them.
I wonder if bow mains canonically have heart problems because of all of the dash juice.
the dash juice shakes while trying to do the dragon piercer
Y'know this is half true in World/Iceborne. It doesn't affect the animation but changes what dish looks like when it comes out.
Even the vegetable meals include a ton of meat
I respect the protein, however sometimes ya need a big salad
My housemate rage quit World after the Radobaan it asks you to hunt during the expedition to the rotten veil left just before he could kill it.
So probably won't be getting Wilds, but as a vegetarian irl I am sure he would appreciate the cooking system in Wilds
The... Radobaan...?
Oh no... That's... I don't think they stood a chance of finishing world if they rage quit on Radobaan.
It was a DPS check, and he failed.
I wonder if I shouldn't play through Monster Hunter World with charge blade. Since I will be using a lot of bow in WIlds, but also plan to use the charge blade more.
I do like the charge blade.
With my friend using long sword it might also be a bad Idea to go melee tho.
thats what got me into bowguns
you cvan only take being harassed by massive arc swings for so long
I am hoping he either gets better with the long sword or picks a new weapon soon. But if world has some version of flinch free I will try to get it.
Wilds hopefully will.
I am also using a defender weapon because I want to get through the base game as quickly as possible, but I also have a ton of experience with Monster Hunter. I am worried that my friend using a defender long sword is going to make Iceborne a challenge once we finally get there.
You can get commendations early if you do the event quest to hunt two Kirins. Not that early and this is only important if you cannot make story progress too quickly because you are going through it all with someone else. But I already have a Defender Bow 3 and we are only HR 9 or 10. I think 10.
id drop down with you guys and bonk with doots
We are on PS4 unfortunately. Well, he has a PS5. Would consider getting one as well if we got a Bloodborne sequel or even just a remaster.
I do have the game on PC but haven't been playing it on there. Might get as far as iceborne on PC for the palico layered armor in Wilds.
oh... im solely on pc
I am hoping we get access to all armor as layered like in Rise even if not until High Rank.
World is a fun game but its layered armor game is lacking. Which is fine because you do get the Brigade armor which I used as layered in Rise until late in the DLC.
Charge blade is pretty good for cutting tails.
I played the beta test for Monster Hunter Wilds and wanted to see if 'so tasty' made it in! The results were mixed..
#shorts #vtuber #twitch #streamer #clips #anime
"So tasty" is gone in Wilds
Why even live
It isn't gone. Watched a whole video on someone trying to find it and for some reason it only played outside of the one safe camp underground
The "So Tasty!" lady is trapped underground.
Damn
That's relieving

I really like the coral horn offering buffs in World but the plunderblade is too good not to use.
But free buffs are nothing to scoff at.
Always got my palico on the drums
I've been using Vigorwasp for so long that I forgot there were other options.
Same. That vigor wasp heal comes in clutch way too often.
Plunderblade for life cuzz I loved mounting the monster with my Palico
Does the arrow you loose after a bow clutch claw attack count towards mounting damage? I don't think it does but it is also fired after you dismount and and it possible to miss.
Playing through Iceborne for the first time and it is so nice ||having a different Handler||

After escaping the Bird Dimension and farming Kulve Taroth for months the Sapphire Stars, hunters Bill and Bogues, are back and ready to take on their most bone chilling quest yet!

Iceborne is actually giving me some trouble. I should do literally any of the optional content that makes the game easier. I didn't even unlock any Palico gadgets besides the plunderblade on this save. Canteen? Haven't unlocked more than 5% of the ingredients
I still cannot even get more than one type of item from the big tree.
It really does seem like I ran through the base game and literally nothing else on this save and then for some reason stopped before even going to to Seliana for some reason.
Was also using the insect glaive instead of the bow so if this wasn't clearly my character and on the PS4 I would assume I somehow downloaded someone else's save.
Actually failed a quest for the first time in World. Hunting a Barioth and my gear is just not good enough. Also keep running out of stamina. While I do only have one level of Constitution I am also very dumb.
Iceborne gets really fucking hard after you finish it's story
Yeah its a rough but great time
I am very used to Rise, which is more arcady.
Evade Extender 3 is much more fun in Rise, but I still cannot imagine not having it again in World now that I do
Need to spend more time in sword and board mode. Game keeps telling me I can block, which is only partially true. If I am using the sword mode of the Charge Blade it is to get back into whirligig saw mode.
Rip and tear and all that
The correct and only way to play is whirlygig mode

"What CBT" it's not just the Alatreons but Safi'Jiva is in there????
Safi'jivas not That bad
Alatreon is the bigger concern
No, but they always have Health as if there was 4 hunters, and Safi'Jiva has a lot of health.
Should the 55min rule still apply after completing high rank? I feel like it shouldn't anymore
I personally hated it in late iceborne hunts
Imo the timer really doesn't feel necessary on most ocassions
The timer makes sense in Wilds for some monsters
The Ray Dau leaves when the weather is no longer stormy since its a lightning aspected monster
Makes perfect sense
When it says 5mins remaining and I know I, a solo hunter, will not achieve that goal it just ruins the momentum of the hunt.
For me, when we see that, its really just an indicator to leave and come back and get good
My friends and I I mean
What I have noticed with Wilds in particular during the Beta is that the monster tends to flee like
ALOT
Idk if I liked wilds yet. That opening hunt in the beta was so overwhelming with everything happening at once.
I wish Chameleos was in World. What is the point of having layered weapons but not having the Chameleos bow? Haha.
I wish Worlds weapons were nicer tbh
With a few notable exceptions, World seems to be trying to take itself a lot more seriously than GenU did.
After hitting HR4, which didn't take long, one of my Palicos was basically never not Isabelle from Animal Crossing. The other one ended up being toon link.
And while super limited in what you could actually do, the Prowler mode was a lot of fun, especially when goofing around with a friend who was also a prowler.
Tho GenU featured Dante from Devil May Cry
Same
Bazelguese is a very different fight with a charge blade than it is with a bow.
lol, I hate fighting Bazel.
Bazelguese is my favorite nephew. A joke I have been making since before I had a nephew but I do have one now, making it funnier.
I'd say I hate to love him and love to hate him
but this thing
is the only one i hate with all my being
I like Bazelguese and the fight with Bazelguese but I do not like the gear you can get from him. There isn't even a Bazelguese bow. Or charge blade, the two weapons I use the most.
Definitely main the bow, however.
I cannot seem to find my GenU cartridge anywhere. Now I need to stop myself from just buying it digitally because realistically I am not going to play more than five hours of it.
I hope Bazelgeuse is in Wilds. Just because. Odds of us getting Nerscylla are very slim since there is already a spider monster shown off in the trailers.
Spoder
Not enough legs.
Hate when someone tries to call Gunner builds "Monster Hunter's easy mode." If it was really that easy more people would be using them.
Swaxe mains be like:
Switch axe is fun. Manage to do a lot of damage with it despite not knowing what I am doing.
I think it is better that way. I do know how to use the charge blade but miss a lot anyway, I miss the focus mode from Wilds
I was joking about how Swaxe mains think every other weapon is braindead easy and they're use the braindeadest weapon.
All weapons can be used by any player early game. But late game really makes you learn a weapon or two otherwise you will hit a wall
The amount of menuing that gunner builds require while avoiding danger makes them one of the hardest right under the lances imo
Just did the Leshen fight for the first time. Didn't like it.
Too much nonsense. Would be more fun with my cat.
I think weapon haters just dont know how to use any other weapon other than their main
Like i main db and gunlance but that didnt stop me from diverdifying and trying out other weapons
I can tell you now, my least favorite was lance cause it just wasnt calling to me
But i know lance mains are terrifying
I've hunted with every weapon and they're all fun and for different types of hunters. I just like challenging myself by only using one weapon type for a playthrough
I have used every weapon once or twice since I like doing the arena quests with every weapon available. But I always end up back with the bow.
I do think that Focus Mode in Wilds will be the thing that makes me like the charge blade as much as the bow.
Just being able to direct my attacks instead of getting stuck in an animation just to the left of where I would like to be aiming will be a game changer.
I do think you need to do a perfect block to enter savage axe mode as well so maybe I will remember I have a shield.
Have perfect blocked a few things by accident. Mostly at the end of an attack that leaves me in a block position.
The auto block frames are quite nice sometimes.
I was trying to figure out what was triggering savage the entire time I was playing. I couldn't see a pattern while I was fighting.
Would be cool if you could trigger it after a power struggle. Just push a monster down, swing around it, then cut its tail off with a spinning saw.
I didn't try but surely the charge blade can trigger a power struggle. Any weapon that can block is able to.
ye all it takes is a perfect guard on certain attacks
Perfect guard is also how you activate savage axe mode. So maybe my vision is a reality.
Unless the power struggle prevents it.
I am also probably going to use bow for the most part. Maybe mix it up. Use the charge blade every third hunt or if I need a tail.
I have cut off many a tail with arrows but not usually on purpose.
Just aim for the face with a dragon piercer that can hit the tail more than once if it passes all of the way through.
Although since arrows are perfectly capable of cutting tails I suppose it would be easier to do than ever if I get a tracer arrow up in there.
With how fast dragon piercer can come out now as well, i dont think bow is gonna struggle nearly as much with severs
I think it would only work in offline for obvious reasons but it would be sweet if we could make custom ai Hunter mods. So we can mod each other's hunters into the game to help out.
Surely someone will figure out how to do it. But it won't be easy to do.
I would be willing to fully voice a second me to go hunting with. Can name them "Evil Satu"
I did a power struggle on the lion a couple times. It triggered on a block for a specific attack animation.
I do recall the savage icon was lit up after those 2 events.
Hell yeah!
Focus mode is going to make charge blade so much more fun.
I love charge blade but I do miss a lot.
Attacks I feel like should totally land always hitting a bit to the left. Too far to the left.
I do wonder how builds are going to look with the option to quickly switch between weapons. Unless the weapons themselves have enough skills to be a build on their own, people are realistically going to have one weapon they are built for and one they are not.
Unless you use two of the same. I would be willing to keep a status bow for when I am on my Seikret and a damage bow for when I am in the thick of battle.
I plan on having a status bow with my charge blade main.
Heavy bowgun would probably be better for status if you could be bothered to manage the ammo. Which I cannot.
I cannot lol
Wild that I need to hit HR 50 to unlock some layered armor. You make it to the DLC at around HR 16.
Trying to make some armor
Might end up making the leather pants purple as well. Wish I could make the vest black and keep just the coat purple. Would look better.
you wouldnt catch me putting on the pedo costume @jovial badge
im saying i would never put that on

I just mod in layered armor. I really don't care to grind for cosmetics.
esp after this many years
I like Pocketcat as an antagonist. ||Tries to kill a child to stop the birth of The God of Fear and Hunger.|| Fails. ||Then tries to interfere in the Festival of Termina to stop the birth of Logic and the awakening of The Sulfur God.|| Fails?
He's a really neat mechanic in that he makes the game easier but locks you out of the "better" endings if you work with him.
Anyways, more on topic.
I hope they bring some heat with the OST for Wilds. And by Heat I mean stuff like Crimson Fatalis' theme. World felt too upbeat for the vast majority of the boss themes honestly.
I think the only themes I really liked are Velkhana (which worked out cuzz I love Velkhana), Kulve Taroth, and Brachydios' theme.
Like most Monster Hunter music ironically makes me think of what I wish a Mobile Suit gundam game would feel like. lmao
I had to replace my music with FalKKonE's stuff. So much better.
I have been listening to violin covers of some of the monster themes.
Cannot remember the channel but it is good stuff.
FalKKonE does awesome symphonic metal of a lot of music.
The Brigade layered armor already having a sword makes me want to make a wide range support build with the Witcher sword and shield. Just have three swords.
I probably won't ever get around to doing that tho. Having too much fun with the Dante Charge Blade. Cannot wait to be able to make layered weapons.
Oh, no. I am really enjoying the hammer. It is almost like very weapon in this game is good.
That'd be crazy
I was using the hammer a bunch to get the king hunter coins I needed to craft this layered armor.
Only needed five. For a bit there I had four and only needed one more. Didn't get one two arena quests in a row, and then I got three of them from one quest.
I am hoping the brigade armor makes it into Wilds. But I am also curious as to how that will work with gender locked armor being a thing of the past. So I have heard. Will you have both options of the Brigade armor or just the more interesting "male" version? Time will tell.
Perhaps it just means it is called something else. If there was an option to pick body type I didn't see it. Haha
I am sure there was an option and I just actually missed it.
ye there was an option for it. iirc you can piecemeal each part as the male or female design at will
I don't use most weapons due to being used to certain animation speeds. Anything faster or slower and I get thrown off.
Oh, hey. I was just saying a few hours ago that I have not seen a single one of these in World so far
I have a few hundred hours in world and I just recently got some of the skill gems
They do not like giving you what you're missing or need
I do miss the ability to just craft decorations.
Hopefully you can just craft them in Wilds. Monster Hunter is all about the grind but this level of RNG is just not fun.
I have never hunted Kulve. If I tried I would probably need to use an SOS Flare but I prefer to play where no one can see me. They might know I don't have a single defense or attack boosting skill.
I am all evasion all of the time. And some stamina management.
I probably should make a better build but decoration RNG continues to make it hard to make a good build.
Just got four tails from a single hunt. One from a carve and then three more as a bonus reward. And the people want to know, where are all of these tails coming from?! Haha
I love my totally not cursed son

My son, Rat Baby, who has every disease.
Oh, hey. Just earlier today I was talking about hoping the Fun Fright event starts soon and it started today
spoke it into existence
I know there is a new event every two weeks or so but I didn't think we would get this one again since it was the last event as well. But it does kind of make sense as well since it is still November
It is bi bi weekly. Two weeks on, two weeks off.
Quality freeze frame
Hmmm. I seem to be missing something. Despite following a guide and cross referencing optional quests I am missing some 6 and 7 star HR quests. Despite doing all of them.
I have even gone through and caught one of every single high rank monster just to be safe and nothing.
Anyone around that needs talked to? I was missing a few then I realized I still needed to talk to some people
If there are, they are hiding very well. I even checked the research base
damn
Might have to go on an expedition. Sometimes they're out in the field.
Are bow mains only responding to SOS flares set off by other bow users?
I don't usually use the SOS flare system because I can more easily finish a hunt alone, even if it takes a little longer.
But if I do use an SOS flare while using the bow it feels like two or all three of the people who respond are also using the bow
Had one person join me only to cart three times
I will need to check the quests more carefully. No Idea where to even get it but I was able to join a quest named Waist Deep on Waste which was the 6 star quest I was missing.
Alternatively I can just keep getting lucky with responding to SOS flares.
Sorry, it was called Up to your waist in waste
Oh, no. One option quest requires I do a special assignment first. Which apparently I cannot do without the handler. I was hoping to go as long as possible without getting her back.
Good news, I managed to do that quest without needing to do the special assignment. Bad news, all of the remain quests require I actually track monsters and level up the research
I feel that
I managed to get the optional quest I needed done.
nice!
Now I just need someone on PS4 who has the last few optional quests I need so I don't need to actually get 15 different monsters to research level 6
Not going to lie, I do not remember ever using a light bowgun.
ya used it once
must have been one of those "just gonna experiement" runs
did one and done lmao
I have used it before in other games. Not bad but not as fluid as the bow.
The ancient forest is so pretty in the rain
it is
I already miss the Serious Handler. Got the original handler back. Haha
This 50 Shades of White quest is giving me a lot of trouble. Barioth seems to be giving me trouble in general in World and this one is big.
Need the Guild Palace bow, however.
Its cause nargacuga plus cold
It is because World's maxed out Evade Extender is not nearly as absurd as in Rise.
I did manage to max out Constitution which helps a lot but I might need Stamina Surge as well.
Yeah evade extender with the light blowgun dodge reloads is like a whole different game
Can just roll and reload through most attacks pretty easily
Its iframes even without evade extender is pretty absurd
If you want more i-frames you can also go with evade window. I am sure extender offers more i-frames but I use it for the slide.
My entire bow strategy is to just never stop moving
Imagine Rise levels of absurd evade extender paired with adept hunter style perfect dodge.
Could probably clear a football field.
Earplugs is a very useful skill to have but you would think the hunter would just wear earplugs.
No way they aren't going to be nearly or totally deaf by 30.
Why did no one warn me that Arch Temperd Vaal Hazak was a hard fight?! Haha
I managed to do the fight with no mantles. Ran out of nullberries though. Depleted my entire stock with that fight lmao
My build is pretty awful. Basically all of my skills are for evasion and stamina. Nothing towards defense, health, or even attack.
All gas, no brakes and all that.
What I need to do but haven't because I am lazy is make five different elemental builds. Since I am a bow main.
I take down master rank monsters with massive health pools by chipping away at their health in tiny amounts like the world's most persistent mosquito.
Honestly the only thing I want from AT Vaal Hazak is the ability to craft the Death Stench layered armor.
Abusing the monster weaknesses is pretty OP as is in world
I am still hunting solo but I plan on switching back to charge blade as soon as I am hunting with my friend again.
Get some charge blade practice in before Wilds.
Have considerably better gear now than I did when the 50 Shades of White Barioth was kicking my butt. Maybe I can try that again when I wake up tonight.
A Guild Palace bow would be better than what I have been using.
The mosquito is insect glaive
Insect glaive flies around a lot, sure, but arrows are closer to a mosquito's bite.
I have made my first elemental bow. Only managed to get it up to Gigacles+
There is another upgrade but I need another Uragaan Jaw + and I am currently sick of hunting Uragaan. Haha
Someone using the switch axe carted three times, so I am not sure why they even responded to an SOS flare. But I did get this good freeze frame screenshot out of it.
I am sure I will still get my money's worth but I have no Idea why I preordered the premium deluxe edition of Monster Hunter Wilds
I did that the day it was available on Steam lol
@late merlin Genuine question
Would you have liked a more mystical base camp theme
Or the current one
My Own Astera Theme (Music Only)

This video showcases an original composition that would a...
I never paid too much attention to the music in Astera since I spend very little time there. Of anything what it needs is more dock noises. Just chatter and people at work moving stuff around.
Whatever the Monster Hunter equivalent of a seagull would be.
Monster Hunter Generations is fun but I keep trying to do things added in 5th Gen.
But Alchemy Style is fun. Just running around shaking a barrel.
adept style my beloved
barrel is a good time, is true. we love free earplugs
I usually play Adept Bow
Adept lbg was my main throughout GenU, but swapping to alchemy funlance every now and again kept things interesting
I keep trying to charge my sword with the chargeblade but that was added in World.
You mean the frame of our weapon stopping when it meets the monster?
I noticed that but chalked it up to db being fast
Yeah, article I read basically said that there were complaints about it in world, probably by new players not used to it, and it was tuned wayyyy down for the beta earlier
But now people wanted it back so it's back, at least from what I read
DB remains my favorite wound ability
Nice, I missed it.
it was for sure jarring at first, but it makes big hits feel GOOD
we win \o/
i dunno why they ever thought to remove that. in tri, i would have a full second of that action stop when wailing on jhen mohran
which i am definitely hoping makes it into wilds
MHW brought a ton of new people which complained about it
but by the time wilds came around there were a bunch of people vocal about missing it
Weird take to hate it.
i mean if you havent played a game that had heavy hitstop before it could feel weird
but also it feels great so def not in that camp
the only people who bitched were dumbasses screaming about "muh frames!"
people who literally do not understand aesthetic
Basically
Yeah, they equated the effect to frame loss.
I didn't like World as much as I hoped I would so personally I hope it stays in Wilds
I like when big ol axe or big ol sword actually sticks into the monster for a sec, gives the weapon a sort of weight to it
I wish I had tried more weapons in the beta. Despite having played for 15 hours I only used the bow.
I like how they changed Hammers hitbox to be more manageable personally, it's not tiny anymore though I think they did that starting in World. I mostly only play Charge Blade and Switch Axe tho, I really like what they did with those two in Wilds.
Gonna try going back to Insect Glaive, haven't used that since 4U
Where it was awesome
4U was my first Monster Hunter game. I started with the IG but the game didn't click for me until a bit after I switched to bow.
I am glad that Wilds is going to be cross platform.
saaame, took em long enough to implement
HE KEPT DOING IT
Who wants to play GenU with me sometime? I am not very far yet because I am starting over with charge blade.
Solo alchemy charge blade is plenty of fun but I am sure I would have more fun if I had a group to buff.
At the moment I am just using the health boosters and whetstones. Sometimes use the alchemy food as well.
I'm going to have to pass. I only have it on the 3DS.
Just hunted Nerscylla in GenU with a charge blade and it was a ton of fun. Please, Capcom, give me my favorite monster in Wilds.
You getting different spider
You can have multiple spiders
||if the leaks are anything to go by, youll be getting your spider||
||There were leaks???||
||You clicked on this spoiler. :)||
||I sure did ||

||twas datamining more than anything, but theres a list of returning monsters pulled from the demo's code, including nerscylla, lagiacrus and gravios among others||

||Maybe you'll have to find Lagiacrus' lair by swimming underwater, like it's in a cave like last time, or that there's a phase change where you just dodge water shots for a while? Idk how bringing Lagiacrus back without underwater combat will work out personally.||
||Isn't Lagiacrus in GenU or am I thinking of another big water monster? The fight without swimming is a pain since it keeps running away to the water and all you can do is dodge its ranged attacks until it comes back onto land||
||Anyway, I am not going to let myself get excited about the leaks until I am in game hunting Nerscylla||
||Ye that's what I'm fearing honestly, I hope it's not annoying and I hope they keep Lagiacrus at its roots because having a projectile phase for a monster you just wanna smack is kinda annoying||
||Made ya look
||
||Oh no I’ve been rattled
||
This is going to sound weird but I think I am having more fun with charge blade in GenU than in World.
Like it is less fluid in its controls but the hunter arts are a lot of fun to use.
Tbf world had less player specific abilities and focused more on encouraging using your environment
Ie clutch claw charing monsters into walls or off cliffs
I take it as less personal in terms of gameplay for people who miss stuff like arts
I use the clutch claw but it is fair to say I hate it. I am so glad the clutch claw isn't coming to Wilds
It is in wilds, just not people remember it
Which is great
I love how its used for DB Wounds
Using it to tenderize monsters and send them into walls isn't coming back.
I don't mind the slinger itself.
God i hate tenderizing
Literally have to tenderize every 30 seconds
And it breaks the flow so I modded it to make it like 1 minute long
Which is usually how long encounters are
Before fleeing
You have to push an extra button to switch to clutch claw with bow, and then the range sucks and you need to do it twice to tenderize unless you have a specific skill. It is way too distracting from the hunt
Clutchclaw probably the best thing about bow being thousand dragons
Thousand dragons is back in Wilds and easier to use.
You use it the same way you would usually use dragon piercer, but without an arrow drawn kind of like a power shot. If you have an arrow drawn you use draogn piercer, and using it in the middle of a combo makes the dragon piercer come out faster.
Wilds bow is great, it is why I plan on still using it a lot even tho I am going to try to main the Charge Blade
HOMING ARROWS
Yeah, I share the same feelings
I LOVE Rise's Switch Axe tho
Rise Switch Axe is (chef's kiss)
Tho I loved slamming a monster into a wall every 5 seconds, especially ones that won't stop moving...
Lookin at you, Tigrex.
Amen
I'm quite glad the clagger is not coming back. I love the mod in World that just removes the monster's tenderizer bar.
I would also agree that the arts in 4u and genu made the charge blade more fun.
they outdid themselves with all the ranged weapons, both bowguns and the bow are so much fun to play
Bows have always been fun to play, even before they were in the series.
I am going to mod bows into Monster Hunter 2 and play that, let's go.
Hey, Capcom, what the hell? How are you going to give us a fight like Ahtal-Ka at the end of GenU but not give us a fight quite like that since?
Wilds has a big ol' desert. I don't think it would realistically happen but I would probably sell one or both of my kidneys to fight Ahtal-Ka in 6th gen HD.
Is that the crazy scrap monster fight?
It pulls a fecking mech out of the sand, yeah.
Me beating GenU six years after everyone else: "Have you seen this? We need to tell everyone about this"
ahtal ka is an amazing fight, but i have doubts itll ever show up again
i wouldnt be surprised if jhen moran shows up though
Yeen
Where's the Yeen Monster
THATS WHAT IM SAYIN
give us a bone cruncher
Why would you want that? You’d have to kill it
didnt stop me from having 0 nargacuga kills in genu despite having the full set/weapon
traps exist :)
I mean, Odagaron are bone munchers
Nargacuga deserves it
The lil shit
I want more birds
Because birds are turds
I miss doing everything to stop the lil fucker from summoning the pickle
Return and learn to summon Bagle goose
oh yea, forgot he does that lol
Bringing home a new JO crystal
Nothin like hunting say, barioth, and quarpecko shows up and screams for deviljo
Just cause
MODS, MAKE HIM STOP.
I saw the thumbnail but forgot to lookup who Daisy was.
It was more or less that Tigrex was in the thumbnail.

They addressed monsters running afte r30 seconds of fighting
Insect Glaives can now be mosquitoes again
Where can I find that full change list 😮
Its on Steam
WAW
Wait, where?
Bow has already been nerfed and the game isn't even out yet. Which is fair.
I plan on maining charge blade anyway.
Or at least going 50/50 bow and charge blade depending on my mood
Going to make my cat look more like my hunter, then my Seikret look like my cat.
Just imagine the seikret guy seeing a hunter and their cat and being like "you are never going to believe this but we have a bird in your color palette."
Bows are not allowed to have fun
I have been a bow main since 2015, bows are always fun. But melee weapon users hate when the ranged weapons are actually good.
I never liked the bow until world made it fun.
Bow is certainly a little weird in 4U and Gen/GenU. But I liked it.
Rathalos can be pretty annoying when you are using a blade weapon. Get your scaly ass down here so I can cut it off.
I used to never use flash shit, until I needed to religiously hunt rath for some reason. Then I learned to love them
Also trolling @leaden karma with them too
We need to hunt sometime soon
Dude I can’t wait
I’m eyeballing rise while I’m on my switch right now. Something to keep me busy here lmao
I should pick Rise back up. Not even 100% sure why I stopped playing but I am only MR 124. So there is more to see.
I am now playing through Rise on Steam since a friend gifted it to me.
Guess Rise and Sunbreak were/are on sale
it's been going on and off sale for a while now. good game 👍
Very fun game
Some people didnt like it cause they thought it was too casual
I am Master Rank 124 on the Switch. So I have played it before. But I am once again playing through with the charge blade. Have been using the bow since 2015 but if I can help it I will be good at the charge blade by the time Wilds comes out.
It is wild when people complain about quality of life stuff. Like being able to restock at camp. Just don't do that. I don't.
I may just be tired but Khezu is the first monster so far to give me trouble with charge blade
Pretty sure the penis monster gives everybody a hard time
Cause it just tells melee users to fuck off for 5 seconds whenever it wants
Hard to work on my guard points when the Khezu is wildly flailing around its flaccid everything. Haha
Also it has weird hard points
It is just happy to see you

good lird they ajakakan that thang
Is it February 28th yet?
I will need the file my taxes early. If I wait until after February 28th I will simply forget to do it before April 12th or 15th. Cannot remember which is the deadline.
I usually file in late January/early February anyway.
15th
I always recommend filing as soon as you’re able to. Sooner you do it sooner you (hopefully) get a return before the rush hits them

Anyone here playing the second beta?
Arkveld is kicking my arse. Stopped carrying after switching from Charge Blade to Bow but still timed out.
I was going to pass.
I see a lot of folks wanting to wait until the game comes out. But there are cosmetic rewards in the full game for playing the betas.
Not wanting/caring about that is also fair. I do not remember the reward for the first one but the second is a palico charm. Whatever that is. Weapon charms being back, maybe?
21 gb
Need to do the first hunt and reach base camp
No Idea what the pendant is. I think it is the weapon decorations. But you have to at least play the beta enough to get that 10 raw meat. Haha
Its like a phone charm
It dangles at the hilt of your weapon
mantles spotted. im not buying in until i know that vitality mantle isnt in the game
if vitality mantle shows up, fuck wilds
its defo gonna have it
No doubt
Cmon vitality mantle wasnt that bad :^)
every monster in the game after its addition was balanced around that fucking thing
capcom even made mention of it
so if that particular mantle comes back, i see it no different than the birds in rise
im not buying a poorly balanced game from a AAA studio
the mantle is even worse
at least with the birds, you could mod the max bird into the start and nothing was impacted. no collection needed. mantle? theres no balance for it
That would explain some things since I never used it. I don't like to play with those kinds of mechanics.
The only mantle I ever used was Rocksteady so I could box the monster with my high defense.
But yeah, no, fuckin' Fatalis was balanced around Vitality and Temporal mantle.
Oh, I lied, I also used the FORBIDDEN TECHNIQUE with the Glider Mantle cuzz Hammer could abuse it for mounting.
Ghili mantle for lyfe
I never used mantles in World. They were too annoying to keep track of.
I do like when games add tools for optimization but later-game Iceborne seemed to be built with the Idea that you would definitely be using the vitality mantle. And as someone who wasn't it became less fun.
It became a huge grind in late iceborn
I never finished Iceborne. I got to the Guiding Lands and if I remember correctly even grinded enough to unlock Zinogre. But while I love Monster Hunter which is 40% grind 30% skill 30% fashion, the Guiding Lands was too much.
I actually don't know if the Guiding Lands would have somehow been more fun if I was still using the bow. I was playing through with the Charge Blade in preparation for Wilds. But I have also been using the charge blade this time around in the beta and they are really different beasts.
For one thing SAED spam is a tiny bit harder. They added a whole extra step.
Guiding Lands would have been better if they didn't soft cap the areas' levels and it was bigger. Guiding Lands felt far too cramped for what it was implied to be and consequently made itself very unfun to play in when you're looking at the same 3 areas for hours when you're trying to level it.
The amount of grind in Guiding Lands felt too much like it was trying to be a MMORPG.
The cat pendant is cuter than I thought it would be
Oh duuuuuuuuh, I was thinking pendants were some new name for Decos or something. No, they are and always were the little weapon chotchkes dangly doos from World.
I figured that is what they were. I didn't use the weapon charms in World because they were mostly annoying or not noticeable. So I probably won't use the stuffed cat one either but I am glad to have it
They weren't super noticeable unless they were on a big weapon, but I always imagined them banging into my hands and how much that would hurt IRL so it made me not use them.
I used the big robot jellygish a bit because it was funny but it was super distracting. Haha
Oh, shoot! Just watched the newest trailer for the first time and my favorite monster is in it!
The only I liked was the big pretty wispy one you get for doing everything
@dusky vale if its any consolation, so far the only mantle that exists is ghillie and they dont even point it out
And the gameplay doesnt seem to revolve around mantle use
Most of the gameplay is geared towards the open world and using your bird
The handler reminding you to carve, gathers for you while youre fighting, and refills your supplies mid quest
Mantle spotted, I will check wiki after release. If either of the meta breaking mantles are spotted, fuck wilds
I don’t care what Capcoms excuse is, that’s an indie dev sort of move
I never used the mantles beyong ghilli because they felt like cheat codes
Exactly, and the devs adjusted monster attacks to compensate. I won’t support that behavior
I am probably just going to play on high. My computer can handle ultra but the difference is barely noticable to me and ultra does visibly drop a lot of frames.
Played Minecraft between 10-15 FPS for years so the lost frames don't actually bother me too much. Running the benchmark again on Normal just for fun.
lol, I should actually do some settings comparing too. I also got used to low frames, though Skyrim and it was weirdly ok until like 12.
On medium settings I only got 52 average FPS which obviously better but still only good.
It is always wild watching someone do the same thing I am doing but so much better. I think the issue isn't that I am not learning the monsters moves and openings, bur that I simply do not have an attention span
It is easy to say you are actually keeping on top of tracer arrows and coatings when you know you should be doing that. But then you aren;t because you are silly.
I never really used coatings in my bow playthrough. They didnt feel super impactful for the micromanaging and farming they demanded
I mostly just used poison coatings to collect enough bnahabra parts to make the armor. As silly as it sounds I have always liked the asymmetrical look of the gunner armor. And the bmahabra gunner set was very clean.
Also it was a shiny butterfly coat. Who couldn't like that? Haha.
For me i just foeger
I get so caught up using the bow i forget coating is a thing
In wilds is a bar rather than a consumable so it has theoretically infinite vials
But you still need to attach the coating
This is game changing.
Stranger I was playing with pointed out that I need to press and then press and hold the attack button to get good damage out of powere axe mod.
Power and mode* not sure how I did that
Super quick "how is everyone doing more damage than me" to "oh, that is how everyone is doing so much damage."
Looks like you can start preloading if that's your kind of thing.
ohshit it comes out tommorow i didnt realise
Should be released at midnight
Its midnight est for me
It will become playable at 21:00 my time but I will be at work. Until 04:00 on the 28th anyway. Big sad.
But then I am taking a week of paid vacation from the 1st through the 8th. So I will be playing enough Wilds.
I had to move my vacation to the second week
im probably just going to download it today/tommorow and actually play it this weekend
or i could quit my job
either works
23.5 hours remain
4.5 hours
<t:1740718800:R>
@dusky vale So far it seems like only the ghillie mantle exists
yeah, thats what im hearing
Hunter ID
FU9SP53Y
performance seems to be still dogshit so ima hold off
It's been perfect for me
i dont have a god computer so
maxed setting 3080
im on a 20 80 and most of the reviews agree sadly
Yeah, I can see anything even slightly lower would not do well.
kind of a disgrace
lol, don't know why they are selling edit vouchers
wait what??

Vouchers are used to edit indepth such as facial structure and stuff
You can freely make basic adjustments to hair, color, clothes, and voice ptch
ah
got myself wilds wont play till tomorrow tho
Anyone's going to create a Honk Squad squad?
Damn, game is getting thrashed with user reviews
Somewhat rightfully though, given most of the complaints are the awful performance
I'm happy I have a monster of a PC

But its funny cause my friend has a lower end 2060 laptop and played with us without any complaints last night
But I'm genuinely having a blast
its called cope
it apparently had absolutely nothing to do with PC build, its simply a poorly optimized game
people with identical stock PC builds getting very different experiences
Many such cases
right away they botched the preload
Hopefully they can fix it but i dont have high hopes tbh
Capcom doesnt want one of their cash cows suffering that review stat, im sure they will figure something out given they want at least 2 years of revenue out of it
Made it to high rank, now is a good time to get some sleep. Been playing for about 12 hours.
Idk, even mhw is hardly optimized all these years later
I have basically zero hope it'll run much better as it goes on. At least I'm planning on upgrading my GPU
I am sure this game could be optimized better but this one is probably just going to require beefier parts.
Fair, but my 3070 shouldn't be having a stroke trying to run it on medium
true
Yeah thats kind of like when Todd Howard told his gamers to get better parts. MHWilds should not need a 4080 to run 60fps on 1080p
Especially with how shit the facial animations are during the dialogue that i skip
Yeah like it looks good, but it isn't pushing the graphics boundaries at all
And shouldn't be acting like it is
honestly i believe its purely the absurd amount of particle effects they threw everywhere
LBG my beloved
They did so good
Its no longer just an elemental only weapon
Like i said during beta, bowguns in general are so good, and feel good
both of which are crazy
Having burst shots and such being built in really helps, along with all the dash-shoot mobility stuff you can do
Can just unload on them and dodge while keeping it going
HBG did amazing too, having shields just be a part of them was a good move
I miss the ability to modify recoil though
Not sure I like flinch free with charge blade. Makes me complacent with blocking
flinch free is definitely something i intend to be part of my kit later on when im done with the story
Also can't tell if my Dodge rolls are working
but thats only because post story i play with others and any and all bowgunners and longswordsman can go jump off a cliff
That makes a ton of sense
I am a bit sad that I am 12 hours into the game and still don't have a charge blade I think looks very cool. Would usually have one by now. But I am just picky. Haha
I like the spider one
i mean, i have jack shit for options with SnS
i also havent gotten very far in yet, still low rank
I fell asleep at 10 hours lol
The Lala Barina charge blade kind of reminds me of the one in World. The one designed by a fan that won a contest. Something Eagle?
Not as cool but it does have a similar vibe. Just needs feathers.
I may be playing Monster Hunter Wilds wrong. Made it all of the way to high rank and while I have used a few armor spheres I never did craft new armor. Still rocking the hope set.
The story seems to be set to easy mode so more people can play it.
True. I am an idiot and the only time I failed a quest even not upgrading my gear was the Black Flame.
I only just finished Rai and fainted once so far from not blocking
It was actually the same attack that carted me all three times. The big fire breath that goes just a little further than you think it does.
You can block it but not in chainsaw mode.
I am waiting for a monster that was shown off in one of the trailers. Because I already know I like its gear. Bit on the edgier side tho.
Black flame wasnt bad for me
I died cause my controlel ran out of batteries LMAO
My controller has stick drift but I don't think it has killed me at all yet. Does make the forge menu a pain to navigate sometimes tho.
I noticed people complaining about the amount of loops you go through just to get friends
And I don't really see any issues
I actually haven't done any multiplayer yet. But did add a friend or two during the beta and it is a bit of a pain.
Menus and sub-menus oh my!
Black Eagle?
The Blue Gold one
Yeah. They don't look alike but they have the same aesthetic.
Side note I actually crafted armor
I'm running balahara cause evade extender
Makes gunlance hop like crazy
Evade Extender is my favorite skill. But I usually use bow.
I am not saying I do not dodge while using charge blade but I am trying to block more consistently.
I like that you can see when the shield for the charge blade is considered blocking. I don't know if there is an option to turn it off. I have not looked specifically for that yet. I am starting to get annoyed by my constant red and yellow glow.
Just spent four and a half minutes blocking a Lala Barina. It just kept doing those super weak swipe attacks and I just kept blocking them. Neither of us escalated. I think this windchime I put on at the start of the game and haven't taken off yet is getting to me
It's like a subconscious melody.
It would not be fair to say it is driving me a tiny bit mad. SInce I have to have already been a tiny bit mad to not take it off in these 14 or so hours.
Spoiler warning for late-early-game gear.
Bunch of weirdos, my team is.
the pink fuzzy bowgun slaps
2nd Mantle
There is thankfully no temporal mantle as of yet.
Not that I have used a single mantle so the game is pretty balanced even if you don't. Mantles would make things too easy if anything but I am also only Hunter Rank 23
.
ONLY???
Beeg
Yeah, not sure how much I like that personally
I liked the longer hunts but maybe we'll get a bit longer of hunts for master rank or w.e if we get it later down the road
I think theres just a lot less chasing now especially with dinobird mount
Also low rank is EZ PZ
no hunt in low rank took longer than 10minutes
also part of it is weapons are just more mobile imo
can hit while repositioning on the monster so theres much less having to run them down
Aiming during melee helps so much
Theres so much less whiffs
I wouldnt know, im too busy slideshoting with the lbg
Aiming during combat has me holding the controller in a weird claw grip where I am moving the right analog stick with my left thumb.
Despite being 80% just tapping/holding B, I am having a lot of fun with the charge blade.
ive had a long hunt, so its not off the table with herds
and a chunk of mantles were shown to be shoved off to various endemic life, which is good
vitality mantle is infact dead
rock steady also does have a good place because of herd hunts
Fighting two Ajarakan at the same time in the arena when I got a pop up saying someone would like to offer me a meal. I will totally take that offer but I am a little busy at the moment. Haha
Alright, that was kind of funny. The "meal" was raw tomatoes, whole roasted garlic, and berries.
Also, fecking finally. Have been stuck on "raise your HR" for 200 years. But HR 31 or 32 unlocks the next quest.
Wow, it wasn't even a quest. I unlocked a cutscene. And now I am back to the HR grind. Haha
Hm yes, bowgun
chonky
something has gone wrong in rendering
Mon hun 1 weapons
did we make a squad yet?
Having 2 hunting horns means god-like abilities. The amount of buffs you can put out is silly now
as hunting horn main i love it
Does Azuz look like trash to anyone else on high settings?
The cities run like trash but out on a hunt the game runs smoothly for the most part.
Not very cash money that's for sure
chilla game kinda face
Weirdly enough my game is running better after installing the HD texture pack. But it is 70gb by itself so I need to figure out how to remove it later. Haha
that felt short
Felt short? I assume you mean low rank. High Rank is taking a lot longer because the game keeps asking me to actually hunt monsters to raide my HR.
Game has to try to keep us busy until we can get some title updates up in here,
Yeah thats what i meant, HR will be fun to get into
LR feels well paced so long as you dont blast straight through it
I think im on the cusp of HR, just fought that || flagship wyvern ||
Also that || Rath fight || is definitely a noob stomper.
Pretty hard going into that with a ||fire|| weapon lol
also fixes my issue with the game
I wish I had the attention span for just grinding up HR. There are still monsters for me to see but I need to level up my HR to see them
It wasn't that bad imo
I was more focused on hunting monsters I need for gear
I feel like Physical is king again
Dont forget the entire village of muscle women
And the elf that's three times taller than you
Side note i did actually like the writing this time
Its wasnt "things are weird because of this monster" shallow
This being a one level skill is so nice and game changing for me
I'm about to grindout a max rank evade extender for my gore set
I’ve been getting nearly every armor set with a single hunt
Wounds is so fucking good to farm
I unlocked more mantles but none of them are too crazy or game breaking
Like rocksteady and healing mantle
The broken mantles got shoved into bugs across the map
I'll say that the mending mantle seems a bit bonkers
For fast hitting or multihit weapons
To be fair thats expected with a leech type mantle and fast weapons
IMO Life steal is either worthless or broken in games. So we'll see where it goes.
There’s a broken life steal armor
I’ve been using it
75 hp return on destroyed wound
Some of the horn auras are nuts
The Rey Dau horn has passive healing too. So, as long as you dodge the big hits, you can out heal any small dmg and add rocksteady to be basically immortal
Uh oh. I can already see the old heads bitching about how easy the game is.
They definitely made the entry level lower for new players but you can still get your cheeks clapped if youre careless even in LR
i mean, low rank is designed to be easy
and that trio of flap clappers definitely tried their best to kill me and its the first thing you fight in high rank
they did try to shut people down instantly upon reaching HR. i rarely consider poop bombs but that trio got me to poop
You can clear monsters pretty quickly but I have no qualms imo
I really didn't like chasing a monster half way across the map in world
I think thats what really slowed down fights
i just got to hr 20-22 with romayne
very fun so far
@dusky vale Flayer feels busted
the thing that makes it easier to cause wounds and makes you deal additional non elemental damage
I was HR 12 3 days ago
I haven’t been on much since
Most I’ve done is help snake in like, 2 fights
Otherwise I’ve been solo
Rath SnS is pretty awesome with its passive stuff
I might build a crit set for it
ive been using the Rathian hunting horn , has the big heal song attack buff large and recovery speed large
God preserve me if they add the chaotic magala
not saying it cause of me cause i saw someone run around with the armor
maybe other people dont want to know whats in the game
like rathian has been in every game so thats no suprise
SnS is so fun to use
setup has been lbg+sns
Yes, it’s nice being someone with better taste in weapons than everyone else
A weapon that can supposedly do it all!? Sounds like we need not just a #TeamSwordandShield captain, but a guide!
And that's where @JoCat105 comes in!
I have one of his makeship goblins
I have a gunlance longsword going on
Also wanna do insect glaive
Dang yall are far
Ive been wanting a new monster hunter to play
So now I'm gonna play the hell outta it
I've been too busy to pour hours into it
|| that Odo and Xu Wu were a joke ||
Clashing is a fun mechanic
Feels amazing being able to use my sns and hbg to just push them over
Gunlance you clash and reload the lance and blast everything you have in its face
I think this quest is bugged. Or I suppose random hunt.
Twice now Alma has said ||a cocoon was about to hatch at the slightest provocation.|| So I provoked the shit out of it and nothing happened. Even started an investigation hunt and it wouldn't ||hatch||
I'm at work and wish I wasn't, the hunts call for me
I regret using SOS flares. There is always a bow user stealing my precious wounds. I need those to enter power axe mode because two of the three alternative methods require I actually block. Which isn't my scene. Haha.
But when you get an 8 star tempered Arkveld with guaranteed gems you must share it.
I took the whole week off. Plan to play games other than Monster Hunter but so far have really only played Monster Hunter. But I am HR 60.
im at hr 38
I made it to hr32
I will be so ready by the time we get event quests and the title updates.
i just now started planning armor and decorations
This outfit is so much prettier with ||Frenzy Virus||
I would honestly rather decorations be craftable and talismans be random chance. Since you need more decorations. And random chance talismans usually also have decoration slots. Which may be why that method works better for the mobile games.
Not like mobile phones. I mean portable.
I need Ballistics and Stamina Surge, mostly.
Once I have made the full death stench set I can start using my ancient coins on gold melding tickets.
Probably a good Idea to stop wasting my coins on sinister cloth anyway as I am not likely to use the set even as layered.
It is a trade item.
I am away from my computer at the moment or I would tell you from whom. I want to say one of the Wudwuds?
rove maybe
All of Rove's trades are for the under water plants for something else.
Still have no idea what I'm going to run, haven't settled on if I'm using LBG or HBG, or what monsters
Rove is actually where I get most of my ancient coins because I have a ton of the underwater plants.
@leaden karma by the way one of the wudwuds , the tall elf lady and another npc i think were basicly "garden" replacements
Plumpeach is the wudwuds name
I am not 100% sure how the farms work this time. Used to be that depending on what you were farming you would get a bit after every hunt. But it feels like no one collects shite until after five hunts.
Once more of y'all are HR 31+ we should hunt together. Better than hunting with strangers.
We still need to make a squad or w.e they are called
They are called squads, yeah. How many can you be in?
Definitely more than one and I am only in one squad currently.
Not sure if there's a limit to how many you can be in
i mean im not getting any sonorous gems but i got 2 flayer 3 gems
I wonder what kind of crossover events we will get for Wilds. If CapCom wanted to bring back the Dante charge blade exactly how it was I would not complain.
Would need a single new animation for the quick shield charge from phial charging.
God the witcher sns was peak design
I liked it even though I don't use SnS
Wonder what crossovers we will even get this time
Some of the memes being made send me
I am excited for more story content. I am having fun grinding HR and decorations but will need more content soon. Lest I start biting CapCom.
now this is bothering me more than it should
that rarity seven is not in the right spot
https://i.redd.it/k7z5ykxn0bme1.jpeg @leaden karma

honestly the story of mh wilds basicly starts as "The hunter is HIM/Her/Them" and every cutscene is your character being "I am HIM/her/them"
some titles i have seen are wild tho @raw marlin
@leaden karma https://i.redd.it/6ojqn4c1s8me1.png
Saving this for the next time I need to inform admins in other servers of a bot
Note to self, the cooking cutscene in Wilds does not protect you from aggroing monsters.
@raw marlin
no food for you

Tbh it's a weird spot you are crashing at, shouldn't be crashing when compiling shaders like that
Sometimes it doesn’t even get to start compiling before it crashes lmao
Surprising noone
Would have been disappointed otherwise
Everyone should join, we can just hop in eachothers quests whenever it looks like through the quest menu if you are in the squad
There's a Rival out there somewhere
